The food at the venue was very good and we were advised ahead of time there would be a delay of approx 45 - hour for food. After ordering we were advised that one of the items was no longer available and had to change our order. Apart from this the atmosphere at the venue was good and service was good

Brilliant little pub in Cardiff. The food there was amazing (some of the best fries I've ever had), and whoever thought of putting spicy sausage in batter, deep frying it, and serving it with nduja mayo is a genius. Selection of drinks was also lovely with extensive choices of beer and cider.

We visited on a rugby day and were pleasantly surprised and how relaxed downstairs was. We were told if we were there for rugby its upstairs. I thought that was a brilliant idea as everyone was catered to. The staff were friendly. I really recommend this pub for its chilled laid back vibe. Its not far from the station so is really well located.

Lots of different beer to choose from and an AMAZING Sunday roast!! Absolutely delicious. Dog friendly as well.

Friday 10th March 2023 This is the best real ale bar, in my opinion, in Cardiff This pub sells a plethora of real ales, some brewed by tiny rebels. It's next to the national sports stadium, and it's just a great place to drink great hand pumped ales it sells Well done all Monday 11th September 2023 Again, this place was visited This place does still have a great range of hand pumped ales on mostly brewed by Tiny Rebel, and a couple of hand pu.ped ciders can be had. This place is lively but easygoing I would say in my opinion for people drinking real ales in Cardiff this place isca must to drink in Friday 14th February 2025 This Cardiff pub is an essential visit for any real ale drinkers when drinking in Cardiff This large old-fashioned type place is a great music pub it has 3 really good drinking places inside it There was a multitude of real ales on, and the place and well-kept ales are a point of proof exactly what good staff can achieve 👍

Food is really good. 1 hr 15min wait was a bit much.

Had the pleasure of a wee beer tasting experience hosted by the wonderful Callum. Was very insightful and never mind the pleasure of tasting the great beers, we also walked away knowing so much! Would highly recommend for anyone no matter your knowledge

Unfortunately didn't get to go in as an incredibly rude and aggressive bouncer was at the door on Friday night (24th Jan), who refused entry to me and my friends for no given reason (we were sober!).

Tiny Rebel has been my go to in Cardiff for many years. Good selection of beers, friendly staff and chilled atmosphere.

Service and atmosphere was good, attentive staff, good selection of drinks, fully stocked bar, no waiting times, didnt eat there but imagine its probably good.

Came in for a bite to eat and some pints. As always, Tiny Rebel delivers on the delicious pints, both cask and draft. And the food was very good, especially the chips with the seasoning.

If you like beer, go here. Only 2 lagers. Great staff and service, room available to book upstairs.

Top craft beer brewery bar in Cardiff. Very popular so well worth booking a table especially if you want to eat. The food is really good and the beer is exceptional - highly recommend a pint or more of the the Tropicana 😋

Visited TR on a weekday during lunchtime. The bar was not too busy, I would say slow and steady. The bartender girl was lovely, gave us plenty of time and whenever we were ready, she took our drink and food orders. She also gave us tasters of the beers as we were not too sure about how does each beer tastes. The Tokyo burger and the medium spiced wings were cooked very well. Just the right amount of spices, saltiness, sauciness, crunch, tang. The fries were very tasty (huge portions as well) but the chef went a bit too heavy on the seasoning, found it very salty. The onion rings were too oily, couldn't risk eating it all. The place was tidy, clean and welcoming. They could use some guest beers as all they had was their own offerings.

Probably the rudest security at any establishment I have ever had the displeasure of attending.

Absolutely brilliant place for drinks and a bite to eat! Plenty of beers and drinks to choose from, and the food is top notch. I don't know what the seasoning is that goes on their chips, but I want to buy it but the bucket load (so tasty) The chap that served us on a recent visit (5th November, think his name was Dan) was great. Efficient service with a smile One of the best bars in Cardiff !!

It a very good pub in a good location in Cardiff. They have nice, tasty and fresh beers, ciders. We had a Sunday lunch here. They have vegan, vegetarian version besides beef and pork. The food was very tasty. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We will return.

Tiny Rebel is my favourite music venue. The performance room upstairs is the perfect size for intimate performers. The lighting and production staff are so accommodating. I was impressed by the two security guys who were so friendly and efficient. I felt welcomed and safe in their hands. The bar staff are so friendly. The venue is easily accessible with bus and train station nearby. The atmosphere outside the venue is a party time with clwb Ivor Bach and Witherspoon in the lane with the iconic City Arms. It is a very safe area to socialise in. The punters are friendly and welcoming. I love it there. Well done Tiny Rebel. MamaRaz

Excellent range of really nice beers and food . Great staff and location. My only slight criticism is that it can get really noisy when very busy with voices bouncing off the brick ceiling / walls. If TR can sort this issue (there are ways 👍), then it would be 5 star all the way.

Really cool spot. Great selection of Tiny Rebel and guest beers on tap. Changes often enough too. Staff knew their stuff when it came to recommendations. I definitely recommend checking it out for a drink if you're in Cardiff for the day

Nice place they took my order by mistake , it was a veggie burger instead of a regular meat one , corrected it right away and topped my beer for the mistake , these are the things that make a difference :)

Tiny Rebel beers are very good and this is a great taphouse for them. The food is also very good and top notch service from the bar staff. Worth booking a table but if it looks a little busy there is a beer hall upstairs with plenty of space.

Great selection of craft beer but seriously let down by the bad attitude of the staff who clearly think they are far too important to be serving you. (I’m talking about you, Travis Kelce wannabe).

Fine Ale Central in the heart of Cardiff.

Visited on a Saturday night, and the bar was lively and fun without being overcrowded. Cracking playlist in the bar. If course the real reason to go to Tiny Rebel is for their excellent beers and if you've not tasted them on draft before you really need to! Barstaff were really friendly, allowing you to try before you buy and we stayed for longer than we originally planned to as it was such a great vibe in there

Second time visit. A really lovely welcome from the staff, despite being by myself. The bar staff went over and above what I would expect. Beer is always excellent and the really good food.

Incredible beer selection and very friendly bar staff. Visited a few times over a long weekend in Cardiff and never had a bad experience. Always something new to try on the bar. Decent music being played too and the door staff are sound.

Cracking beer - even better in person!

We had my partner’s 30th birthday party in the beer hall upstairs on Saturday night. The whole thing was fantastic. The team were so helpful with the booking experience, the buffet food was brilliant, the atmosphere was great and the staff went above and beyond on the night. I would definitely have another party there and we are so grateful to Tiny Rebel for a wonderful night.

Service as always excellent. Granted late on a Sunday and like all bars in the area, very, very quiet. Decent range, perhaps a little on the safe side although being picky here.

Nice bar, shame about the cider, which was all excessively sweet. Tried the Hogan's and it was like syrup. Avoided the mango and rhubarb options. Tried the only other cider on tap whose name I now forget, and it was also far too sweet. Thankfully I'd only ordered a half pint. Gave up and moved on after that. I'm not asking for the dryest of dry cider - I'll drink a Thatchers blood orange or lemon happily - but there just wasn't anything there for me.

We were treated to lunch here by some friends and would absolutely come back again. We arrived early doors and were glad we did as the place did fill up fast. Music was really great too which meant we ended up spending ages here just chatting, drinking, and enjoying ourselves. We tried the following and ranked our favourites in order of most favourite on the right, to least favourite on the left.... But your preference may vary... That's the fun.

Went there for a family birthday. We were well looked after

The beers are excellent. The food was very disappointing. I had the Nashville hot. To start with it wasn't hot, then it was incredibly crispy and dark. But the worst part was the chips, so covered in salt I couldn't eat half of them

Food & beer was great as always, but service was a little slow

We were staying in Cardiff for the weekend and we were told to check out Tiny Rebel. We tried to on our first evening there, but it was absolutely rammed and we couldn't get in (the sign of a good place!).We returned earlier on the Sunday and enjoyed a lovely pint of Hogan's cider sat in the sun.

Long wait for food and when it did come it was mediocre! The venue was lovely but a few of the staff came across as a little rude.

The place seemed great for students. Honestly not my scene as I'd tried the beers already in Newport and they're just not how I like, but it's great to see local brews and people did rave about them! I did like the cider, very tasty. I wouldn't go back as music, staff, atmosphere wasn't the kind of place I frequent but id tell others that it's there.

Excelente place, good vibe and nice environment all around. Multiple rooms and Private places to hire as well. Only issues for me was the prices being higher than I expected - £5.25 for a pint is way to expensive...

Visited on Bank Holiday Monday. Quite busy but found seating inside easily. Had a lovely lunch with good ales to wash it down. Great building, the interior would make a great film set.

The beers are unique and good. The music could be better. And they had no nuts.

Great bar that's ideal for anyone attending a gig in the national stadium. We visited prior to the Bruce Springsteen gig and really enjoyed the selection of ales available and the vibe of the bar.
