Chipotle Mexican Grill in Wandsworth

Ordered a chicken burrito, which had everything but chicken. For a £13 burrito, you'd expect a good amount of chicken. However it was just rice and beans and little tiny bit of chicken. It tasted fine but chicken was very less.

was served by a rude short woman with glasses and brown ratty hair she was blatantly disrespectful, no work ethic and seemed to be extremely unprofessional and rude towards me and other customers while ordering. I shall not be returning

Too expensive for the quantity and quality of the food

I placed an order through Uber eats and wanted to cancel it immediately after reading some reviews here. Luckily I was not able as our food was super tasty (chicken burritos and tortilla chips with salsa) and portions were generous, thank you.

We are a family of 6 and order from Chipotle in Chiswick once or twice a month. I have to say the food used to be pretty good but it has really deteriorated and their service is appalling. At least 50% of the time we get a delivery there are multiple things missing - I ordered 5 meals, 2 large chips and 1 guac on Monday. One meal, 2 large chips and the guacamole didn't make it. I then have to call the delivery app provider to request a refund of missing items but if I reorder, I'll be charged another delivery fee. You can't call the Chipotle branch as no one answers - you can leave a message but they do not respond. In short - they can't fulfill and order properly for half the time and don't bother even trying to do customer service. I'll be looking for alternatives going forward as this was the final straw.

Overall, I left feeling unsatisfied and frustrated. Chipotle used to be my go-to for a quick meal, but after this experience, I'm reconsidering whether it's worth it anymore. If you're looking for generous portions and attentive service, you might want to think twice before visiting Chipotle. The brand has lost its mojo.

Ordered takeaway via Uber eats. For the second time in a row my cheese quesadillas were inedible with no flavour and barely any cheese and the guacamole was missing again. Last time my husband's veggie burrito was good, this time smaller than usual, also missing it's guacamole and seemingly they forgot the fajita veggies which was the main filling and the salsa. This was a second chance order and sadly we will not be ordering from them again. Terrible experience.

Great for a quick and nice lunch with friends , nice fresh salad and dips . Staff was amazing and helping. Everyone was cherished .

Not even one star! This place is a shame of Mexican food with tasteless foods which tase just plain salt and not to mention the unskilled staff who ruined the whole experience. They have no clue what they do. I’m wondering whether they have ever attended any catering course or training. They have no idea what foods they offer and how to “serve”… I asked what kids quesadillas and burritos come with as the menu does not state any details. They wrapped up exactly the same things for my kids although I asked for the two different foods. A tinie tiny tortilla wrap with some meat and cheese then, chucked some sides separately in a paper box. They have no idea what Mexican food is!! I would serve my dogs’s food with more respect and higher quality… On top of that after ordering for my kids they made us pay and asked us to queue again to order for ourselves when we mentioned that they forgot our two burritos.. my kids were sitting on their own at the table while we had to queue again and make our order again because they have no idea how to use even the till! The staff is unskilled and clueless regarding customer service and hospitality. Pricey lesson learned and will never return and don’t recommend to anyone who wants to eat REAL Mexican food. This is not the right place for sure! Avoid!

Was yelled at after asking for double meat that I was willing to pay for. I was shouted at and told that “you don’t know the portions maam stop asking me for things” and constantly huffed and puffed at although I was asking for something that is on the menu. He then decided to roll his eyes and kiss his teeth at me. This is the employee called UDAY KUMAR. Heavily feel like this is racially targeted as we were majority black women. Terrible service. EDIT: emailed the general manager Elizabetta and she stopped responding. lol

Ordered the 3 tacos, the server just slopped what I wanted to to the tacos, no care whatsoever. Do they have training on how to serve and presentation? It seems standards and service have dropped dramatically at the Chiswick branch, as it was never this way before, Very poor

I usually go there for lunch and it's pretty good usually. This time I tried using the new app and ordered quesadillas. None of the contents matched what I ordered. I asked for chicken, I got beef, I didn't ask for cheese and it was filled with it. I also ordered chips and it was more salty than the Atlantic ocean

Ordered a trio of Tacos which were cold, the chicken was lukewarm. Flavours were tasty. Carried on with my day and come the early evening had a bad stomach that has carried on till today...

Rubbish system, accepting order at night but they have axcuse that is closing time when you go for collect. Food taste is average. But sometime you have to remain hungry due not to get your order. Therefore, think twice before order it.

Just don’t order online from here you spend £19 on blow which is more on delivery services ie just eat and Uber then in store and they basically send you no food smallest amount ever. If you guys had a phone number and that you picked it you differently would of heard from me

Guy does not know how to roll a burrito… do they even receive basic training?? Juices spilling everywhere and they can’t even put my burrito in a bag without making a mess… how do they expect me to eat it? Extremely dry and salty chicken. Chipotle in the US is a million times better… disappointing

Please stay consistent with your portion sizing. Just because the customer is not present when ordering online, doesn’t mean you should send them a half empty box.

I was passing by and I saw Chipotle Mexican Grill, didn't even know there was a store in Chiswick. Delicious quesadilla with chips and guaca🥑mole. Highly recommend. U smashed!

We ordered a take away from this outlet via a third party. Only a quarter of the items were delivered. I attempted calling them 4 times. The number was diverted to an answer machine. I left 4 messages and no one called me back. The food that was delivered was good, but not very warm. Very disappointing. Mistakes do happen, but the fact that no one called to apologise and offer a refund was unforgivable. Service is everything in these situations.

Entered the place at lunch time and was surprised how many empty seats there were, but soon found that there’s a reason why. My burrito came with traces of the meat and the sauce. It’s basically dry rice and a salad wrapped in a paper. I’ve ordered chips on a side and got no sauces for it either(nor was I asked whether I would like to have some). I’ve tried food from this franchise previously in central London and don’t remember it being this disappointing. However I have to say that the team working there is very friendly and that the restaurant is very clean (which is not a surprise since it’s empty) and has a good atmosphere. I will not be coming back though.

I ordered a chicken burrito with chips and chicken was completely cold and not well cooked and raw i did ask if I can have something else instead the guy said I can’t get it especially i ate just two bites of it. I asked for the Manager she was another story which i can’t even say it in a google review, anyway i do not recommend this brunch

Got a burrito. The tortilla was average, Little to no meat, the buritto was basically just rice,cheese and tomato squeezed together in a mediocre paper like tortilla. For 8.65 i could go to a different place and buy a whole meal with a drink for that price. Mediocre food + Exorbatant prices make the place not really worth it.

just went back to the counter to complain about the soaked wet tortilla chips, Chinta man in charge said he will not replace them. Totally not acceptable and rude service !

Not only the food it's absolutely terrible they firs charge me 4 pounds extra for 2 topin, (without telling me) for a food of 8,65, after they cancelled it...but I'm looking in my bank account and the had charge me twice!! So I paid 12,50 + 8,65...I called 10 times and lived 2 voice mail and nothing...Incredible!!. . So know I have to spend 6 pounds in underground to recover 12,50....this happens when a big brand (Chipotle) Give the franchise to the first person with money...shame!!

Over priced, stingy portions. Waiting for the steak to be cooked, 5 mins, told it was ready, looked down into the container and could count approximately 12 pieces of small cubed steak, dried out and definitely not freshly cooked. Pointed this out and told that this was a fresh batch and it looked like that because it was a new recipe. No high chairs and the staff aren't the most hospitable or knowledgeable

A bit disappointed. I love Chipotle and the first time I ordered from here they did an amazing job. Today I ordered and the chicken which I ordered double of unfortunately was burnt and very salty. Also it would be nice to have rice cover the whole bottom of the bowl not a quarter of the bottom. It’s almost like because you pay for double chicken, they give you less of everything else. I’m not sure I’ll be going back to this branch again 😕

This is by far the freshest food on Chiswick High Road. Always quick, clean, fresh, healthy with great service. The tortilla chips with fresh lime are to die for!

the location was good But the seating arrangement wasn't suitable for the elderly or disabled so had a difficult time no proper seats...stools but no back rest or arm rest for those wanting the comfort It was minus 1 outside and there was no heating....food was served cold the beans, meat and rice were served cold and also there was microwave to warm the food.....so all in all....won't be visiting again.....

Could not care less about delivery orders: - small portions - extra meat very stingy - they serve reheated unfresh food often, I guess it's not very busy - regularly missing items - regularly adding items that weren't ordered, today they added cheese and sourcream to my bowl that shouldn't have been there - never pick up the telephone AVOID AVOID AVOID.

Unfortunately, I have to agree with the other reviews that the food there is on the expensive side for what you actually get. But worst than the high price was suffering from a violent episode of diarrhea all night long from eating there, this was really terrible. Also, got horrible stomach cramps which lasted hours. I will definitely not return especially after reading one of the review that stated they saw a rat in the restaurant. After how I felt from eating their food, there is definitely an issue with food safety and hygiene.

The worst branch have ever been, the staff is the worst and not able to prepare even anything in the menu. Answering any questions with ‘ I don’t know ‘. I am really curious what they know😄

Absolutely love this place! The UK has some of the worst Mexican restaurants anywhere and although Chipotle isn’t authentic Mexican, it’s delicious and handy and affordable. I live in the North and can’t wait for one to open near me. The man who served me couldn’t have been friendlier. Don’t be discouraged by the hater comments. Chipotle is a welcome addition to the UK. My recommendation is a burrito with your choice of protein, brown rice, black beans, green salsa, sour cream, cheese and extra lettuce. Wouldn’t suggest the guacamole for inside the burrito.

Chipotle in London was definitely much different that the US. I did not enjoy at all. The only thing I like was the chips. My burrito I couldn't even finish it because it tasted funny.

They were out of most items with no explanation. Fine, I understand the place is new and there may be some kinks to work out. But because there was so little in my bowl, I asked if they would give me a bit of guacamole as a vegetable. They gave me half a scoop after discussing with multiple people in the back like it was a big deal. Bad organization, staff management, and service.

I love chipotle and it gets 3 stars on food alone but the ability to actually roll a burrito by everyone there is so bad that it’s where the stars end! #trainchiswickstaff

We've been to a few different Chipotle locations over the last few years and they're quite hit or miss- but we visited this location yesterday and were so impressed. The staff were very friendly and welcomed us in immediately - and they actually took their time to make our food look nice and exactly the way we wanted it. It wasn't rushed and thrown together sloppily with minimal toppings like one of the other times we visited one of the more central locations. This location also had much better seating options than the central locations - plenty of space with comfortable booths. Extremely good value and the food was hot and tasted great. Will definitely visit again.

Love their food especially the burrito bowl. On one occasion I ordered nachos and guacamole, and they did not pack the guacamole, so always check I have my order to takeaway. Have eaten in, it is like a fast food place and not a restaurant to really sit and eat. I live fairly local so tend to takeaway.

The staff in your Chipotle Chiswick branch are outstanding! Very polite, friendly and even wished me a happy birthday. They have a great selection of freshly prepared foods to choose from. We went for the Beef Burrito. Delicious, we’ll be back for sure! Thanks :-)

Food ok, nothing special though

Had an amazing experience. We bought two chicken bowls. Taste was so good and fresh.

Looks great from outside food not the best but ok and if you don’t like eating with dogs or you have allergies to them stay away I don’t think pets should be in a restaurant period because someone always lets them eat of the cutlery

So over servers attitude these days. It’s your job to be polite and patient with your annoying customers but sorry to inconvenience you today (Sunday 5march) The small short chick with black hair and awful manners served me (well at least tried until I had to walk out empty handed). Some people can’t hear very well and don’t need to be treated with bad attitude. As if we are interfering with your evening YOU ARE AT WORK THIS IS YOUR JOB! I’m a very regular customer so the 4 stars are most definitely for the other usual lovely staff who are always polite and not just trying to race through the counter like they are in some sort of race! I must ad there was no other customers in so I was obviously in her way.

Always amazing. Fast, tasty, pretty healthy, great staff, great value. London can't seem to do Mexican food well but Chipotle has the chain model down and so wins hands-down on consistent quality and value. Chiswick location is great, staff are always friendly and make a good burrito.

Big portion. I had delicious pork burrito with a bottle of water and it came to about £10. The venue was empty so there were plenty of places to sit.

Been living in Chiswick for 2 years and never tried Chipotle till today (and I absolutely regret that). The smell of the chicken and spices definitely did the job to make me walk in and try it. Chicken burrito 🌯 was delicious. Place is lovely in terms of music , atmosphere and lighting. (Chairs are extremely uncomfortable though) Staff we so friendly and nice. The place is also dog friendly 😊 Will definitely be back
