Large coffee and really good breakfast for less than a fiver. Bit like a McDonald's but way nicer

The place looked pretty clean. I ordered a matcha frappe but it didn't quite resemble the picture shown on the menu, so a bit misleading. The burger was quite tasty, not grilled, closely resembling a mcd burger. The donuts were pretty good and varied.

Retail park coffee/diner. Great coffee. Food good. Early morning service dine-in a little slow as dealing with drive-thru and takeaway orders. Later in morning service better when more staff on shift

Service WITHOUT a smile 🫥 and a bit of a trek to get to by the 95 bus. The Cockfosters tube is best.

First time visiting a Tim Horton’s. Was impressed. The food was lovely and there was a big choice to pick from. It was a nice setting too.

Always a great experience at Tim Hortons. Great food. Not busy. Clean. Great service. Update 30/5/25 - I think people are now discovering Tim Hortons as it was a lot busier on this occasion. We had to wait longer for our food this time and the lattice fries weren't as crispy as before. Still nice though.

Quite a good place to eat if you are nearby. Burgers are good, waffle fries also good. Drinks and donuts are the main attraction. It is a little expensive compared to some other fast food but I see it as you are paying for a quality drink, which those cheaper fast food options rarely offer. Would be nice to get soup and sammies like in the Canadian ones as the food menu is a bit one dimensional for mains.

Made a change from the usual fast food. Nachos were great and the burger I had was amazing.

I visited Tim Hortons for the very first time at the Lakeside location, as we don’t have any where I’m from—and I have to say, it was a fantastic experience thanks to Linda. She didn’t stop working the entire time I was there, yet still made an effort to speak to every customer with genuine warmth. She was incredibly attentive and created such a welcoming atmosphere, even in a busy setting. Linda truly went above and beyond. I’d return just for her service alone. She made my first visit to Tim Hortons memorable, and that level of hospitality deserves to be recognized.

Food/atmosphere was good and value for money. but for some reason and this is the second time that we leave smelling like fried food. It sticks on your clothes. I think they need to enhance the kitchen ventilation.

The burger overwhelmed with sauce and mustard. Was it to cover the flavourless burger? Won't be going back.

Pretty good place to take friends, have a nice coffee break and relax. Seats are comfortable, toilet facilities are clean and very good.

Restaurant ambience was great but the food has become ordinary. Cold chips, ordinary burger. The initial great taste is gone. The service lacks any customer desireability. Could have spent that money at Mcdonald for less and still get the same result.

We had a lovely time at Tim Hortons. In addition to the food being excellent a particular member of staff, Linda, really made our day. Helping us older ones navigate the self service machine and keeping an eye on us. We are so grateful.

Never knew! But on entry I asked at the till, what was Halal? He/friendly specifically told me that beef & chicken is halal, I re-iterate, beef n chicken is halal at Tim Horton Lakeside-Thurrock ! Wooo Hoo n off I went & ordered from the self service wall point. Ordered the chicken tenders, triple cheeseburger with waffle fries & blueberry cheesecake frappe! All this for under £10, I must say it’s a bargain, although not excellent, but everything was really good for under a tenner, fast service, plenty of space to sit, dine n chill. It’s a mixed placed for lunching/dining or having a coffee with doughnuts! Overall a decent food grab when you’re hungry! Does the job fine 100%

Rebecca was amazing she was best front of house person. Really friendly and most friendly personality. Normally its hard to find staff like that. But tims experiance is really good. Thank you team.

Waited in a queue for with a long line and only one side moving, got to the till and couldn’t even order there. Even offered to wait in the car park and come collect the order to not hold up the rest of the queue. I understand it’s busy however, there should be some form of communication if a speaker isn’t working.

Burger buns not as big as first thought. That said well cooked and milkshake was delicious. One of the toilets was blocked up, and quite stinky. I would say on par with Wimpy.

First time trying this place. They offer breakfast for £1.19 when you buy a drink which I thought was good value for money. Frappes were really yummy! But had the breakfast bagel which was a bit chewy.

Absolutely disgusted with Tim Hortons Lakeside. We’re a Muslim family and my little sister ordered the meatless stack burger — the bag even said “vegan” — but they gave her a burger with bacon inside. She took a big bite before realizing, then opened it and saw pork. This is a huge violation of trust, especially for people with religious dietary restrictions. We spoke to the manager, but the situation was handled terribly. Shame on you, Tim Hortons. This could’ve been a lawsuit — at the very least, people need to be warned.

A nice breakfast, well priced if you do the drink first then add a breakfast for £1, clean & tidy restaurant with good service, lunch meals are nice, fairly priced.

Ordered latte coffee which was strong and watery. The small donut balls so dry they were unedible. The larger donuts where so under cooked and doughy, impossible to eat. Fries tasted like they were cooked the day before. The staff were busy dealing with complaints and seemed confused. Overall, for the 20 pounds we spent most of it went in the bin. It was a complete waste of money. We will not be going back.

Had Breakfast at Tim’s this morning. Large Americano and added a bacon roll and hash brown into the deal for an extra quid. £4.35 all in. Great coffee, great bacon Rolland hash brown. They put McDonalds to shame. The difference in the food and its quality is like chalk and cheese. Needless to say McDonalds is never on the menu….

Right I'm not being funny.....BUT you are a Canadian coffee shop and food so where is the... (GRADE A MAPLE 🍁 SYRUP) Bacon&pancakes 🥓🥞 with "Lyons golden (maple flavour) is not an acceptable substitute

We were blown away about how impressive our experience was at Tim Hortons. I have been to a few TH chains in Canada, and the service I got here was miles better than any of these. The ordering system was simple and effective, the staff were extremely friendly (offered to bring my food over to save me waiting) and the food was delicious. Such good value and an amazing range of breakfast options, i absolutely love Tim Hortons.

Served by Mohan at the lakeside Tim Hortons who was patient and respectful. Unfortunately, he was dealing with a difficult customer (no fault of Mohan) to which end we reassured him. He was lovely & smiley. Need more people like Mohan :)

Stopped in to grab a couple of drinks for me and the family as we made our way home. Ordered 2 coffees, 2 soft drinks & 2 fruit shoots plus a box box of Timbits. Timbits, fruits shoots and soft drinks appeared at collection point fairly quickly. However we were stood for a further 20 mins waiting on the 2 coffees. In that time another 11/12 orders were completed/ collected. Eventually 2 coffees appeared but were placed on someone else’s tray and taken. We then had to ask for our coffee’s before they were made.

The service here every week when I go with my son is incredible. Especially from Linda who takes time to make sure my son is okay and is having fun. It’s always clean and spacious in there too.

Food is always fresh, hot and tasty, never have to wait long for my order. It’s good to go into a fast food restaurant where the staff put the customers first, rather than being ignored to deal with online orders

This was first visit to this franchise. It was a horrible experience. First they take ages to prepare my order,secondly the chicken burger was one of the worst i ever had. This chicken was rubbery and hard in consistency.It felt like they took it out the freezer undercooked it and served it to me.The tenders were ok.The seating arrangements were good. I just walked out after i finished my drink without letting the staff there know and they themselves appeared clueless and moving around aimlessly But based on my experience this will be my first and last tvisit to this franchise.

Linda provided excellent service while me and my children sat down to eat breakfast. This was nice because I've always felt the staff behind the counter at Tim Hortons Lakeside don't give any customer service apart from giving you your food. You need more people like Linda to brighten people's day! Well done Linda. Keep up the good work!

Mixed review of tim Horton. The toastie was tasty, the hot chocolate was very hot but lovely. But for only 4 items it was very expensive.

Service was very slow. Food and drink were terrible. It ended up in the bin and we went somewhere else.

Great to return and see Tim Horton's thriving on a busy Sunday @Lakeside. Staff are engaged and on-toes. Stark contrast to nearby Costa. Not sure why regular coffee (which is great) is +30p on meal deal, is a staple of this brand after all.

I ordered Box of 6 doughnuts, and a burger meal. What I received was absolutely shocking. Fries were so dry and hard, you could chip your teeth on it, I paid for a bottle of Fanta, received drink from dispenser which wasn't fanta at all. But doughnut were the worst ! So stale and dry! Manager refused to give me a refund, very poor quality of food, and bad customer service.

I'm always torn by Tim Hortons. Parts of the menu are great, but some parts are very poor. Restaurant is often busy at meal times, but a lot of it seems to be that it is disorganised, so food isn't leaving the kitchen.

Fantastic atmosphere! Must try the criss cross fries! Coffee is just the ordinary, same as costas, or starbucks!

I recently visited this Tim Hortons expecting the usual comfort and quality, but unfortunately, I was sorely disappointed. the dining atmosphere was lacking. The tables weren’t properly cleaned, and the overall vibe felt uninviting. But the real letdown came when I ordered my coffee. Instead of the proper glassware or even a sturdy cup for dining in, I was handed a flimsy paper cup that made the experience feel rushed and cheap.

terrible. sister ordered an oreo frappe and it tasted like water and sugar mix. my latte which was supposed to be a white chocolate and hazelnut didn’t even taste like that. waste of money

My day was ruined when I was given a cranberry or some other flavour of hot chocolate when I asked for mint. My wife had been ill all week and was really looking forward to her mint hot chocolate, which she needed to reinvigorate her. We were very excited. Alas, we were horrified to discover that our delightful minty, winter warmer, was, in fact, rancid raspberry or cranberry flavoured! I'm very disappointed. I want to ask your employees to ensure that they are thorough and pay attention to detail, to prevent another misfortunate mix-up of chocolate based beverages. Good day sirs, ma'ams et al.

Served me bacon in my chicken burger! I follow a halal diet. For religious purposes I am not allowed to eat pork, very disappointed and appalled to find bacon in my burger! Staff need to be more attentive and careful, this is the same as someone having a nut allergy or a vegan eating meat products.

This was my first visit and I absolutely loved it and the food was great. Even bought a new mug while I was there.

It is a fast food outlet. Takeaway and sit in available. Food was good enough for a takeaway.

Best place for food without having to queue up to get into lakeside shopping centre..drive through is amazing as well..I had a halal cheeseburger and it was very nice..would recommend if your shopping at lakeside..well done Tim Hortons.

Wow this place is very slow and disorganised. My single burger took over ten minutes to be given to me. The lady behind the counter was lovely but the service needs to be looked at. It wasn't busy when I was there so I have no idea why it took so long

Placed a large take away order and half of my items are missing in the bag.

Ok went for lunch for the first time, have only had breakfast before. Food ok Luke warm and quite expensive for what we had. Think will stick to the breakfast in future.

Always busy. The q system is very odd it says collect but it's not ready for about 5 mins after it says collect so I assume they are targeted on q times but the food is always good and fresh and the coffee is always great.

I have visited this place plenty of times and can say the coffee is GREAT. Always love popping down there to get my usual French Vanilla Latte. The staff are incredibly polite and helpful!

Ordered an iced pumpkin spice latte, they gave me a hot one, went back in to show receipt and tell them I ordered an iced one, but they literally just poured the drink into a different cup and put ice in it so there was no cream or toppings at all. Was hot at the bottom just with ice. Really cheeky and stupid. Its a shame because I liked Tim Hortons but I wont be returning as they clearly were just lazy and didn't know what they were doing.

Food isn't the greatest here. The kids chicken was too spicy for my young children. It also wasn't very tender. The doughnuts were very dry. Would expect better especially for the price of them. The lattice fries were nice however. When ordering from the machines, there is no option to remove ice from the drinks. Interior was nice, not noisy and pretty comfortable. Service wasn't great. All the staff seem miserable. I won't be in a rush to return here.

Came here for the first time with my friend. Hearing loads of people trying it also its a throwback to when I used to have it in Toronto. If you are a Muslim only Chicken is halal and the beef hotdog I believe. Tried the chicken burger not too bad was okay. Fries was nice. Also came another day and got Timbits and Ice Capps which are a must try. Have tried Mocha, Oreo and Maple all which are good. UPDATE: Cleanliness has improved since last posting. Also wanted to shout out Rebecca she was exceptionally amazing today. Catered to my disabled sister by accommodating and providing seating for us and cleaned the table and recommended products for us!

I ordered 2 French vanilla drinks and received 2 French vanilla lattes through the drive through. I had a couple of sips and then went back into the store to ask for replacements as there was some confusion. Upon entering the store, I stepped in glass due to a previously broken product on the floor. No one was making any efforts to clean this up. The manager then said I was wrong and I didn’t know what I was talking about. I didn’t catch his name in the heat of the moment but he opened the drink and gave it a mix and said “does this taste like a latte now”. I tried to explain that I can taste coffee in my drink but kept on repeating that the normal French vanilla also has coffee in the drink and that he can’t make me a new one because they are losing money. He then went on to argue with me and after I complained about stepping in glass he tried to say I was wrong and I was trying to cover my faults. I was not happy with the customer service in there. He looked really angry with me, as if I stole something from “his” store.

Very busy on Sunday morning and can see the staff are under some pressure, small error with our order with Hasan graciously fixed promptly and with a smile on his face, he’s a great guy and he made my girlfriends day.

It's never as good as Canada but my Canadian husband needs his timbit fix - just wish that they gave the food ones in the mixed box.

I highly recommend the chicken sandwich and timbits.
