Loved the food, had pasta and the flavours were just amazing. The staff welcoming and giving that personal touch. And their deserts are extra special.

Lovely atmosphere. We were in group of 9. Were served by Claudia. Food was very nice. Will definitely visit again.

The meaning of Tonito: do not go here. One of the worst pasta dishes I’ve had at a restaurant. Why are you giving me a whole can of cream? Could barely find the pasta swimming in there and when I did the poor old bland pasta was soggy. Nothing wrong with the service but on food taste alone I suggest avoiding.

The best best ever restaurant in Hatch End. I feel I'm in italy. Thank you and best of all it's at my doorstep. It 100% value for money. Food is exceptional, potion is very generous and value for money, no brainer. You don't know until you have tried when food is cooked with love for every person that attends this gem of a restaurant. A true diamond. Thank you for giving us so much joy and happy memories everytime we dine here.

My favourite restaurant in hatch end! Food is amazing and Tony the owner will make the food to suit your preference-I can’t express how good this restaurant is and the waiting staff are out of this world too, so please give it a chance-you will not be disappointed!

My son wanted to celebrate his bday here as last time we visited he had loved the food and ambience. We ordered his fav salmon , chicken and pasta ! The food was delicious !! The deserts are amazingg to my fav is creme brûlée and Tiramisu that they serve. The host was so welcoming and cordial too.

I bought two takeaway pizzas from this restaurant, it was my first time. I was very surprised, it was the best pizza I've ever eaten and it was also well fried 🙋🏻‍♂️

Had dinner at Tonito for the first time yesterday. Some tasty dishes and authentic Italian. Perfect for a relaxed meal with family and friends for pizza / pasta... Decor is basic and Atmosphere was extremely noisy to a point where you can hardly hear each other at the table. Another party had a birthday meal...but bringing out their cake resulted in a very loud Happy Bday track being played. The volume was so high, that it interrupted everyone's evening and the singing dragged on for far too long...The staff need to manage this so that they can celebrate for a small table, but all the other customers can continue to enjoy their evening. Additionally, I was surprised that the entire restaurant was empty by 9.15, except our table of 4...our mains had arrived at 9.15...so there was no atmosphere, and we felt we couldn't order desserts as the restaurant closes at 10.30... Although good food and service, not sure I would rush back...

First of all, thanks for accepting us so late (21.30) on a Saturday evening. Very friendly staff, in a relaxing atmosphere. The portions are huge, even for the children for a very good price.

We had booked a table for 6 of us for Mothers Day yesterday, Our starters were given to another table and after about 2 minutes it was realised by the staff that they had given our starters to the table behind us so promptly apologised and gave us our starters, some of us had smoked salmon and avocado and whilst we did not complain some of the smoked salmon was discoloured. Our main meal came and there was hair in the Sea Bass that my mum had ordered. We called the waitress over immediately who checked with the kitchen then came back and offered us the same order or to place a different order. I cannot recall if there was a 'sorry' at all so wouldn't want to lie but I don't recall. 2 of our table ordered the Sea Food Linguine which obviously included Mussels. 3 of the Mussels were closed and once we finished our meal we brought it to the attention of one of the waitresses who said she would check with the chef. She came back and said that the reason why the Mussels had not opened was because 'there was not enough heat'! My mum said that the Mussels should not have been put in the meal and the waitress replied back saying that 'it was only 3'! Can you believe it - justifying and acknowledging the closed Mussels included on the plate but said it was only 3 as if we should not complain. I asked for the bill as I just really wanted to pay and go and on top of it all they did not even offer to give my mums dish as complimentary which is what a decent restaurant would do after finding hair in the first meal. The meal was below par, tasteless and the waitresses have no clue of what customer satisfaction really is. I would definitely not recommend.

We took advantage of their early bird deal and it was amazing. Each dish we had was delicious and full sized. No small portions on the deal. Would definitely return.

We always love the food at Tonitos. You can't really go wrong and the food tastes fresh and authentic. Been here a few times in the last couple of years. Service is great too. Would recommend!

Me and my wife ate at Tonito's for lunch there today.We selected dishes from their 2 course set menu. Unfortunately,was not a happy eating experience.We ordered 2 pasta dishes for starters the penne and the Ragu spaghetti.Mains consisted of salmon for my wife and sea bass for me. Both starters were a complete write off.Both pasta dishes were well overcooked and tasteless. Pasta Sauces were liquified and in the case of the Ragu spaghetti had a 1000 tons of salt in it.Putting excessive salt into a dish does not makes it taste any better,does it? My wife's salmon fillet was a disgrace and was virtually off.Smelled bad and did not taste good and again had lashings of salt in it..This mains was literally fit for the bin and instead of being binned it was served on her plate.All the vegetables from both were prepared garbage,probably sitting there from the day before. The only decent bit of 4 courses were the 2 sea bass fillets from my mains meal.At least they tasted good-so out of 4 dishes half a dish was of the required standard-that is just not good enough.On top of that the restaurant automatically add a 10% service charge on to the bill for their disgusting food. No idea what their more expensive a la carte menu is like but will not be trying that-once bitten twice shy. I cannot recommend eating at Tonito's as the food is poor.That is 3 Italian restaurants in Hatch End that we have tried on their lunch time set menus.All 3 have been substandard -including Casa Mia and Donna Theresa.The local Wetherspoons offers better food than these 3 restaurants.

Tried the early bird menu. The food flavours is good but nothing special. The pasta seemed fresh and tastey. Chicken liver pate was average. Lanb shank was nice and filling. Excellent value.

Good food, friendly enough service, and pleasant restaurant inside (doesn’t look like much from outside but internal decor is nicely done). Good variety on the menu, for both vegetarians and meat eaters alike.

Nice little local Italian. Staff friendly. And welcoming. Ok so the portions are huge. I couldn’t finish mine. The Food was tasty particularly the baked gnocchi with aubergine. I’ve seen a few more dishes I would like to comeback and try.

The best Italian food in Hatch End (infinitely better than overpriced and poorly owned Minori). Friendly staff, fantastic food and great portions with reasonable prices for a change. Definitely worth the visit!

Portions are big but could do with being more flavourful.

Some friends recommended this place to me so I went with them. I was not disappointed. The decor is good. The staff are very friendly. The food is excellent too say the least. I had the Parma Ham with melon for starters and Spaghetti Bolognese with Veal Escalope for main course. The food was very tasty and the portions were more than satisfactory. The bill was also very reasonable. I will definitely be going back there again and have already recommended it to many people. Update. Went last night again 10 June 2022. Tony (the chef) and the staff were amazing. They looked after us in style. The food was absolutely fabulous. I had the pizza for main and I can honestly say, the best pizza in a very long time. I won't bore with the details but suffice it to say, this place is now at the top of my list of places to go.

This is not an Italian restaurant. The name itself "Tonito" is clearly not. The waiting staff speak Romanian between them. Nothing against it but this place is not an Italian restaurant.

The service here is perfect! Everyone is so nice and the food is delicious, they also decorated the place very well! 10/10

Fish served raw and sent back Carbonara simply awful and inedible )which should be a “safe” choice in an Italian restaurant) Rest of food just average No acknowledgement from staff despite food being sent back and not eaten No adjustment to bill….. Won’t come back

Me and my husband we live in Northwood we try almost all Italians restaurants around area . Ruislip Pinner Northwood Hills etc but almost with all we been disappointed , so We said let’s try this new restaurant from hatch through deliveroo and and we ordered buffala pizza, spaghetti Frutti di mare and lasagna beef, it was so delicious and so freshly and big portions . my son eat it all the lasagna and he is just 18month old . We been so happy with food and always we will order from them. Thank you to the chief who cooked our food for tonight you are amazing chief. And all the people around areas l recommend highly this restaurant.

Great food, friendly staff, good value on the early bird menu

One of the worst pasta eaten ever. Quantity of pasta is big, but the mushrooms on Alfredo very small. Bacon was not cooked entirely and left in big chunks - this is how a carbonara with extra bacon looks like. The taste , not nice at all. I do not recommend this at all. I also ordered a portion of classic bruschette - 5.50£ the portion and you have 2 small slices of baguette only!!

The best chicken salad in London and as for the affetado misto wow and wow! There are so many restaurants in hatch end broadway but this little gem is not to be missed. Trust me !!!

We went for a family dinner last night. Food was delicious and portions were huge! Staff were so lovely and very accommodating. We went with our children who loved the food and we will definitely be going back!

Very nice, modern looking Mediterranean restaurant. Food was delicious and we had great service. Atmosphere was also very much for occasion so definitely must visit for any larger or individual celebration. Definitely recommend this restaurant.

I have never posted a review about a business before, however, what we experienced this evening is nothing short of an utter disgrace. The moment we arrived the lady in charge on the evening set the tone for how the night was going to unfold. She was extremely rude, made an initial comment about taking so long to order, it was 6pm and there was no other diners in the restaurant, but still had the nerved to tut and rush us into ordering. We were a party of 12 with 6 young children, so being rushed into ordering within 5 minutes of sitting down is ridiculous. A group of 4 joined later behind us and some how dropped a bottle of wine on the ground, which smashed, where one piece of glass hit my friend in the neck, and another landed in a plate of bread. Again the lady took offence about asking for the table cloth to be replaced due to there being shards of glass on it, and another member of staff laughed at my friend when he told them he had been hit in the neck. The mains arrived, and 4 dishes were pizza with meat on them. The meat was absolutely disgusting and tasted like it was off. When we complained, she said it was absolutely fine and must be something wrong with our taste buds. After taking offence to that comment we decided to bring up the disgusting service we had received all evening and she just laughed. All in all, a complete shambles, if the food was good, you could allow for the shoddy service, but with both being utterly shocking I would highly recommend not going to this place.

Been here before and had a really good experience, however 6 of us had their xmas menu on Saturday evening. Ordered the tricolore salad as a starter. When the starter arrived half the ingredients were missing, when i questioned the waiter he tried to argue with me, then eventually brought the items separately, clearly tried to cut corners in the first place. The main meal pasta was tasteless and bland. Again put on the table for the sake of it. The male waiter was extremely rude on a number of occasions. When we asked for anything we felt like we were a burden as they were so busy and a few times we were completely ignored. Once our meal was over i asked for my food to be packed to take away. Again, the male waiter tried to make a sarcastic joke , I politely asked him to pack my food. He didn't do this and threw my food away. What a waste. Won't be going back there again! The 10% service charge does not reflect with the level of service provided. Not one to ever complain however this was a bad experience.

We had a very nice dinner . Very good service . I had a beautiful soup and the steak Diane was supreme . Thank you !!

4.5 All of our food was delicious! We were truly spoilt for choice, the menu is extensive and amazing for vegetarians, it had the most vegetarian pasta dishes I have ever seen in an Italian restaurant. The same can be said for the dessert menu which also has a lot of choice :) . We ordered the pesto Linguine, ravioli, fettuccine Alfredo and the vegetarian lasagna - the pesto pasta could have used a little more salt and pepper but it was still delicious!! The mushroom ravioli was creamy and indulgent, the lasagna was tasty and the fettuccine Alfredo was good, probably our worst dish but by no means bad. The highlight of the night were the desserts - we ordered the cheesecake, chocolate cake and the tiramisu - our fav was the cheesecake, it was one of the best we've ever had, highly recommend but the other desserts were great as well! The staff was very nice and bubbly, the tables are a little cramped, it's a small space. Would go here again :)

We ordered a variety of Pasta penne and Pasta made of Noodles , Vegetarian options. Food is tasty and portion size is generous, quite unlikely to a regular UK restraunts where portion size is always limited. Its surprizingly pocket friendly for the quality of food they offer.

I held a surprise Birthday lunch for my husband. We were a big group of diners, including children. The service we received was impeccable. Staff were amazingly attentive. The food was delicious and authentic as always. The chef did a great job catering to our individual needs. I couldn't recommend Tonito's enough.

Somewhat disappointed with the food. Tasteless, my dish was ruined by the waiter putting way too much parmesan cheese on it. However, the staff where nice people and happy to help.

Service was quick but I felt like it was a bit of a burden. I really wasn't impressed as the food was bland to begin with and had to send my first order back as it was tasteless and rather boring. The 2nd meal was better but needed a lot of salt and pepper assistance. Overall it wasn't the best but it wasn't the worst.

ordered food for delivery, waited over an hour and it never came. called up the restaurant and received neither a refund nor the food and eventually got hung up on. Doesn’t live up to the cosy family business others have described.

Unfortunately staff is not friendly and super lazy…. I went inside asking for table for one and then they let me sit down and that’s it… no one didn’t bring me any menu didn’t offer anything to drink…. They was walking next to me and pretended that I’m not there 🤷‍♂️ and it wasn’t busy time … I left 👎 it’s a profanation of Italian restaurant , no joy no smile no nice smell of food nothing..!

I discovered this gem of a place sometime last year. A Family run restaurant and lovely staff and always helpful. Oh yes the food. My Family enjoyed the food and after few visits,we decided to order a takeaway and food was fresh and very tasty. So many tasty dishes. Compliments to the chef 👌👌👌👌👌 Officially, our favourite Italian restaurant.

We walked into this restaurant yesterday 27/5/22 as our first choices were fully booked, first impressions were poor, sat down and ordered a bottle of wine, then an Indian dude dropped over a small plate of lifeless olives and what looked like a slice of normal Hovis brown bread cut into 4pieces and a small white 20pence baguette cut into 4slices (alarm bells ringing). As we had already started drinking the wine and we were very very hungry we thought we’d stay as the mains might surprise us. Big mistake…….cut a long story short, the mains were terrible, luke warm, overcooked & bland and looked like something a child made and served and not worth the money, I asked the waitress who i think was Romanian where the bread and wine was from and she said from the Tescos express a few shops up. There is nothing authentic about this restaurant and is one of the worst places I’ve ever been to, service was sloppy, I would recommend you avoid this place as it will ruin your evening as it did ours!

Visited the restaurant on Saturday for lunch. I've reserved a table for me and my wife for her birthday via their website. No response or acknowledgement from them to confirm so we went anyway. We have received the coldest welcome ever.. The lady said we can sit wherever we want. We set at table for four as we knew that we going to share some dishes so thought we would need a bigger table. The lady put the menu down on the table without saying anything and immediately separated the tables for two. She came across very unfriendly and unwelcoming. We ordered two cocktails but we saw the lady start preparing them and then ran back on the floor cleaning tables and taking payments although there were only 3 tables taking in the restaurant.Seemed like that one person doing everything. Like 15 odd minutes later she appeared with ONE of the cocktails and then the mains and then my cocktail?? When I mentioned it to her that we wanted to have our cocktails first(cheers for the birthday and taking some pics) she didn't say anything she was just trying to squeeze all the dishes onto our small table then she realised that table is too small so we had to put some plaits on the table next to us which still hasn't been moved back to make it suitable to eat. It was very uncomfortable as we were trying to not to knock anything over. The biggest shock was that the lady and her colleague who appeared from the back set down the table behind us and started to have their lunch?? It is maybe acceptable in a small coffee shop but not in the restaurant in Hatch End! They do lunch service between 12-3pm therfore they should have their lunch before 12 or after 3pm like every other restaurant! When I was paying I mentioned my reservation to the lady and she said she thought that was another table who celebrated a birthday a son and a father before us although It says in the email MY WIFE.. I can't see why they charging so much for food and 10%service charge when the service is so poor and unprofessional?? My wife was so disappointed (almost angry at me) because I took her there instead of ANY restaurants out there could have been better. I have learnt from my mistake and definitely not going to take her back there..

Sunday lunch with family, 11 of us. The place was full but the staff handled everyone's requests pleasantly and promptly.

This was the 2nd time at Tonito. First time was great but not this time round. We expected the kids meals to come out together but they didn't. We asked them why they haven't come out and they said they would come out as mains and we didn't tell them to come out as starters. It didn't make sense if some kids had the meals and the other didn't. Staff member was rude when I asked. We weren't told that the kids meals will come out with the mains. Slow service as we had to wait for mains and the kids were starving.

Ordered spaghetti and a pizza only the spaghetti came. Siad I would get a refund that's not happened. The lady was rude on the phone said if I wanted the pizza then I have to drive and get it myself It was mothers day I was with my mother. Dont do a delivery service if you can't deliver the right food. Spaghetti was nice thou.

The pizza was amazing, could not get the photo of the same but the pasta was very average, will certainly recommend the pizza for every vegetarian. Do ask for claudia (not sure if that's the correct name though) she is very warm and hospirable, made our meal very comfortable. The dessert was amazing too. Will certainly visit again for the pizza

I love this little family restaurant - and I keep going back. A really good Italian restaurant with a friendly Portuguese chef! Portions are huge and delicious, I truly recommend! Lovely atmosphere and lovely staff who make you feel like family.
