Some of the best sushi I’ve ever had. Dragon roll - insane, California roll - stunning, tempura - would have 10 over. Can’t even remember the names of the rest I had but very very good!

I rarely buy Asian takeaway as it is usually gloopy and over salted. And to be honest, I can cook better at home. By thought we’d try TokyGo as it looked a little different: and what a great decision that was! We had: Spring Rolls, Salt & Pepper Chips, Flamed Teriyaki Salmon Bowl and Firecracker Crispy Rice Bowl. The food was absolutely delicious. Fresh and oozing with flavours. It also looked great when it arrived. Would give this place 6 stars if I could and will be going back for more.

Ordered on Uber Eats and I must say this was the tastiest sushi place I’ve eaten at. Unfortunately the fried shrimp was cold but I feel thats due to packaging as the rest in the bento box was great! Deffo recommend will order again for sure!

Ordered a takeaway last night for the first time from TOKYO and it was so delicious! Ordered a mix of sushi, chips, cauliflower, seasame tofu and rice bowls. I would absolutely recommend to anyone. The tofu in particular was amazing, a really nice sticky sauce and the sushi maki rolls were so fresh. Will be ordering again!

The best takeout food I’ve ever had, so sad I’m moving out of the delivery area but will for sure make the drive to get this. Ordered a few times on Deliveroo. The most unreal food, always comes so quick. I get the same thing, the firecracker chicken bowl which is so so good. Sushi is nice too. Great value for money.

Delicious food. I have tried this place a couple of times, it is now our favourite place to order from when we want a take away. It’s fresh and tasty! I never thought I would love cauliflower so much but their cauliflower firecracker dish is tooo good!! We also tried the firecracker chicken and that’s also really tasty (a little spicy) But really yummy 🤤 The chicken tikka noodles is soo good and has a nice subtle Smokey flavour to it. The salt and pepper chips are more like crinkled wedges they are 10/10! 😍 We really enjoy the food. I had to leave a review to praise them and I hope they stay around because a lot of new businesses open and close, and Nottingham lacks good food! So I’m really glad we finally have a nice take away to order from which is good quality food, tasty and halal! I’ve not come across a halal Japanese take away locally so this is great! Whoever owns this place… well done!! 🥳

A Japanese restaurant with reasonable prices and good quality has been on my search list for quite a while. Having just discovered this wonderful quaint restaurant hidden in the nooks of Mapperley top, it is my new favorite place since being in Asia. It has everything you could want: freshness, service, and taste, with a wonderful staff presence that welcomes you with a smile. Would 100% recommend.

The gyozas were to die for. But the past few months it seems the recipe has been changed and they’re not so amazing. Please bring back the original recipe you.

Ordered delivery from here a few times now - highly recommend. Everything is so fresh and flavoursome. Our favourite is the salmon temaki hand roll and we order one each to avoid fighting! We’ve ordered with friends visiting from Shanghai who were super impressed.

Little hidden gem. Saw this place when driving past and wanted some quick hot food that wasn’t the normal greasy stodge. Food was excellent…had a crispy chicken rice box. Will be here again next time I’m passing for sure. Thanks

I love this little place, and I am working my way through the menu. So far I’ve had the Seafood platter, Tofu Yakisoba Noodles and the Prawn dumplings. Everything has been great! Staff are polite but mostly really busy so not there for a chat. The food does the talking! So glad you’re so close to home! And the 20% off with your previous receipt makes the meal 20% more tasty. Keep it up TokyGo I’ll be back!

This is our first order from here. The website need an upgraded, as it doesn't show the food photos, so we went on their Uber eat page to see the photos. The food is amazing, absolutely delicious, and with most beautiful presentation. All the package is eco friendly too. Very very happy customer, will definitely come back again, 5 stars. 👍👍👍

Stopped by to pick up some Nigiri having seen this new outlet opening recently. It’s really was super nice and served with a friendly smile. I have had a delivery from Tokygo before but today got take out. The food has been excellent both times I have had it. Today I had the seafood platter and the hot king prawn. The flavour is always delicious and though not the cheapest the quality is second to none. Really wish the review would let me add a photo as the food always looks as delicious as it is to eat. Recommend for sure.

I absolutely like the texture of the rice, it so chewy. Chickens are crispy and sweet.

Always items missing when ordering through Deliveroo. Last time it was miso soup. Told me I'd have to come and collect it and that they can't deliver it as they don't have their own drivers. Wouldn't give me a refund, said I had to claim through Deliveroo. Deliveroo are refusing to refund me for the missing item and won't even give me a reason why. Awful service.

Looking for something different.. They do sushi boxes as well as hot sushi. The noodle ones are very filling and cooked to order.

Evening take out @tokygo.sushi The little sushi bar. We don't have takeaway very often as they are a bit samey. For something different there's a little Sushi place on Mapperley top. If you thought sushi was all about raw fish..it's not. We ordered for collection (as we don't use the delivery apps) some of their hot selections. Salt & pepper crinkle cut chips. Prawn tempura. Chicken tikka hot sushi rolls. Yakisoba noodles with grilled salmon. Rice bowl with firecracker crispy chicken. It was all freshly cooked to order and absolutely delicious. The portions were very generous and filling

Not impressed! Very excited to be able to order on New Years day. Double checked google which said it was open. placed my order on the website, I received an emailed receipt for placed order time booked, food ordered etc. no mention at all of being closed. drove up to pick it up and its closed, so a 30 min wasted journey. Before writing this review, I looked for a way to email to complain direct, but its not possible, there is no email address and the phone number said it didn't accept calls from my area? Such a shame as I was recommended to try instead of sushi mania......

Honestly some of the most delicious Japanese food I’ve had! I ordered the two friends bento which was really reasonably priced. Food was divine, delicious crispy firecracker chicken, perfect prawn tempura, and sushi rolls were amazing! Keep it up tokygo! This is the place to order from if you want affordable, delicious sushi 💖

I ordered Grilled Salmon Yakisoba Noodles Do not expect a Fillet of Salmon or anything near like it! What you get is thinly sliced tail ends of Salmon with the fatty not crispy skin on and about 5 pieces at the most! Really disappointing as the flavour is really good and the vegetable content is really good! Wish they would not spend ridiculous amounts of money on packaging and fancy bags! Which is all binned anyway and concentrate more on providing decent food at affordable prices! One meal that cost £11:00 is not affordable when you don’t even get a Full fillet of Salmon!
