Group of friends visit regularly and we really like the recent changes. Refresh of the furniture has made the whole place feel lighter. Updated food menu is smaller but more concise and features more veggie sides which are really tasty. Plenty of drinks options regularly rotated. Good rewards app as well. Dog friendly too!

3 of these stars are for the beer and only 1 for the food. I was absolutely buzzing to go to the tiny rebel breweryall my friends have hyped it up for me saying how great the food and atmosphere is.I've been drinking the beer they make for years. Sadly the brewery did not reflect the stories I have heard. There was to be fair an excellent selection of beer on tap. when I walked in I was spoilt for choise anything they didn't have on tap was in the fridge staying nice and cold. All the waitresses were very polite and friendly throughout my experience. I was surprised at the poor selection of mutipacks and beers to take home considering I was at the brewery, the beers that were available was the classics like clwb tropica and electric boogaloo which I can pick up at the supermarket for way cheaper then they sold it at the brewery. The food was laking quite severely compared to other brewery menus it just wasn't there. The overcompensation of chips was to make up for the poor burger and ribs. The buffalo chicken strips were incredibly dry and I felt like I was in post war Wales with the ration of buffalo sauce I was given. I can't really slate the prices apart from £4 for onion rings but I guess that just the price for them these days. All in all I will probably end up coming back here cause you guys are just so good at brewing beer sadly however I won't be using my money to buy the food from here.

It's a very nice brewery bar with a wide choice of real ales, some lagers and a cider. They also do some wine if that's your thing. Always a good atmosphere, lots of tables and a really good outside space as well. Food is not cheap, but it is really good. Great coated fries and a good burger. If you want to try a few different ales you can get 1/3 pint tasting glasses. Definitely worth a visit.

Service was friendly, food looked nice and tasted decent. We did have to wait 45 mins for our roast dinners and all the meals were Luke warm when they arrived and some the items were overcooked / temp held too long which affected quality of meals. Also when ordering through the app an automatic 10% service charge was applied which I didn't see until confirmed and I think it is wrong, as at point of order and payment no service had been received to expect a tip.

food is dodgy, chicken used in the chicken and mayo sandwiches is of poor quality and so most of it was left, and the burger that I had made me sick in their toilets. if you want a drink O.K but otherwise it''s a miss. also the comically too young staff opted to ignore us when we went to order at the bar, instead started to chat to surrounding staff, and had to be prompted, overall not very friendly or approachable. chain pubs like sizzling grill will give you a much nicer time.

Went for Sunday lunch for my 70th birthday with the kids and grandkids. The gluten free meal had less than the kids meals. Kids Sunday roast included drink and dessert. Great value for money.Food was luke warm. Adult Sunday roast not worth the price. Didn't want to make a fuss as was my special day. Have had Sunday roast there before a few years ago and was lovely. I came here last night for my works Xmas party the pulled pork burgers tasted like tuna had to tell a friend to try them as tasted funny she said they did aswell I’d definitely get someone better to do the cooking if the pork tastes like tuna. The staff wasn’t very welcoming to the guests at the party me and a friend went to get a drink to be told if our party can be quiet as there was a baby on the premises at 9.05 on a Sunday night kids should have been at home not there that late we went bk upstairs only for them to send security up and tell everybody to leave at 9.30 there was a few girls who needed to go to toilet which they wouldn’t let anyone use absolutely disgusting the way they treated everyone at the party at the end

I'm seeing other reviews here regarding the Sunday roast portions being less than acceptable and unfortunately I can confirm this to be the case. My friends and I love TR, have been going for years, and went for a roast yesterday. The serving sizes were tiny (I had a few stuffing crumbs) and a £3 side of roast potatoes was one potato cut in half. I don't know what's happened but if this is the new normal for TR I don't think I'll bother with the Sunday lunches anymore. I can also see that TR is responding to these reviews which is nice, however it's the same standard line response to each one giving the impression there is no intention to remedy this problem. Maybe the business isn't doing very well these days? Who knows. Real shame. TR you can do better, you are normally fantastic.

After a recommendation, we decided to visit tiny rebel for Sunday dinner. But we left disappointed. We had one vegetarian with us who was keen to order a pizza as shown on the Sunday menu on the website - but pizzas weren’t available. We ordered four roasts, and each plate was missing various vegetables with the portions we did get being very small (I literally had two slithers of red cabbage), two plates had a teaspoon of cauliflower cheese and the others none, teaspoon amount of swede mash too on each and a sprinkling of stuffing. The broccoli was raw and the potatoes were undercooked and far from roasties. I was particularly surprised when two plates were immediately cleared after two diners finished. It is standard practice to wait until everyone at the table is finished, as it makes the experience feel more relaxed and respectful. The staff were really blunt at the bar when ordering. The first two desserts arrived and one was missing cream which is stated on the menu. When queried I was told sharply ‘we dont have any’. The crumbles were cold, and when sent back, were just heated up instead of being freshly prepared. There wasn’t an apology given for this either. On top of this the portions were tiny (bar the tart, that was a decent size) for what they cost! Overall, we were let down by the service and food quality. It’s a shame as we heard good things, but the experience didn’t live up to this. The decor and vibe is really great but the service and food is really poor.

THIS IS HOW IT SHOULD BE DONE. Honestly, I didn't think this place was AMAZING. Amazing is a word that gets used far too much and this place wasn't it. The parking situation is weird, and I don't understand the Star Wars and Lego connection. I'm really not keen on the comic sans -esque font. The aesthetic is a little too turn of the millennium dystopian future for my liking. I don't like that one of the three pillars is missing artwork looking into the brew room. HOWEVER, this place does the thing well. Clean, welcoming, stylish, fun and tasty. We had a terrible trip otherwise when it comes to food but this place rescued that for us before we made our great trip north. There was a good deal on food, the beer was good. People were having fun there! It was a good place to be, and I'm glad we made it work. Staff were patient and attentive. This place should serve as an example to many restauranteurs. Also, the vegetarian chicken wings (I know) have NO RIGHT being that delicious. However, please, don't do that with the tortilla chips. It is SO EASY to make your own but regardless, cinema cheese on a mexican plate? Please, no. Went there on recommendation from your neighbours at the Fox Service Centre (Luke).

Thoroughly enjoy the beer, thoroughly enjoy the food, (both are REALLY good), but toilets are a state and seem to be rarely checked. Token refills of broken soap dispensers... all hints towards old school pub manager ideas of trying to cut corners and save pennies. The food and beer deserve better. The staff being front of house would probably help too (preference for them seems to be tucked away in the office/cooking area)

Worst Sunday dinner in town… we got the vegan versions, and I’m pretty sure our niece and nephew’s kids meals were bigger than ours. They advertised pigs in blankets as coming with the meal, which weren’t on our plate. When we enquired, we were told they “don’t do them anymore”. Appalling service as well, lazy and apathetic children running the place. Avoid at all costs.

For a restaurant that serves a pizza menu on a Sunday, the children’s offering during the week has devolved into a really poorly iteration as of late. It used to be an individual pizza and now it is a single cardboard-like slice. When I order pizza for my son I want him to eat pizza with sides, not fries with a side of the worst pizza I’ve ever seen. With a literal tablespoon of beans. Wetherspoons serves better pizza and I hate saying that! I used to love bringing my son here but the children’s offerings are a complete afterthought at this point. I am here every single week and I love supporting local business but my heart is SORE over this!

Went here whilst waiting for our dogs to be groomed for a quick bite to eat. It was a sunny afternoon the beer garden was very busy. We decided to go inside where again it was very busy a great atmosphere, boxing on the big screen. We ordered food through their app which was a bit of a faff as I opted to checkout as guest but because I had registered my email previously it said I already had an account. Tried the reset password but then said I hadn’t verified my account so had to veryify before I could reset password but got there in the end. I opted for the rebel burger and fries the mrs had boneless wings the burger was good a little heavy on the grease but overall a good burger. We are not into real ales so opted for the standard larger which was a white beer but if you are into your rad real ales there’s a lot of options.

2nd time in a row coming here since the town ones been closed. The Sunday dinners used to be amazing but I dont know how you can offer the veg you do and it's a teaspoon at most, the cauli cheese was just cauli, missing the parsnips that if we hadn't ordered extras nobody would have come upstairs and we would have been without. The roasties were hard. The only redeeming feature was the parsnips and gravy. After being disappointed for a 2nd time I wont be coming back.

We got loaded fries, which were great - Rebel ones and Sunday Dinner ones! Both were excellent. We tried several beers on paddles (maximum tastes), and a couple of pints. What has happened to Tiny Rebel? Used to be my favourite place that I would recommend to everyone. Since the city centre venue closed (which also went down hill in its last few months) I have visited Rogerstone brewery a few times. The food has been bad 3/3 times recently. The pizza last night was almost inedible. It was so tough and chewy they should have provided a chainsaw to cut it with. Service is also hit and miss with some staff trying hard and others being downright rude and seem to know nothing about the place they are working in. Poor training and poor food. I can only assume this down to poor management. I cannot continue to come here and be disappointed every time, nor can I recommend it to anyone anymore.

Tiny Rebel (Rogestone) - the atmosphere is amazing and the staff are so friendly! Love that it's dog-friendly too, always a plus in my book. Unfortunately, I've now struck out twice trying to get a meal here. First time, the kitchen closed at 8 PM before I could order anything. Today on a Sunday at 4:25 PM, I was told they only serve Sunday roast until 4, then no food at all until 5 PM , when it's just pizzas offered . I Wanted to order 2 burgers but no dice. I get that they're trying to manage their kitchen, but this seems overly complicated and not very customer-friendly. It's frustrating to leave the place hungry for the second time, especially since the beer is so good. Makes me hesitant and reluctant to drive here for third time (since they closed their Venue in Newport City center) and exposing myself and partner, to leave the place upset and hungry, which is a shame because I really like the place otherwise. Tiny Rebel, please reconsider your food service hours! Your regulars (and our bellies) would appreciate it. ***At least my dog was able to get some food here

Integrated brewery, office space and restaurant. Let's start with the car park. Plenty of parking opposite in a gravel car park. (Note not accessible at all for wheelchair users). Also had a pile of gravel inside my sandals. Inside -no greeting on entry. No idea how it worked at that stage where you can/can't sit. Unclear who works there as hard to distinguish who staff were. Table was clean after we worked out you sit anywhere where there's no reservation. Order at the bar. Non alcoholic range excellent. Prices of food reasonable, limited menu. However a 45 minute wait for food was disappointing. Food was on paper wraps then a plate/tray. My order was a burrito which was soggy so stuck to the paper and was impossible to eat without a knife and fork. Not that tasty. Chicken inside was hard / fatty and the spice was all on one side of the burrito that I had in one mouthful. The cutlery was boiling hot which was weird? As we waited 45 mins for food we wandered upstairs to find more lego on the walls and comfy looking chill out sofas. No lift though, didn't look accessible. Others in our party had a burger which looked and tasted nicely, another had "wings Wednesday " which they thoroughly enjoyed. Next the toilets. Ladies was clean but smelt damp. Loved the free sani products. Had really high hopes after reading reviews. Will go back and try again. Staff friendly at the bar.

We all agreed that the meat was delicious but the vegetables were disappointing. We literally had a small spoonful of cauliflower cheese and broccoli, the roast potato was hard to cut and dry and we had to ask for the parsnips as they had forgotten to put them on the plate. Was this because they had almost run out of vegetables?? The waiter who took our order assured us that the portion sizes were generous but this wasn’t true on this occasion. We won’t be rushing back.

The brewery with its attached restaurant is located in the middle of an industrial area, has a sufficiently large parking lot directly opposite and offers enough seating to accommodate larger groups and events. We were there with a group of ten people and ordered various beers at the bar, which were all very tasty on the whole, but because of the strong fruity or sweet taste you could only drink one of each type at most. Since the beer made us hungry very quickly, we ordered various burgers, loaded fries, chicken wings and onion rings. In contrast to the good beer, the food was unfortunately disappointing. The loaded fries were all very dry, similar to the Sriracha Wings and the Nashville Hot Burger was very boring, not spicy and only had a small piece of breaded chicken on it. After the food was quickly brought to the table by the staff, unfortunately no one asked if everything was OK and how we liked it. Next time I will try the restaurant in Cardiff to see if it is any better there.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Tiny Rebel Brewery and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, with a modern yet cozy vibe that made me feel right at home. One of the standout features of Tiny Rebel Brewery is their incredible selection of craft beers. From hoppy IPAs to smooth stouts, there was something for every beer lover to enjoy. The quality of the brews was top-notch, with each sip bursting with flavor and character. Another great benefit of Tiny Rebel Brewery is their knowledgeable and friendly staff. They were more than happy to answer any questions I had about the brewing process and recommend new beers for me to try. Their passion for craft beer was evident in everything they did, and it made the experience that much more enjoyable. Overall, I highly recommend Tiny Rebel Brewery to anyone looking for a fun and delicious brewery experience. Love the beer and general atomsphere here. Unfortunately their vegan food has really gone down hill recently. They use the same boring seitan for every kind of meat substitute. They used to have really good vegan stuff but not sure what happened. Hopefully they change back soo

6 hour round trip just to visit here and was definitely worth it. Husband loved the tour and several beer flights, and we all loved the food , so tasty. Thoroughly recommend and worth the journey, Will definitely be back.

Absolutely love this place, the beers are amazing. Always new beers/ales to try. We do have our favourites but always nice to try something different, we all enjoyed our food. Burgers and wings are always a great combo. Looking forward to our next visit!

Finally got to visit the Tiny Rebel Brewery. 3 years after Covid ruined the first attempt. Travelled down from the north east of England. It was excellent. The decor is superb, very good selection of beers (as expected) and the food was next level. For anybody that loves beer, this is a must for you.

One of our favourite places in the world (including our Corgi who always makes friends) Drinks menu can’t be beaten, quality food and always a warm atmosphere. Would like to give a shout out to Alex, we went late and they’d ran out of gluten free pizza bases to my wife’s visible heartbreak. Alex came over to give us a free 4-pack and recommended where to get good quality gluten free pizza at a late time. Much appreciated!

Did the brewery tour. Don't waste your money. Nothing to see, they really shouldn't charge for this. The bar area looks nice and you can see the brewery through the windows. Don't waste your money on the tour.

The bar is filled with the sort of great mixture you'd hope to find at a brewery - Cask and Keg, ales and lagers (and everything ready on tap) as well as a selection of burgers and sweet treats if you're after something substantial. Rounded out with a Shuffl board and rugby.

Great day spent here for a work summer do, great outdoor seating area, food, drink and service. The guys behind the bar were great even though it was busy I would highly recommend.

Yesterday I had ordered a food to break my fast just before 6 pm and after I rang the shop because it is almost 6 pm and nothing delivered whoever answered the phone told me it is on his way to me but you never believe what happened afterwards I got a phone call from strange number i did answer it and found out that delivery driver has delivered my food to a neighbour 100 meter away from my house and I have to run to get my food imagine if that neighbour wasn't innocent and kept the food absolutely shocking delivery service.

Shame , had we been informed earlier about cash only , we would have spend more money on food and drinks . My phone was ringing while driving to the venue . A bit late then . On arrival we were told sorry we have just taken over so cash only ! I went across to Sainsburys to do a cash back only £30 allowed . Between us we had less then £50 . So good choose was limited and drinks. Dominic and the young lady were polite and helpful . No compensation offered a free drink or coffee for the inconvenience not a great start to opening a pub/restaurant !
