Nice food with friendly service

Really cheap and affordable, loved the chichen fried rice. I can't speak on delivery orders but for collection or pick up the lady who took my order was very nice and gave me some free prawn crackers to take with home

I used to order from here a few years ago and the sweet&sour Cantonese chicken with rice in a box was such a bargain and amazing! Tonight we ordered and I can’t believe the standards are still the same! Best Chinese I’ve ever had!! It’s hard to find a good Chinese takeaway with a lovely woman who owns it (I think) and the amazing chefs. Thank you again I will be ordering from your time and time again. 🫶🏽

Was in Bournville, thought I was treat some family to a Chinese. It may have been the worst Chinese I've ever had . I really don't like giving bad reviews to small businesses but sorry to say it wasn't good .. The lady serving is friendly and polite . I ordered a few dishes with rice and noodles sides , everything was bland and the meats were overcooked and dry .. pork ribs were coloured bright red but the meat was tasteless and tough , Chicken dish was poor & flavourless Roast duck , don't waste your money ! ours was actually burnt and cut in to cubes ?? Dry and tasteless again .. 3 dishes plus rice and noodles cost £36! Sorry but I wouldn't return and definitely wouldn't recommend trying it out ..

A great chinese takeaway, friendly, quick, generous portion sizes and delicious food. Our first impression was great and will definitely order from here again.

We ordered this only because the Chippy next door was shut, but we were so glad we did in the end. We had salt and pepper chicken, mixed chow mein, pork fried rice, spring rolls, prawn toast, duck in black bean… Basically our usual order whenever we go for a Chinese. This is by far the best Chinese takeaway I have ever had (and I’ve had a lot…!). And everyone else agreed. If you are in the Selly Oak area, you definitely need to try this place. I will definitely return, next time I’m in Birmingham. Such a hidden gem that definitely deserves a reputation on Tripadvisor. This is now our go-to place.

Not good food at all won't even get into it.. if u like a good Chinese this is not the one..

All the times we have been here never had a bad meal always been very good but this evening WOW best ever even go as far to say EXCELLENT and with a free Calendar thrown in cant be bad

Tin Sing is by far the BEST Chinese takeaway I've ever had. The lovely lady who always answers the phone and greets us when we arrive is so sweet and friendly, and has got to know us now, which is really lovely - she is such a sweet person and it's a pleasure to give someone so nice the business. The food is ALWAYS delicious! Recently I have moved further away from the area, but still will travel back to have a takeaway from Tin Sing, I have never had a Chinese takeaway that has been as nice as theirs! The chicken curry is delicious and so is the salt and chilli chicken. I always crave a Chinese from Tin Sing as I've been going there for around a couple of years now and have never had one bad order, the food is always perfect. Please try a takeaway from Tin Sing, you won't be disappointed!

Order arrived on time and still hot , excellent food very tasty ,sweet and sour fish was great , definitely recommend them

It was edible not the best for me personally. However I only tried one dish. Chicken and pork special with rice. I'm yet to try the other dishes they have to offer. Not sure I will after the first one if I'm honest. Chicken was nice and the rice was cooked well but the pork was well over cooked and rubbery. The whole dish was a bit dry no sauce didnt help. But like I say only tried one dish and it looked pretty clean inside etc so 3 stars for me which I think is fair 🤷🏻‍♂️

Always a great takeaway. Plenty of vegetarian dishes on offer too.

I drive past Tin Sing nearly every day on my way to work. Over the last few months I have noticed that there are a couple of 'specials' advertised on the window, which seem to change monthly. Tonight a meal out with pals was cancelled, I did not have anything sorted for my dinner, so I thought, "why not try the Tin Sing"? Well, I am glad I did! I had one of the specials, Jill Yuen Chicken with fried rice for the unbelievable price of £4! Jill Yuen is a crispy coating with garlic, salt, pepper, chilli and spring onion. I can thoroughly recommend the dish. I took a menu and the offerings are mouth watering.....King Prawns in Wine Chilli Sauce for only £5.30 appealed to me! Thank you Sing Tin for my tasty dinner :-)

Good and local we have allways had good service and good food its a takeaway chinese most of the time its a fast service..

food was disgusting. the sauce was slimey and some of the meat was badly undercooked. i had to throw it away. ill never eat there again. i only gave it a 1 star rating because their was no option for 0 stars. dont waste your money.

Easily the best takeaway in the Selly Oak area - living up the road I have been using Tin Sing for years and have never had a bad meal. Very tasty food, good portions and really friendly staff, what more could you want?

Since moving to Selly Park a few years ago we struggled to find a good Chinese until we came across Tin Sing the food is always of high quality,the delivery service is good, the staff are so friendly and helpful and the prices are very good I would definitely recommend people to try this Chinese you wont be disappointed

Fantastic food, have pretty much worked my way down the menu over the years, can't fault it. lovely friendly staff. Great delivery service too. Thoroughly recommend this place :-)

Love the place, the owner is super bubbly and friendly, I talked her through a dish I had years ago, somewhere else and she recreated it perfectly, I can always ask her to spice a dish up, or remove an item without being told 'that's how the dish comes' try the jil yim wings and ribs... If you like heat... Ask for extra hot, extra hot curry is delicious here.

We've newly moved to Selly Oak and being keen to try the local places, ordered takeaway from here. Easily one of the best Chinese takeaways around. Good portion sizes, tasty food and myself and my wife can get a good feast for less than £15 on most occasions. Normally ready for pick up in 10 minutes, and you often get a bonus of fortune cookies included too. Can't fault it!
