Nice bar, shame about the cider, which was all excessively sweet. Tried the Hogan's and it was like syrup. Avoided the mango and rhubarb options. Tried the only other cider on tap whose name I now forget, and it was also far too sweet. Thankfully I'd only ordered a half pint. Gave up and moved on after that. I'm not asking for the dryest of dry cider - I'll drink a Thatchers blood orange or lemon happily - but there just wasn't anything there for me.

Just drinking. Beers on offer changed in 24 hours. Tiny rebel and guest range superb.

We were treated to lunch here by some friends and would absolutely come back again. We arrived early doors and were glad we did as the place did fill up fast. Music was really great too which meant we ended up spending ages here just chatting, drinking, and enjoying ourselves. We tried the following and ranked our favourites in order of most favourite on the right, to least favourite on the left.... But your preference may vary... That's the fun.

The beers are excellent. The food was very disappointing. I had the Nashville hot. To start with it wasn't hot, then it was incredibly crispy and dark. But the worst part was the chips, so covered in salt I couldn't eat half of them

Food & beer was great as always, but service was a little slow

Long wait for food and when it did come it was mediocre! The venue was lovely but a few of the staff came across as a little rude.

We were staying in Cardiff for the weekend and we were told to check out Tiny Rebel. We tried to on our first evening there, but it was absolutely rammed and we couldn't get in (the sign of a good place!).We returned earlier on the Sunday and enjoyed a lovely pint of Hogan's cider sat in the sun.

The place seemed great for students. Honestly not my scene as I'd tried the beers already in Newport and they're just not how I like, but it's great to see local brews and people did rave about them! I did like the cider, very tasty. I wouldn't go back as music, staff, atmosphere wasn't the kind of place I frequent but id tell others that it's there.

Excelente place, good vibe and nice environment all around. Multiple rooms and Private places to hire as well. Only issues for me was the prices being higher than I expected - £5.25 for a pint is way to expensive...

Visited on Bank Holiday Monday. Quite busy but found seating inside easily. Had a lovely lunch with good ales to wash it down. Great building, the interior would make a great film set.

The beers are unique and good. The music could be better. And they had no nuts.

Great bar that's ideal for anyone attending a gig in the national stadium. We visited prior to the Bruce Springsteen gig and really enjoyed the selection of ales available and the vibe of the bar.

Wow! What a pub. Fabulous beer (chocolate porter this time) and delicious, reasonably priced food.Best veggie nachos ever.Portions are very generous too. Staff couldn’t have been friendlier, excellent thank you 👏👏.

Huge selection of beers & IPAs. Would definitely return when I'm in the area. Staff are good & quick at the bar, and there's plenty of seating options.

Local brewery that also hosts beera from other breweries. The types of beers we tried were quite light, not so much flavour. The Bristol rhubarb cider was like a soft drink and flat. The pub is ok.

Amazing food, great drinks and friendly bar staff who always look after customers, especially Liz who never fails to make me and my friends feel welcome and always offers great recommendations for new drinks to try!

I really enjoy coming for food and drinks in tiny rebel. The staff are always friendly and there is always a large range of drinks to try there. The food selection here is good and a reasonable price for town center. I was disappointed at what looked like mould on the table. Apart from that, definitely recommend wether it's for lunch or a late night drink

Found this little gem of a pub on a resent trip to Cardiff... Great selection of craft beers.My daughter particularly liked the raspberry cream soda ale. Where I went for the raspberry cider which was lovely. Food very tasty too. Such a chilled out atmosphere and really friendly and helpful staff. Prices for drinks a bit steep, but to be expected in city centre. Only complaint is that its card only!

Amazing food, great selection, funky beers The Rebel fries are a must try! Reccomend you visit here and it's a stones throw from the Pince of Pality Stadium

It was my first time visiting Tiny Rebel for twisted by design indie disco upstairs. It was quite quiet to begin with, got busier as I was leaving. Great music will be visiting again soon.

Nice selection of beers and food is ok. However, very poor service at the bar. Used to come here often but never again.

Guys if you are visiting Cardiff and want a Sunday roast there is only one place to visit , bypass the £100 eateries near and go to Tiny Rebel , still the best Sunday lunch in town, great meat reasonably priced and of course the beer speakers for itself 👍and it’s always hot .

Sunday roast was excellent. Beer selection was good, but no dark beers on cask. The keg affagato stout was spectacularly good. Came back for more of the stout on Tuesday. There's a piano in one of the rooms, but it is catastrophically out of tune, so not playable, pity about that.

First time in rebel staff friendly tried the 313 larger was good. Atmosphere was buzzing and warm. Will try there again.

Decided on a day trip to Cardiff with a view ro visiting Tiny Rebel and I'm so glad we did. The boneless buffalo wings were superb, as were the burritos. As for the beers, the range was excellent and staff were great too!

Great beer and a wonderful Sunday lunch. Will be back. Takes a while for the meal to be delivered but I reckon its because it's freshly done. Sunday lunch has got to be one of the best pub style lunches in the City Centre. Never managed to finish one yet but they are great and large! Well worth a visit. Last visit today, 12th November 23. Visited 11th February 2024 and it's fair to say lunch was very poor compared to what they've done before. There was a scraggy chicken leg with hardly any meat on it. Have knocked 2 stars off the food. Very disappointing.

Love this place. Also recently discovered they do the best vegan roast we’ve ever had! Very tasty, piping hot and even includes Yorkshire puddings. Great for visiting with kids too as their portions very good value.

Went there for Sunday lunch and was very disappointed, the food looked nothing like the pictures posted online and the veg was sparse to say the least. Staff were good , but the rest was a bit of a let down

Waited more than 50 minutes for our food, and watched people who arrived after us get served before us. One of our orders was even forgotten which led to even more waiting while everyone else ate. The food was good once it got here, but I'm not coming back anytime soon due to such abysmal service.

The staff are always super helpful and lovely. They get to know you before recommending anything which always results in a beer you will be OBSESSED with until you go back and they recommend another. Came for my partners 28th birthday and it was nothing short of perfections.

Probably my most visited pub in Cardiff over the last decade. 90% of the time this is a great place so I'll concentrate on that and give it five stars based on a good day. They have a great choice of Tiny Rebel beers (as expected) but also decent choice of spirits and ciders. Over the years the food ranges from great to average. At the moment I've been really enjoying the chicken wings and fried pickles. On Sunday I had their Sunday lunch with was great value for money for £12. In the summer they have 6 outdoors tables in the sun on Westgate Street, perfect if you can grab a spot on a busy day. Another positive is that it's open until 2am seven days a week, in a city that closes early this is really useful. They have some great spaces for hire upstairs too.

Great service and beers. Awful food. I've eaten here twice and both times the burgers have been terrible. The meat on both the beef and chicken burgers was burnt, and the buns seemed stale. No amount of toppings could cover the flavourless-ness but even the toppings were scarce. My friend tried a bit of my chicken burger tonight and he literally spat it out. Maybe I'm just unlucky, but I probably won't get food here again.

Been here a few time ls now, great selection of drinks and good little place for a stop over and catch up.

Very poor artificial flavoured and tasting beers sold at a ridiculously inflated price. At least Brewdog beers for similar money taste nice. Don't ask for tips on card machines! Why would I tip when I'm buying a pint..?

Fun street food style menu, awesome beers often with exclusive lines not in the shops. Very friendly service and great atmosphere. Also dog friendly which is a big bonus.

We finally came to have a Sunday dinner after saying we would for over a year and my God we were not disappointed. It was absolutely incredible. There was attention to detail in the smallest of things and one was out of place. We have now decided this is our place for a Sunday roast. Incredible. The drinks, goes without saying, Wales' finest and the service was top notch as always.

Decent bar but the bouncers are far too aggressive. Totally unnecessary behaviour towards paying customers, especially the one with rings on every finger. Won't be coming back.

Great choice of beers, nice bar. Much bigger than expected. Friendly staff. Would have liked to see a sour beer on tap but I enjoyed the electric boogaloo and clwb tropical. No beef patties for the burgers on the day I visited, but I enjoyed the chicken Tokyo Nights burger.

Trendy brewery tap, with a buzzing atmosphere and great beer. Very nice food as well. Gets super busy evenings and weekends, so best to book in if you want to eat. Bit pricey on the beer front, but makes a nice change from the omnipresent Brains and Guinness. Also very convenient for the Principality Stadium, Clwb, etc.

Dirty and bad service ! Found someone else’s lipstick on glass and couldn’t get refund or good service. Would not go back.
