With 2 close relatives seriously ill and in the hospital for weeks I've eaten here a few times. It's a staff canteen with access for the public. The food a bit "school dinners" and more expensive than you might expect. But the staff do their best, obviously short staffed but still take time to help vulnerable visitors. Witnessed several occasions where they went out of their way to help disabled customers. My brother's face having his first cooked breakfast after 4 weeks on the ward will stay with me!

Staff is very rude, our otherwise nice day was turned into an embarrassment and bitterness due to their attitude.

My wife and i had spent a long morning at pinderfields and after reciving some upsetting news we decided to go for a coffee and some food so i joined the queue to order only for this little prat to start shouting at me shouting OI this is for dr's only so get to the other side of the canteen and order there and when i asked him why he had treated me like this he completely ignored me so we went to other side to order and when we got the food it was disgusting and my dogs would had turned there noses up at it so that was the first and last time we ever went there.

Food ok, if a bit like school dinners and a bit pricey. Some of the serving staff however are horrible. I appreciate that Covid rules are currently in place but there are no signs anywhere telling customers what to do, so instead, staff just shout and appear to take delight in humiliating and belittling customers. The young man on the till today was especially vile, with a customer behind me commenting that he was ‘horrendous’, bellowing at people and generally acting like a little dictator. This isn’t just a staff canteen, it’s a mid-priced cafe and we are paying customers. I wouldn’t tolerate this abysmal service in any other establishment, so why are we expected to tolerate it just because it’s in the hospital where we work.

Called in today for lunch while visiting hospital. Had Moussaka, good quality and large portions. Have previously breakfasted here and as said in a previous review you can build your own breakfast by choosing the items you like best. Again good quality, and quantity can be what you want it to be, and very good value. Would put weight on if I dined here too often.

My wife and I were visiting some one in hospital on Sunday 10/09/17 and went down for some thing to eat at 14.00 hrs, there was some slices of grey beef, some gammon that did not look very nice and chicken pie. We had had the chicken pie mine with chips the wife with roast potatoes and gravy. When we sat down every thing was luke warm my chips were solid so you could not chew them, the chicken pie was packed with bits of chicken but it was overcooked and dry it was like chewing saw dust. The elderly lady who was in front of us at the counter had got the gammon and was sat down next to us, she asked me if my chips were cold as well I said yes and when she tried to cut her gammon she could not get through it so she picked it up to take a bite and it streched like a elastic band as she tried to bite some off. This utter garbage cost us £9.90, the wife said we might as well flushed the £10 down the toilet. I would advise anyone to take their own or get some thing else where.

A lovely cafe to say it is in a hospital. Spacious, airy, clean, great food at very reasonable prices. It has some outdoor courtyard seating to. Offers a good range of food and the build-it-yourself breakfasts are great - 7 items for £4.88 and includes a drink and a slice of toast. Limited opening hours (check website) but well worth a visit if you are visiting a patient.

I know working retail sucks and at the end of the night you want to close up and go but when I show up at 947pm and you are closed all the chairs are on tables and lights off and one guy is mopping then you don’t close at 10pm you close at 930pm and that is fine but just put that as your closing time. I passed other places to specifically go here to get a drink and then had nowhere else to go on my way home because by then it was too late to get to anywhere else in the direction I was going. Maybe it is time to stop going all together to Starbucks and actually find someplace else that wants my money, and can provide better service.

Terrible! Order was missing chips, chippatyis and pilau rice. First time ordering from here. They are literally a five minute drive away from us. Took 45 mins. The tikja masala was bland. No taste at all. Very disappointed. Pay extra to get a better food experience.
