With a mix of adults and children the five of us all had a starter and a main. Whilst the service was friendly throughout the whole experience did not deliver.

We have visited Chimichanga several times now before going to the cinema and have always had really great service and delicious food.

Visited on Wednesday after the cinema, fantastic service and great food. Forget about old reviews, head in and make your own mind up.

After reading some of the reviews on here I was a little apprehensive to visit but all the apprehension was not needed! I was completely satisfied with everything. There was a warm welcome on arrival and the table service was excellent. All the staff were very friendly. Matt was our main waiter, his customer service skills were impeccable! He always approached at the right times in a friendly and happy manner and assisted well with all our requirements. The wait time for food was reasonable and the food taste and presentation was beautiful. I had veggie chilli and seasoned fried with a chipotole mayo dip and my friend had chicken stack. Both meals were perfectly cooked. I wouldn't hesitate to visit again and would highly recommend. Thanks guys we had a lovely evening - keep up the good work!

The restaurant is very colourfully decorated I loved to look around!!The waiter / manager was lovey and helpful! We never liked guacamole before but this place made a very delicious one worth to go back, definitely!

Dropped in early on a Friday evening to find an empty restuarant but that didn't matter. Order taken, lights dimmed ! Food and wine served.....Well cooked, tasty and good value. It's a pity there isn't one near where I live as they are streets ahead of all the other restaurant chains eg Bella Italia, Pizza Express etc

Pop in with friends after cinema on tuesday night. A bit quiet when we walked in but on the other hand very nice aproach from the manager and delicious food from chef. Was worth of visit. We'll be back soon.

We enjoyed our dinner at Chimichanga in Southside. The staff were friendly and helpful and our kids enjoyed the place as well. The food was good for the chain, but we thought it could have been even better.

I just recently had my first Chimichanga experience. At the door the manager warmly welcomed.He was the first manager who paid really serious attention to my food allergy problem. He printed me the allergy info menu. I felt so comfortable to check by myself the ingredients. Thank you Marton again! The service was quick, the food was delicious. I looked the guys how they worked. They were the most friendly staff ever. Dedicated to customers. See you soon!

Acabamos de regresar de una salida nocturna con nuestros dos chicas. Estaba muy tranquilo cuando llegamos, lo que nos vino bien. Llena más nos íbamos. Todos nos realmente disfrutamos de nuestra comida y el servicio era perfecto, muy amable, pero no imponer. Disfrutamos de la música. Sin duda volveremos.

Fui con un amigo para almorzar. ¡Nunca más! El de Wimbledon fue muy buena. El servicio era muy lento. Tardaron más de 40 minutos a que llegara nuestra comida. Preguntamos varias veces si la comida estaba en su camino. El camarero sin ir a registrarse, pero nunca nos mantuvo informados de dónde estaba. Él apenas parecían entender lo que estaban diciendo a él. Luego, cuando finalmente no venga se olvidaron de mi plato. La comida era agradable, pero mi amigo era incomible y no tienen todo lo que se suponía. Por lo que envió. No estoy de acuerdo que lo tome de la factura. Incluso comenzó girando clientes ya que obviamente era un problema detrás de las escenas. Otras personas también no estaban contentos. El director se acercó y se disculpó, pero para entonces ya era demasiado tarde.

I had a Sunday lunch at Chimichanga and I really enjoyed it. I had a vegetarian burger with fries and my partner had sirloin steak with fries which he also enjoyed. I must say the fries were really tasty and I enjoyed the halloumi and mushroom burger too. However, it is slightly pricey considering the portions. We ordered an extra portion of fries not just because they were so tasty but because we found the portions quite small. We also had desserts, my favourite part of the meal. I chose churros with vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce: delicious! I also had an Irish coffee which was more like a latte macchiato with whiskey so would not get that again. The restaurant is really nice, big and colourful and also has a terrace with seating and tables but the weather wasn't ideal to eat outside. Upstairs there is also a ping pong table and a bar. Would be nice on a sunny day. The staff were not too enthusiastic but overall the service was ok. It would feel a lot more authentic however if the staff were cheerful Mexican people. Would definitely recommend and go again.

We went off chance and asked if they did gluten free. They do and were very helpful and great service However other non chain mexican places the food is authentically mexican and tastes great. Here they take all flavour away but at least you don't get poisoned.

Good food, good stuff, one of my best diner experience.I recomand it for everyone who is up for a walk in that area.

Staff: Staff very unfriendly, unwelcoming and looked extremely fed up. They did not come and ask us if the food was ok and took ages to bring the bill after asking for it.Food: I did not have an actual meal.Nanchos: i love nachos and have had them in mannnny places, so i thought, i cant go wrong. They were greasy as... they had grease proof paper underneath and still there was grease everywhere. The salsa sauce was chopped up toms and onion with water. Literally! Stingy with the sour cream, even the nacho chips were not nice.Drinks: They served the smallest daiqauri and charged £7 for this. It was literally 3 sips no exaggeration and did not say the sizes on the menu. I have one good think to say about this place, the pina colada was nice and was a decent size.I would not recommed and would never go back again.

Spontaneous visit was not great food well nachos very greasy salsa what salsa the chicken ok tasted better and as for the drinks never had such a small measure that's what it came like of a cocktail strawberry daquari and I don't know if 9.30pm is late for a Saturday night the staff seemed tired and fed up

Love the upstairs terrace, service was fantastic, half price drinks and a great catch up spot before a movie. The food still needs a bit of work, but everything else was spot on.

Me and my partner dropped in with our baby for a quick late lunch. The service was good and we were served by a very friendly guy. I had a chicken burrito which was a bit bland but the churros were lovely.

We were a group of 7 on a Wednesday evening. The restaurant was not very busy, but it still had a nice vibe. We had the Muchos Grande Nachos to share for starters. They were really tasty and the portion size was perfect for the larger group. My husband and I had the pulled pork chimichanga and quesadilla for mains. The quesadilla was tasty, but for my husband, the portion was a bit too small, so if you are very hungry I would suggest opting for a different dish. For dessert we shared the deep fried banana chimichanga. All the mains and desserts had by everyone were thoroughly enjoyed. The service was good - our waiter was friendly and quick.If you come by car, there is a parking lot in the Southside shopping center that you can use. The restaurant is on the outside of the center.If you want a nice relaxed vibe with good food, this is the spot.

I've always passed this place as I normally pop to the cinema, but hadn't had the chance to pop in. Went with my partner this evening and we both loved the ambience and the service from the staff! We had missed the happy hour, but out of good will gesture, the manager offered the cocktails special. The desserts were great but I have to say the cocktails were on point! Will most definitely be back again with more time!

Horrifying Experience!!I was in for a lunch yesterday at the Wandsworth outlet and it was a very disappointing experience. The Service was so poor and very slow, i understand it was a bank holiday weekend but they were very laid back. The outlet wasn't even busy at 17:49pm. First the waiter managed to drop a bit of my drink on me, then our food was literally chucked on the table with no explaining what it was, there was a lady in black, she looked as if you were forcing her to work on the weekend, totally miserable even when she was serving us. i had to remind the waiter Peter about our side plates.The Food, you need a better development team or your chefs couldn't be bothered, totally bland and taste less, we had five starters and they were canapés size, again a total disappointment. Then came the Fajita, no seasoning, like eating boiled peppers with refried chicken breast. i had recommended the place to my family and we had a very bad experience, i am a food blogger and i will include this on my next blog and i will not be recommending it on my twitter feed either. We usually don't fuss about how much we spend but at this instance we wasted our time and money.

This is our favourite place to come every week after work. It's a great atmosphere and the waiters are so kind and welcoming. We come in mostly to unwind after a long day with some nachos and cocktails and the service is always great! We were recently served by a waiter named Sky who was really nice and helped us with our choice of cocktails. It's lovely to see such a smiling face! We'll definitely be back next week for the same great customer service. Thanks Sky :)

Spent a lovely evening here recently with my family. The food was served quickly by a very friendly waiter who was not at all phased by our deliberating over choices and didn't blink when our son broke his glass. The lighting, decor and atmosphere made it a very enjoyable evening. The food was tasty - we all shared a great range of starters and various mains - plenty of choice. Would recommend to anyone in the area for a visit.

I ordered the sea bass and it was horrible. The sides it came with were nasty- old mango salad and purple cabbage. Very disappointing. Absolutely awful food. Never ever go here unless you want to spend £14 on rubbish.

Joined some friends for a get together and drinks. Great 2-1 cocktails after the wait. Wrongly decided to eat there. Overpriced below average food. The salad is a joke. 11.50 ish for a plate of lettuce leaves bits of pepper , a spring onion and a dot of dressing. Added some dry leftover chicken as well to make it look less like a plate with lettuce on it. I never eat in places like this chain texmex for obvious reasons. This proved my point. Terrible unimaginative overpriced rubbish. Just leave when the cocktail offer ends , go across the road to Sainsbury's buy a bag of doritos and some cheese slices then sit in the park. Much better places nearby. 2/10 for the cocktails.

It was mine and my boyfriends date night and we had been to the cinema, so decided we both fancied Chimichanga. I cannot rate it highly enough. The service was incredible, the manager Gabriele was so welcoming and the waiter serving food and drinks was so attentative. The food tasted amazing! We had nachos to share then enchiladas and burrito. We also tried lots of different cocktails and I cannot fault any of them! Will definitely be back again! Popped in with a friend after a trip to the cinema. The menu has a great range and we were really spoiled for choice. Very attentive staff and a nice atmopshere

Chimichanga appears the least popular of three adjoining franchises in the expanded Southside shopping centre fronting Garrett Lane, its neighbours being Wagamama and Rossopomodoro. It's the smallest of the three and took a minute or two for the only waiter working behind the bar to notice us upon our arrival. There is a lunch menu featuring salad burger or wrap. I opted for a chicken wrap with mild chilli (as opposed to spicy or extra spicy) fries; my wife a burger. Neither perhaps as striking or special as the second waiter's blue hair. I enjoyed a beer tainted with rum. Espressos were fine. Apparently the cuisine is Mexican.

At first I was a rather dubious about eating here due to the recent reviews, but after my spectacular visit I will definitely be back. I am fairly local to the restaurant and am a huge fan of Tex Mex food. Myself and a few friends visited the restaurant on a Saturday evening so drinks, cocktails and nibbles were our first priority. We were served by the head waitress or manager who brought us the most amazing mojitos in no time. She had an extensive knowledge of the menu which was very helpful as one of our party had allergies, and she was able to suggest many options for him. Despite being rather busy, the food came in a timely manor and tasted great, with just the right amount of food between us. We ordered a variety of dished and swapped among ourselves to sample the menu with plenty of side dishes. The sweet potato fries are the best! I thoroughly recommend this restaurant and will most likely be back, especially as I now know they do happy hour!

I went for lunch with my friend and her 10 years old son. They have arrived a little earlier than me so after I got in we were ready to order as the little one was hungry. Waiter approached us and took an order for a kids meal and my main. My friend tried to asked him about differences between dishes as she was not sure what to order. In response we heard 'It is busy, we are only two waiters on the floor so I will come back when you will be ready' with not really a friendly manner. There was maybe 5 tables busy, more or less 20 customers in the whole restaurant including kids different age. We have ordered nachos, burrito and a salad. Nachos arrived after 20 mins after our waiter left our table. For our mains we had to wait another 35(!!)minutes. By the time, my friends son was starving and really disappointed. Waiters were both avoiding us when we tried to ask what takes it so long if other tables had their food already on their tables. Surprisingly, Waiter told us that it should be already on our table as well. After we have finish I asked for the bill, waitress informed us that we were given 20%off food. She was friendly after all but our waiter not really and he kept avoiding our table until the end of our visit. Food was okish, a little overpriced but tasty. Service - horrible and I found our waiter really rude. I would not recommend Chimichanga in Wandsworth to anyone. However, I will try different location.

Resorted to Chimichanga as other restaurants were fully booked on Valentines day. My partner and I were greeted and was shown a small table, as the restaurant wasn't busy we requested a booth area to only be told that we cannot have it as it may get busy. (Fair enough, it was my first time going to this restaurant so wasn't sure how well they do in terms of numbers) Our orders were taken straight away (waiters English wasn't so good so we had to repeat our order a few times for her to understand) surprisingly our starters arrived before our drinks, Nachos were okay quite overpriced for what you get. Cocktails were quite nice, to be honest the cocktails was the nicest thing we had. My partner and I opted for the Steak meal (Medium) once arrived the steak wasn't a 10oz steak as promised, and was well done and we also received extra salads which we didn't order. I told the waiter straight away and stated we would like Medium steaks, once arrived we didn't think anything was wrong until we got quarter of a way through our steak. It was rare. As I'm not one to cause a scene whilst other diners are enjoying their meal so I had to explain to the manager that this wasn't acceptable. To end I would say avoid, or if you do go enjoy their cocktails they have a 2-4-1 offer early evenings. As far as food goes I would definitely avoid steak! I have been so ill since eating this!!!

I visited Chimichanga yesterday with my lovely wife and two kids. The waiter named Gabriella took as to the table that we choose. As a starter we ordered muchos grande nachos, the portion was so much bigger than we expected! Waiter came back to the table a few times to ask if we are okay and if we don't need anything more. As a main course I ordered seabass with sweet potato fries on a side, my wife took cheeseburger and kids picked food set from kids menu. Even thought restaurant was so busy that time, we get our food so fast. Waiter was smiled and nice towards us. Food was delicious, and the ambience and music were good. There's not so many places around where you can eat really tasty food and not spend so much money for it. I am sure that we're gonna come back to chimichanga. Deffinetelly deserved 5 stars.

Me and my other half came here for a what we hoped would be a reasonable priced good dinner.We shared grande nachos for starter. Then I had Ribs and wings and my other half had a pulled pork burrito. The food was below average and the portion sizes were significantly smaller than when we have previously visited. Parts of our meals were even burnt. We wish we spent £45 on something else. Although the food was rubbish, the team were really friendly. We have to been other Chimichanga restaurants that were good so we will just avoid this particular next time.

The food is delicious and comes out quick, so your not waiting around long. I came here with my family for my mums birthday meal and it was by far one of the best meals we have had out before. PLUS... the cocktails are amazing!!! Will definitely be coming back here again :)

Came here for my mums birthday and food was to die for, cocktails where VERY good and had a wonderful night. I recommend to anyone who loves. Bit of spice, atmospheric music and a good time.

We arrived service was slow not enough staff on.We ordered 4 different meals , i ordered the Mexican Paella we live in Spain so we know how long it takes to make a Spanish Paella ) 30/40 mins ) the Mexican Paella took less than 20 mins from kitchen to table , so it wasn't cooked from scratch !My good lady had the chicken wings - rack of ribs combo , after de skinning the wings we found that the ribs were cold , WHY weren't they checked before leaving the kitchen.After complaining the plate was taken away , and the wings / ribs were re-cooked.Which took so long , we had to get them to take away.All in all our stay at Chimichangas was 2 1/2 at a push , slow service , quick food and poorly prepared food, not a good visit.Could be better - Could do better

Quick service, staff was always around in case we needed something. Food was lovely. Just what we needed after the movie night.

Non-friendly waiting staff, cold, burnt food and dirty plates! The manager was apologetic and didn't charge for the food that was inedible, but it didn't make up for such a poor dining experience. I certainly wouldn't go to a chimichangas again.

Food was tasty and large enough to fill you up. Can get busy at times which meant that the staff were under pressure which had impact on service I would however go again

It's bog standard if bog standard takes your fancy. The cocktail tasted like there was no alcohol. The staff took long too do everything and our waiter seemed to have trouble taking hours and using the PDQ

This was the my first visit to Chimichanga and I can't believe it's taken me so long to go to one! It was pretty quiet when we went (a Sunday evening) so our food arrived pretty quickly. The food was lovely and there's so many other things on the menu that I want to try so I'm sure I'll be back there soon.The pina colada was to die for!!! The Chicken Mexene was delicious. My partner really enjoyed his mushroom fajitas.... Service was great (if a little over enthusiastic at times) and we left a generous tip as service charge wasn't included.We have a tastecard too so got a great deal.I'd highly recommend this place :o)

I visited Chimichanga on on my way to see a movie at the local cinema. It was fairly busy so we explained to the young waiter that we were in a hurry, where he assured us that it wouldn't be a problem. He explained the menu to us as we were a little unsure and then decided to go for a burrito and the fajitas. The food arrived quickly and tasted great, though the burrito could have been a little larger. Towards the end we had a bit of time to spare before the movie, so went for desserts. We chose the cheesecake upon the waiters recommendation, and we were not disappointed! Overall it was a great experience, and will definitely go again, especially as they do a discount for Ciniworld Card holders.

Was looking for somewhere to get a good deal on Tastecard, and found Chimichanga for decided to visit here for first time. Young man was very friendly and helpful with explaining the menu and recommendations. Good food and reasonable sizes, lots of choice. Wasn't disappointed will come back again!

Potato skins had too much cheese. Nachos ok. Bullet jalapeños ok.Nice to have frozen glass with drink. Weird seeing staff member as waiter then sit down to eat his break! Enchiladas were bland as was the chimichanga.

First visit to Chimichanga was overall a wonderful experience!We were warmly greeted by a young man named Sam who looked after us intently all evening. We were shown to lovely seats set back from the window. Pleasant atmosphere. There was a large menu to choose from and we had the burrito and enchiladas to share between us, food order was taken as soon as we decided and food came after around 15 minutes which we were very happy with. There was a great amount of food and was really tasty and filling. Our waiter made our first visit to Chimichanga faultless, overall very friendly, chatty, warm and helpful. Thanks Chimichanga, we shall definitely be returning soon!

Terrible, just terrible. Should really have walked out when I saw the menu; it looked expensive for a texmex restaurant, but assumed the portions would be generous. Ordered the "Grande Nachos". obviously no-one has told the owners of this chain that "grande" is spanish for large. A truly miserable smallish plate of nachos arrived, with a drizzle of guacamole and a few splodges of cheese. Chicken wings and Potato skins were expensive (£5.79 for three potato skins anyone?)and anything but freshly prepared. Complained to the manager, who was charming and sympathetic, and did much to improve our evening. However, Chipotle have nothing to worry about if this is their competition.

Went there with my friend. We ordered with a waitress who then ignored us for the entire time. We were not given condiments like ordered, we called her over she said "no... Busy... Sorry.. " then walked off and was wandering around. They were not busy. There were 4 people that evening and 6 front staff, yet they all ignored us. We foolishly left a £10 tip, then called goodbye. They ignored us apart from one girl at the bar, and played on their phone and sat in a corner. Never again. So unnecessary and disrespectful. I'm unimpressed. Plus it ain't cheap, and is barely worth it

Myself and a friend had just finished work and decided to try something different for dinner. I had just got my taste card and saw that Chimichanga are now part of the Tastecard Family so thought we'd give it a try. There weren't many people in the restaurant which is always a bad sign but we were pleasantly suprised. The service was a little hit and miss but the girl explained it was her first day. The manager helped her out and was very good. Offering us free drinks due to our 1st choice on the menu not being available. The food was good. I had the ribs which came out hot and the sauce was good and my friend had the steak which he said was good too. The starters were good the service from the staff was excellent and they were very attentive. Overall a very good experience and we will definitely be going back for more. Excellent value on the tastecard.

Food was cold, food looked and tasted like it was from a factory and portions were tiny. Staff were ok but thats about it.

This meal was terrible. Our Nachos came out stone cold. We ordered the buffalo wings and we got 5 pieces of chicken the size of popcorn chicken, they werent wings.Everything about our meals were so disappointing. Its so expensive for what you get.Dont bother!!

Mix di cucina texana e messicana, prima volta che provo questa catena, molto bello l'arredo che richiama queste terre lontane, un pezzo di questi luoghi esportato in tutto il mondo. Assaggiato la carne e ho trovato la tagliata al sangue squisita, la carne nell'hamburger ottima e si sposava bene con il formaggio e le verdure, patti presentati in modo semplice, bella l'idea del tagliere di legno per l'hamburger e il ciottolino in ceramica per la porzione di patatine. Da provare!

Went out for a ladies night on Tuesday before movies. Although staff was super nice and welcoming I must say the food is simply not worth the price. Four stars for the service, sort your food out.

I have been visiting Chimichanga Latin Bar/Restaurant at the South Side Shopping Centre in Wandsworth, South West London for a couple of years now and the entire experience of all my visits is just absolutely sublime and well worth swinging this side of town for :) !!!The restaurant is located in a swanky trendy Shopping Center onlooking the main road and easily accessible by busses and National Rail.The interior is particularly romantic, fresh, and uber-cool Latin themed, suiting both a vibrant salsa bar atmosphere and a romantic modern Mexican feel eatery on the quiet nights.The music they play is absolutely rare, authentic and exhilarating, making U want to jump off your seat and dance the night away or lean on the arm of your companion and fall in love :) !Oh, wait until you see and sample the generous cocktails and the amazing menu ;) !!! Hoped for a good Mexican but totally disappointed. Had the burrito which was toasted to complete dryness, the spiciness was so bland needed a good deal of the hottest hot sauce to make a difference

Well, it was ok. Nothing special but the food portions were ok, the food was nothing special and a little bland but the beer was cold. All in all, probably would not go again and would try a different restaurant along the road a bit.

This was my second visit her woth my partner. Both times visited the food was average food, not much flavour.

I came for 'tapas' a few small dishes and cerveza on tap. Good food, great service. Right next to Southside Mall. Perfect option.

I came here with my fiance a few days ago and we had such an amazing experience. The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, hot and, served so promptly! You could instantly feel the atmosphere was so fun because the teamwork ethic the staff were carrying. Everyone was smiling, interacting with customers and absolutely had their customer engagement on point, something that lacks very much in service these days. Any member of staff who served us were genuinely interested in ensuring everything was ok and to our satisfaction. I recommend this particular store so much as it was a fantastic experience, overall. I'm a massive music fan in restaurants and the music was so good! This has been one of mine and my fiances best dining experiences ever and we look forward to going back! Chimichanga Baby!!!!

6 of us visited this restaurant quite late on a Saturday night. It was very quiet but I think that was because we didn't arrive until around 10pm. The food was excellent and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Wold definitely visit again.

Decided to have a drink and a bite at Chimichanga (have never been at this restaurant before) I wanted to have a cocktail which was not on their cocktail list, and yet the manager of the place was more than happy to make this for me. Loved the staff! - They are very friendly and helpful. Food was delicious and arrived fast. We will be back!

We had lunch her as a party of 7. We ordered hot chicken wings - the wings that were served were same as kids wings - no difference in taste and definetly not hot. When pointed this out to the server, the manager strongly defended saying that we should use hot sauce if we need to it and we should have complained instantly. We had by no means 'complained' but resented being spoken to harshly instead of an apology. Also the Mexican spicy rice served with main was dry, cold and tasted like its days old and repeatedly reheated.

This is my second time a month and I have to say the staff are fantastic the food is so taste and it's a great spot to eat :) cocktails all made fresh to order and relaxing atmosphere :)

I went here with my brother before going to the local cinema in within the shopping centre, so its easy to get to if you want a bite to eat that's different to the fast food options with the shopping centre itself. The food was really tasty and fresh. The staff really efficient, happy, and helpful.I'd be very happy to go here again.

Never been to a branch of this company before and if I had read some of the reviews of this branch I probably wouldn't have come in but I hadn't and so my experience is as a new customer. Drinks and food menu provided quickly and a drinks order brought quickly as the place was quiet. Food order arrived within about fifteen minutes and was enjoyed by all of us. Attentive service provided and the gentleman server checked our food was ok for us, which indicates proper training to me. When we finished we were asked if everything was to our satisfaction and bill provided promptly when requested. I would say we were well looked after and the food was fine. Would recommend this place though I'm no expert as to whether the food is authentic but I enjoyed it and as the bill payer I had no hesitation in adding a tip.

We went to the Chimichanga located at Southside Shopping Centre in Wandsworth, London in mid-January 2016. We couldn't get into one of our favourites restaurants, so we opted to try something different for lunch. There was only one other table occupied, which should have been an indication to us, but we persevered. Service was poor. We were taken care of by a grumpy waitress. The food was possibly one of the worst meals I've had in London. As a new yorker, I was excited to see something close to "Mexican" food open near us, but the food at Chimichanga is not worthy of another visit. Its a shame because the decor is so colourful and cheerful. However, it does not make up for the poor quality of food. Hopefully, the restaurant will close and make way for something delicious and desirable!

Sono stata qui con il mio fidanzato e la mia famiglia, sinceramente mi sono trovata benissimo. Tutti erano soddisfatti. Cibo buonissimo e abbondante. Il cameriere era di una cortesia deliziosa e ci ha spiegato bene e con calma la maggior parte dei piatti sul menù (data la nostra scarsa conoscenza della cucina messicana). Tutto è arrivato al tavolo caldo e molto in fretta. Il dolce era fantastico! Tornerò anche solo per quello! Complimenti. Ci rivedrete presto!

The restaurant is nice but please change the staff , very rude I'm really sorry cause the food was good but I don't come back ever again PLEASE THE STAFF!!!!

The new staff and management have turned this place around and it's absolutely wonderful now! Ignore all the old negative reviews as those are not true reflections of the staff and management there now.We opted for the vegetarian friendly dishes and the manager (lovely European woman) recommended some excellent choices (the enchilada and burrito were out of this world).Service was very quick and we were treated very well.The manager went the extra mile and offered us an array of desserts (the banana surprise is to die for!).Family had a lovely time and we'll definitely be coming back (infact, we're on our way there for lunch now!).Thanks Chimi's!

I have spent the last fortnight trying various restaurants in Wandsworth due to having work done in my bathroom and being moved out of the flat. On Friday night we thought we'd try Chimichanga and it was the best dining experience we've had recently. I know the reviews on here are very mixed but it has been taken over by new management and this has made a big difference. The restaurant was very busy, but we were served quickly by very friendly and helpful staff. The food was fantastic - very tasty and fresh and a lot better than most of the meals we had eaten in nearby restaurants over the last few weeks. When my partner asked for additional items with his meal, this was done very quickly and we were not charged extra. I would highly recommend this place to fellow diners.

£13 for what is at best, a small bland burrito? No thanks. Had to get a large popcorn at the movies afterwards to fill the void that Chimichanga left.

Had a lovely evening with my friend today at Chimichanga Wimbledon. I definitely recommend this restaurant. Great food, good atmosphere and great service!! See you very soon chimichanga!

Nachos were ok, burrito was average and quesidalla was terrible as well as burnt on the sides with too much cheese. Service was too slow as it took almost 30 minutes

Went in a couple of times whilst staying in the hotel opposite. Very good food and service both times. Not much in the way of drinks offering but a few different bottled lagers on offer. Would go again for sure.

We saw some of the previous reviews for this restaurant and we're a little dubious before trying it out. How wrong we were to be worried,very good service and delicious food. Lots of choice ,usual mexican options and lots of other things to try too. Lovely decor,nice warm feel and clean & inviting. We will definitely visit here again and would recommend.

I've read some of the reviews on Tripadvisor about Chimichanga and it made me question whether or not these reviewers had actually eaten at the same restaurant that I had!! I took my wife here for a meal recently and we were blown away by the food on offer. I had one of the Tex Mex burgers which was absolutely melt in the mouth and cooked to perfection with flavours and textures that had my taste buds crying out for more. One of the best burgers that I have ever eaten. My wife had the chicken fajita which was equally divine. The service was slightly lacking though it was a Saturday night and very busy and it is easy to see why they're busy. This place is fantastic and pretty good value too. £45 inc a glass of wine and a tip. Definitely be returning here.

We stopped in here for dinner before the cinema as keen fans of Mexican food. And the food was ok, but the service was really terrible. The waitress that greeted us said there would be a 30 min wait for food - which was suprising given the restaurant was virtually empty. We ordered anyway and the food was fairly slow but the drinks service was rediculous - the first drinks turned up as we were finishing our starter. The second drink my wife ordered never turned up at all. We were asked if we wanted dessert or coffee when we were still waiting for our main course. We needed new cutlery after the starter but it wasn't brought despite us asking, I ended up taking some from another table so we could eat our main. The bill came charging us for a drink that was never served and it took an age to get this removed. Just a shambles, needless to say there was no tip, they appeared to have no clue what they were doing.

What was meant to be a relaxing family meal turned out to be an experience of poor service and poorly stocked restaurant. We must have waited 15 minutes before they came to take our drinks order in a restaurant that was barely a third full. We also ordered a starter for 6 to share at the same time. After a further 15 minutes I had to ask the only waitress to chase up our drinks and she bust in to tears and the manager had to come over. The drinks finally arrived but no starter, a further prompt was required of a different waiter who had appeared for our starter which arrived 45 minutes after arriving in the restaurant.We decided to order the main course as soon as the starter arrived given how long it took to prepare a large tray of Nachos it was a slow process as the waitress who had burst into tears was very nervous and we had to repeat the order 3 times. Five minutes after placing our order she returned and said they had no chicken or beef, leaving only pork options left and this was a 6pm on a Sunday night. I cannot believe what poor stock control so we had to go through the order process all over again.The main course did appear in a reason time, well 4 out of 5 did and we had to again to point out to ask the waiter we were missing one of the main courses, clearly they had forgotten the order, a further 5 minute wait for that to turn up. We must have been mad but we decided to order desserts and they did turn up in reasonable time, well again 4 out of 5, again requiring a chase up. By this time our table was full of empty glasses which were not cleared away.The manager was clearly aware of the poor service and offered us a free shot of tequila, 10% or so off the very expensive bill would have been more appropriate. We will never return to the restaurant or the chain and I would advise anyone who expects better service than this to do the same.

We had a reservation to eat at Chimi Changa in Wandsworth this evening....when we got there we told the waitress and she just laughed and said "it's empty you don't need a reservation, just sit anywhere" so we chose a table and sat down. We waited 10 minutes for a menu but nothing...tried to get the attention of the staff but it seemed like they were deliberately avoiding eye contact with customers just going back and forth between the bar and the till...so we got our own menus from the bar (presumably they should have given them to us when we sat down). We then waited 15 mins for someone to take our order. The restaurant was empty so I have no idea why none of them managed to come over. After 25 minutes they hadn't even taken our drink order so we just went somewhere else. Absolute sham although on the plus side we went to frankie and bennys in southside, had a really good evening with excellent food, cocktails and service!

What to say - a sort of "does what it says on the tin" restaurant. Food is fairly predictable. The waitresses were good inspite of it being very busy. The busy meant there was a problem with our food order but the waitress admitted the problem and was happy to offer us a complimentary glass of wine while we waited. I couldn't complain as they were very large glasses!Food was as expected - plentiful, hot and tasted pretty god.

Went here during half term as we were staying in the Premier Inn opposite, got Tesco Clubcard vouchers beforehand (4x value, got £50 of vouchers for £12.50 of Clubcard points).Same owners as Prezzo we realised afterwards (having visited there the night before). Service was pretty good, food was decent and staff were friendly. Kids meals were decent value, wife had a steak sandwich and eldest daughter had a paella style dish, both of which were decent platefuls. I had a burrito which was a bit on the small side. Desserts were pretty good, but similar to Prezzo (we realised afterwards why).Drinks were typical restaurant prices. Wouldn't have liked to have paid full price, but vouchers made it decent value.

Possibly the worst Mexican food I have ever had. Who has ever heard of a burrito that is crispy because it's burnt and the rice is pathetically scattered outside it? I could count the number of black beans! The wings, oh the wings... Just 3. For £5.95. I knew it when I saw the nachos. Burnt. Possibly because there's so little of them on the plate. Drinks are overpriced. Good thing they had the sauces on the table so I could flood my pathetic excuse of a burrito with enough sauce to make it worth my while. I should have gone to the restaurant next door...

We chose to dine here on a whim, choosing chilli prawns, nachos grande, steak fajita, bbq pulled pork burrito. followed by honeycomb smash and churros. There's nothing exceptional here, the chilli prawns were tasty but the nachos grande were a pale replica of what you would get stateside. Not enough cheese and not enough density. the chips were spread out across the platter, more like doritos than tortilla chips - it appears that the ingerdients for the nachos are a bit on the stingy side especially since this dish is almost £11.

Visited with a colleague, was impressed by the size of the portions, we ordered a paella and jerk chicken dish. Staff was very attentive and friendly. Food arrived quickly and tasted great. Would definitely visit again.

Went here with a group of friends. Food was yummy. I had the steak wrap with chips, I had calamari for starters. We used an online voucher code for 30% off which made a big difference. Food took a while to come and would take long to get us any sauces or extra drinks. nice atmosphere and location to parking/buses and shopping centre.

I live near this restaurant and pass by it every day and every day it's empty not only in the mornings but in the evenings also.I received a 40% off voucher and my husband suggested that we give it a try. There were no time restrictions on the voucher, only dates when we could use it.When we came to the restaurant, that was empty again, and showed the voucher to manager, he suggested that it's only valid until 5:00pm and that we can't redeem it. To be honest, we were quite hungry and were thinking that we could stay and eat there anyway.However, the manager was very rude and very unhelpful. He didn't apologise to us, on the contrary, was very defensive and just went away in the middle of conversation. So, of course, we felt very unwelcome and had to leave the restaurant.Our advice - don't bother going there. There are so many other restaurants in the same shopping centre where they are happy to see customers - go to one of them instead!Here is the text from the voucher we tried to redeem - no mentioning of timeings:"This unique code is good for a single use. As its a chain I wasn't expecting much, and I realised that it was understaffed - only 2 wait people working on a bank holiday Monday. Another table walked out after being unattended for so long.I was waiting for at least 15 minutes for someone to approach me, to no avail so I had to approach the waiter for my drinks order. My nachos were forgotten and only when I asked where they produced - it was a very small portion, not worth it. I had a veggie chimichanga which was yummy, and luckily not burnt!My friend ordered a quesadilla and 2 prices were very charred, as was my friends burger. All in all I wouldn't waste my time or money unless I had a voucher.

The staff were rude and very unhelpful,they messed up our childrens orders and told us it was our fault.Both adult meals contained crunchy/hard rice in our normal rice and when we asked the manager she said it was where the old rice and new rice had been mixed! i sent my meal back as i lost my appetite after and was still asked to pay for it at the end!I have never had such a bad dining experience!

We waited 1 hour to get a meh and very expensive dinner, we won't go there again. Service was good, but I think the kitchen is understaffed.

Had never been here before but it is conveniently located near to the Premier Inn where we were staying and was perfect for the type of meal and evening we were wanting.Being a Sunday night there were plenty of tables so was no need to book.We found the service efficient. The staff weren't the friendliest nor warmest but they did their job and the food made up for it. Found there was a good choice on the menu.I had a chicken fajita and my mum had the chilli. We both liked our meals. Neither were overly flavoured but was tasty and generous portion sizes.Thought it was very good value for money considering it is London. Two main courses and two diet cokes; £31.

Went on a Saturday evening, it was fairly busy but not packed full. When we arrived the waitress was very slow in acknowledging us and finding us a table. My boyfriend immediately went back outside to make a call during which time I patiently waited for someone to bring over some menus. For the next 5 mins, I watched as the waitress who had taken us to our table served other people, took them dessert menus, wiped tables etc. She had obviously forgotten about us, and didn't come anywhere near our table for me to get her attention. There were also two other staff (one of whom looked like he may be the manager) came to serve other customers and again there was no acknowledgement of me sitting at an empty table. By the time my boyfriend returned to the table, I had decided that we would not be spending any money in this restaurant. We subsequently went two doors down to Rossopomodoro and had a lovely Italian meal and received fantastic service. Would definitely not go here again or recommend to others.
