Tortilla in Wandsworth

Very small corn tortillas. Measly ingredients. Another pound for this sauce, another pound for this ingredient. Expensive. Never again.

As I came out of clapham junction station from a long flight, I was feeling very hungry to which I looked around the clapham junction area for real good food, which I spotted tortilla. It made my day as i am big fan of Mexican food and burritos, as I entered the restaurant I was greeted by lovely lady by the name Christina and she went through all the kinds of meats and salads that I could choose from to add onto my burrito. I felt this level of service was exceptional, knowing your receiving good food and sold by someone knowledgeable and that Cares for what she does. I shall again come back to a lovely burrito. I highly recommend for any Mexicans lovers to come and try this place.

Overpriced man and they even lock the disabled toilets. Massive queues and no staff, you can see why they close the toilets.

My mum and I popped in this evening to collect some TGTG bags and had a really nice experience. The staff there were really lovely, in particular Emilie and Leah who were so welcoming and very kind. Thank you so much! You put a smile on our faces! We look forward to coming back again very soon. Thank you for the great service!

I just wanted to leave a quick review to say how lovely and friendly the staff were. The food was good, what you’d expect from a chain burrito place! But they were welcoming, friendly and considerate so I thought needed a special mention!!

I go to this Toritilla probably once every 2 weeks and honestly think it is the best burrito around. Having been to Chipotle on the Northcote Road yesterday, the two do not compare (Chipotle charge £2 to add guacamole to a burrito!!). Yes the staff can occasionally look a bit bored as other reviews have said but overall the food is amazing, the staff friendly enough and the portion size is great.

I bought some food and the colleague explained me they can’t take the loyalty card to add the points due to COVID-19 situation. And she explained me bring my bill when I visit next time and they will able to scan the QR code for me. The lady served to me her name is Christina. I went to the restaurant today with my bill to add up the points as she explained. When I asked she said she can’t do it. Then I asked what’s the point you asked me to come and add the points then 2 colleagues were rude to me and said you can order now and add the points. And also I said the colleague who served me(Christina) she is here. And one of her fellow colleague lied to me as she’s not here(Christina) I can understand we all are going in difficult time. But my question is why they misguided customers ? What’s the point is keeping loyalty card ? Wasting my time. I don’t want to go to this restaurant anymore.

Ordered a takeaway veggie burrito with grilled vegetables, salsa verde, sour cream, coriander rice, lettuce. In reality I had a rice and bean wrap, and to top it all off they didn’t wrap it properly so it came apart before I’d finished. An absolute disgrace. You pay good money for a disgusting, sloppy mess. I rang the manager and he didn’t want to know, tried to make excuses and told me they were ‘seasonal veg’. Look here buddy, there was nothing ‘seasonal’ about that dirty nappy of a burrito - see pics. Don’t order here.

Visited yesterday 24/8. Entered about 23:35, sat down discussing what food to eat. By 23:45 we were in the queue and a stroppy waitress walked over to the door and shouted they’re closed and we all need to leave. We said we’re in the queue, can we not order our food? She said no, we have to leave. A friendly man serving food said it’s fine and we can order our food. Proceeded to order and she apologised for being moody and said she just wants to go home because she’s worked a 12 hour shift. As I also work 12 hour shifts there is absolutely no excuse for this poor service. As we were eating our food, she continuously huffed really loudly which made an uncomfortable dining experience. As we were leaving she continued to make remarks at us. Food was good, but her attitude was absolutely appalling and tortilla should be ashamed of her attitude.

Literally I don’t even know what I would do if Mariana didn’t work here. I love you. The best surprise burrito ever I felt like I was flying xxxx

My family and I stopped for a quick meal before getting on the train. I am allergic to gluten and asked for the corn tacos. Watching the server make the tacos she repeatedly swapped between touching wheat and corn without changing her gloves. After my brother asked her to remake my food without the cross contamination the lady looked visibly irritated. My dad’s food was then forgotten and when it finally arrived it was burnt. The lady then offered to remake it knowing fully well that the food she had served him was inedible. DISAPPOINTING.

I came here for a late night bite to eat. I ordered a pulled pork naked burrito with guacamole which was lovely. The portion size is good and it's value for money. Quick service too.

It was the first time that I had been in Tortilla Clapham Junction and was in doubt what to order and a friendly staff suggested me the quesadilla. Quesadilla was tasty and delicious. I will recommended this place for the best customer service.

Ordered burritos from Tortilla on Deliveroo. Was quite good but nothing special. Their tortilla chips were good, though.

Good place to stop off for a burrito- choice of medium or large; choose chicken, pulled pork, pulled beef, vegetarian; choose type of rice and type of beans; guacamole as usual is extra; cheese, salad, sauce. Neatly wrapped and put in a basket. Generous fillings, tasted excellent. Very efficient production line and no frills. Good value.

Went for a light snack and had the chicken quesadilla. It arrived in 5 minutes and was tasty and only cost £11 for two Staff all pleasant and friendly

The food is good, The portions are big. It is very good value. My one gripe would be how messy they are to eat! However, I asked nicely and they did find me a plate and a knife and fork.

Brilliant idea, mostly alway fresh, staff lovely and there is a loyalty card! Brilliant! have been going there for the past year or so and eat there at least three times a month.

estado aquí algunas veces, ninguno del personal puede hablar o entender inglés claramente. Tuve que repetirme más de 4 veces y luego aún no me entendieron.

Si tiene que esperar su tren en Clapham Junction durante más de 20 minutos y tiene hambre, literalmente salga por el lado de la "calle principal" de la estación, gire a la izquierda al final donde está Sainsburys y este lugar está a la izquierda, así como ni siquiera un minuto en la calle.

Tuve un burrito de carne y fue muy decepcionante. La carne era muy grasos y en partes no podía separar lo que significaba que tenía que sacar la carne. También fue muy aguada y sin sabor. No volvería a este tortilla

Dissapointed to see the vegetarian option is basically replace any meat with guacamole. Having said that there are plenty of fillings and a generous portion at a reasonable price.

We had breakfast at Tortilla at Shopstop, St John's Hill, London on 7th May 2016. There were two options. 1. Breakfast Burrito for £3.00:- Soft flour tortilla stuffed full with sautéed potatoes, sliced chorizo, Scrambled egg, black beans, cheese and salsa.2. Breakfast Quesadilla for £3.00:- Soft flour tortilla stuffed full with sliced chorizo and grilled cheese served with salsa on the side.We tasted both options. Both are really delicious. Well worth the quick breakfast for that price. Highly recommending to all the food lovers and travellers.

Great burritos, not much room to sit when eating in, loud music can be a bit irritating - have only eaten lunch there, which is a good experience. Enjoy either the pork or chicken burritos; fresh ingredients and "built" in front of you. Usually friendly staff, who typically are fair and consistent with portion control.

Although the queues are a little bit on the long side, the wait is definitely worth it. Firstly, you chose what meat you want - be it, chicken or beef, then you chose what rice and other fillings to go in the burrito. A bit pricey at around £6.95 but it is truly delicious. Tortilla also offer a wide range of tacos and quesadillas as well as nachos which could be washed down with any alcoholic or soft drinks - well worth visiting if you're in the Clapham Junction area.

Delicious food, although my partner did get a bit of gristle in his burrito. We ordered take out & it was ready very quickly even though it was a Saturday night.The food was amazingly good, I would order from here again. If you are collecting, you can park around the back of the station for £1.

Been here a few times and the burritos are good, consistently. The staff are nice too. Definitely filling burritos, had the large ones. Yum. The nachos are also pretty good.

Fast service, fat burrito full of yummy stuff. Variety of meats available, burritos or salads, and plenty of ingredients to choose from. Be careful of the frozen margarita as it will give you Brain Freeze if you guzzle. It's not fine dining, but great for quick lunch, or to line the stomach before heading out for a few beers.

Non è un vero e proprio ristorante, io lo definirei un locale fast-food dove vendono ‘solo’ tacos e burritos (si può scegliere tra Medium e Large) ma personalmente apprezzo questo cibo e trovo che spendendo il giusto (farciture ‘tradizionali’, se si vogliono aggiungere altri ingredienti si paga l’extra), ci si può saziare a lungo, molto a lungo viste le porzioni abbondanti.Personale incredibilmente efficiente, locale con pochi posti a sedere ma caratteristico (quante bottiglie di birra alla parete!); puliti sia i tavoli che il bagno (occorre chiedere la chiave ai ragazzi al bancone).Non è la prima volta che a Londra pranzo/ceno in un locale simile e trovo che, soprattutto quando si viaggia da soli, sia l’ideale.

We eat from here at least once a week after work, super convenient right next to the station and home is only a 5min walk away so it's perfect for takeout. I love being able to customise my order so that its just perfect for my taste, quite a few options but once you get your head around your favourites is simple quick and service is always very friendly. My go to is the naked burrito (in a box rather than a wrap), with tomato rice, pinto beans, mixed peppers, chicken, sour creme, cheese, mild sweetcorn salsa, lettuce and pay extra for the guacamole, it's worth it! All the ingredients are fresh and tasty, I'm not one for spicy hot food so the lack of strong flavours suits me fine. Grab a bag of fresh tortilla chips and I'm good to go! It's not a super cheap feed, but I'm happy to pay for the consistency, good service and fresh tasty ingredients as a weeknight treat!

Fairly cheap customisable Mexican food but lacking the real flavors. There's no coriander or fresh tomato flavor coming through. The meat has no spices. Love Mexican food but just wanted more flavor. It's all a bit bland. Still... cheap, fast and fairly healthy. But did I mention it's bland?

Quite pricey for fast food but tastes nice and there's usually an offer on beer for eating in. Recommend.

My friend and I visited Tortilla for a mid week lunch.The restaurant is well appointed and moderately decorated. Lunchtime patrons were mainly local office workers.We ordered our food and drinks at the counter, our order was fast assembled, paid and took our order to a free table.As for the food, we both had burritos filled with shredded beef, rice, veg., salsa,sour cream and guacamole.The Burritos tasted excellent.I would recommend Tortilla Restaurant to my friends.Ron Ben-Zvi.

I love Mexican food. I love customizable food. I love food with flavor. Why does this place make me yawn? Flavorless. Great service, speedy, ok price. More spice!

Sadly the delivery did not go very far (boo!) so I had to travel in-store. However, it was very quick and the staff were friendly. Menus were everywhere and you get to choose what you want. The take out packaging was cute and convenient staying warm and nicely presented. Would go again!

The food at Tortilla is always great no matter the branch and the staff at Clapham Junction are excellent, very friendly!

Ordered vegetarian burrito and vegetarian salad with all extras including the free guacamole. Delivery turned up. Burrito had no guacamole, no hot sauce, no jalapeno peppers, no sour cream or cheese. The salad had cold barely cooked onions and peppers, no hot sauce, no guacamole, no jalapeños... Was a box of lettuce. Ashamed, as the one in Wimbledon and westfield were lovely. We also phoned the Clapham store to tell them our order was wrong and they proceeded to hang up on us.

If you like Mexican style burritos this is fab. You get to choose what goes in and made to order. Would definitely go back.

Visited with friends for some a late night food. Was surprisingly good. I ate the tacos with beef and one with chicken. They use fresh ingredients, it tasted pretty good. Nice staff as well.

Popped in here for lunch today and was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this Mexican food to go. You can eat in, but I was in a hurry. The interior is attractively decorated and it is very conveniently located, just outside Clapham Junction train station.I ordered the flour tacos, two tacos with Barbacoa beef inside and a plethora of lovely additions; like salsa, guacamole, cheese and hot sauce. It was delicious, although I wish they would do minced beef, instead of shredded beef, as I prefer the look of minced.Very friendly staff as well and reasonably priced, means I have no hesitation in recommending this chain.
