Nice Afghan restaurant with a comforting atmosphere and friendly staff. Bushra helped us with what to order and all the grilled meats and kabuli pulaw were amazing!

Qabuli pilau was so succulent. The meat melts in your mouth and the flavours are aromatic

I booked for 9 friends at Masa. I dealt with Ismat who was most helpful and courteous, he helped me plan as I was responsible for the entire booking. Number of different dishes and appropriately how much was all sorted out by Ismat from the start to end. Food and service was top class and everyone was most pleased. Price per head was reasonable too. We may make future plans at Masa Restaurant Harrow Wealdstone permanently. Thank you Masa!! Sohail Anwar

The Qabuli Pilaw, Afghanistan’s celebrated national dish is the clear highlight here. Perfectly seasoned, hearty, and offered at a fair price, it’s a dish I’d highly recommend. The mixed grill, while flavorful, felt slightly disproportionate in terms of portion size relative to its cost. A minor adjustment in pricing or portioning could enhance its appeal. One small note: the teapot service (£4.95) used a single teabag, which may not meet everyone’s expectations for a shared pot. A more generous tea preparation could elevate the experience. That said, the restaurant offers enjoyable flavors, and I’d gladly return for the Qabuli Pilaw. With a few thoughtful refinements, this could easily become a go-to spot.

Delicious food and good behaviour of waitress

Came for an after work dinner with colleagues this evening and had a delightful time! The naan was fresh and delicious and the lamb melted in the mouth. Also highly recommend the chicken kharai. Service was friendly and the food arrived in good time. This is one of the tastiest meals Ive had in Harrow. Everyone enjoyed the food and atmosphere and we will definitely be returning! Many thanks to the wonderful and hard working staff.

I and my friend were visited masa restaurant for the first time and we had very nice afghan dish that we never tried before recommend by one of the waitress call Pushtin she was very friendly and well informed smart girl so we would love to visit again, highly recommended

I ordered food at 05 pm they told me with in 40 minutes. my delivery arrived at 06:30 the food was cold how can you eat cold meat when I called he told me I can send you again the order and you have to wait 40 more minutes. when you are hungry!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We held our baby’s Aqiqah at this place and it was the most amazing experience from the second we came until the very end. The staff were extremely helpful. They helped us change the decoration even though this was something they could easily refuse to do. They fulfilled every single request we made without a single frown on their face regardless of how many times we asked something. The food was very tasty and they were very generous in refilling any dishes that would be close to finishing. The venue was very spacious. We had a lot of kids at the event and there was room for them to walk around as its difficult for children to stay seated all the time. I honestly have nothing to critique. I would definitely book this place again for any future events without a doubt!

This is our place for Afghani Cuisine, lovely and mouth watering food, I like their Dough (Yogurt drink) very much.The service is also excellent, Bushra and Habib are very courteous and helpful.

We came here Monday evening for the ramadan iftari buffet.The food was delicious, especially the kabuli, rice,pakora and lamb with potatoes.We stayed late and met the owner and he was very nice and friendly.Would definitely recommend this place for authentic Afghan food and good vibes.

Masa Restaurant is truly a hidden gem! From the warm welcome to the incredible food, everything was top-notch. The mixed grill was packed with flavor—perfectly grilled, juicy, and tender. The jumbo prawns were an absolute standout—so fresh and full of smoky, charred goodness! Every dish I tried was amazing, from the chapli kabab to the lamb shoulder and mantu. And let’s not forget the Afghani falooda and sheeryak—the perfect sweet ending to the meal! The owner and staff were incredibly welcoming, making the experience even better. It’s no surprise this place has been around for 17 years and is award-winning! If you’re looking for authentic Afghani food in London, you HAVE to try Masa. Highly recommend!

I feel disappointed to write this review as someone who has been a huge fan of this place for over 5 years. I always come here for normal food but today was my first time coming for the Iftar.. I came after I saw their advertisement on instagram and TikTok. It was definitely underwhelming and felt like a scam. We paid almost £20 per person when we would’ve been better off just ordering from the menu for more variety from that price. They advertised mantu, wings, etc and none of that was on the menu. The options were very limited and not much to choose from. The kabuli had no carrots or toppings on it left, there was not any chicken wings or anything and even desserts, they advertised baklava and ice cream with drinks etc which also wasn’t there at all, all they had was firni and tea. Again not worth it. They also had no drinks variety, no water, no yoghurt drink, only a red drink with a lemony one. The waitress could tell I was unhappy and she made the effort to bring out a small plate of mantua for us which I found very kind and I really appreciate but it still doesn’t take away from the fact that it’s nothing like advertised and very disappointing. It was our first time going out for Ramadan Iftar and we wanted something nice and a change of atmosphere. Even when food finished they didn’t bring out anything else even though people were still eating so we didn’t get to try much.

Masa has the most authentic, beautiful Afghan food i have ever tasted. The meat is succulent and tender and high quality. The starters are exceptional and the service is out of this world. My favourite starter is the aubergine and I have never tasted meat this good in all of my life, and I don't think any other restaurant will come close. The owner of the restaurant and his staff care about their customers and provide the most exceptional service. I cannot fault them in any way and i cannot wait to go back!

This year's Iftar buffet is significantly improved, offering a wide variety of dishes and an abundance of food. It is well worth the price paid. Despite the high-pressure environment, the staff remained exceptionally friendly. Well done!

If you're after amazing food at a great price, Masa, Afghan Restaurant is the place to go. You really get fantastic value for money here, especially with their huge portions. The staff are incredibly friendly and make you feel right at home. It’s rare to find such great service – they really go out of their way to make sure you have a brilliant time. As a lovely surprise, they even treated me to some refreshing fresh mint tea and delicious Baklava, which was the perfect way to finish the meal. For families or groups, Masa is perfect. They offer a seasonal all-you-can-eat buffet for less than £20 per person, which includes all the best dishes on the menu – definitely worth it! The restaurant is close to the station, and there’s street parking available too. Overall, it’s a top spot for authentic Afghan food, friendly service, and a great deal. Highly recommend it!

Masa never disappoints us…we have been going to the restaurants for the last 15 years and the food and standards are always high… We had an iftar today with a very reasonable price and delicious food… It was also my LO birthday so the chef went to the bakery and got us cake and candles it was an amazing touch… The chef Moeen Bhai and the owner including all the staff Bushra and everyone are so friendly and amazing…… thank you everyone

I arranged a ladies only party in masa ...I must say it was excellent! Food was absolutely yummy! Quantity was very good! And if something was finishing they would top up. Owner is a very nice person and gave me really good deal on the buffet! Would definitely arrange another one soon. The hall itself needs updating with good decor ...apart from that experience was very good.

We went to masa restaurant for first time after we saw some good TikTok reviews on the restaurant the food was good however the hygiene was very poor as the family lady sitting on the table opposite us was also eating but serving us at the same time and her son had vomited which she also cleared up but however went back to serving us like nothing happened which was very disappointing and unsafe regarding hygiene. Therefore I was not pleased with my experience at Masa

Vegetarian food and their service was perfect, I say you must try Borani Afghani and Okra and a fantastic Salad which had pieces of cheese, they make fresh bread, I also had rice which was nice and the tea after the food makes me feel really good, suggest it to you all. “I am vegetarian and I enjoyed their veg foods”

This restaurant is one of the best places I’ve ever eaten in my life! The portion sizes are very generous, and the food is absolutely delicious!
