Tortilla Leicester in Leicester

Delivery delayed hard again and order was messed up. Last time they cancelled my order after making me wait over an hour and half because they said there was no driver for pickup yet it said “courier at the restaurant” when I checked. So not sure who’s lying here, just eat or restaurant. This time the same, except got the order after 2hours. 2HOURS, YES that’s right. Then they messed up my order, paid £5 for a large bowl of Guacamole, received small. Last time ordering from here, such a shame.

I am new to the city. I first came to tortilla to try the place after having a positive experience in another city. The experience here was even better! Morgan and Nicole have been great on the multiple times I've been in. In fact, they are the main reason I will definitely come back. They were really friendly, really helpful, and ran me through the entire process. They did everything with a smile and answered all my questions. I really think the workers above have made my times here great and should be commended, and I hope to come back and see them again.

The quesadillas were good but too greasy and the burrito was acceptable. The price is much too high for this quality though.

I just ordered from Tortilla Leicester via Uber Eats, relying on their chosen delivery partner to get my meal to me fresh. Unfortunately, this experience left me appalled. My order was significantly delayed—by an additional 25 minutes beyond the original delivery time. After struggling with Uber’s notoriously poor customer support, I reached out directly to the restaurant, requesting they remake my food to ensure it arrived in good condition. To my surprise, the response was shockingly unaccommodating. I was informed that they would not remake the order, as it would “come out of their budget,” leaving them “out of pocket” for a delivery issue that was, by all accounts, not my fault. I was left with cold food and a sense that Tortilla Leicester has no interest in taking responsibility for issues with their chosen delivery partner. As a customer, I shouldn’t be penalised for their logistical choices, yet I was offered no support or solution. As someone who has frequented Tortilla in the past, this experience was deeply disappointing, and I will not be returning. There are plenty of establishments that value their customers and take ownership of the service they provide. I suggest finding one of those instead.

The food was delectable. The vegetarian options were delightful, however, a wider variety would be greatly appreciated.

My experience here was incredibly disappointing. The staff were rude from the moment I placed my order. I specifically asked for a chicken burrito, but they deliberately gave me a beef one instead! This is terrible considering I haven’t eaten beef for years. Luckily my friend noticed before it was too late.There was no care for customer service or concern for dietary needs. This kind of treatment is completely unacceptable.

There was missing items and rang the store and they advised to reorder again but advised would need to pay service fee and delivery and said yes you would have to. Disgraceful service will not order again.

I frequently come here for lunch as I work in highcross and the food is always delicious I love a healthy option for lunch. The staff always give me great recommendations and are always so kind! Shoutout to Morgan, Shakira, Nadine keep up the great work

Every time I come here the staff are so friendly that it makes me feel good. The food is excellent will plenty of variety even for vegans and vegetarians. The food has so much flavour, it blasts in my mouth. Everything is reasonably priced and I get great vibes when sitting in the restaurant because it has great music, comfortable and I leave feeling full and relaxed.

Went there today around 13h30-14h30. Unfriendly staff. No spoons available. Upstairs toilet not working. No salt available. Food (burrito) not warm enough. Extra charge its customers for topping. It says it all . Disappointed. Would not recommend at least its Leicester branch.

Really good service from Tom, Shaakira and Nicole. Really friendly faces and gave some really good recommendations, they actually have tried the products themselves which makes it really authentic. Good portions and very considerate. It was our first time and we’ll definitely be returning. Thank you

Tortilla not even heated, leftovers put in. Food felt unappetising as well as service not being good at all, as manager was not able to help me with my problem. All together felt like a let down, after visiting other tortillas with much better quality and service.

I ordered a large chicken bowl, but unfortunately, it arrived only half full. When I called the restaurant to address the issue, they informed me that they couldn't do anything about it and suggested I reorder. While the store manager was polite, I'm quite disappointed with the outcome. It's disheartening to receive incomplete orders, and I had hoped for a more customer-friendly solution.

Been to Tortilla quiet a few times, first time coming to this one and it was great! Food was delightful, store is small but very cosy and Morgan was a massive help and very quick service! Would recommend! :)

Ate at this place several times already, food was always tasty and fresh, however today half way my burrito, I found a massive long brown hair stuck in between of the pork meat... I was offered a new burrito or a refund, I have chosen the latter.

Mexican American here. I like chipotle the restaurant and sorry, but chipotle is better. India also has a similar restaurant called California Burrito, which I haven’t had yet, but my husband has. My husband said California burrito in India taste better. As far as Mexican flavor, it wasn’t really there. And the guacamole was too sour. Too much lemon. I had the vegetarian burrito. The veggie protein had too much chipotle, the chili not the restaurant. It made the vegan option taste too sweet. Too much chipotle peppers can border on barbecue sauce. I’m sure locals enjoy it but if you’re an American tourist who loves chipotle the restaurant, I’d skip this place.

First time I came here the customer service was on point. She was so friendly and talked is through everything. Today it almost felt like having customers was an inconvenience. Very difficult to hear what they are saying over the music and from behind the counter and when you ask them to repeat themselves they act like you are being extremely awkward. Less likely to return now. Today's burrito was definitely worse than the last time aswell so it very much depends on who is working for how good the food is.

This is the best thing to happen and best place to eat in Leicester in my opinion. I always get a burrito and it’s always really nice. Nachos queso is also nice. The food always tastes great, has a good portion size and definitely fills you up. Service is always pretty good. Some staff do need a bit more practice when it comes to making the burritos though as I’ve had some that haven’t been wrapped very well and start to fall apart. Overall the place is great (This part is purely based on ordering delivery) Unfortunately ordering from Uber eats isn’t very good. I’ve ordered a few times now and each time the delivery person has been on a bicycle and by the time they’ve arrived the food is cold. Biking from the city centre to where I live takes too long and is too far. Someone with a car needs to do deliveries if it’s out of the centre. The most recent order- 23rd September, was the coldest yet. By the time it arrived there was no warmth left. In future I will just wait and actually go there if I want a burrito.

Went to get some food this afternoon, and got a burrito. It was scrumptious. Absolutely delighted by the wonderful hospitality! Even better, I was met with additional customer service when shakira came and asked if we needed anything and further supplied us with napkins and cutlery. definitely recommend visiting, all the staff are amazing.

Took advantage of a buy one get one free deal, ordered two roast veg bowls but only one arrived without any roast veg, just the extras. I guess they were busy that day so the offer was overlooked. Otherwise it was nice, but I would rather go get it myself next time

The food was very delicious, customer service was great. The workers there were really nice and friendly, very aproachable. Ordering was super easy, never ordered a burrito before so i was lost but it was actually very easy and simple.

My experience on going here frequently has always been amazing. Customer service has been fantastic, special mention to Nicole who makes sure that I’m always served well and with politeness everytime.

Lovely food, however when making an order for our gluten intolerant son. When I asked the male assistant if the vegan chilli was gluten free he said ‘ I don’t know but scan the code’ which was really awkward as there was a long queue building up and so we rushed with the vegetables option. I think people who work in store should have better product knowledge than saying ‘I don’t know’.

The wraps were very tasty and juicy. I would recommend this place all the time. Updating: just awesome burritos. Wife had veggi one and I had beef and both were satisfying.

Great food and service. Angel and team are an absolute credit to this location. I came in with two very indecisive children, who have never been here before. All the staff on shift (didnt get everyones names), were really patient and understanding. They helped explain the choices and made our experience here very pleasant

I had the biggest burrito on a branch of Tortilla in the whole UK. I just love this burritos.

The food is good but the lady that served us today- was adding cheese and sauce has added like literally a few crumbles of cheese and like 1/2 teaspoon of sauce. When asked for more she added literally a pinch more of cheese and a few drops of sauce. I understand that they’ve got limits on how much the can give but we’ve paid £9 for one burrito, I’m sure they were able to give us at least normal portion of cheese and sauce- as they did with meat and rice
