Best chip shop I’ve ever had, amazing food , lovely staff. Highly recommend!!!

Grabbed a takeaway Saturday evening and can honestly say they’re the best fish and chips I’ve eaten for a very long time, will be using regularly now

Absolutely amazing experience today. Great value cod and chips meal with a soft drink. Partner had minced beef pie and chips. Good size portion, fish melted in the mouth! Spotlessly clean fish bar, friendly welcoming staff, top notch service. Will definitely be returning very soon. 😍

I ordered today but ordered through Uber eats, Uber eats driver kept on delaying the pick up and also cancelling the pick up, so our food was just going to sit there for ages even though it was cooked and ready to go , after about 15 minutes of ordering and the store obviously aware that Uber eats was going to take much longer than expected, Tommy Tuckers rang me personally as there worry was my food was going to go cold by the time Uber picked it up, In the end I went and collected it myself. All I can say is don’t order with Uber eats. Apart from that, As always the food was absolutely perfect, great food, great service, lovely people definitely one of our favourite takeaways.

Chips were great and I'm sure all other food is good however the large cod I had was inedible what little fish that was in the batter was watery and slimy and they left the skin on. Not like any cod I've ever had. Won't be returning.

I can't tell you how happy I am to find a decent fish and chips shop in harlow.. The service was amazing I called the shop after making a deliveroo order and told them my pregnant wife needs loads of onion vinegar due to her cravings.. not only did he drench the food in vinegar he also offered us a free bottle of vinegar so she could use at anytime.. not to mention the food was so fresh not greasy crispy yet fluffy. Thank you again. Don't ever change guys amazing !

Tried Tommy Tuckers after being recommended by a friend. Best fish we have had for a long time. It's all cooked to order so nice and fresh. Will definitely go again.

We use this shop once a month for a treat and that's what it is. Good portion sizes, fresh non greasy food. The shop is very clean and owner and his staff are friendly.

Went here at lunch time and orderered and paid for a cod and chips (£9:30) to then see a small sign saying lunchtime deal (upto 2pm) cod and chips £6.50 so was not happy I had not been made aware of that offer. 😕 The chips were nice but I felt the cod was a little over cooked. Not bad but not the best although not many good chippies in Harlow.

New to Harlow, and our first fisn n chips from this shop. Medium cod is very nice, good chips, all piping hot, freshly cooked and generous portions. Saveloy and pickled onions are nice size too. We’ll be back soon.

Personal opinion. Good customer service. Good sized portions. Great tasting food. What more can you ask for. Is a shame they don't deliver, but I understand their financial position, and this keeps business costs down and prices lower for customers.

The biggest plaice I've had for ages with a good sized portion of chips. Delicious!

Best in the area manager there knows his business and can't do enough for the customer. He even sells me curry sauce mix to make at home, shame I'm not nearer as I would eat there more often. Nearest one to me is Stortford no where near as good as Harlow.

Great takeaway for fish and chips, scampy, burgers, ribs etc. 1/2 roast chicken and chips for a fiver, can't beat on taste or price.

The food is expensive, overly priced because it's the only fish and chips in bushfair. My experience the people that work there are rude. The hygiene level isnt the best I've seen them handle food and money. There is not queuing system so you dont even know who's waiting in line or who's waiting to collect. I made an order and waiting 10 minutes just for chips. I wouldnt recommend this place

Our friends did recommend to us “Tommy Tuckers”,first time we went there to ask for some chicken burgers and chips. The cashier was very rude to us ,we asked for some ketchup and he said very rude “you have to pay for it”, Obviously I can pay for it if you are going to be nice with your customers. This was our first time going in to this shop and this was the worst experience I ever had. This guy has no customers service and no skills at all. Please avoid this place if you don’t want to be treated like this!!!

Best best fish and chip shop in Harlow. Shame they don't do delivery but at least you know your food will be hot and fresh.

Like to thank Tommy tuckers for supporting all the staff at Harlow ambulance station and supplying us with such amazing food. It's never ever expected but very much appreciated. I would always go hear from now on.

Went into this fish & chip shop hoping that they may be able to make chips for my daughter, with multiple allergies. Not only did they fry her a separate portion of chips but they practiced fantastic hygiene with extra hand washing and careful wrapping of her meal. My daughter is 3.5 and never gets to have takeaway food, because she has multiple allergies, and it was really so lovely just to get to take her to the park with a portion of chips and enjoy time together. I'm so grateful to Tommy Tuckers for the great service and being so accommodating!

Sometimes I buy medium cod there, it is always fresh fried when I order it and juicy not greasy!!

The staff are polite and friendly. The food was shocking. Grissle and bone in a battered sausage. We've eaten from here 3 times. The first was mediocre, the second was brilliant and the third time was abismal. Sadly wont be going back.

The staff are always welcoming and very friendly, and serve with a smile. On the whole the food is usually top notch. Although on rare occasions, sadly the food quality drops. The chips and batter on the fish can be soggy and greasy, like they have been left for too long or the oil needs changing. Otherwise, would have been 5 stars.

Friendly staff. Chips used to be quite good (although full of black bits which was annoying), but I stopped eating from here a few weeks back because they have really gone downhill and are soggy and tasteless. Also, when it 1st opened I had chicken and it was very grey and tasteless that I threw half of it away. I did have to run to the loo the next day too. Because of this I only ordered chips from then on but have given up on those. Shame because it's a smart looking shop with friendly staff, but I need good food too!
