Hey everyone! I recently had the pleasure of dining at Mazar restaurant in Harrow with my wife, and let me tell you, it was absolutely amazing! The food was incredible, and we couldn't get enough of it. The cozy atmosphere made us feel right at home, and the staff were so friendly and attentive. We highly recommend trying their kebabs, it's a flavor explosion in every bite! If you're looking for a fantastic Middle Eastern dining experience, Mazar restaurant is the place to go. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!

So I have been eating at this place for at least 20 years. As since the beginning they have managed to maintain an excellent quantity service with amazing tasting food. Would recommend to any one who likes qabuli. Till this day I have not tasted any other Afghan foods restaurant that comes close to this pace

Great food, freshly cooked, decent sized portions .... its a small family run restaurant .... visited the place years ago (pre covid) and after that today (almost 7 yrs later) and the food, ambiance, welcoming hosts everything was still the same ... and their freshly baked butter naan was just amazing. Definitely will be going back.

The worst Afghan food I had in my life!

I went there to eat food I got food poisoning I nearly lost my life. If you love your life please don’t go to this place. As their food hygiene is seriously poor. 😭

Fantastic authentic Afghan cuisine and great hospitality! This is the most delicious Afghan food I’ve had from a restaurant. I would highly recommend the Mantu and Qabali Pulao and will definitely revisit soon!

Went with the family, quantity wise it was very good, taste wise chicken Qurma was average but kabui pulao with meat was tasty.

When i went with my family we were seated as soon as we enterd and were warmly and kindly greeted by staff😊 Throughout the whole time the staff were super kind and friendly! I came for dinner with my family and the servers were absolutely wonderful. The food was delicious and the portions large for the price. When we finished they gave plenty of amazing sweets and great tea. the restaurant itself has a homey feel to it which is refreshing for a nice peaceful dinner. Would definitely recommend for a nice dinner with friends or family.

Mazar serves the most incredible and authentic Khorasani food you can find in London. The owners are very kind people - may Allah bless the owners and staff and their respective families immensely, Ameen.

I ordered the qabeli pilau rice and when I say the portion is massive u better believe it as I initially thought it will be a small tin box and I can just have it for my lunch but no this massive serving has me smilling. Good people and good food . As sson as I ordered I called them to keep my food hot as sometimes drivers have couple stops but the food was piping hot when I received it. Thanks will order again.

I took my mother on my latest trip and we had the Chicken Quorma and Chicken Kebab. And we had a special green minty dip which was totally amazing. The Quorma was the highlight. I can't wait to go back again, and neither can my mother.

Mazar provided catering for a work training event in October. The food was lovely and presented with so much care, everyone was impressed and enjoyed lunch. The owner was friendly and a pleasure to deal with. Definitely would recommend :)

The price of Ash is to expensive then the small bowl and the rice is cold and i cant see meat in kabuli palaw

Absolutely love this place, super tasty food and good portion sizes. They are always so friendly and accommodating. I travel 30 mins by car just to eat the Quabuli Puloa which is to die for. Wish it was closer so I could go more often. The negative reviews are a whole lot of nonsense and seem fake to me. Highly recommend you should give this place a try, thank me later 😊

Was visiting Harrow so Google searched for the best halal restaurant in the area and this place came up on top, so I went for it. Firstly when you see the place you will think it looks run down a bit but was fully packed inside and now I know why. If you want home cooked styled Afghan food this is the place. We ordered a mix grill and the meat was amazing, soft and juicy and flavorful, lamb chops best I ever had. Then we also got a lamb and chicken curry and once again tasted so authentic, literally served home cooked style, none of that fancy plate or pots for servings just plain white standard home plates. This place is a must visit if you really want the best home cooked Afghan food.

The rice is excellent but the meat is very bad

Highly recommend it, food was lovely, good portions and the owner was very nice and attentive. Very authentic experience. The portion size are quite big so not sure why people have said they’re not.

Not a best place to go. I ordered one Uzbeki Qbuli palao £11.99 and one small mixed kebab £10.99 with one can of Pepsi and one Aryan, they charged me £40 for all these.

I can write pages on our bad experience with them, but to keep it short; save your money and time and DON'T GO THERE PLEASE, for your own sake.

We order pizza from Mazar, really disappointed by service. Pizza delivery came after 1:30 Minutes and was cold pizza. We have called but shop guy was making excuses and blaming delivery man. Never recommend

The worst experience from a hotel. The management don’t have any responsibility over the delivery and very bad customer service. Poor service. They don’t deliver in and the status will be delivered so guys pls be careful of this hotel.

Ordered a family platter for £60...literally the smallest most stingy portion I have ever seen...no meat with the kabli pilou just bone! First review I've ever left, but these guys are shockingly stingy and a massive rip off!

I ordered today from uber eats and got the worst food ever that went straight in the bin disgusting quality kofta tasted like if it was frozen and got soaked in oil that the nan bread was soggy because the kofta was soggy very poor

We visited this place seeing all the ratings being so high but was highly disappointed as we were celebrating an anniversary as well. It’s a family run restaurant and although the owners/hosts were friendly the food was veryyyyyy average (especially if you’re native to the sub continent). The restaurant was empty and very basic! Food portions not a lot and they take cash!! The restaurant is certainly high priced for what is received and they don’t even take card - cash only!! Despite the owners being friendly, I wouldn’t recommend it due to smaller portions, high priced, veryyyy average food and no ambience.

Placed my order at 6.15pm for delivery. Owner came at 10.45pm and gave me less change intentionally after knowing that he has kept a pregnant lady hungry for the past 4 hours! A joke!!! Definitely never returning.

It was unexpectedly nice buffet layed out. The food was exquisite is was friendly host by the owner. After Maghreb started getting busier which makes the atmosphere more warmer. After all, the food seems home made the reception was warm and the service was amazing. Definitely be back.

Had the absolute pleasure of finding this hidden gem of London. Pure home made food , authentic taste. Great portion size, quality ingredients and out of the world condiments. Lovely owners and staff made me feel so welcomed hosted proper Afghani style. Wishing all the very best and cant wait to visit soon with family and friends.

As a local resident favourite I must say their pizzas are by far some of the best I've tried, including internationally. Toppings are always fresh (meat × veg) and the base has a "home baked" feel which you just won't get in large chain artificial processed food factories. Portions are very generous for the cost and service has a family friendly feel with a smile. The "chap" below leaving a 1* review seems to have a vendetta against ethnic restaurants (see his review history) and is clearly unhinged. I've ordered for years from here with only good experiences and always leave reviews when deserved. Definitely strongly recommend this place for the pizzas atleast.

Diabolical food, ordered Qabuli and Lamb Chops, both dishes were unbelievably salty not edible at all, despite the fact that my wife and I didn’t eat the food we still had to pay for it. Not recommend it all. Fun fact my wife threw up just as we left the restaurant. Ended up taking her to the hospital. Not recommend it at all. 🤮🤮. Down below I have add some photos that I took on the day we visited the restaurant. Unfortunately we haven’t taken any photos of the dishes we ordered. In addition to that Refund the money to the account that you’ve taken the payment from. The person in charge I believe so called (Haji) is fully aware of the incident but totally in denial and ignorant. But to keen to charge for the food that we haven’t ate. You may cross reference this with that Iranian waitress for verification. Last but not least I can’t upload any photos. And stop making bogus stories about your competitors.

Pleasant owner and service but food is average. The pilau was mildly warm and had a shank missing in action with a few bits of meat instead.

I went with my family to Mazar yesterday as a fallback option since we went to the near MASA restaurant first but did not stay their due to waiting time and bad customer service as the waiters there (at MASA) seem to be least interested in us. I am glad we tried Mazar instead as the owners and the waiters are so smiling and welcoming and the food is really nice as well. Thank you for making our night out memorable. Will be visiting again soon 😃.

Poor food. I asked for 4 large kabli and they gave me just 1 saying it is all 4 in one. Then when I ordered another single portion it was bigger than the 4 combined!! Giving one star and saying its 5 in one.

Ordered through Just eat. Food came so quickly. Generous portions and an additional starter on the house. Quality food and not salty like other places. Will order again. Recommend

Trying an Afghan dish is quite the novelty still and i must say the native dishes such as Qabuli Mahicha are amazing! Imagine lamb shank slow cooked in a pulao with the traditional Afghan spices and dry fruits and that doesn’t make you hungry I am not sure what will! Restaurant staff are also very polite, they welcome you like you were one of their own! Give it a go if you are at Harrow Wealdstone area!

Awful place to go. Very bad food, The warm the food they don't cook it fresh. They even don't make the kebab fresh.

Lovely restaurant and good food. Above all service was excellent. A short walk from Harrow & Wealdstone Station, off the High Street and opposite the post office. At the time of our visit they were not accepting card payments only cash.
