Greggs in Liverpool

Had a breakfast at 9am, the pastry was cold, asked the staff if they have anything hot and the response is we will have to wait for 20 minutes. The staff's attitude was cold and didn't really bother. She also seemed charged the pastry and coffee seperaly rather than charging the meal price.

Up,out and about on overcast and rainy day ,typical June weather in the United Kingdom, my twin brother and I were walking down North John Street when we decided to drop into this Greggs outlet, been here before, always had a positive experience and so it proved on our latest visit. A good looking Greggs outlet, interior is light and airy, glass fronted serving counters showcase the goodies on offer and staff here are just super, really friendly. We ordered a pizza slice each ,service was quick and pleasant, we enjoyed our pizza slice which was just so tasty, full of flavours ,just what we needed to kick start our day ,really enjoyed our visit here ,its easy to locate along North John Street and well worth checking out if you're in the mood for a quick bite to eat.

Staff hate their jobs, service is VERY mediocre

Best Greggs on Merseyside, staff are always professional and friendly when I have visited, food quality always excellent. Would highly recommend.

To everyone reading this review - what colour is a slice of margherita pizza? Red and yellow you say? Red and orange? All good answers. You should be able to see the yellow/orange cheese and the red tomato sauce. However, I got a take-out margherita pizza from this establishment and guess what colour it was? Black! Whoever was responsible for cooking up the pizzas that day must have had the oven on too high, which sadly led to a cremated pizza being served to me. If I remember correctly, the other margherita pizza, lying lethargically behind the counter, was also burnt. The pizza itself tasted OK albeit not as good as pizza from other Gregg's establishments in the area. Ironically, it was also quite cold. Burnt, cold pizza - what is the world coming to?! Overall, I wouldn't discourage a visit here, but if time is on your side, I would recommend walking a little further to Liverpool Central railway station, which has a much better Gregg's with excellent staff.

An institution throughout the UK, Greggs outlets are to be found everywhere, walking around the city centre heading to Mathew Street to hit a few bars and pubs I stopped by this Greggs along North John Street, although at the moment its forbidden to eat in I couldn't resist purchasing a few sausage rolls,the best sausage rolls in Liverpool in my opinion, staff nice,service quick and price great value for money, I devoured my rolls in no time at all ,loved them ,so tasty, this Greggs is easy to locate along North John Street, if your in the area well worth checking out.

Because of Covid-19 you cannot eat in yet here so it is take away only. It is what it is a basic butty joint and you get what you pay for. A Tuna Crunch Baguette for £2.85 .... a lot of bread with little filling and very chewy ...... but then it is cheap. I would rather pay more from an Indie deli or M & S for tasty quality.

Cheap and cheerful. Having had a good breakfast at our hotel that morning we just wanted a quick snack. We had tea and sausage rolls. Both perfectly acceptable and at a reasonable price.

We this greggs for the first time and we were very impressed a good selection of sandwiches and pastries and anice cup of coffee ideal place to go if you want a snack and a cuppa the staff were really friendly

Visited Greggs North John Street today. Very helpful assistant made me a roll, fresh and with food on it I can eat, as I have an ulcer...so no mayo etc. It was her suggestion and nothing was too much trouble. Fantastic service, helpful friendly staff and great lunchtime food! Thanks...very much appreciated.

Large Greggs, plenty of seating, toilets.. Bacon and sausage roll and cappachino for under £3. Great value

Trip Advisor wants a review of a Greggs so without any irony here it is... As a place to quickly grab a sandwich, pasty, sausage roll, cake or other lunch it is just like pretty much every other Greggs I've ever been to. There are fancier sandwich shops. There are cheaper sandwich shops. Greggs sits somewhere in the middle delivering a reliable, if boring, experience.

I'm reviewing Greggs! Seriously! They must be the same everywhere. I don't actually use Greggs often. In fact, this was the first time in over 5 years. Quick, cheap,easy..... it ticks boxes when you're on the go. A sausage roll and a potato n meat bake served swiftly and politely. The guy told me to take care as they were very hot. Great service. Greggs rocks!

Fuimos aquí para conseguir un pastel y tenía un par de cupones para café gratis también de promoción de Islandia, comimos y lo pasamos de maravilla con el personal amable y un bienvenido descanso antes de ir a las tiendas, calidad como de costumbre fue excelente y la relación calidad-precio era excelente x 2 pastys, x 2 buenos cafés 3! ! ! 3 no puedo equivocarme con ese precio, ¿verdad? ? ?

Lo siento pero tuve que revisar este lugar. ahora las cosas buenas primero. la viejecita detrás del condado encantadora. los bienes amorosos pero ahí es donde termina. . el estado del lugar es desagradable. Fui a tomar un café y un donut. Bueno, terminé dejando el café. el piso parecía como si no hubiera sido barrido en horas, el piso parecía necesitar una buena fregona. las mesas no habían sido despejadas ahora lo siento, sería una joya si estuviera limpia. . pero parece que esta empresa tiene la misma idea que otros menos personal, pero todavía esperan que el trabajo se haga. estás en el centro de una gran ciudad consigue algo de personal y deja de pellizcar. y ahora todos no estaban en el almuerzo, ya que estamos 2. 30 de la tarde. no hay excusas . nunca volveré a usar Greggs

Al ser nuevo en Inglaterra se ha convertido en una grapa Greggs para mí cuando tengo frío y necesita de una buena comida en una prisa. Recomiendo el bistec de quingombó, ya que es una comida abundante y consistente. No comer en Greggs romper el banco o que lo hace incluso mejor.

No tienes que pagar £10 - £14 para un desayuno de hotel. Gregg ofrece abundante comida básica, para tan poco como 3 libras, que incluye el filtro de café o agua. Puedes pedir tu sándwich de elección en el mostrador, recogiendo en su elección de pan y luego agregar los huevos y/o carne. Hay una amplia selección de salsas puedes añadir también, aunque no probamos. Estos sándwiches son muy abundantes, así que tenlo en cuenta si tienes planes de almuerzo. Además, este particular Gregg es un 50% de comida para llevar y comer en el 50%.

nice cheap food, stake bakes lovely. They have good deals on all the time. If you need a little snack this is the place to go.

I have developed a taste for their veggie sausage rolls, they are delish. Very reasonably priced too so I now call in when I am passing.

This Greggs is more spaceous than others and offer you some places to sit. It is very handy - in a good central location.

Great coffee and good pastries. It was convenient to our hotel and had a bit of something for everyone in the family.
