Tim Hortons- Fife Leisure Park in Fife

First time having a Tim Hortons lunch. I ordered the Italian grilled cheese, waffle fries and a milkshake to take away. The order process was quick and straightforward done on the large screens. Then came the wait. Only one person in front of me waiting for food, then about 4 more came in after. I waited for around 10mins while watching 6 staff stand around doing nothing. Then my milkshake was put on the counter to sit for 5mins while the food was being made. Now if the food had been good, I wouldn't have minded the wait. The sandwich was stuck to the bag so any herbs were now stuck to the bag and not on my food! I could have made better at home (and I will in the future!) The fries were ok but had burnt bits at the bottom and the milkshake wasn't blended properly as I could taste the syrup and the ice was really gritty all through it - even after it had been sitting melting for 5mins before I even got it. Definitely won't be back for lunch and not worth the money I paid for it. No wonder it wasn't busy at lunchtime!

went in after the gym for a quick coffee before heading home and was met with amazing customer service! Martha was kind and got my order sorted asap!

Bit mid, kind of like a cross between a Starbucks and a McDonald's, nothing special.

Less hash than bob marley in rehab very dissapointed went to dunfermline odeon tim hortons to order breakfast for small group order taken and then told that we would have to wait 15-20 minutes to get hash browns normally very good but seem very disorganised and had to go elsewhere #........brown

I didn't like it very much... the place was smoky from the working ovens, the prices were high for burgers that are no tastier than Burger King, and what's more, I received a cold order 😒 I probably won't go back there... unless it's for the donuts because they only save me. this place.

Cold fries are never a good start

This location used to be fantastic but we’ve been a few times this year and the coffee is disgusting. It’s almost like the machines are exhausted themselves or haven’t been cleaned properly. The coffee tastes burnt. I couldn’t even drink the last one I got it was so bad. Our food is cold most the time from our orders there, (the chips are always cold). We decided to give them another chance this summer and it was the same outcome. We’ll most likely avoid this location moving forward. Went to Canada recently and had Tim Hortons over there and it was top notch! So it’s not the brand itself.

I wish I could have one every day

Not impressed the food was average the service was terrible it was like the staff could not be bothered.

Waited 20 minutes for food and it wasn't even hot when it was finally served. The chicken burger was revolting, inedible even. The coffee and donuts were alright, but we won't be rushing back any time soon.

Quality coffee, and food, pleasant staff, and clean environment including toilet areas.

Nice large restaurant which is kept really clean. Food is good and comparable with other branches. Some doughnut options not available but could be due to going on a Sunday afternoon.

Disappointed. Delivery was on time but everything was stone cold. Invest in insulated bags for deliveries

Got my first order wrong & very kindly offered me it for free in addition to what I ordered- declined as watching my figure. Then brought my order which wasn’t correct and looked nothing like the advertised burgers, gave up & ate it anyway. Staff very friendly though. Pity as not one near where I live & was really looking forward to my visit.

Nothing like real Tim Hortons from Canada but is a nice Scottish take on a Canadian staple. Tim Hortons in Canada haven't been good in a decade though

To be honest I'm quite disappointed with my meal tonight i never expected this from a restaurant like this. the latice fries where scattered about the bag inside and they where cold example of how cold <McDonald's fries> that cold. And they didn't give me part of my order and there is no number to contact to ser if they can get my wrap out to me . I hope that this is just a 1 off due to being busy , cause this is a favourite places. Many thanks kate

The only word I can use is probably Meh. The coffee was OK, the food was standard for take away. The staff weren't amazing. They have a leak outside the front and they made me feel stupid for letting them know about it. I would use Hospital Hill over this one every day of the week. I'm gluten free so I just go for the coffee but it is a shame there's not an option to be had food wise, they're dragging well behind all other chain brands. They're competing with Starbucks and costa in this retail park and we only go here when the other 2 are too busy to sit down.

Very cold food with an excess of mustard. Very disappointed in Timmy's.

First time ordering breakfast from here and I'm impressed, and it's actually okay for price too. definitely ordering again 😇😇

Thw wraps were all cold snd so were the lattice fries had to heat them all up the hot chocolate was perfect

Not acceptable to be frank. You order a grilled cheese (because surely they can't mess something that simple up!) and then you see this. The cheese stuck to the paper and the sandwich not even sliced. Not the first negative experience I've had here but I let it slip the first time (my Boston cream donut had no cream, and Boston isn't tasty enough to compensate for that)

Coffees are fine for machine made and price less crazy compared to other coffee chains. I like that milk alternatives don't cost extra ,😀.

Like most Tim Hortons - if you've been to one you know what to expect. Good location on the retail park. Large amount of seating, relatively clean and tidy. Ordering through the digital screen is encouraged but can also order at the till if you prefer. Good coffee and food selection.

Visited the drive thru on Wednesday night around 11pm while on a long journey and the service we received was fantastic. I was a bit worried about the alternative milk options, but the man on the microphone was incredibly patient and understanding. When we arrived at the window to collect our order, it appeared it was only the man and a woman on shift working, but he was attentive and very friendly, discussed donuts with us even though we didn't order any, and it felt like he went the extra mile to make us welcome. I didn't see a name badge, but hopefully whoever is in charge can recognise the excellent customer service this man provided with our order on Wednesday night around 11pm

Went in to Tim hortons for the first time not really knowing what to expect. What I was greeted with was hardworking individuals doing their best to make sure service was perfect (which it was!!). 2 specific workers stood out to me. Leah and abbi. Obviously they were both made for customer service as they were extremely kind and ready to help at any moment. Well done guys.

Food was pretty good and reasonably priced, but I stood for ages waiting to be served and the guy working just studiously ignored me until I made a point of telling him I was waiting to order. There's machines to order with if you're paying by card, but if you're paying cash you need to order at till, which is what I was doing. Guy never once asked if I had ordered or if I was just waiting to collect an order already placed, and definitely seemed to be making a point of not looking at me directly. But yeah, once I finally placed my order and got the food, it was pretty good. Under £25 for two meals, with drinks to sit in, and two pastries and a box of timbits to go. Would probably go back...

A little bit disappointing. The food was good once I got the correct order, I placed my order using their touchscreen, kiosk I customised my burger to only have ketchup, and once I’ve left I noticed it had mustard all over it, which I am allergic to. I went back in to tell them that it’s not what I ordered to be honest, they weren’t keen on redoing my order for me got it in the end. Was pretty disappointing as their other restaurants I have been to have been totally fine and great just sad the staff just doesn’t seem to care.

It's so disappointing to turn up to a drive-thru that takes 15 minutes to serve 3 cars. I'm not sure if the staff are stretched thin, but to sit and watch the 1st car in front leave and then be asked for your order is disappointing. It's as if the staff are trying to "manage" the cars in a disjointed way and not taking an order until the car in front has left. The staff were apologetic, but there is a long drag between order point and window for a reason... Queue them up! This has been the issue every time I have come to the branch and it's just frustrating not knowing if they even know you are there. I don't think I'll be passing through again and stick to walking into the Hospital Hill branch... It's a shame.

Items missing. Ordered a meal and the drink and hash brown are missing and the hot chocolate doesn't look like the whipped cream was added either.

Always great service and never a long wait. Sometimes the Hash browns are a little soggy or could be crisper, and sometimes the food could be a little warmer.

Really easy to use self service machine. Staff friendly. Food piping hot. Breakfast meal deal is cheap as chips and well worth the money. Inside the restaurant spotless and comfortable seating , also spacious with room to sit down from other customers if you want to.

Standard Tims, as you would expect. My only downside was its cards payment only. I only Had cash on me !!

Normally I would give Tim Hortons 5 stars, but on today's experience alone I wish I could give zero stars... this was regarding the Dunfermline Tim Hortons only... Arrived at approx 07.45 hrs while car getting work done locally (restaurant is open from 7am, which is confirmed on their sign at the front door), but customer in front of us couldn't get the door to open, it seemed locked. We tried it too, also seemed locked. Rattled the door for attention but no response - lights were on, staff inside and were working. Then we spotted a note on the door (it was still dark outside, so the note was not immediately obvious) indicating that the door was not being used and to use the other door (other door? Where was that?) No indication where this was, no arrows etc. So walked round the building and found the fire door, which seemed the only other door. It was firmly shut with no way to open it. Other customers were starting to arrive and also getting nowhere, just like us. Again we rattled doors, and tried knocking on the door and window to try to attract their attention, but no response. This is where we started to get really annoyed... We could see staff inside, and we could see a couple of men sitting at a table enjoying food and coffees with their laptops out. We tried to get their attention, they saw us but chose to deliberately ignore us - they seemed to be staff of some kind - in fact the man nearest us sitting at the window shifted his body position and sat with his back to us when we were clearly trying to get their attention. NO staff came over or indicated why we couldn't get in. There was NO other signs indicating if there was a later opening time or a problem with anything causing a delay in opening, which is very disappointing, and very poor customer service, they could at least have communicated something to us somehow. All customers just left and went across the road to McDonald's who were open, so got breakfast there. A small group of customers eventually spoke to someone and were told there was a problem with something which is why they weren't open and didn't know how long before they would open. This was now after 8am, so a whole hour after when they should have opened. Surely, it would be common sense and good customer service to keep their customers informed of what was going on instead of rudely and deliberately ignoring customers..... people will take their trade elsewhere, so it was McDonald's gain and Tim Hortons loss today. Please, Tim Hortons, your staff in this branch (Dunfermline) particularly need to value their customers better. A note or sign, or someone popping out to inform a gathering of customers of the issue, with a polite apology, would go a long way. I have no problem with my regular Tim Hortons in Dundee where I visit regularly, the staff there are sooo friendly and lovely. Dunfermline, c'mon, you can do better!

Very nice selection of burgers however they were a little colder than I hoped. The coffee and doughnuts were also very good.

Fast food. Had better, had worse

Doughnuts were not glazed or had any sugar on them of any kind. All breakfast items were cold upon arrival. Absolutely atrocious service and food, would not recommend.

Service was a little slower than you might expect, but not painfully so and it looked like a couple of the staff were being trained. Food was great value and tasty (meat free chicken sandwiches and fries), as were the drinks (coffee and and iced peach tea). Will definitely use again.

Whole order came freezing, delivery driver whacked **** out my door and was already away by the time I got to the door, food on the cold step. Tim Hortons Dunfermline and that driver should be taken off the app; both rookies both don’t care x x

Unfortunately the double burger was luke warm and the coffee was burnt and undrinkable. The timbits were light and tasty. Shame the other two factors were so wrong.

Waited hour and 30 minutes for food to come cold and missing half my drink and also not updating my delivery telling me when it’s coming then bashing at my door because I didn’t know it was there because delivery info never changed until it was outside

Second time ordering first time they sent the completely wrong thing, this time all of it was freezing cold, my sons chicken burger was brick solid and burnt, my chicken sandwich was squished into a ball and soggy, they also sent a hot chocolate instead of milkshake.

Delivery driver was really nice and sorted my drink for me appreciated👌🏻

Stopped here for coffee and doughnut today on way home. Restaurant was very quiet. Doughnut was good but cappuccino was meh… Was not impressed and probably wouldn’t stop here again.

The delivery driver didn't ring the doorbell and left the drink on the doorstep, it was cold by the time I realised that the order had been delivered and left outside. My donuts were missing from the order completely. Not happy.

The chicken was sparse in the wraps more lettuce than anything and there was minimal sauce …. Also the order was here very very quick which makes me think the food was lying pre made for a while - overall disappointing.

Coffee was amazing, the potato lattice fries were epic too, but I'd say the chicken was a bit overcooked. Although since I ordered quite late at night, no real complaints. Excellent as always! :)

A 20 minute wait for a breakfast muffin, a donut and a couple of hot drinks is not good business. Pretty chaotic behind the counter. It was tasty but I've better things to do with my time.

I ordered my food at 10.41 and still awaiting on it at 11.15. Only order a muffin breakfast and bacon roll. Absolutely raging is understatement slowest service i have ever recieved for a fast dood.

Driving to Edinburgh from Elgin saw me schedule a stop here and treat my wife to her very first in store Tim Hortons experience. Boy, this didn't disappoint. A splendiferous large French Vanilla Latte combined with their sausage and egg muffin (the egg was binned as I forgot to request it's removal) was just what the doctor ordered. Obviously, cheese burgers were not on the menu at this time of the morning. But this was more than acceptable. Now, onward to Edinburgh in the quest for the best cheeseburger in the United Kingdom 😁

No atmosphere expensive food not the best

We used the drive through. Didn't know they had one from our previous visit a few years ago but quick speedy service and everything was hot and fresh as it should be!

What we received was good but our order was missing a drink. We only ordered two so it wasn’t a big order man’s should have been noticed. Pretty disappointing

The bagel was burnt and not enjoyable at all, not happy with the quality and the hash brown was cold not even warm cold.

Used the screens to order. Not sure how long I ended up waiting for 3 meals (15+ mins), but I’ve watched 3 people come in, wait to be served, then give up and walk out. Is this normal? Once it was ready, everything was sloppily wrapped in tinfoil. Didn’t realise the hot dog would have ketchup and mustard. My fault maybe, but was given a replacement which was great. Once I peeled the tin foil off my luke warm double bacon cheeseburger, I noticed I could see half of each patty at opposite ends of the bun. Not sure if someone sat on it before I was given it? While reconstructing it I realised it was FULL of ketchup. Maybe my fault. But I also noticed my BACON cheeseburger had NO bacon! When I took it back the guy looked at me like I was daft and didn’t understand the problem. Eventually some bacon was squeezed into the congealed burger. Was it supposed to taste like hotdogs? Wasn’t very nice. I then had to go back to the counter as there were no fruit shoots. I was spoken to like an idiot and told to get them out of the fridge. I would have if I’d known I had to serve myself. Maybe you need to put a sign up? The hot dog had the chewiest outer I’ve ever had on a brioche roll. Quite difficult to eat. Pretty poor experience all round

Delivery kept being revised later and when the food was eventually delivered the hot food and drink was cold and unappetising. Not necessarily the fault of the restaurant but I would have expected them to wait until the driver was there and ready to go before assembling the hot food items given that it is a fast food restaurant. I will not be ordering hot items from here again.
