Tim Hortons in Eden

I chose a melt, rather than opt for a burger by default. It was a small sandwich. That was disappointing only until I tasted it. Very tasty

Dirty toilets. They have not been cleaned properly for some time. Raises concern over the cleanliness of the kitchen! Avoid if you want a break after leaving the motorway. Motorway services are cleaner.

Disappointed. Expensive, slow service and filthy. All the free tables were sticky and hadn’t been cleaned/wiped. Toilets were dire. We had the new pumpkin spice coffee. It looked like dishwater and didn’t taste much better. The donuts were ok but we won’t bother to return.

Short version: Skip it Stopped by to try it out. Awful. Dirty tables, chairs, floors … Filthy toilets Tiny menu, even their signature pancakes were terrible. Only edible choices we tried were the bacon roll 8/10 for the bacon. Coffee was OK 7/10 (Columbia espresso latte) £17 for 2 breakfasts, we probably ate about half of it. Wife is reporting them to the food standards agency 😲

Pit stop on way home. Absolutely filthy dining area, floors, tables, chairs all sticky with food remnants and spills. Toilets were worse! I would have left at that point but partner had already placed order. Food was acceptable at best. Didn’t see any staff out cleaning or refilling empty napkin dispensers etc. Certainly not going again.

Beef burgers are rank. The potatoes are awful. The cola was ok. Milk shake passable. Ordered bacon cheese burger no gherkin extra cheese and slice of tomatoe. Came without the extras. Couldn't be bothered to return it as I knew it wouldn't of improved it.

Great spot for coffee and donuts before crossing the Pennines. Excellent friendly service from Anthony! Much better than the kfc here before

Fast food restaurant, good low cal selection. Great coffee. Good place for lunch and catch up with the day with the excellent WIFI.

Went to celebrate Canada day and send photographs to our son, who we had just spent 3 weeks with, in Canada. What a let down after 3 weeks of great food and service. Food was terrible, staff not up to scratch. You need a re-think. Won't be going back

Good spot for a cuppa just off the M6 and not in a service station - either drink in or take out, also plenty of space to meet with colleagues/friends before any onward travel As expected just same ole type of coffee, and offers from the vendor - personally speaking even the pictures offering the £1 breakfast with any drink did not look appetizing

Lovely spot and spacious parking spaces with a relaxing and modern atmosphere with comfy seating with delicious hot drinks and deserts

It's my 1st time visiting a Tim Hortons and I was very pleased. Really nicely set out, plenty of space between tables. Friendly service. Toilet facilities were good. An overall positive experience. I will call again.

Had to wait for a long time for the order to arrive and did not get our complete order, missed our drinks worth £15 . Very very disappointing customer service.

Don’t stop here! Keep driving, you might get lucky and find some roadkill. My first experience of this brand and I will not be rushing to give it a second chance.

Came to Tim Hortons in Penrith as had heard good reviews from family although they’d been to a different branch. One word….disappointing! Me and my partner both ordered the chilli cheese nacho burger meal with loaded nachos chilli cheese waffle fries. Each burger had a limp sad looking piece of lettuce, cheap cheese slice, a couple of tiny bits of minute nacho pieces and two burgers that looked anaemic! The waffle fries had tiny bit of nachos at the bottom of the box that were obviously a few days old as weren’t crunchy, a couple of bits of grated cheese hidden under the barely cooked waffle fries. Both burger and fries had sweet chilli sauce, not what we thought chilli cheese would have. The only upside was the bottle of Fanta and the donut was nice. I wish we’d read the reviews before coming here, won’t be back…well not to the Penrith branch

Needed a quick bite on way to the M6 late on a Sunday and pulled into Tim Hortons. Oh my god, I cannot believe how bad it was. Ordered a nacho chilli cheese burger, which looked nice on the pictures, mine came with no cheese, no chilli, no lettice. It was just 2 pale looking burgers on a soggy bun with only a few wet nachos and a sprinkling of fries onion. The waffle fries were grim, soggy and minimal. My wife had a chicken wrap which she described as terrible. This place guarantees 3 things..... 1) disappointment, 2) a hard hit on your bank account, 3) the sh!ts. Avoid at all costs.

Good and clean, the food was hot and extremely reasonably priced; a really good stop. The big downside was the length of time it took to receive the order once it had been placed. The part in the order machine had run out, no immediate indication of your number so you eventually walk away missing the number when it does appear - all conspires to use up time. Perhaps some work on ‘time and motion’ might helpHad a palpitation on leaving to read the about the 2 hour parking limit which invokes a substantial fine if the limit is exceeded. A fine I certainly would contest on the time spent waiting. If the service becomes more slick it really is an excellent stop. November 2023

The photos they advertise compared to what you get is ridiculous, not sure how they are getting away with it. The attached photo should resemble their Bacon Double Burger? Disgusting… Mildly warm and soggy, straight in the bin.

I don't think you could get worse, it was just offal! The milkshakes were curdled! Blurghhhhh!! Just thinking about it, brings it back, maybe that's the secret of the recipe! Regurgitation! Put a bit of cream on the top and bobs your uncle!! Ta darr! Tim Hortons yep, don't go here! The staff however were lovely!

Slow, lacklustre, grumpy staff, who would rather be somewhere else. We looked forward to Tim Hortons coming to the UK after living in Canada. They are not a patch on the Canadian restaurants. Whoever had ploughed millions into this brand needs to go back to Canada wall into a Tim Hortons then come back here and walk into this one ( Penrith ) You need a proper manager and leader to whip this lot into shape. The coffee and donuts were good but the whole experience is ruined by staff that couldn’t care less.

None of the staff at Tim hortons in Penrith can speak English. We are in England for god sake. SMH.

I really don't particularly like to give negative reviews. If anything, I am generally over generous and hope the feedback I give is at least constructive! However, for the first time in a long time, this is a ONE STAR review!! Honestly, if you are thinking of calling in, don't bother! We were passing and needed a driver-thru, on the go meal for our two hour journey home. From the first moment at the speaker, I couldn't understand a word being said. My order was simple - 4 crispy chicken sandwiches and a regular cappuccino. On reaching the payment booth, I was asked for £9.10! The wrong amount, the wrong order! I explained my order again and paid the correct amount. The guy at the window started shouting across the kitchen in another language, possible Indian, Punjabi etc! I little unprofessional I thought! After a short 5 minute wait, we were handed the food. Each chicken burger was badly wrapped in some plain tin foil. The crispy burger inside was anything but crispy. It was shocking!!! No salad, a single piece of lettuce, some kind of spicy dressing and basically a disgusting, inedible piece of poor quality chicken. If we had not been 10 miles down the road and in traffic, I would have returned for a refund! The quality of the service poor and the quality of the food shocking! Who ever owns this place should be ashamed! In this day and age, its a million miles away from where it should be! The basics are good customer service and good quality food - they fail badly on both!!! £23 we paid for 4 chicken sandwiches and a single coffee! There are many other places around Penrith to grab some food on the go. We wont be coming back here ever again, nor will we try a Tim Hortons anywhere in the country if we come across another!

Waited whilst chicken burger was freshly made and can only describe as inedible. It was so over cooked one bite and placed it in the bin. Would have complained but was back home by time I opened it.

We visited because a family member remembered a completely different experience in Tim Hortons, Canada. This Tim Hortons was not for us. Machine service, unrewarding doughnuts, under-cooked lattice chips, carbohydrate dominated fast food. It felt like somewhere to drain income efficiently with low customer expectations.
