Tiffin Coffee in Bradford

I went for the first time on Friday afternoon. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There seemed to be a lot of regulars calling in as the staff knew a lot of them by their names and they had a friendly chat with them. I had a caramel latte to drink and a Manchester tart, both really nicely presented and both very enjoyable.

Right in the centre of Bradford, with plenty of comfortable seating, Tiffin Coffee sells a range of snacks, cakes, etc. Service is pleasant, and efficient. Unfortunately, we found the coffee rather poor.

As a regular visitor the recognition/service is very good. The only issues are that is a bit “tired” and the toilet facilities could be better

We visited Bradford and tried out Tiffin Coffee's afternoon tea set thanks to the excellent reviews. What made the experience stand out was the excellent service provided by staff. You could tell they care about the customers as they checked on tables every half-hour to see if people needed anything else!

We were there on Saturday & pre-ordered 2 afternoon teas, for 4 people & what can i tell you, it was amazing, the food & service were spot on, everything was perfect, couldn’t manage the cakes as we were full but took them hone, we’ll be booking again soon… Thankyouuuu once again!!!! Xxx

Really nice coffee shop. Good coffee, nice ambience, and the staff bring your drinks to you if you’re staying in. Excellent addition to the city centre

Having a Polish lady scream at you from behind the counter doesn't make you feel welcome or have good service. If she was having a bad day, that's not my fault in any way. I onky wanted a hot chocolate rhat a different lady took the order. I didn't say or do anything on my entering so to scream at me for no reason cause you to get this bad review

Excellent place with friendly staff

A great place to meet friends, over a coffee and a delicious piece of cake. We have made this our weekly meeting and treat places. Their Manchester Tarts and Yorkshire Scoundrels are amazing!! Not to be missed!! The staff are so friendly and accommodating which is a rare find in the other coffee shops these days. The tables are always clean and tidy, no waiting ages for someone to clean and remove previous cups and plates- they are on it!! They must be doing something right- we see The same friendly customers every week! See you next weekend ❤️

I asked for a coffee and didn’t get what I wanted, when I asked for a refund the blond lady, refused. I felt conned… £8.10 won’t be coming here again! I have never been to an establishment who treats customers like this, it’s a shambles! Manager is not fit to be a manger if you ask me.

We prefer Tiffin Coffee to all the other coffee shops in Bradford city centre. The coffee is superior and beautifully made. The sandwiches are always fresh and the cakes are to die for. We love the surroundings it always feel so warm and cosy. Well done to the team for creating such a wonderful establishment.

Frequent Customer; I was disgusted with the treatment my regular server, a young mixed raced girl with browny-black hair, received from what looked to be two managers. I have been coming to Tiffin for a year and the lass who serves us was shouted at and belittled so bad I walked away before I had placed an order. The 'lady' who had shouted was a short ginger-blonde haired woman I think is called Debbie. There was no regard about any sensitivity or shouting in such a rude style. It was uncomfortable for many customers and looked as though the girl had been working through a hostile environment. This has been the case over a period of roughly more than a few months, where it has been noticed. She had looked to another manager for help and was ignored. This manager, Matthew, who seems to be a glorified order taker, when he can be bothered, only commands staff and hardly participates himself, whilst complaining and rushing staff without assisting. He has a cynical and sarcastic tone with staff and makes a face after customers have been served. From my interactions, the rest of the servers are polite and kind. It is totally unacceptable and inappropriate behaviour that is consistently seen on my weekly basis during my coffee runs with my daughter.

Absolutely appealing behaviour. We came to the cafe place asked specifically what time the cafe closes. Was informed 5pm. Suddenly the manager decided for no good reason to close at 4pm. When asked the reason told cafe not busy. No apologies offered for an abrupt decision. Seems the cafe has no set standards or rules.defo needs a new manager/owner to set acceptable standards.

Not sure what’s happened to this place but we’ve been going here for years and its always been nice, but having been there this week the coffee was like frothy milk no taste at all couldn’t drink it and the annoying music, unfortunately wont be going here again.

Noisy, echoey, staff started Hoovering nearly 2 hours before closing time leaving a strong lemony smell that was very unpleasant whilst eating

The best coffee shop in Bradford city centre. The female staff are so welcoming and friendly. Better to spend your money here where it will circulate locally rather than one of the chains who serve inferior coffee and your cash doesn't help the local economy.

This is, by far, the best cafe in Bradford city centre. The staff are brilliant. They are efficient, helpful, cheerful and thoughtful. But, Mrs or Mr Tiffin owner, they are run off their feet. Get some more excellent staff, please. I'm serious. You have closed Tiffin Grande to eventually open a mega cafe opposite Tiffin Coffee. But, Tiffin owner, if you don't invest in the current Tiffin Coffee with extra staff, your customer base will reduce when people go elsewhere. Thank you for investing in Bradford

Good coffees and excellent range of sandwiches and cakes including non-chocolate. All at reasonable prices. Staff really friendly and helpful. Gorgeous cosy atmosphere. My kids said it was like walking into a Hallmark channel coffee shop. Lovely.

It was out first visit to Tiffian, we usually go to Neros. However we will not.kistake again. Tiffin is superior to Neros in every way. The service was impeccable. Our drinks came exactly as we ordered and were delicious. It was very clean and when a customer left the table was cleared and cleaned very quickly. I can not recommend you go have a coffee and good here enough.

Took my little ine for a piece of cake. The place is atmospheric, inviting, friendly. The staff was relaxed, making you feel welcomed. The red velvet cake we had was absolutely glorious and the coffee was excellent.

Could have been more choice of cake but what there was was great. Service was great, pleasant helpful staff and the building is just incredible.

This peaceful little getaway was a total delight. Good coffee, yummy cakes and very friendly faces! A wonderful place next door to waterstones to sit and zone out from the busy-ness of the world. Such a lovely place is definitely worth visiting!

Really bad experience, went in for a takeout latte and the middle aged gentleman behind the till was pulling faces and acting as if he didn’t know what I meant by a latte. Coffee was burnt and really mediocre, they really need to improve their costumer service skills won’t be coming back.

My second visit as I was in Bradford today. Was pleasantly surprised to see a Manchester tart in window so had to give it a try. I would normally order a coffee but already had two by lunchtime so had a large cup of tea inside. Nice, bright decor and nice comfy seats. I had the falafel and spinach wrap. I would say it needed some sauce as it was a bit try but the tart was very nice. A good selection of cakes.

Been here a few times now and thus far not one issue. The environment is so relaxing, which is unusual for a public space/coffee shop. It's the only place I come to that actually makes me feel comfortable. Service is amazing by all but especially by the Blonde Lady with the Accent (Especially when asking for 13 sugars) and the Snaller Brown haired Lady. I always have time for Tiffins when I'm in Bradford.

Can't fault this place really. Perfect place to stop for coffee, tea, sandwiches, cakes, etc. Friendly staff, nice atmosphere, classy feel. And as an independent shop you know they'll be paying their taxes. We'll worth supporting and much better value than Café Costabucks. Still great in 2022!

Wow. What a resteraunt. In the past i have dined at some of the worlds greatest resteraunts in beautiful destinations such as Paris, Dubai & New York. But none of these compare to the spectacular food that has just graced my taste buds. The meer sight of the beautiful luxurious hot chocolate that laid before me drew a tear to my eye and filled my heart with love and warmth. I can honestly say that the meal i had today was quite possibly the best meal I've ever had in my entire life. Not only will I recommend this establishment to my friends & family, but i will also tell the tail of the great Tiffin Coffee that changed my life and made me the man i am today...

New find for us in Bradford and we will be back. Nice coffee, friendly staff, good food at a decent price. What's not to like?

The best coffee and cake shop ever! I usually come here every Friday and evertyime I go, I am greeted whiles smiles and hellos. All of the staff are super friendly and the shop is a really calm and friendly environment. All of teh drinks are top notch and I would particularly recommend the "chocolate whippy" (I think its called), the nicest coffee shop ever. Huge selection of coffees, drinks and cakes all of which are high quality and really indulgent, prices are normal but quality is top notch. The presentation is also amazing and just adds to the experience.

I've been in here with friends a few times and have given it 4 stars as the coffee is the best. But in a recent visit a lady who was leaving started to talk to me and my friend. She said she'd only lived in Bradford for 5 years so we started chatting to her about our lives in Bradford in the past. Our age group was 67 to 73. She had also lost her husband to cancer and she started to fill up. We said we are so sorry for you and tried to cheer her up. We had a laugh with her for around 10 minutes until we decided we needed to leave. We were then told to shush by a staff member as some people nearby had complained about us laughing and being too loud. We came out and as we left we became more and more upset by this. As a result of this we have decided not to go in again although we have always liked it.

Friendly staff, comfortable, cosy environment and delicious, coffee, cakes and chai. Two years on and I can still give this coffee shop a 5 star rating. This place is consistently good and I think that's worth a special mention. Honestly, great staff, friendly service. My daughter and our friends really love coming here. It's cosy and the music subtle you can just chat or even do a little work without being distracted.

Over the years i lived in assumptions that dried out Weetabix are the hardest know to mankind substance.... In the world. Buy a box of Weetabix open it and leave it to dry for about a week or two. You can break mallet trying to break them in half. To do any damage to them! Reasons why I'm on a rampant about it is because during my last visit in Tiffin Coffee i had something that made me rethink what i know about world. Definitely worth going there for the decorations it self. Not the usual corporate coffee places, same every time everywhere. This one is different. This one is unusual. This one... Well you either love it or hate it. If you're after coffee in positively different place prepare your self for a treat. Service is quick and efficient. Spoced cha was qell prepared. But i have to ask what is spiced chai? Isn't that the chai is spiced already? And in case you wonder the secret ingredients are not speed, lsd or some sort of hipster kobe beef. Spoiler alert... It's just a regular chai. There might be a taste /flavour difference with regular chai. And since i haven't tried it yet I'm assuming that the difference is thus its name. Food was good. Definitely fresh and didn't stay out too long. And the plates. I was honestly thinking of nicking it home. And i did consider my self as a law-abiding citizen. Ok ok. Food was great until the moment i attempted to break the bottom of this cake. You could easily break a fork while trying to do so. But the struggle was worth it because whag i had was something i enjoyed a lot. Piece on the fork, dip it in the chai, so i don't loose the rest of my teeth and gulp it down. And let me tell you i really had to keep my self from having seconds... And then thirds... And more. 4 stars overall. Thought I'll be moaning about food but it's that spiced chai that is just regular chai and I'm confused whats what.

My favourite place to have a coffee! Tiffin has a very calm atmosphere, there's cool lighting and it's always warm. The staff are amazing, and are very accommodating. Tiffin has a large toilet downstairs with a baby changing station and disabled facilities. They have large windows on the side that lets in some lovely light, and is perfect to people watch if you're sat next to it They have am amazing range of drink and a lovely desert range! When my son was younger, I would regularly come to Tiffins to breastfeed him as the staff made me comfortable and the atmosphere is always relaxing. Perfect place for breastfeeding mums, lots of private little areas. 10/10 would recommend, it is ALWAYS perfect! ❤

Best coffee shop in West Yorkshire 😋

This was actually my first visit to Tiffin Coffee. I've passed it by countless times and never actually been in, but I'll most definitely be going back again and again. The atmosphere was wonderful, the staff welcoming and professional, and the food and drink was amazing. I had a cheese and tomato toastie, a salted caramel cheesecake and a vanilla chai latte. Absolute heaven.
