TJ's Kebabs in Newham

Very disappointed with the food and service. We pre ordered for 6:15PM and driver arrived at 6:05PM, so we was OK being early, we have CCTV so we watched him park up then sat up the road in his car for 10 minutes coz he was early. By the time he came up with it at 6:15 it was just about warm. Portion size was poor and not very nice and this morning don't feel too good so will definitely not be going back again.

Ordered 3 meals and the notes left for the restaurant were completely ignored. No option to tell the restaurant what you would like on your order so I left the details in the notes to the restaurant . This was never read and all 3 of our orders were missing things we had requested. Awful

Chicken special kebab was lovely!

The chicken was all bone hardly any chips was cold

Holed up in an apartment in Docklands with nowhere to eat except for the Galyons Bar & Kitchen (reviewed elsewhere), I came across an offer on my phone for a large saving on the delivery of local hot food. This would be only the second time I have ever ordered hot food for home consumption but the offer was so tempting that we had nothing to lose. We settled on TJ's Kebabs as it looked like the sort of food we wanted. Two of us chose the lamb kebabs with pitta bread and salad and the third chose the chicken wings with chips and salad. The food was delivered to our apartment within 25 minutes by a man on a bike. It was still plenty hot when it arrived but I gave it a bit of boost in the microwave. It was fine. Those of us who had the lamb kebabs commented that the lamb was very good quality and nicely cooked. Likewise, the chicken wings were also pronounced very good. We were three happy customers. Can't say we will go again as we are very unlikely to be staying in that area again. Otherwise, we certainly would have used them once more.

TJ’s is the nuts for a kebab or burger, the quality of food is desirable, ok so it’s a little more to pay for, believe me it’s worth it. I used TJ’s ages ago, their food never ever disappointed, they brought a bottle of wine round at Christmas time, the owner was simply genuinely grateful for your custom through out the time you spent on a takeaway. I would recommend them to my friends and have done. 😎👍👍😎

Food and service are excellent. Food arrived nice and hot and tasted great. A bottle of drink had been forgotten and the delivery driver went out of his way to get it and deliver it quickly so we could have it with our meal. A polite, lovely man. Thank you

Never ordering from here again! Definitely do not recommend the place! Order 4 x 6 wings, however, I’ve received 4 small boxes with 4 wings each. Not only the quality was poor, but making the same mistakes in for boxes (leaving 2 wings out of each boxe), is ridicules.

Wrong delivery. We ordered chips with cheese and 3 burgers. Chips came without cheese which I paid for it and food was very cold. Never order again.

Food excellent as always. Chicken shish so tasty, salad really fresh, onion rings lovely. Delivered over 20 minutes early too. Thumbs up from me.

Waited 2 hours for my food came cold and I got was a lame sorry, stay away from this place. I’m usually a regular but this place has done downhill

I really like their food.. I am not a fan of Donna kebabs, but I've got to say it was delicious... I feel this is the best kebab shop I've used so far.. Never been disappointed...

The food was that quick they forgot my chips. Could not be bothered ringing up as last time they dropped something off they had forgot, I had already finished my meal. Quality control was lacking.

For what I paid the quantity of food was honestly too much for me. Perhaps other takeaways are not as quick to spoil as TJs is. However all of the food was incredibly filling so make sure you order with that in mind. Fantastic and quick service from the driver and restaurant, will definitely be ordering again (although perhaps less next time!)

I was looking forward to the meal but my kebab was disjointed. I couldn’t even pick it up. There was so much meat and it looked like I had to put it all together myself. There was a salad for me but I thought that came on top of the kebab not separate. I thought the restaurant would have done all this for me.

Sent wrong order and changed my chicken to a lamb? Also ordered burger sauce and was sent a tub or mayo with ketchup ontop? Food was warm-ish and portion small for a Large. Wouldn’t order again

Ordered the food, delivery driver called up saying he couldn't find hotel I was staying, advised him it was premier inn, he said there isnt one in area.....he was wrong. So I knew when he eventually turned up he was looking for hotel for at least 20 mins so my burger was cold and the cheese on my chips was so hard I had to smack it with a hammer to eat the little I did. Ewwww

This is literally my favorite take out. I’m so happy it’s back on Just Eat after a few weeks off it. Without exaggeration it has made my day. Foods always delicious, warm and always on time or early. Hope you’re doing okay and keeping safe x

The lamb was hard and chewy and the fried chicken was weird!

No sauces included, soggy chips, ordered no salad but got it, won't be ordering again

The delivery time we were given was nearly an hour after I placed the order then it was an additional 45 mins late. So some chips and kebab meat took 1hr 45 mins to deliver. Food was lukewarm and the bread was soggy.

Food was cold, chips were disgusting! Salad was soggy and looked like it was going off Had to throw it in the bin!

Food mostly cold, flavours on kebabs are just OK and not enough to cover the cold food. Portion on lamb was small chicken shish was OK.

Lovely chicken and doner kebabs made with good quality meat and large portions too. Salads were very heavy with the onions and the pickled chillies too acidic. Would definitely order again but ask for no onions and chillies.

I was ordered mix kebab,but there were 1 skewer of kofte and 2 pitta bread. It’s not right.i was spend around £23 and it’s not value of my money.

Best to describe it as veg kebab as there was only 4 strips of meat shavings! It’s a shame that they should think swindling customers is the best way to grow their business.

Waited in the restaurant for 20 mins. Restaurant owner was sitting in the back having his lunch, served another customer, and then walked back to the back room before realising I was still there. Had my order on the side the whole time which had been sitting there getting cold. Food was cold and soggy due to this.

The stole my money . I paid with my card and it said it was declined so I paid cash . Then realized that it was also taken from my card. I paid twice for The order and they refuse to give me back my money

They delivered us the wrong order! But because it would have taken ages to get a new one we just ate it. Wouldn’t use them again, and I would like a part refund
