Tony's Coffee Bar in East Hertfordshire

The coffee here is delicious, and the staff were so incredibly friendly and welcoming! The only let down was the 50p charge for milk alternatives and the lack of vegan options on the food menu. There are plenty of sandwich choices for meat eaters, but it would’ve been nice to have a plant-based option to enjoy with our coffee. Hopefully you guys can add some meat-free choices in the future!

The team at Tony's are so welcoming and friendly, despite not being local myself I could see that this a local favourite, staff knew the majority of the customers by name so clearly a lot of repeat visits and it's easy to see why, I ordered The Tony Special which was absolutely delicious and a flat white that hit the spot. Even though it's not local I'll for sure be back.

I've only had a croissant with my coffee. But it was very nice. The coffee is locally roasted and is excellent.

'Greasy spoon' doesn't do this justice - it's a traditional sausage-sandwich type of place, but with much higher standards of food. The chef and wait staff were really welcoming and made everyone feel like a local. The decor and seating is somewhat on the basic side, but don't let that put you off the coffee and breakfast here.

we walked in and the lady behind the counter (an older lady with glasses) took my boyfriend’s order, and gave it to her coworker, ignoring me completely. She then proceeded to help the next customers in line, still without even looking at me or acknowledging me in the slightest. Finally, after my boyfriends coffee was finished I got the chance to speak up and try to order my drink while his coffee sat on the counter getting cold. To make matters worse she handled the ice in my drink with her bare hands right after touching the register! I have never felt more disrespected in a place like this. Won’t be going again.

I come in Everytime I stay at my partners and need to commute. Always so friendly and welcoming. Today I had an unusual request of as “fast as we humanly can” as I was later than I thought. But Tony delivered me a coffee in and out the door in 2 mins! Love this place 💚

I regularly visit with my wife, and also when i’m walking to the train station prior to work - really good coffee, the food is consistently good and nice people who own it. My only constructive feedback would be that I’m still being called ‘sir’ after exchanging names, maybe that could be relaxed a bit, but it’s born out of strong customer service.

This is a man who is assimilate about his most excellent coffee. A most excellent short visit with a well priced baguette or two to boot.

Drove from Potters Bar to Ware, based on great reviews for the coffee. Was not disappointed. Great coffee! I had two flat whites and will certainly return. Can easily recommend. Friendly staff, fair prices, perfect coffee.

Never disappointed every time we come here!! It's a regular each weekend either when we want a bite to eat when we pop into town, or when we want an iced coffee after our Saturday morning run. Great food and drinks, and always served with a smile and a friendly chat!

Service is always perfect, feel like I am welcomed as family rather than as a customer! Food is always on point, my fave is the Salami + Mozzarella panini, but they have plenty of options for meat eaters and vegetarians so you will not be disappointed! Main compliment I can give this place, definitely the best coffee in town, go treat yourself ☺️

Me and my husband love this place. Great quality products, welcoming and very friendly owners who are passionate about food. It is also a nice location in the new high street. Great addition to Ware. Hot panini and baguettes always have best sourced ingredients, and I also highly recommend to try their homemade baklava.

Happy to see the coffee bar back again. Great sandwiches, excellent coffee and friendly and efficient service. I got a takeaway sandwich but there is seating indoors and out if you want to sit and enjoy your food.

My favourite coffee shop and also I love the sandwiches. So glad you guys have reopened again. Have missed those coffees and Greek baguettes you guys do as well. A staple of our community in Ware. Welcome back and i'll be seeing you for my weekly Saturday visits.
