Lots of people told me to try this place for fish and chips , now I don’t know if that was a joke or not, came home chips was nearly mashed and the box full of oil , the wings taste horrible !!

I go here regularly and I love the chicken I would say the hot wings are one of the best I had but the chips are just not up to standards I think they should have an option for thin chips or I'll continue going to the kebab place right next to it to get my chips. The prices are quite good.

I never received my order !!! The staff didn't understand English and did not offer no help !!

This is the worst place to get chicken and chips. man said raw chicken and ketchup that taste sour and sweet. had to spit it out on the bus 💀. theres a co-op down the road ibeg go buy ketchup if ur gonna give raw chicken. i want my 4 pounds back.gave my food to the birds lets hope we dont see them dropping dead soon or im finished

Food is very over priced for what it is, staff were too busy chatting amongst themselves to deal with customers and even after spending a decent amount of money in the shop still got denied a takeaway container

Good kebabs. We order a large lamb shish and a small lamb donner. Flavour was good, it was well cooked and the salad was fresh. The in house chilli sauce was good.

Odered on uber eats, Chicken shish meet was raw and had blood in it, the guy on the phone started to shout that there ir no possability and how dare me to say that to him.

Today my family and I ordered food from this fast food restaurant via uber eats. When I received my order and tasted my Chicken shish (LARGE) the meat was undercooked, raw, bloody, hard. I called the restaurant at 18:25 (07/01/2023) and the employee was very unpleasant, angry. I told him that my food was undercooked with raw meat, and he said to me that I'm shouldn't talk nonsense because their food is always cooked, he spoke angrily to me, refused to recook my food for free. It ruined the mood for the whole Saturday. I have never seen such an angry employee. I hope someone gives him a warning. I will NEVER buy from this restaurant again even though I have bought often for almost 4 years! Disgusting working people with undercooked food.

I don’t really get the good reviews. I ordered on Uber recently and everything was tasteless. Chips were slightly undercooked, no flavour. Fish … no flavour. Batter … no flavour. How do you make batter with no flavour?!! I would avoid

I have been to this place for years and they serve the best fish and chips they Evan have a kids menu if you want your kid to get some food I definitely recommend it!!!

Not sure why everyone gave 5 stars... Old oil used, not good standard Got chicken, fish and chips. They're very oily, you can taste the old oil, they're refried taste and overall dry taste and the colour of the food are darker, not fresh... God know when they change their oil....won't be coming here again sadly

Horrible. I have ordered here before i was disappointed so i see that they got the good badge on ubereat so i stupidly order. Chaiii. It's like they refried all chicken and reuse it. The chicken colour is black instead of golden.everthing is horrible and I spent almost ;£80 so disappointed. Never again

Love the chips, pies. (Lamb doner meat and chips with lettuce, onion, cucumber, lemon squirted all over it, with bbq, mayo and burger sauce is UNREALLLLL. Love it! I live in Woolwich and always order from here! X

Food is delicious, good portions. Only advise is speak up so they can hear you a bit more when you order.

The food was horrible are be honest the chips was undercooked never tasted chips like that 🤮🤮 I ordered 2 drinks that they forgot to put in the bag for fish and chip shop the fish was okey the size for a medium was pretty good!!! But the undercooked chips and drink missing ruined my meal

Ordered via an app. This is the second time that i have ordered from this restaurant and after waiting an hour, my order wasn't delivered. I didn't ask for an explanation the first time but today, i was informed that a driver had been assigned and was waiting at the restaurant but the restaurant had to 'cancel the order due to some reason'. If they were not going to accept my order in the first place then why make me wait over an hour? Why waste my time? I could have ordered and recieved food in that time span. TOTAL TIME WASTE. Will NOT be ordering from here again and I used to be a regular customer, ordering both online and actually going in store ti get food too. They have lost my business. DISSAPOINTED.

Great fish shop in Charlton village. Reasonable prices good size portions and polite service. No its hard to park nearby but it is in the village so that's expected and it is covered by deliveroo should you feel lazy and want it delivered to you. But I personally would recommend you buy some and sit in Charlton park on a summer day.

After my local chicken shop closed down we didn’t have anywhere else local and tried here. Foods always been good quality, fairly priced, very clean and tidy shop too. Chips are “proper” fish n chip chips and the hot wings are spot on! The other half loves the chicken wraps and kids never complain too 👌🏻

I went here for a quick lunch last week with a few others. I had a chicken burger meal and was fairly happy with what I got for the price. The burger was pretty good and I liked getting chip shop chips with it as opposed to French fries - they were very good. The only little negative is that this is one of those places that aren't that generous with the sauce. I had enough but the rest of my party wanted more and they started to charge them for what is effectively cheap burger shop sauces.

We had a large cod from there on the evening of Tuesday 16 July around 9 pm after my son had football training in Charlton Park. It was the worst smelling fish we have ever had. It smelled sort of funny when we took it out of the paper wrapping and seemed to be OK to eat (we didn't get sick) but my goodness - the stench in the car won't go away. Sweaty teenage boy smell goes away - but this fish smell does not. Either the oil the fish is cooked in isn't fresh and quite possibly the fish was really old too. We have had to get an air freshner for the car and it is bad enough to drive me to write a comment about it. Maybe go here for the kebabs or the chips and the other things people complement, but not the fish.

I love this place they are so good everything is always on point. They do delivery now too which is such a bonus ☺️ Chicken wings are the best in South-East London, better than kfc!!!!

Travelled here esp because they do Peter's pies but I may have been served a Peter's pasty but a cornish one it was not I don't know if the recipe has been changed but the shape was wrong the pastry was wrong and the filling was overly peppery the chips I was served were dry as the saraha the only good thing's were the buttered roll and the blue slushie

This is THE BEST!!! Chicken/Fish and chips shop in CHARLTON Variety of menu for such a place like this.The Staffs are very nice and friendly.The place is clean compared to other CHICKEN/FISH and ships shops HIGHLY RECOMMEND everyone to go and grab a bite here

This is not just a Traditional Fish Bar but you can indulge in a variety of other fayre such as Pies,Chicken,Ribs, Wraps, Burgers, Kebabs as well as the Traditional favourite extras such as Mushy Peas Pickled Onion or Gherkin etc. They provide Medium and Large portions as well as OAP portions. One can eat in situ 8 places as well as take away or even obtain telephone orders. Drinks are either cans or bottles of fizz as well as milkshakes Tea and Coffee also Hot Chocolate. They offer Meal Deals as well as Family Feast. This is a mega find Fish and Chip Bar which offers much more also has excellent prices . We have eaten our fish and chips there which has always been cooked while you wait so it is nice and crispy freshly cooked a delight for all those fish Friday eaters. I have not tried any of the other meals but hope to do so. The fish menu is astounding Cod, Rock, Scampi, Skate, Haddock and Plaice not many other places offer such a fish variety these days. The opening hours are Monday to Saturday 11am to 11 pm and Sunday And Bank Holiday 12 to 9 pm.

I've got food from here for years and never had a problem but today I am more then disappointed I asked for kebab donner meat to be burnt as I can't eat meat unless burnt home cooked or takeaway when I got home my meat wasnt even cook at all I don't think I literally was that hungry I put the meat in the oven to cook it I am so not happy
