We had a voucher from our kids to go and enjoy afternoon tea at the tearoom, which we got Christmas 2021. We rang to book (which is recommended) and looked forward to the experience. The drive up to the tearoom is very quaint, as it leads to a yard belonging to the farm house. Once inside we were greeted by a very friendly, laid back gentleman who made you feel at home right away. We enjoyed a complimentary prosecco (part of the Christmas afternoon tea) and enjoyed our surroundings. The sandwiches and cakes came beautifully presented and a quick explanation of what was on the table was kindly given. All the cakes, and pastries are homemade and they were absolutely scrumptious. The coffee was top class and refills was offered as well. I would gladly recommend you visit and enjoy the atmosphere and great food. You will not be disappointed.

The friendliest Tearooms in WALES. I didnt visit much with previous owners, a frosty welcome is all you were guaranteed of back then, but when it changed hands we again visited & are now regulars, even having our own table ! Whenever family come to Wales they always ask me to book a table at the Tearooms! The food is all Homemade & good value, menu to suit all tastes - & the BRUNCH menu very popular when we visit on a weekend. The personal friendly touch makes you feel VERY welcome Warm, welcoming, friendly, homely & great food ! - I could go on & on.........A family member, wife & young son travel almost an hour now to go there Looking forward to the Open Mic nights coming soon

Absolute gem of a find. Not just for eating but the location is also worth it. The cost of coffee is cheaper than your high street Costa coffee and the taste of cappuccino was so great I had to ask for second. This place will now be my go to place for cakes and coffee and escape from any stressful day. Thank you for giving us the most welcome feeling.

We often visit here for Afternoon Tea as the welcome is always warm and the food has that certain "je ne c'est quais" ... we have hosted family parties here also with children who adore the surroundings. Also great for a restorative cuppa and a home made scone or slice of cake. The owners and their staff are engaginh and very helpful. A great find.

Can't recommend this place enough. Booked an afternoon tea for my wife's birthday, they put confetti on the table, a banner on the wall next to the table and gave the birthday girl a cupcake with a candle. SO cute and unexpected! The tearoom is cosy and comfortable. Staff were all very friendly & approachable. Afternoon tea was HUGE & delicious. Everything was fresh & tasty. Well signposted and easy to find. We will definitely be returning when we're in Wales next! Thank you! 😊

Stayed a night in our campervan in the field on entrance to tearoom. Lovely wee site. Yes toilet is a distance away but didnt take away from the camping experience and nice setting. Loads of animals to see. Owners lovely and accommodating of our late arrival. Peaceful with only a few other people staying. Would reccommend and stay again!

A hidden gem amongst the farms. We happened to have found this as we had a day trip at the National Botanical Gardens and wanted some tea. The owners were friendly and the quality of cake was one of the best I've had anywhere, that says alot from someone who doesn't have a sweet tooth. Even in a remote place, they had COVID-safe precautions which is great to see. I'd go there again if I'm around the area. I would suggest updating Google maps as we got a bit lost and ended up in the neighbors driveway. Luckily the neighbors immediately guessed we were looking for the tearoom so he told us the directions.

Wonderful!!! Went here with the family after finding it on Google. The owners were very so friendly. We arrived late in the day, but nothing was too much for them. The kids had milkshakes delicious, I had a ploughmans salad and we also had the homemade quiche, again delicious!! Victoria sponge, bakewell tart & cookies were also exceptional. We really enjoyed the hour we spent here, homemade food and the drinks made it. Thank you and we'll be back

What a wonderful find, so glad we decided to come here for afternoon tea. Lovely home made cakes and scones. We booked in advance and asked about concerns as one of our party is allergic to strawberries. They advise they would be able to make changes to meet our needs. They phoned us back a short while later to confirm that we were ok with the changes they had come up with. We had a lovely surprise when we arrived. It was a lovely little building in a tranquil setting out in the countryside with friendly staff. We chose to sit out on the deck on a lovely sunny day. The service was fantastic and the home made sandwiches and cakes were delicious. Nothing was not too much trouble. We had forgotten to mention that two of our party were vegetarians, they managed to make changes for us. We had to ask for a doggy bag to take home as the was so much we couldn’t eat it all. While enjoying out afternoon tea, we were greeted by Freddy the feral cat that the owners found when they moved into their home next door. He was such a lovely friendly soul, greeting us all and joining us for afternoon tea. Once we were ready to leave Freddy escorted us to our car to see us off. Can’t thank Freddy and his team enough for a lovely afternoon. Can’t wait to come back next year.

What a lovely place. Really welcoming. Clean and tidy great atmosphere. We had two small breakfasts and a couple of coffees. There was oat milk for the coffee just like I like it. Good value small breakfasts cooked to perfection. Gentleman who served us advised us to keep to the coast road on our journey to Tenby and we were glad we took his advice. Recommended.

Cash only, so we had to leave, probably money laundering. Took us ages to park, and the catering supplier was packed in the disabled bay which made it very difficult for me and my partner. Disabled bay had no margin around it, and awkward angle.

We've been lunching at The Warren for a good few years, typically 6 visits a year. Like many restaurants, prices keep rising but they face challenging times, especially with energy costs. Without exception the team members are great as is the food. The best thing is the menu gets a regular refresh, important when the choice is limited. I prefer a limited choice to an extensive one where food is mostly pre-prepared and warmed in a microwave. At The Warren, the food is always freshly cooked. Everyone we've taken has enjoyed their visit and always want to go back. Unfortunately my near-empty wallet has to ration these treats. Update March 2025 Just made our first visit for 2025 and what a disappointment. This is a review I never expected to write. After all our visits over the last decade, everything today was poor, including the food. I can only assume the business is suffering. Lots of changes! The first thing we noticed was the absence of table service. Now you have to find a table, order food and drinks from the bar and pay up-front. To be fair, the drinks and food are delivered to the table but I really don't like this arrangement in a restaurant. OK for McDonalds or a pub but not a restaurant! Next, the menu is pretty sparse, just soup for starters and a choice of three mains. There are snacks and a couple of "brunch" options, but nothing like the choice we had before. And no desserts. I used to love the sticky toffee pudding or chocolate brownies with Conti's ice cream but they've all disappeared. Just cakes from the bar, not even listed on the menu. It's turned into a self-service cafe! Then my meal. I ordered the Pork Open Sandwich. For £13 I got a few pieces of overcooked pork, dark brown and leathery, covered by what looked like melted cheese, The menu refers to "smoked rarebit". It arrived piping hot as if it had been prepared earlier and warmed up in a microwave. I know this sounds harsh but I've never had a bad meal in The Warren and everything used to arrive, freshly cooked and tasty. But not today. My wife's sausage, egg and friend mushrooms on sourdough was OK but nothing special. Deri cleared away our plates and asked if everything was OK. I felt I had to tell him it wasn't and that, after all the years of enjoyable visits, we wouldn't be coming back. Too much has changed, in our opinion, for the worse. We loved The Warren for the food, people, service and atmosphere. The people are still good, but a lot less of them and although the atmosphere is the same, the usual buzz was missing. But the most important part - the food - isn't as good as it was. As for service, that's now down to the customer! What a shame. We always took our visitors to The Warren and they all enjoyed it. And I've always voted for all the awards going. Alas no more. A sad day for Carmarthen as The Warren was a real gem.
