To Kefi (Greek Restaurant & Cafe) in Kingston upon Thames

5/5. Menu is incredible- we couldn't decide what to pick!!! Food was really good and had the almond Tiramisu dessert cocktail... wow. Chef's kiss! Definitely returning to try the desserts!!!

We had a really bad experience with just eat, rude delivery driver refusing to deliver our food, luckily the restaurant were fantastic we managed to get it sorted. Food was really nice but unfortunately cold due to all the issues with the driver. I think next time we will just go to the restaurant and not use just eat.

Our new favourite spot in London, it’s a shame we live 40mins away. The food was delicious and great portion, couldn’t even finish it all. We really wanted to taste the desserts and I am very glad, that we ordered them at the end for takeaway. The service is very friendly and attentive, and they make the best coffee as well. :) Thank you for tonight!

So I've got mixed feelings about this place, the atmosphere was great, pretty full on a Monday when many other restaurants are empty/closed. The service was fantastic, very friendly staff and they handled my friend well who had probably had one too many. However, we go to restaurants for food and I have to say I was disappointed. The mixed grill was small, two small meat skewers, a few pieces of bread and some chips. The meat was black and dry from being overcooked. I almost sent it back, but didn't want to make a fuss. Unfortunately won't be recommending. I know it's not an isolated incident as my Greek friend also gave similar feedback, but thought I'd try for myself.

Following some appalling treatment at Ramo's round the corner from To Kefi, my brother and I decided to try them out. We were met by a lovely smiling girl and I explained what had happened. From the moment we went in we knew we were in the right place. We had a lovely chat with her and the other waitress and a guy who was a friend. We sought some recommendations and everything that they brought to us was excellent. Fresh, simple, loads of flavour and good value. The main thing though was the super friendly, family vibe about the place. When we finished, the waitress' mum came out of the kitchen and they both sat down and chatted away with us. To find somewhere with such a friendly, personal approach is rare and to be supported. 'Mum' asked us to go back for her Moussaka as it's her speciality. We most definitely will. Thank you :•)

To kefi is simply the nicest place for Greek food. Dining in the resturant where the atmosphere is relaxed with a twist of elegance. Sprios and his team will serve you the best homemade dishes, fresh from the kitchen and to everybody's taste. The cocktails here are also incredible, we are so lucky to have To kefi.

I really recommend this place. The vibes is great and food is delicious especially the kleftiko and octopus. Staff is very friendly and attentive. Definitely will come back soon.

Very small portions at an expensive price. I asked why the portions of every dish is so small, the waitress answered: because some guests didn't finish so we adjust the size. It's not fair for the other guests who can finish and still feel hungry after the meal. I ordered octopus of £17 + service charge, only 1 feet with a few potatoes ... I was like... What?? Are we in Chelsea? Are you serving kids menu? Overpriced with small portions, not generous enough. My mother in law ordered mixed skewers of chicken and pork. Only 1 skewer of chicken and 1 skewer of pork . I thought are we joining same hungry game show? My husband had takeaway here before, he needs to buy extra bread after a normal main dish. He said the Greek takeaway opposite to this shop is bigger portions and more affordable, and probably same quality. He was so angry after ordering. He forgot to warn us about this restaurant before we came. He is not a tall guy , a normal British guy probably needs to order 2 main dish to feel ded up, where each dish cost like £ 17 + service charge. Also the card machine not working so my in law needs to go atm to take cash... Not very cool Just the waitress is nice. But that's not enough for us to come back or recommend to others people.

Hi, the food tasted fine but I ordered the moussaka - £16 - and the portion size was tiny! Perhaps I was just unlucky, but it was plain mince and aubergine, nothing special. Felt very ripped off.

Superb family run restaurant in Norbiton. Food was first class, service could not be faulted and a very welcoming atmosphere. Please give it a go. Free street parking on a Sunday.

Food was delicious, service is great. Reasonably priced. Absolute gem in Kingston’s mostly dull, restaurant scene.

The meat platter was good, the octopus was OK, the beef was dry and a small portion with 5 big onions, bit odd, the fried chicken was tasty but bit tough to cut through, the lamb was OK, again quite small portion. I just had a lamb shank in Lime and Thyme at Raynes park the previous day and that was amazing, so I had high hope to this, unfortunately such a let down... The dessert were the best part, very tasty! The place was nice but can get very noisy when gets busy. The waitresses were all friendly. Overall won't be coming back unfortunately.

Staff are friendly and quick response. The surrounding is clean and bright. Food is a bit under my expectations as the platter for two mixed meat grill was a bit cold. This made our appetites were low. In general salad and drink were ok

They didn't seem to know we had a reservation, so there was a bit of chaos as they organised themselves to accommodate us - including moving a couple to a different table - but after 5 mins late we were sat. The (young) waiting staff were great - super-friendly and helpful with advice on the dishes they recommended. Food was really good. Service got better as the place emptied. And a couple of side dishes that we'd ordered didn't arrive, but we'd ordered a lot of food so we didn't miss them. Those missing dishes were on the final bill, but they didn't hesitate to remove them. Definitely going to go back - but will probably call an hour before just to be sure they're ready!

It’s our first time visit. They were very accommodating as it was very busy and we did not have a booking. Great buzz vibe , food and the service was excellent. No on site parking .You can park on the side roads in the evening which is 1-2 min walk

We usually come here for wraps and takeaway stuff. The staff in the morning are quick and friendly. We came tonight for a sit down meal. Waitress was great friendly and helpful. Feta and honey starter, bread and dips were fine. We ordered grilled meat and salad for main. The chicken was severely undercooked as well as the beef and sausages. The chicken was the most worrying part so we told the waitress. We sent all the main dishes back and we told her it’s okay and it’s not her fault. She said she was sorry and she spoke to the kitchen, but came back with no explanation. We were offered more things to buy which we refused, paid the whole bill with service charge and asked how waitress wether the chef was informed. She said he was but proceeded to shrug her shoulders. We left with no explanation from anyone. Not coming back. Very disappointing. .

Lovely freshly cooked meals, we ordered “The Meat Sharer for Two” which came with chips , dip and pitta bread. We had to wait a while (45 minutes until order arrived at table) but tap water and cold drinks kept us busy. The Kefi Greek Restaurant in Kingston-upon -Thames has been expanded since we last visited and now has (double glazing) glass extension which now allows more tables and plenty of space. We will visit again. Well recommended.

Amazing home made Greek food I would give it a 10 out of 10!!! The calamari was so delicious it was like being in Greece again, I definitely recommend!!! waitress was lovely and catered to our every need, she again I would give a 10 out of 10 the place was quite but so comfortable and lovely atmosphere with the owner sitting in the restaurant and chatting was so nice to see. We will be back and bringing my mum as she is Greek and looking for the real Greek experience.

We went to celebrate a birthday at To Kefi. The food was amazing. Especially moussaka and a lamb meat meal. The desserts were great. We shall definitely come back. We recommend this restaurant.

We've tried many Greek restaurants in London and this is the only one where the food is equal to the very best in Greece. The indoor area has just been extended (January 2024) to good effect. The food and service are as excellent as ever and we'll return soon.

We were looking for a place for dinner and ended up at To Kefi. We had an extremely nice experience with both the food as well as the service. When we entered we were warmly welcomed by Kavya who made our dining experience great. She was very friendly and suggested a lot of nice options on the menu. We tried the calamari, moussaka, mixed gyros and my little son had skewers. Everything was great, especially the moussaka. Definitely going back again!

I’ve been to To Kefi so many times and each time with different friends and every time the food has been amazing. Always very welcoming and service with a smile. I would highly recommend it if you want a cosy, intimate and friendly place to eat. It is a 5 min walk from Norbiton stn. Kingston.

Good pit stop place if in the area. Had a greek omelettes with feta and olives which was ok, just a bit too salty. Coffee is very good, The service is considerate but the setting is not particularly appealing.

Stopped in for a coffee, stayed for the irresistible chocolate baklava dessert, which turned into leaving with few boxes of desserts. Wonderful family run biz. Coffee was tasty, but different. Sister was working as a server, super friendly. Sold me on the virtues of chocolate baklava as I was having the coffee. As I was leaving, got to meet the mother, the cook. Told her how good choco baklava was, she offered more dessert to try for free. I couldn’t resist trying them all, so got several different desserts to go, which were all great. Highly recommend this place. I would love to come back and try meals.

One of our best places to eat in and get takeout from in Kingston. Food and service is excellent. What always impresses us is how exceptionally clean the restaurant and kitchen are. The owners/staff are always cleaning. It makes you feel very good about the quality of everything.

Ordered the Pork Gyro through Deliveroo Food turned up cold four chips hard any salad and a smear or tzatziki. Obviously the delivery customers don’t count so cheers for ruining my lunch.

Called in because looked busy and authentic about 6.45pm looking forward to some nice Greek food. With a friend. We waited about 50 mins for food. Lots of takeaways being cooked in the meantime. When we eventually got the food it was very disappointing dry and flavourless. The pitta bread was nice. The tzatziki was not authentic. The Mediterranean salad we paid 7.50 for was wilted and had nothing like what it said on the menu. A postage stamp size of halloumi for another 3.40! Honestly. We complained and they face us a 2m15% discount but honestly it was horrible. We left a lot of it. Would not recommend.

We visited To Kefi two years ago while they were still getting started. I was pleased to see how busy they are. I thoroughly enjoyed my gyros, my wife loved her saganaki, and we both were greedy with the grilled sweet peppers and feta dip. A real plus in the neighbourhood.
