Tony's Fish and Chips in Liverpool

We always go here when we fancy a chippy tea, lovely staff. Always lovely food, never warm ups, spotless place. And never had any complaints off the kids. 😁

If I could rate them 0 stars I would, genuinely horrible. I went at 8pm and ordered a chicken curry and egg fried rice. Why did I do that ????. The chicken was undercooked and squidgy and the curry was like hot water well not even hot. Don’t get me started on the egg fried rice. It was an egg ontop of rice. I threw up 20 mins after eating it. Don’t go unless you want to cancel your plans for the next week. This place is a breeding ground for food poisoning.

Disgusting food crispy chicken no chicken at all just batter like toffee rice is awful all stuck together tasteless never again

Nice takeaway very friendly always come here for chips and a takeout every now and then. On this occasion I ordered 3 meat green pepper, king prawn and mushroom and gravy and chips with sausage Just got a pie dinner most recently 👍

I went there on Saturday around 9:15 and was disappointed with the customer service I received. There were quite a few people inside waiting for their food and the lady behind the counter looked stressed. She abruptly shouted "no more chips" at me because she didn't want to take any more orders or cook more chips. I mean, have you ever heard of a chip shop that has run out of chips? No apologies either, so I had to walk to another chip shop further away. Very inconvenient. Been buying my takeaways here for the past 2 years every week, but I won't be going back.

Really good and cheap with friendly staff. Was shocked how good the food was and how low the price was, would definitely go again highly recommend.

Ordered special Singapore vermicelli , the noodles were watery , not enough salt , the meat where so massive chicken and pork disgusting wouldn't recommend!!!! Waste of my money

fancied the regular sausage chips and gravy and was greeted with chips that looked fresh out the freezer, the sausage looked like a wrinkly knob and the gravy was like jelly. wouldn't recommend

This was the best chips shop I have ever been to. First of all chips were amazing and they were really good value for money. Lady was very friendly too! We will be back

Gravy was a disgrace, Peas were like marbles. Chips weren’t even that nice. We Waited ages for the food the food and weall felt sick after looking at it. Do not recommend at all.

Not great, chips are not very nice, curry was watery, the salt and pepper chicken is NOT what the dish should be not crispy and just tasteless. The chow Mein was not pleasant, too many people stood inside especially for covid times.

the grave was horrible and the chips are luke worm and when you go bye it DON T GO IN

I used to like this chippy but for over the years it's going down the pan! The gravy is disgusting, the fish is nice I had chips bbq sauce felt ill after it I've stopped going there shame used to be a lovely chippy.

Chips were ok. No cod. Only served a fish that no one has ever heard of. The gravy could be the most disgusting thing I have ever eaten.

Tony's is legendary in this part of Liverpool on the Edge Lane, Kensington border. Incredibly affordable prices and the Salt and Pepper King Prawn is super. All main dishes with Chips or Rice (50p extra for fried rice). They do a lunch special for £3.50 a good Chinese dish with Chips / Rice ...... Beat that.

This chippy has been there for decades, recall going when I was 11, still serving great meals ,and quality , you may have a little wait but everything is made fresh as ordered QUALITY
