Walking up to our hotel we saw Tish and the menu looked good so decided to pay a visit here. Not disappointed the welcome and service was really good and the food excellent. Sea bass cooked perfectly and the schnitzel was great. Really good chocolate dessert with red berry sorbet. Will visit again when staying here. Really comfy chairs, relaxing meal at Tish. Thank you.

Perfect food, drinks and service.

This is a truly special place with a varied menu and spacious seating area. The staff are exceptionally friendly and polite. Service was fast and the quality dishes.

Restaurant was gorgeous, loved the greenery in the covered porch seating. High quality food, everyone loved their dishes. Absolutely recommend the pea & mint soup! Vegan and vegetarian options were clearly labeled. The salmon fillet and mushroom linguine were generous portions. French beans in lemon oil and heirloom tomato salad were so fresh! There was also a full bar and the cocktails were excellent. Very accommodating of dietary restrictions- they changed the sauce on the salmon for a member of the party who had an allergy. Do not skip out on dessert! The Berry Eton Mess is a must-try and the coconut sorbet is a secret gem. The tiramisu is dusted with the restaurant name which was very photogenic. Perfect for a leisurely evening or special occasion!

Kosher bistro style restaurant - good steak and wine selection

Just drops into a 5* category. Service, ambience and food were top quality. Nothing to fault. Quite an expensive place but in the end good value for money. No complaints from me.

Came here for a light bite, ordered a mixed stater and some desserts (Berry Eton Mess was lovely), and enjoyed my experienced. Very attentive staff and delicious food, would highly recommend.

Wow…… first warm night of the summer on a Monday night and the place was buzzing. Starters delicious and the Cote de Boeuf prob best I’ve had in London. Seriously impressed. Very friendly staff too.

Wow. Just wow. Was not expecting it to be this good. I had the beef carpaccio followed by the roasted cod. Beautifully presented and delicious to taste. All washed down with a bottle of Teal Lake wine. So we full couldn't eat dessert

Service slightly slow , otherwise top quality

I have never had a bad meal in London but this made it so terrible. Yes understand the restaurant was kosher but the meat is premade with no alterations to be made for it to be cooked rare or medium rare you want it. My burger was a hockey puck and the only thing that saved it was the runny egg, that was not given on the first go around after being sent back to the kitchen. The price alone isn’t worth it for any restaurant. Dry meatballs, overcooked steak, and nothing made this experience enjoyable which was sad as we were there for a birthday celebration.

It’s a must visit place if you looking for Kosher food. Food was very tasty and very lovely atmosphere. Nice selection of drinks and desserts. Be aware they get quite busy so book in advance. Highly recommended.!!

Took a party of 10 to eat on Mother’s Day, march 2024. Nice ambience, but then it all went disastrously wrong. Waiter took order 4 times, couldn’t seem to work the system (online) and his notes (written). He spent no time managing the chef’s and there was no head waiter to help. The food is average but that’s not the issue, albeit expensive (glatt kosher) but we waited 60 minutes (!!!) to be served our food, which came piece-meal, over a time of 60 minutes, even then they missed several dishes. It was a disaster. Worse still, the waiter was distracted elsewhere, front of house manager made excuses while she looked disinterested and the chefs didn’t even know what we were talking about when we confronted them to ask “where is the bloody food???”. Expensive and the worse service I’ve experienced in London to date, in 30 years. Don’t come here, it’s a shambles. Paid for food we didn’t eat, that was cold, and while quality of meat acceptable it’s all undone in staff who don’t care about their customers. Go elsewhere.

It is a great place to celebrate any occasion as well as just for a relaxing night out or a get-together in general.Service is great, the food is very tasty, the choice is always good as they update it periodically as well as the daily specials are always recommended.

The event manager, Veronica, had an immediate understanding of what we wanted and effected meticulous attention to detail in the execution such that our experience could not have been better. Even small things that Veronica suggested off the cuff were to the point and much appreciated. It all made for a wonderful experience that everyone enjoyed. Thank you.

A lovely Roast Beef lunch. Comfortable seating and attentive service.

Having read the reviews about Tish I was looking forward to a dinner here. However the delivery on the night was disappointing to say the least. The first thing seems to be that the menu has changed relatively recently - I'd seen pictures of steak tartare and other lovely dishes - none of which are on the menu which I would now describe as "pub food". I started with chicken soup - which is served with pistou on top. A nice idea BUT it means that the whole top of the soup was covered in olive oil, so really hard to actually taste the soup. I'm all for being clever with cooking, but a simple, well done chicken soup is really hard to beat. Don't mess with it. The main course was where it all went wrong. My Sunday roast was OK, although the roast potatoes we just on the edge of being cooked. Our add on of carrots (£6 for a small bowl of carrots?) were almost raw. And the roast chicken had elsewhere on the table was dangerously undercooked. Two things that should never have left the kitchen. The maitre'd tried her best but we gave up on the carrots and the chicken went back to the kitchen and quite obviously the same piece was put back into the oven ... and still came back with blood visible on the leg. Also given the kitchen obviously weren't coping the whole meal went very slowly, so we gave up before we got to dessert. So to say the least I wouldn't recommend the place. A shame as I said. Why two rather than one points - the serving staff were trying their best, some bits of the food were good, but a complete lack of care and consistency by the kitchen.

Went for a small meal. Service took a little while, though location wasn't very busy. Food quality for what was ordered was alright, but not exceptional. Biggest letdown/shock were some of the prices, especially for drinks. Hampstead is not Central London, and charging £5.00 for a Coca Cola or a tea is not expected, nor comparable to other establishments in the nearby area.

Update 2024: Tish is beautiful restaurant in Belize park and Kosher. The starters were really nice , beef carpacio really well executed with some winter truffles on top. The steak was tasty overcooked though (I asked for medium rare I think I got medium well, service issue probably...) Dessert were very tasty given they were without milk. Best none dairy ice-cream I had for a long time and tatin well executed. Overall a very enjoyable evening.

An excellent kosher restaurant that I recommend to anyone visiting London. Chic, welcoming and classy, ​​the dishes are really very good and very well prepared. The staff is very kind and very professional. Price a little high but well worth it!

This is simply a superlative experience. The food is cuisine level. The quality of the service is fantastic, and the place itself is visually superb. I would definitely and without hesitation recommend this to anybody… Regardless of religious affiliation!

They completely ignore complaints. Thoroughly understaffed for large events. What a waste. So much potential with the ambience etc. Waiter spilt entire drinks over two clients. No apology. Took close to two hours to place orders for 30 people.

Well, I came here with my father so he could try a good shakshuka, because I am not able to prepare it properly. So we went there and here is a situation: beautiful place, good looking and handsome waitress and a waiter looking off the bar and smilig, great, I like, my father got shakshuka and it was pure delicious, bit with a little bit too much something a koriander? So we asked if we could not have it, and the barman came and took it away from us, and then it was delicious and perfect for me (and my father).

I was refused to use the bathroom. I'm public worker and had a long shift... I was treated very rudely and disrespectfully by staff .

The food was delicious, and the drinks were just perfectly made! Service was also very nice and the waiters were very friendly and accommodating. We were almost ready to wrap up before we found out that another guest may join us soon, the staff was very nice and literally reset the table so we can start from scratch again. 5/5 i definitely recommend 👌

A quality restaurant with good food and good service. Decor could do with a little face-lift and as a provincial person , London prices are not cheap, but the overall experience was very good. I would go there again.

Had an incredible meal here while traveling through London. Our server was an absolute dear and recommended the best dishes on the menu. Every single item was devoured - 10/10 highly recommend.

Fantastic food Service is great Ambiance is classy

I was lucky enough to visit Tish when I was passing through the area this week. I had a great meal - an excellent ribeye and fries, and some of the best cocktails I’ve ever had in London. The bartender - Yiannis I believe - served up amazing drinks and conversation throughout my meal, keeping me and the other diners entertained.

בדרך כלל קשה לי לתת 5 כוכבים, אבל הרוויחו אותם ביושר נמצא צפונית ללונדון קרוב לקמדן מרקט , יש תחבורה ציבורית שאגב נמצא בתחום הזון 2 ( מחיר נסיעה כמו בלונדון מרכז ) הגעה ממרכז לונדון לקח קצת יותר מחצי שעה. מקום יפה נוח ומכובד ,יש ישיבה גם בחוץ (מחומם כשצריך) עיצוב רטרו אנגלי . יש שירותים חופשי חינם נקי מאוד ומממש מעוצב יפה, שאפו . המקום מתמלא ממש מהר, אז או להגיע בפתיחה , או יותר נכון וממוללץ להזמין שולחן. אוכל כשר למהדרין, וטעים, המנות יפות וגדולות . יש להם גם בר עם קוקטלים . שירות מצוין. אכלנו ובירכנו , מה צריך יותר?!

Extremely overpriced! The atmosphere is great but you get average food at best, at the price of a 2 Michelin star restaurant… this is a captive audience problem as the number of “fancy” Kosher restaurants are few and far between

A reasonable meal but on the expensive side for what you get. Portion sizes vary. Needed to add a side. We went early and the service was friendly but variable. It was a warm evening and they gave us a table inside by the open kitchen. Too hot. Asked to be moved to the outside covered terrace. Very pleasant. Would we go back again? Probably yes.

What a treat! The food here was really good. The atmosphere was good. And the staff was really good.

Tish is the most gorgeously decorated kosher restaurant I have ever seen. The place was quite busy when we arrived. Nevertheless we had prompt and friendly service. I’d definitely recommend the chimichurri onglet steak with a side of generously portioned carrots, followed by some kind of gooey chocolate dish with sorbet. My cousin had the vegan cheesecake and declared it a 10/10.

Wow did we love it here!! The food was beyond delicious and the staff went out of there way to be nice and helpful to us. Decor and environment are wonderful, it’s overall such a good vibe. Highly recommend!

Came here for a weeknight dinner for two. Wonderful, upscale yet homely atmosphere. Everyone there was having a good time. The apps, sides and drinks really shine. Complex flavors, high quality ingredients. Thoughtful service. I recommend the beef carpaccio.

Absolutely loved this place! My husband and I had the cod croquettes, tomato salad, and each had a rib eye steak - so delicious! The service was excellent and the ambiance wonderful. Michael was so helpful and inviting.

It was my husbands birthday and I had made multiple requests to present a cake after dinner and no one did. So disrespectful. The staff was uncooperative and inhospitable. I won’t ever visit again.

Have always liked this restaurant for reliable high quality kosher food and has been our neighbourhood go-to for some time. Something has changed recently unfortunately. The menu is shorter and the food has gone from outstanding to effectively pub food (our food was almost inedible). I am guessing that there is a new chef. Such a shame and hope they replace him or her soon so it can go back to normal. Staff warm and friendly as always

The place has a great atmosphere and a perfect place for more formal lunches or business lunches. The staff were friendly and helpful although not always available and a bit slow to respond. The food wasn't the best. I had the duck and although the flavour was good, the duck itself was tough and the fat not rendered at all. Very fatty and no char or crispiness on the skin which made it quite unpleasant to eat. The plate was also drowning in very runny liquid which I assume was supposed to be a sauce or jus of some kind. The starter or aranchini and the chips were good and I would recommend those.

We were there with a party of 60 or so for a birthday celebration. It was a set menu which was delicious and beautifully presented. Service was a little slow but that was simply because they were trying to serve so many people at the same time. It was our 1st visit and we look forward to going again. A great kosher restaurant from our experience.

It was my first visit to Tish and I heard mixed reviews. The environment was lovely, the service attentive, the food excellent and a cut above all the other Kosher London restaurants that I've frequented. And the portions were a decent size. I was disappointed that lamb and duck were off the menu, but we did go in the middle of the winter bank holiday period. I would definitely go again.

I’ve never been so rudely rushed through a meal at a place that was half empty. Even told the third time they asked for our main order that they wanted to get them in quickly because they were going to be so busy. Don’t go unless you want to gulp down a meal and be treated badly by the rude host with the beard.

We were there for a bar mitzvah. They booked the entire place and food was excellent and the hosts told us the restaurant staff ben over backwards to accommodate their needs at all times...

Great setting and well thought out menu but unfortunately that is where the positives end. I am not one for criticising but this restaurant purports to be a top restaurant which should mean quality service, excellent food and attention to detail. I am afraid the owners of this restaurant need to be honest with themselves and admit that everything is well below par. On taking an order with explicit clarity I d not expect a simple dish to have to be sent back to the kitchen twice. Not only is this disappointing but completely unacceptable as it leaves 6 people eating while one has to wait till their course is ready. Very very amateur. Taking instructions for an order from a customer is pretty simple and if that cannot be executed correctly there offers little hope of success for any restaurant. Now - IF something does have to be sent back due to it being rare instead of well done for example - I would expect the plate to come back to me looking near and tidy - not like someone had dragged the meat off the plate, put back on the grill and then thrown back onto the plate. I could go on but it’s simply embarrassing for the establishment. I really don’t know how such a business survives or makes any money at all. Hate to be brutal but I am being honest. Very poor. If you want a decent meal go elsewhere.

Excellent on all counts. Impeccable, refined service. Beautifully prepared and presented dishes. Elegant interior. A unique experience in the kosher market, matched by only a few.

The food was excellent and the waiting staff all very efficient and friendly. Not cheap, but is certified glatt kosher. It was not busy on an autumn Tuesday for lunch. We were very well looked after, the staff took a personal interest.

Excellent service and food was very nice indeed. However, they ought to serve larger portions of chips. The cups and narrow bowls do not hold enough chips.

Food was average. Dessert plate stinked of egg and when I complained the response was 'don't know they wash it with hot water'! That's it!

I have been to Tish several times since it opened. WHAT HAS HAPPENED!! we were all looking forward but the menu was very disappointing, little choice and not up to the standard I would expect from this type of restaurant. The waiting staff were all very helpful, polite and friendly. I am sorry to say we ordered red wine but this was served cold, from the fridge. when we mentioned this the maitre de he removed some of the glasses and heated it up. not good!! We will think twice before going back.

Really excellent food. The lamb rack was excellent, but the jus and shepherd’s pie that went with it were just outstanding. Beef carpaccio ✅. Others also enjoyed smoked salmon, tuna nicoise and burger great atmosphere too

New owner or manager? Ate here years ago when it first opened and was lovely, but now, from the manageresses' behaviour, it seems this place is only welcoming to Ashkenazim... At least that's what it looked like to me, as I saw other tables being waited on with courtesy and professionalism. We had a meal of two soups, two fish and chips: £100 As of early 2022, this is roughly double what you'd pay elsewhere, for much better food. The pea & mint soup was flawless. Just delicious: creamy texture and the flavours were well-balanced. The f&c was simply bland and seemed like a different cook had prepared it. As our meal progressed, I noticed the service getting increasingly worse and by the time the manageress turned up, the decline only accelerated. We didn't hang around for coffee. It was obvious we weren't welcome. As the other reviewer (and legend) Michael Gluck stated, Tish is the only restaurant to spell their name incorrectly...

Great service and really classy ambience, although still hip and happening. Went with non Jewish colleagues and was happy to show off this kosher cuisine. Great job!
