ABSOLUTELY AWFUL SERVICE!!!! Do not order. Incredibly slow delivery it took over an hour and it still didn’t arrive. The person I spoke to over the phone was incredibly rude and disputed that I was telling the truth. What a waste of time

I'm an American trying out pizza in RTW. My target is pan pizzas because they are my favorite. The staff was super nice, easy to work with. Took care of me on a hot summer day. The pizza crust was good. Nice and crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside. Maybe a tiny bit on the oily side. The pepperoni was OK. The cheese and sauce were just about perfect. Good flavor on both. Thank you!

Top quality pizzas, even the sides. My favourite sides are BBQ wings and spare ribs. I did try their jelapenos poppers. Unfortunately, they are very anemic, nor crispy. Apart from that one of the best pizzas in town!.

The delivery driver had been driving around without road tax or mot for a month and still hasn’t given me his details or paid for the damage to my car after he hit it.

No option to give 0. One of the worst pizza stores in the UK as they don't know the meaning of customer service. Guys, please double-check your order if you collect because they lie about your order. I ordered a Tandoori lover and a half(bbq chicken) and a half(peri-peri lover) but they gave half and a half the correct order and peri-peri lover instead of the tandoori lover. I checked the order after reaching home and called them straight away. The lady tried to convince me that they gave me the correct order but later she ended up saying they give same toppings for both tandoori and peri-peri. I asked her why do you keep different names when you give the same toppings, then she confirmed saying that they don't have tandoori chicken available for today so they are using the same toppings for both peri peri and tandoori lover pizzas. She even failed to answer when I asked her why they couldn't mention that while we were ordering. If you don't want to ruin your lunch or dinner plans, please avoid ordering from Turnbridge Wells' TopsPizza.

Food ok but a shame that the delivery driver didn’t leave his details after he smeared his car against mine which was witnessed. Probably didn’t have insurance or the ability to cover the repair costs considering his car didn’t have road tax at the time of the incident

Most of the negative reviews are because the delivery company not the pizza place. Pizza is average quality, do not expect much. Garlic bread is basically toasted white garlic bread from Aldi, could have made it better. The man who worked there was nice though (hence the 2/3 stars for him).

The driver who couldn’t find my address phoned my mobile. He was defensive and rude over the phone and he carried on with this disrespectful behaviour in person too… arguing with me, the customer, about my address! I won’t be ordering from this restaurant again, I was so appalled with how he spoke to me.

'Tops Pizzas' more like 'Flops Pizzas' we placed an order with these cowboys at 7.30 and didn't receive our order until 9.15 when it did finally arrive our sides were wrong, Pizzas was wrong and the drinks wrong. We phoned up and complained and they said the only way was to get our money back was for the driver to come out and pick up the food or take the food away and then separately send us out our correct order which would then take another 45 minutes!!! The guy was so rude on the phone, he said he'll call us back and then heard nothing from them so had to call them back again. Terrible service if you can even call it service!! Won't be using again and will be spreading the word about the shoddy service !

I called to ask where my order was as I hadn’t received it even though it read delivered. The human I spoke to over the phone said it was my fault I didn’t get my delivery and when he started to use endearing words, I asked that he stopped but instead but instead he asked me why and further stated I didn’t know the meaning of ‘darling’. After several calls between the shop and the delivery man, I found my meal at a different address missing some items. I called back to let them know some bits where missing but they were adamant it got delivered. Not only was I left a cold meal, my orders were incomplete. Very shorty service!

We been ordering from them before and was happy… Today we ordered again and unfortunately the pizza been horrible… firstly we been waiting an hour and 15 min . Pizza arrived cold… the pan should be deep but was thin… garlic sauce tasted like mayo not garlic… the pizza been sliced in thinly little pieces with around 3cm each … obviously not cutted to the end … terrible experience… maybe the cook change or something but will not order from them again

I can not explain how disappointed and rude this company is, we are away on a weekend away and we didn’t get our delivery then when we spoke to them they did not care at all and have left the food in the rain outside a random house! Absolutely useless

Ridiculous. Waited 3 and a half hours for a just eat delivery. Pizza was cold and 2 blokes turned up extremely unapologetic. Could’ve walked to Tunbridge Wells and back in that time. Disgusting, artery blocking meal. They still charged us for the delivery fee!!!

My fiancé and I were staying at the Luna Domes on the 27/10/21. We tried without success with various delivery companies, to deliver a takeaway to our dome. We tried Dominoes pizza in Tonbridge TN9 to deliver to Luna Domes at TN8 postcode, but Dominoes said "No too far" we then ordered with Tops Pizza, which were a whole 22 minutes away from Luna Domes. To our amazement, Tops Pizza delivered our meal within the time frame quoted. Their friendly delivery driver went to the effort of phoning to locate us, and to top it off, our food was still piping hot! The pizza's came exactly how we ordered and were so delicious. Thank you so much Tops Pizza 🍕👍

I actually owe them an apology for calling them because i thought they made a mistake with pizza sizing, they hadn't, it was me....i am so sorry! That aside, they delivered a superb service! Food was on time, hot, exactly as described and tasted wonderfully! Will definitely use them again!! Highly recommend!!

Me and my partner ordded a pizza that was due to be delivered at 11:30 its now 2 am and still no sign of the pizza we rang the restaurant 3 times to be told its on its way no appolgy just told to wait .. this is by far the most appuling experience ever . The restaurant is now shut and won't answer our calls won't be coming back here again especially after this appuling experience very quick to take money from us aswell Don't run a restraunt if you can not be bothered to turn up and deliver the food.. sort it out and give our money back its disgusting

Have ordered from here a few times when ravenous for some late night gratification. It’s really not amazing but it fills a hole and is one of the only late-night places to order from when you’ve finished a long shift at work. Albeit due to being absolutely famished at which point anything will taste passable, Tops Pizza is normally quite tasty & enjoyable. However on this occasion, after waiting just under an hour for my order this evening, I thought I’d call just to see what time the food would be arriving. To my surprise, the bloke on the other end must’ve thought I was a different (equally as hungry) customer and aggressively told me to stop calling them. He said he’d already told me it would be an hour so I need to stop phoning them. I explained it was my first time calling, expecting him to realise his mistake. No such luck. He hung up and here I am, still waiting. Next time, I’ll make sure I’ve got a couple of pizzas in the freezer to just bung in the oven. Will likely be tastier, cheaper and certainly quicker. At least the oven won’t tell me where to get off if I ask it how long it’ll be.

Great tasty pizza, ( can’t fault it) however last week my order was 35 mins late, (there a 2 mins drive down Camden road) Tonight there already 15 mins late. I always get told “ there just about to leave the shop” but I’ve never know a takeaway to take so long! You need to sort out the delivery times

Honestly, the worst pizza I've ever had. Order turned up 2 hours after ordering, and it was stone cold and the pizza was like cardboard. Really poor service and not impressed.

The worst pizza and shocking customer service! Ordered a pizza, read over the ingredients list 4 times to make sure there’s no meat in there. Ate a slice before realising it did have meat. As a vegetarian I wasn’t best pleased! Having called Tops Pizza I was told that it was my fault and was hung up on! Incredible! The pizzas we ordered tasted like cheap frozen pizzas so wouldn't recommend either way.

Food was cold and awful. Even got the order wrong. I called to explain and they said it is not their problem. They obviously can’t read a note stating what is required. If i had an allergy it could have been far worse as they even admitted they did not read the note. Bunch of halfwits.

The food is always lovely from Tops pizza.. it's the only place that will deliver to our house and they travel quite a distance to get to us, so we understand that the food isn't always the hottest, but that's not the fault of Tops pizza.

As a vegetarian I ordered a “vegi hot” which one week came with pepperoni on and this week chicken! Clearly someone at Tunbridge Wells tops hates vegetarians and we had to go without 🙄. I have a picture of this and will be contacting tops directly

Worst place to order pizza for ever

Order took an hour and a half to arrive, and when I called after an hour or waiting, I could tell I was reminding them to actually make my food, and then it came half an hour after that. ( Even though they said 'any second') really disappointed and barely apologised. Hate to sound like a Karen but it really needed to be said as it was beyond a joke with how long it took.

We ordered a pizza on their website at 6pm on a Friday night. After an hour and a half we called to ask where the food was and we were told it would be here within 20 minutes and were offered a free drink to compensate for the delay, with no explanation of why it's taken so long. We're still waiting 1hr 50mins later. Won't be ordering from them again any time soon.

Similar to the other smaller pizza chains, does not taste good as if it was fresh. AND THE SERVICE IS APPAULING! I waited a few weeks for a refund on an order which was never delivered. I understand everyone makes mistakes but at least fix it.

You would think with businesses struggling with this Virus that they would welcome our custom. But Tops you have excelled yourself. Bought from Tops for years but our delivery of two pizzas was not a pleasant experience. My wife's pizza tasted stale/moldy, but no replacement no refund not interested, Discusting.

I selected for the mustard mayo to be removed from my hotdog pizza, and i even included it in the notes at the end...however it still turned up with it...this meant i was unable to eat this particular one as i’m not allowed mustard Furthermore it states with the current situation there is contact free delivery...it says the driver will ring your phone when they get there and leave it in your designated place...i asked for it to be left on the doorstep The delivery driver instead knocked stupidly loudly on the door (not knowing who was inside...for all he knew it could be elderly people who that would have frightened, or a sleeping baby which that would have woken) and insisted on handing the pizzas directly to my fiancé...no distancing at all! I usually enjoy Tops Pizza but this particular experience has been rather poor for us!

I love pizza! Sometimes I’m in the mood for Dominos and other times something more bespoke for toppings. Tops, quite simply is like shop bought pizza brought to your door. Save your money and put one in the oven yourself.

I Ordered from Tops pizza in which they had messed up my order and when i contacted them they told me they would not refund me or give me the proper order even though it was 10 minuets away, i had then emailed them twice in which they have ignored all my emails. This is disgusting service to not even refund myself for my food in which i did not receive and to not even apologize or anything! Would not order from Tops pizza if you do not want food poising and late deliverys ( over and hour and half) and dealing with staff which wont help you and are rude down the phone.

Problems occurred with the order for which they took no responsibility, I.e they delivered the wrong pizza’s which at nearly £80 is a complete joke. Have been on the loo ever since with what I suspect is food poisoning.

ordered online before 6.30 to be delivered at 7.45. Just called at 8pm for them to say it is now leaving and will be another 10 minutes. Disappointed considering the time beforehand given for my delivery to be on time.

Ordered the Califorian and the BBQ chicken wings. Wings were just wings with a tub of BBQ Source and the sun dried tomatoes and spinach on the pizza were taken from a jar you could taste the oil :( Stuff crust was alright but the garlic bread was rock solid wish I had just put a pizza in the oven.

Terrible worst pizza I’ve ever eaten

I found a fly on my pizza me and my daughter were sharing. I called Tops to resolve the issue and they offered to send out a new one, I told them that I wanted a refund and felt sick now and they were more than welcome to collect the order they just hung the telephone up on me! Luckily I ordered through deliveroo and they are investigating into the matter further so I hopefully get my £20 back for the pizza we had two slices out of 🤢

It is one of the only pizza places that delivers to my home but they are always late and the pizza is really greasy and not very nice.

Please avoid this pizza place, after receiving my food I complained as my curly fries were cold and soggy, I rang to see if I could get a new portion but I was told that this cold and soggy food was how it comes and that then I was threatening him by complaining. Never again will I buy from these as they have no customer service and wouldn’t even refund me £3 for the chips. All other food was hot and good but due to the managers for attitude to my complaint I will never buy from tops pizza again!!!

Definitely 5 star! Ordered a meat lovers pizza with bbq base with intention of saving half for tomorrow's dinner but it was that nice it's all gone! Fantastic service well priced and turned up in half an hour as I was told, very happy and will be ordering again in the future thank you.

Got a takeaway from here and I must say we were really impressed with the meat feast well packed and importantly the delivery was on time which made us happy as we were really hungry

Love tops pizza and will order again but when you pay for extra jalapeño and order a deep pan but a thin Base and no jalapeño on it turns up its poor customer service. Expect better next time

The food was too greasy, also wasn't what I was expecting, although what was eaten was tasty. Very dissaoointed that the delivery driver asked for cash when it was paid for by card, also didn't receive the bottle of drink that was part of the deal.

Food arrived 45 minutes late, after contacting the store we were told the delivery driver couldn't find our house. Could have at least called us instead of the main store as I had supplied two numbers. Pizza was nice but cold and a bit soggy as it had been sitting in a box for three quarters of an hour! Would have been nice to have some discount or the pizzas free for such bad service.
