Missing items..not for the first time

Not for the first tine missing items from my delivery. An hour later and nothing turned up as promised. Useless. Want a refund. See other bad reviews...they always miss items. Will nevervuse again. This happens too often.

First time using takeaway albeit mid week so may be quieter. Quick delivery and food was amazing. Lots of chicken in the tikka masala, not too tomatoey, perfect! Would 100% use again

I do understand though it’s because of Valentine’s weekend and probably very busy but one thing I would have liked if I had a text or email to update the delivery time before I my text But apart from that the food was delicious 😊

I'm not usually one for leaving a review but I feel its my duty to warn people of this awful place. Second time I've ordered from Tiptree Spice and it will be the last. I should have learnt from my first experience but thought they may have had an off day. Food arrived 30 minutes late which I can let go but the food was dreadful. Swimming in oil, which had seeped out into the bag then onto my kitchen worktops, dry meat and tasteless. Never again!

2nd time ordering , 2nd time items missing called to let them know . They offered to send out but then called later to say they to busy and it to far.

Don’t usuals have a problem with our orders but this time we were very disappointed. Food arrived warm but not piping hot, the naan bread was like rubber and everything was very oily!

90 mins late, not sure what arrived was a Balti that we ordered. Rang twice and told wouldn’t be long

The food that arrived was lovely, however it was missing onion bhajis and we were unable to get through to you to tell you. Also at 7.30 it said it had been delivered however it didn’t arrive until 8.10, 40 minutes late without any notice!

Over an Hour later. In the end went to get the food. They gave me the wrong curry and plain poppadoms instead of spicy. Never ever coming back again!

absolute joke, ordered from here many times before, luckily their food is amazing as that's all they've got going for them but waited 40minutes in store to collect an order that apparently was ready. Then the order was wrong, the staff handled this great and took the food back to correct the order but then when I get home again, it was missing chips that was there before! lost all faith in this establishment now and sorry to say will probably not be ordering again anytime soon.

Food was not delivered, restaurant wouldn't answer the phone. Had to drive to the restaurant to complain in the end.

Second time! What is the point of putting Please make my Tiptree special vindaloo hot??? And it arrives not even madras,!!!!

Not only 1 hour late I even put in notes spicy popodums and plain turned up. Which means my wife now won't eat her meal which is upsetting. And a waste of money.

Avoid! Tasteless and cold food, late delivery and did not read just eat notes to adjust order. Called to ask for replacement curry and would not assist.

Little bit slow on the delivery but worth the wait, the food was great! Definitely recommend

No cooked. onions with the chicken tikka ! Fresh tomatoes in all dishes when I requested them not to be included!!

The food came cold and I want full refund back into my bank account I am not happy I had to chuck food in the bin and o had to go order elsewhere my food was hot I am not made of money soo I want full refund back into my bank account not on just eat app

Chef obviously can’t tell the difference between Chicken and Lamb, but otherwise ok.

Ordered our meal tonight and was delivered earlier than expected it arrived 20 minutes after ordering and was hot and yummy. Great service and great food as always.

Order some food for the 4 of us. chicken korma was missing from the order. we called back and the bloke said he was re sending the food. then called back an hour later asking where the food was and we have already waited an hour and he told us to wait again! not ordering from hear again waste of time

as always the food is lovely and it is hot and delicious. it arrived 10 mins early so even better.

Tiptree Spice is the only Indian takeaway we order from. portions are good, food is tasty delivery is always quicker than anticipated

Absolutely shocking. Took 3 1/2 hours to turn up!! Said 45 minutes when ordering from Justeat. Kept saying it was 20 minutes away and then said oh we thought it was cancelled..

Had to call and chase up order multiple times. Restaurant told me they were waiting for a driver. One incorrect food item - Pilau rice. Should have been mushroom rice.

Best Reshmi Kebab I’ve had and I’ve had a few. Food is always great here and they’re very generous with meat in the dishes. Unlike a lot of places. Good phall too. Not too lethal. But nice and hot 🌶️

Normally excellent however both dishes were supposed to be vegetable but one had chicken in the dish . Couldn’t wait for a replacement regrettably.

Order didn't arrive until 9pm despite ordering at 7.15pm....and once it did arrive the drink was missing. Will not be ordering again.

Absolutely delicious! Portions are generous, chicken tikka masala had plenty of meat in and so did the lamb biriyani, didn't find them oily, watery or dry for that matter! Really flavourful, and they even chucked in a freebie! Gathered they would be busy on a Saturday night so I ordered and waited whilst I was there and food was ready within 15-20 minutes. Restored my faith in the takeaways of Tiptree, will be returning, pleasant staff also, thank you! :)

Food was late, so lukewarm. which is shame as I would have probably used this takeaway again. They have a good menu. But probably won't now very disappointed

Over an hour late and very rude on the phone. No apology or anything. Avoid at all costs.

Food was ok ordered a sag aloo as part of order but got a Bombay potato

Had a takeaway from here was honestly the worst I have ever had disgusting, meat was all fat the amount of oil in the dishes was ridiculous the hole meal I chucked in the bin, I would of got more enjoyment chucking the £40 out my car window. And they forgot my chutney

I had to go and collect it. I should have received my order at 8.10pm and that was bad enough considering I ordered at 6.45pm After finally loosing my patience and spoke to them on phone I went to collect just before 9.00pm. This is totally unacceptable.

I literally had to drive to the restaurant to pick up my order.

Vile!!!!! I’ve ordered here for 2 years but the lamb was so chewy and fatty I couldn’t even chew to swallow it!!!! Refund my lamb dansak immediately as inedible!!!!!

Driver caller to say he was outside. He was not. Pulled round the corner after a few minutes Onion bargies Dry oily couldn’t eat them the bag was soaked in oil.

Food is always of consistent quality from this takeaway. Never a bad meal. Highly recommended

Delivered late and it was the wrong order so had to wait even longer for our order. Food tasted a bit like soap but has been lovely previously.

The food was fine and there was just a little lateness on the order. The app confused things though as it made out I'd already received the food, whereas it hadn't been delivered - so I called the restaurant to check.

There was a bit of a hiccup with the order but this was rectified without issue as soon as was practical.

Phall is nice and spicy and generally quality of the food is spot on.

order was around 25-30 minutes late. when i rang to see if it had been delivered, they weren’t very informative. change the status from delivered to on its way when i questioned where it was. when it arrived it wasn’t hot - it was luke warm

Food was ok not the best masala I’ve had was quite vinergary. The wife was a pleased with hers though. Everything else was good. Delivered early and the driver was very friendly

Curry is just so full of flavour, just the right amount of spice, everything was cooked to perfection, will 1000% be ordering from here again.

Food was absolutely amazing. But part of the order was missed and it was so late (9.45pm) that it was too late to really enjoy. Plastic pieces in the one rice we received (2 were ordered)

Such a shame yet second time in a row you have got my order wrong ?? We always like our Bombay potatoes Vindaloo hot but yet again they have turned up plain. This means that all our family have not eaten our meal due to will all like a bit of spice. Not sure if it’s the chef or person taking the orders??
