Fantastic place! The chef and wait staff were very friendly, and went above and beyond in providing excellent customer service from start to finish. The cafe has a nice range of gluten-free dishes; I had the BLT sandwich and potato-leek soup, which were delicious! I can't wait to go back and try the other items on the menu. Highly recommended!

We drove past the signs as we have done many occasions before and this time as we were hungry decided to turn back and go in for lunch. So glad we did and will be the last time we simply drive past. It was delicious. The food was fresh and delicious. The cakes were even better in particular the scones with fresh cream and jam! Prices were very reasonable considering everything is fresh and locally sourced / produced. The staff were very friendly and warming. Attentive yet not intrusive. The wee shop next door was very good aswell. Lots of little trinkets and lovely gifts. Overall we were very happy and will return. Hopefully next time its a little warmer outside and will allow us to go on the walk which they have on site.

Cosy cafe serving healthy homemade food which varies each day, always plenty of vegan and gluten free options. I’ve had a few tasty vegan meals here including soups, falafel and salads, mushroom pate and oat cakes, coffees and vegan gluten free cakes. They also have vegan Mayo and milks, and made me a side of vegan coleslaw. Friendly and helpful staff, dog friendly depending how many dogs are in the cafe, indoor and outdoor seating. this cafe is next to the Tir Na Nog holistic centre which has a great shop with crystals, candles and holistic items. In addition there is a magical walk here through the faery woodlands.

I'm reliably informed that the soup was absolutely outstanding although I remain virulently opposed to it. Which is why I had some very nice bruschetta instead. The fella working there was very friendly although a point off for the toilet. A clean would be nice.

Firewalked on Winter Solstice. What an experience!. Amazing! Oona leads the group and quickly puts you at ease. Initially wondered what what we would be doing for 4 hours, but between drawing visual board, arrow break and preparing/lighting & firewalk and drinks/discussion after it the time passed soo quickly. I would thoroughly recommend it. I loved it. P.S The Soup Dragon cafe serves fantastic grub & the shop has a great choice (Loved the Wiccan section) Peace & Blessings

Recommended by a family friend it starts as a nice picturesque drive from Dumbarton. We didn’t try any of the treatments or courses this time but we did sample the shop and cafe. I picked up some satya incense for myself and the pictured violet tea light holder for my wife before we settled into the Soup Dragon Cafe. Plenty of delicious vegan and vegetarian options on the menu and the mushroom pate and toast was particularly tasty. The whole place has a very chilled vibe about it and whether you’re healing, eating or shopping I’d recommend a visit

Hidden Gem someone wrote and no truer words were said. Came across this when I was on holiday in the area, now travel regularily from Glasgow for a massage with Carol Ann, I have had many massages in my time but never as good as this, I feel each time as if I would like the 90 minutes to start all over again, too good for 60 minutes!! Just discovered they do other beauty treatments too, so will have to make a day of it next time. The shop is so inviting, each time I find something, my Christmas box is bulging with interesting pressies for family and friends. The food is great, full of flavour, lots of varity, but theres more, books for a £1, fairy walk, Animal sanctury, a childs day play center in the woods, events monthly, cant praise the place enough, simply love it

Came across this place having driven past on a previous visit to the area. A delightful treat, very welcoming. I think we ordered with our hunger, not realising the generous portions. The food was delicious. Very dog friendly as we sat in the courtyard. Then went for a walk in the grounds which was very interesting. Left with a warm glow.

My therapist was Carol Ann. Words cannot describe the treatment she gave me. A week later and I’m still walking on air. All my aches, pains and restricted movements have gone. The other 3 members in my party all agreed it was the best treatment they’ve ever had. A quirky place. Great home cooked food that catered for all allergies and beliefs. Lovely staff. Generous with their time, explanations and treatments. Seriously considering a return trip for several days of treatments despite the distance from Liverpool. Wonderful!

She's clearly well trained/experienced as she talked me through what she was doing and why. I will be booking my next visit shortly but next time I'm staying for cake and coffee as the coffee shop looks very inviting. Lovely gift shop too. We went for breakfast at this hidden gem and ending up asking for them to make our lunch as a takeaway on our long journey home (they said yes, did I mention that 'they' are lovely?). We had homemade vegan sausages which even the meat eaters at the next table were ordering (there's meat on the too folks, but honestly, try the vegan sausages!), vegan haggis, and our wee one had homemade toasted bread with jam, so good. After too much coffee, we left looking forward to our lunch stop: homemade falafel and hummus, roasted veg, purple slaw and onion seed bread (also homemade, natch). And the cakes! Oh my....very good. Lovely surprise to find that the boxes and cutlery were all biodegradable and came in a cardboard box. So totally yummy and guilt free. Now we have to go back to Loch Lomond so we can visit Tig na N'og again.

As well as the Soup Dragon cafe at Tir na nOg, there is an interesting shop, treatment rooms and a lovely walk in the grounds. We both had the soup and sandwich combo in the cafe - choice of two soups and an interesting selection of sandwich fillings. The salad and coleslaw that came with the sandwich as a side was particularly good. A lot of the food on the menu is vegetarian (including vegan and gluten free options) but the were some meat dishes too. The cakes looked good as well but sadly we didn't leave enough room!

Had been originally looking for McMillans kitchen? Which was listed in trip advisor, however this is now based in that premises, the original owners I am informed of McMillan kitchen now own the benview cafe. However the Tir na Nog was a pleasant surprise. Decor tends to be on the rustic/holistic/hippyish style, which is actually very relaxing. The cafe is quite small, however in the rare good weather in Scotland there is a courtyard area with some additional tables.

The meal itself was very good, but the glasses were dirty. I asked for said glasses to be replaced and, after a lengthy wait they arrived and proved no better than the first pair. I again asked for clean glasses and, after another lengthy wait ,the waitress brought a pair of freshly washed dripping wet ones; which were wearily accepted. Whilst we ate our meal I noticed the cake display cabinet, also made of glass, was smeared and dirty looking. These things should be pristine in an eating establishment.

I chose the Hot Stones Massage which I have had on previous occasions at other venues but I have to say this massage was the best I have ever had. I don't think there was a joint or muscle left untreated and my sister, who for the first time chose the Hot Bamboo Massage said the same thing. Included in our voucher was the treatment and a cream tea or soup. I had the scone which was freshly baked and delicious and my sister chose the homemade soup which she said was delicious too. Visited Tir na nOg many times over the years but this is the first time I have been back since they had done the shop and cafe up.Just as I remember it but more amazing. The food would top that of a five star restaurant, in my humble opinion. The nachos were amazing and I opted for the small portion which was just enough, lovely and very tasty. The paninni was amazing as well and my friend had a wrap which she loved. I had the strawberry meringue dessert and friend had the crispy cake which she could not finish but said it was well delicious. So if you are going for a visit the food is out of this world and the staff are lovely and friendly.I had set myself a limit to spend in the shop but went well over it as there was so many nice things to buy. From scented candles to lovely little angels there is something for everyone to purchase and they accept cash or credit and debit cards. The shop is set out differently now but gives you more space to walk around. If you had someone in a wheelchair it may be a bit more difficult to get them into the shop but phone ahead and see if they can accommodate. All in all a lovely drive through some of the most wonderful countryside and in about an hour from Glasgow takes you to a little bit of heaven.

If you’re passing definitely worth stopping even just for a coffee and cake.
