Una buena alternativa a los pubs cercanos de Mayfair, cerca de Green Park Station. Club estilo interior es muy atractivo pero las bebidas no son caras. El servicio es excelente pero sólo hacer bar comida durante el día, ahora. Nadie sabe que está allí, lo que es una pena, ya que una fortuna se ha gastado reformas del edificio. Si es temprano en la noche y no quieres ser apiñados en un pub con sin asientos, este es el lugar para ir, especialmente si algunos de su grupo quieres té o café en vez de alcohol. Por supuesto, es parte de la RI que merece la pena visitar por derecho propio. Mi esposa y yo conocer amigos allí como los recién llegados son siempre impresionados con el edificio y podemos tener una buena charla y oír hablar nosotros mismos.

Visitamos la Royal Institution durante trimestre (yo, mi esposa y dos hijos, de 8 y 11) para ver el Museo Faraday. Llegamos a la hora del almuerzo y cayó en el restaurante. Gran ambiente, tranquila, idónea para un aprendizaje institución, educado y amable personal. La comida era muy buena, buena selección en el menú. servido con prontitud y sin prisa por acabar o dejar la mesa.

Since writing the earlier review, the scope of the offering has been reduced. Basically cafe & bar food now. Nothing but drinks & nibbles in the evening. Despite the link still being on the website, there is no longer any restaurant. No longer recommended.

This is the cafe / bar / lounge / restaurant area of the Royal Institution. On our lunchtime visit, a haven of peace and quiet a short step from the hustle of Piccadilly at the end of the street. A wide range of different food and drink available from tea and sandwiches (freshly made to order) in the cafe, pub-grub in the bar and full restaurant service. The Institution itself is directly accessible from the cafe area and is open to the public free-of-charge so, if you have the time, you can explore the history of science in exhibits spread over three floors of display. Even if you are short of time, it's worth a quick peek at the grand staircase! Recommended.

The room is one of considerable charm with a progressive 21st Century decor blending admirably with the wide spaces and carved chimneypieces of the 18th. The tables are well apart, which allows for private conversation, something rare and of great value in central London. There were only two members of staff waiting on tables, but they managed to attend to our every need quickly and with aplomb. I was accompanied by one of the world's most demanding grande dames, so this was no mean feat. The restaurant...
