Waited in the Q for 20 min to get food. The roast potatoes were not easy to cut through the skin and the Yorkshire put were rubbery. You couldn't cut through them either. The food was cold by the time you got half way through it. Xmas day, I was not impressed at all

A snowy day here in Liverpool, we trekked out and sampled the delights of this Toby Carvery. The beef and lamb served was epically brilliant, both fell apart and melted in the mouth 👍👍 The veg was superb, cooked to perfection, and the sprouts, I can tell were cooked so beautifully, on the way home, had a massive sprout fart which in normal circles would be considered inhumane. So you just know it was perfection 💚

Very pleasant Waitress,carvery very dissapointing,vegcold,lamb ok,2 of us left half of our meal.When asked how was meal,told waitress its was cold reason 4 leaving food on plate,offered to heat it up,bil was Just under£70 with wine

Carvery is consistent. It's never as good as a home roast but is a good price for a midweek eat. You can wait a while to get seated and served drinks. Paying the bill was easy.

Our waitress Kirsty was simply wonderful; very attentive, pleasant and professional. Sadly, the chef who served our carvery (a Chinese chap) didn't seem to be a 'people person'; quite dour and limited in his interaction with us. The food (other than the sprouts which were bitter?) was very good although the plates we were given were cold sadly. Five stars for Kirsty though.

I always pick this one as it's in a good area and it's never busy when I'm there. It has great parking and the staff are always amazing. Great carvery as expected.

Chaz was incredible, she made everything better but sadly everything else was a mess. Xmas dinner was overpriced and stressful for no reason. Would never ever come back for xmas. Have to say she's a credit to Toby Carvery, she deffo needs a raise! 10/10 server.

One of the better Toby carvery always a friendly welcome and the food is usually fresh and hot which isn't always the case in other Tobys.

very homely atmosphere in this gaff (toby carvery aiggy), albeit initially a little cold by the window where I was sat but the radiators an me puffer coat solved that no problem. me server nikki was very lovely and welcoming towards me, a person with an invisible disability. this woman deserves a pay rise, honestly.

Didn’t appreciate the mumbling when deciding what meat to select.

Just had a carvery order to pick up, only because I'm under the respiratory team for breathing problems at the minute and can't leave the house. All I can say is total waste of money. My son ordered and updated what we wanted on the dinners over the phone. I asked for carrots cabbage & sprouts on mine he ordered peas cabbage sprouts & carrots. I got the peas on mine that should of been on his & red cabbage I didn't ask for i and he didn't get any peas. I don't know where these chefs learned to cook but they need to go back again, all of the veg was under cooked the roasties were cremated. Its says on the tubs not to reheat the food but after just a 5 minute drive from pickup the food was luke warm and the Yorkshire puddings where stone cold. All in all it was disgusting, most of mine went in the bin. Never again!!

Not as good as it used to be. Sat waiting for service for about 15 mins even though not busy as just opened. Food still as good as it used to be. Half way through meal before drinks came.
