Breakfast is not bad for the price. Nice and clean pub. Good service, pub atmosphere

Great food, after a long walk, it was good to eat such a good meal, the quantity was above the norm. I recommend.

Visited with two children aged 2 and 4. We were taken to our table and offered high chairs for the boys. Nice surprise some places don't even bother asking. We all had a lovely breakfast which was hot and tasty. The boys enjoyed their pancakes. There was plenty of choice and the coffee was much needed. The staff were all visible and doing their job. There was a lovely relaxed atmosphere and we will be going again to try both lunch and donner really soon. A++++

We LOVE coming here. Always friendly and accommodating for children and families. Toilets could be cleaner however. Food was delicious. Mac n cheese great!

We are here now at Toby Carvery in Aigburth and the woman behind the bar with a grey jacket has the most filthy attitude! She spoke to my father with such disrespect even though he was just asking if anyone was serving. If you can't hack the stress of a busy customer facing business then work in a room on your own. Absolutely disgusting!

We was served by Natalie and she was very warm and welcoming as soon as we sat down. She was very helpful and made the experience 10 times better!! She gave us great recommendations for the puds which she was right about and we all had a lovely time!! You can see she takes time and pride into her job which is lovely to see! Great customer service and we will definitely be returning because of Natalie’s service.

Our server this evening was Natalie and she was absolutely lovely. The food was good too, however the stuffing was a little bit burnt. As a vegetarian i ordered the Melt in the Middle, which was lovely and came quickly after ordering, an overall lovely experience! x

We weren’t greeted with even a basic hello when arriving , by the hostess .. when I gave my name for the table she looked at the screen then walked away n said follow me.. not very friendly.. Roast was very low standard but the children’s chicken burger was disgusting & sent straight back to the kitchen. Waitress wasn’t very friendly especially when I asked for the children’s meal to be removed off the bill.

I live the other side of the city and happily bypass other carveries to eat at this one. Service was attentive and accommodating, Dylan (please forgive any misspelling) was lovely and food was great as always. Having 3 small children it can sometimes be stressful eating out but it's a relaxed and inviting atmosphere that makes it all the more tempting to skip the cooking and dishes

Booking was at 14:15, served by Natalie absolutely lovely. Very welcoming, attentive and informative!! Food always tasty. However, when it came to us going up for food the staff member on the carvery was rude. He was annoyed we only wanted a normal sized plate. Made fun of my friend for being vegetarian, we could hear him mocking her as he went into the kitchen. When my partner asked for some Parsnips. He responded “Not got eyes that can see that far into the kitchen.” But can go into the kitchen to mock people? Made us all feel uncomfortable.

We came this evening for a family get together. There was 11 of us & not one person was disappointed. The server we had was friendly, attentive & helpful. We booked in advance & led straight to our table with no fuss. The food was great & amazing value for money. The only let down was that I didn’t have space for pudding :D

The carvey was lovely, meat not too dried out and carver was great and friendly, in fact all staff were great, polite and friendly, checked on us occasionally to see if the food was satisfactory and if we needed anything else. Great job, hope to back soon.
