Terrible service. Ordered a gluten free scone and couldn’t cut it in half. Waited 35 minutes for a replacement and gave up. Asked three times for cream for a normal scone even though it was a scone with jam and cream that was ordered. They were busy but not really an excuse.

The menu is quite good. Staff seem rushed, hence the time taking to serve us when seated. Food was hot and portion sizes ample. My biggest gripe is the smell of your clothes after visiting. They have an extraction system, but it seems to never be on. Out for a nice lunch but come home stinking of cooking.

I ordered fish and chips at a steep £12.95 for a basic cafe meal. I honestly thought I was just eating breadcrumbs, the fish was so small and thin inside. Very little taste and very dry going, it was terrible. I made the best of it but informeḍ the lady when we were leaving how sparse it was. Way too much was charged for it - a rip off to be accurate, so we won't go back.

We had visited the Lighthouse museum but their cafe was shut. We stumbled on this cafe in passing. The cafe was clean and decor and tables were very fresh and clean. We snacked on tea, milk shake, a pancake baked to order and a tray bake. Food was tasty and very reasonably priced. Staff were friendy, helpful and efficient. I sometimes think beach cafes are to be avoided. Our experience in this one disproves that. Recommended.

We used to come to the area quite regularly to walk our dog along the dunes and then pop in to the cafe for a fly cup. We lost our wee friend a while back but today decided to go to the Broch and as I've a birthday coming up my wife treated us both to lunch at the cafe seeing as we had time to spend with not having our dog. I had lentil soup my wife had prawn cocktail, then we both had the chicken fillets and finished off sharing the delicious creme egg cheesecake. Lovely food and generous helpings and the staff were all friendly and attentive. Good value for money to. Only wee thing was, we found the cafe a bit chilly but this was only because so many customers were coming in and out (which is what the place obviously wants) and our table was facing the door. It was a cold day and nothing the staff could have done. We will be back.

The weather was absolutely shocking today so when we chanced upon this cafe we were relieved to get inside away from the rain and wind. As soon as we went in, we were greeted really cheerfully by our young waitress and given our menu. We just wanted coffee and something sweet and there was a great choice. My strawberry tart was big with lots of cream and 2 big strawberries and the cappuccino delicious - and I’m fussy about my coffee. The food and drinks came quickly and again the waitress was warm and friendly. I read that the owners are quite new and wish them every success and highly recommend the cafe and also a walk on the beautiful beach ( if it’s not too windy!!)

I had lunch here today. It was really busy, so it must be good. I think most people were there for ice cream as it was a sunny day at the beach. I had a cheese & ham panini to takeaway. This cafe is under new management and the name has been changed toThe Beach Cafe. It is run by a young woman called Claire and it is her and her mum that make all the baking that you see on sale and one of the staff does the cooking. The young staff are all very friendly and efficient and you can see that they want to please there customers so that they will return again. There is free parking outside and there are beautiful views of the beach, sand dunes and the sea from the entrance to the cafe and a nice prom for a stroll. I was in there on Tuesday the 19th of November for lunch around 1pm my friend and I were lucky enough to get the last table. Its a busy cafe which is very popular with the locals which is always a good sign. They have a menu with a good choice of hot and cold food and lots of drinks. They also have a specials board on the wall. We both had the chicken and cheese wrap with chilli sauce and it was served with home made fries and coleslaw it was just delicious and really hit the spot!We both had a coffee to warm us up as it was a cold day outside. I had a latte and it was served in a nice glass mug and my friend had a cappuccino. The coffee is very good here. If you are ever in Fraserburgh and you want a nice friendly place for a morning coffee, lunch or afternoon tea this is the place to come. You won’t be disappointed.

Now called the Beach Cafe. Had a lovely afternoon that was served on a wooden cutting board. Sounds funny but it was lovely. You choose your sandwich ( I can recommend the ham and cheese - a very robust, flavourful cheese).; this is accompanied by corn chips, a little salad, 2 baked squares, and a freshly baked scone with clotted cream and jam. You chose tea or coffee all for just over £7. We were stuffed by the time we were finished. Lovely to look out over the beach. Clean premises and friendly staff. Lots of other choices on the menu whether you just want a cup of tea and something sweet or a full on meal. They have a children's menu too. If you are a lover of Bicocchis ice cream, they have that too. They are open, I think, around 8 in the morning and close at 4 or 4:30, so you can't have dinner there.

She was very polite and friendly and we had one fish and chips and one seafood platter - the main special of the day. I think I would avoid Fraserburgh on Sundays unless you take a packed lunch as we could find nowhere open at all and ended up at the Tiger Hill. I would describe the food as the stuff from which heartburn is made and if it is a case of you get what you pay for, I think £20 was way too much for what was thrown on the plates - the "home made" pies (we had the chicken) were salty, the chips dire and goodness me how difficult would it be to serve something other than tinned peas or beans. I'm afraid we won't be visiting again - in days gone by it was not a bad café but standards have slipped.

The tiger hill cafe is located at the beach arguably one of Fraserburgh nicest assets, however the tiger hill cafe is an absolute disaster. It doesnt open till about 10am in the morning and closes at 4pm, this is very poor given that many tourists stay in the local caravan park nearby and might appreciate the opportunity to eat out and also for the amount of early morning/evening walkers who may wish to stop off for a drink. However the cafe's biggest failing is the staff and lease operator of the cafe, who seem to lack any customer service skills "service with a grump". The food that is served up is of very poor quality. It's very expensive and the cheapest of the cheap ingredients on offer. I havent been for years as was fed up being served by dour staff. Save yourself the hasstle and go to Nooks and Crannies (which though a little pricey the food is excellent and the service sensational) or Dunes (out beside the golf course and enjoy a game of putting to boot)
