I booked my doughters engagement here paying the deposit when covid struck .a they could not offer an alternative date so I was told I would get my money back .I was offered £100 per week .We excepted at least we will get our money back we thought. Two years on and we are still waiting for our money from the manager Craig. This company cannot be trusted and I would not book your wedding extra her .They just take your money and not provide the survive.

Went there yesterday for fathers day, it was very busy there so being there was 15 of us they suggested a 2-45pm booking, well we arrived and after having a drink by the bar we were invited to our table and although still busy we were advised to wait 10 minutes while they restocked with fresh veg. Well the meal was superb the best I can remember having, the staff were very pleasant and polite and all 15 of us thoroughly enjoyed the meal it was my first visit there and it certainly won't be the last.

Arrived on time for Mother’s Day dinner, didn’t get seated for 50 mins, when we eventually sat down for starters everyone bar two people had their soup, those two people had to wait nearly 15 mins longer for them to make a new batch of soup which was like dishwater, was horrendous! Mains were ok as it was a Carvery but just average, meat was really dry. One of the parts waited so long she had to leave as she was elderly! Desserts were read out and then ordered for them to come back and say they didn’t have half of them. Slot of waiting around and food was not great! Really unhappy with this Mother’s Day dinner. I won’t be returning as the service was just awful and food even worse.

My fiancé and I were on a short vacation from America, and we stumbled across this little gem! From the moment we arrived the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The food was outstanding with a very nice drinks selection. The coach house, (as it’s now called), offers an events room upstairs, a chapel and accommodation. After speaking with the owner we have decided to have our wedding at this beautiful venue. We were very impressed! I highly recommend The Coach House!

I went to this charming restaurant/function room with my wife and a group of friends for a Cabaret/Carvery evening on Sat 27th May 2017, we were warmly greeted by the lovely husband and wife owners who escorted us to our table. The Carvery was a great dining experience with a choice of 3 freshly carved meats and freshly cooked veg all piping hot, washed down with a fine wine followed by a few beers whilst relaxing to the very entertaining cabaret once the meal was finished. A first class night and one to remember and all for the princely price of £9.95 per person, fantastic value for money. We would highly recommend Tiffany's but would advise to book, we will definitely be going back.

Our family, for the first time in 45 years of cooking Christmas dinner at home, decided to treat ourselves Christmas day. We decided on Tiffanys longford Skewen. To be blunt, at £70.00 a head, the lunch and the service we received was very, very poor. We were to be received on entry a glass of warm mulled wine, after sitting at the table for almost 30 minutes we had to ask for the wine, and there after asked for the table to be cleared and for the next course, it was like we were the forgotton ones! The amount of roast turkey that my granddaughter was given was two very thin slices , she was very disapointed, I told her to ask for more but she didnt like to. She should not have had to ask for more! The 2 roast potatoes which was dished up for us were the size of a small potato cut into 4 , I asked for more, the young man put one more small potato on my plate, Veg a plenty! The mince pies were roughly the size of a 50 pence piece, I've never seen a mince pie so small. Never again.

Really fancied a Sunday dinner and was swayed by the very positive reviews on this site. My experience seems to have been very different from the other diners that have left reviews. I finished my food more from habit, hating to see waste, than any enjoyment. The meat tasted poor grade and was most likely cheap cuts. It was a chore to get through. My girlfriend showed more sense and barely finished half of hers. The vegetables looked like they had been revved up in a microwave and tasted as though they had. The roast potatoes are rationed. Rather than being free to choose, I was asked if I wanted one (not some). The dinner was then drowned in gravy (again a binary choice of having it or not as the server swamped my plate with a thick brown gloop). We passed on dessert but these looked like they had been defrosted or bought in. The place must have its fans as the restaurant was busy but I was extremely disappointed. On food quality this would have had a 1 rating. It's a 3 course meal on Sunday but the token soup and the shop bought desserts are merely a distraction from a low quality Sunday dinner. £14 for an adult for that alone would be a scandal. The staff serving tried and were pleasant enough and that probably saves this from a 1 out of 5.

We found this place on TripAdvisor and called here on the off chance. We were welcomed by lovely, friendly, down to earth staff and seated in a lovely dinning area. The menu had plenty choice and reasonably priced. We had salt dough balls to start which we shared. They were lovely and there was more than enough to feed us both. Could have done with a dip though. For mains my partner chose the slider which is a selection of small burgers and I chose veal. Both meals were lovely. Chips were home made and everything was presented beautifully. Only down fall was that I wasn't asked how I wanted my veal cooked. And unfortunately is was cooked well done which is totally opposite to how I have my red meat. Not a problem though as next time I will make sure I let them know. We will be back here. Look forward to it. Compliments to the chef and staff xx

My partner and I have visited Tiffany's a handful amount of times in the past few months and we've never really had a bad meal! The steak can be hit or miss although that is my only criticism. There's a broad range of starters to choose from; my favorite being the baby brie, a large selection of mains and delicious desserts. The atmosphere can sometimes be a little bit dull, although this is probably because we always visit the quieter times of the week. I didn't hold very high expectations of Tiffany's before hand, but I was very much wrong in assuming they would be serving basic 'pub grub'.

We have been there on numerous occasions so when my birthday was looming it was always going to be the Coach House. I think you can go anywhere and have a good carvery but the Coach House always has a really tasty and interesting vegetarian dish. The staff at the restaurant were wonderful to all my guests and it was such a relief to have such good feedback at the wonderful time all my friends and family had on the day. The following Sunday we held a Sunday Lunch party in the conservatory for 45 people. The attention to detail that both Sam ,Janine and Julie showed was wonderful. Everyone of our guests have said how much they enjoyed the meal and the atmosphere. Older guests appreciated the help they received to carry their meals from the carvery to the table and all the waitresses were very patient as they dodged the children who were wandering about. This was the second time i have had the duck and the second time i have been disappointed, last time it was my own fault as i did not say how i wanted it cooked. Today my friend and i ordered the duck she ordered well done, and i asked for mine to be pink, but mine looked the same as hers, i will say it tasted amazing. The service was a little on the slow side to say the least, there was a wedding upstairs but that is no excuse they should have alocated staff for thr restaurant , the staff were very helpful and professional , will go back but i will not have the duck again.

Visited here for a family wedding and it was pretty poor , it started off well with the gorgoues ceremony room with old oak beams beatifully presented parking was ok but there are no markings so people tend to park on top of each other .After the ceremony we headed to the arrival drinks station this is a kind description it was a unmanned table in the centre of the courtyard with a typed sign advertsing it was for wedding guests ( no staff member to hand out drinks or welcome us ) the bucks fizz was decent however you had decide if you wanted one with the numerous bees/wasps either drowing or dead of one without the extras floating in it. The downstairs bar is tiny and had 3 staff in it but with only one till and no room for one memeber of staff to turn around properly they just ended up bumping into each other , also the glasses were far from sparkling and beer tasted funny. The ladies toliet had a makshift nappy changing table at teh entrance but the door doesnt close so as your having a drink you can see someone changing a nappy not very dignified. The kids pay area needs to be closed down and i woyuld love to see there risk assesments for 20 year old kids plastic slides Now the meal upstairs , plus point the bar is bigger however the service was shocking its trying to be silver service but without the staff numbers or training to pull it off, Firsly the staff come around with mismatched hot empty bowls and place them in front of you but by the time they come aroud to you with tatty old soup kettles there stone cold . On the plus side the soup was incredible fresh and creamy. It was ages befre they cleared and mains were served the same hot plates with a 25 minute wait for the meat and family style vedge , the waiters dont even excuse themselves and just throw the meat on your plate splashing your clothes and leaning over you. The mains lopked awful but tasted great , gravy boats on the table were filed with the same tatty soup jug .Desserts were served immeiately as was coffee with the coffee served in the same jusg and milked just poured for you without even asking For me the biggest bug bear was the staff they were mismatched and not one in a proper uniform (one even had a logo branded black t shirt on most have visiible tattos and one waiter was constantly licking his fingers after clearing they were constantly walking around chewing all in all the place needs strong mangement and trained staff

My husband & I live in Merseyside and were staying the weekend with his parents in Neath. Not being from the area, we resorted to the tried and trusted Tripadvisor site for some recommendations on places to go for Sunday lunch. Tiffany’s sounded just the ticket, and didn’t disappoint. The restaurant is set in beautiful scenery in the hills, and from the moment we set foot in the bar/restaurant, we were met with a friendly welcome. The food was beautiful and at £13 a head for a 3 course meal was outstanding value. To start, there is a choice of home-made soup and bread roll with butter, or a help-yourself selection from the salad bar. The soup when we visited was carrot and coriander which us girls enjoyed, and tasted really fresh, and delicious. The guys had the salad selection, and there was a choice of various green salads, new potatoes, melon, prawns in Marie Rose sauce and Pate. For the main course, there is a chef served carvery from which you can choose 2 from 3 roast meats, and then help yourself to roast potatoes, roast parsnips, Yorkshire Puddings, carrots (cooked Vichy style), spring cabbage, cauliflower mash… and I think there may have been one or two more but I can’t remember now! This all came with gravy which I’m told was lovely (I don’t eat meat so can’t confirm).I had a vegetarian alternative (instead of the meat – the help yourself to veg still applied) which was also delicious ( a nut roast with barley and spices, served with its own jug of vegetarian gravy… which I didn’t manage to finish as I was saving myself for dessert). Desserts on the day we visited included: Apple Pie, Chocolate Fudge Cake, Lemon Tart, Vanilla Cheesecake, Strawberry Gateau and Black Forest Gateau – all came served with cream, with the option to have ice cream for an extra £1.We left very full and very happy. Thanks to all the staff for being so helpful, friendly and hard working. .. we would definitely recommend and hope to re-visit when we are next in Neath.

The place was clean it was only the weather that put the dampers on our visit but that didn't seem to bother us that much but you can just imagine this place on a beauitful day. They do bar snacks as well as evening meals, you can even just pop in here for a drink or two or just a coffee, you don't have to have food.Marks out of 10, I would give them 11 if I could

The food here was excellent and piping hot,it was a friends birthday party and enjoyed by us all. The staff were warm and friendly and couldn't do enough for us. The only complaint was that they didn't serve table by table and some on our table had finished before others had started the birthday boy must of been the last to be served. Would I return here again, yes not in such a big party. I would like to try there Sunday Carvery as I have heard s

Sunday saw a family visit to Tiffanys @ the Coach House. Always a busy restaurant. The atmosphere is always very welcoming , a little like visiting family you haven't seen for a while. With attentive staff on hand when you arrive, who sort out some drinks and show you to your table. We were seated in the conservatory today and the views were excellent. Myself and my youngest daughter started with the Tomato and Basil Soup which was hot, fresh and very tasty whilst my wife and older daughter went for the starter buffet enjoying an array of choice from pate to salad to prawns. The main carvery was a choice between Beef, Turkey and Ham, all of which is carved for you at the counter, along with the familiar peas, carrots, cauliflower cheese, parsnips, roasties, boiled pots, yorkshire pudding and Real homemade gravy. I could not chose one meat so was given a selection of all three. The food is always plentiful, fresh, hot and very tasty... real home cooking at its best and the gravy , well there are very few places where I can say the gravy is absolutely outstanding and this is the one place where it is. A very enjoyable sunday lunch and a venue I would recommend to everyone who enjoys excellent quality food with excellent service.

I never write a review but feel that I needed to on this occasion with the hope of some changes to this restaurant. I went there for lunch today with family members to celebrate a birthday, the food was awful and the service even worse, the whole atmosphere felt like being in a nursing home and the staff are rude, ignorant and unhelpful! My partner and I will never return to this place and I would certainly discourage my friends and family from going there, absolutely appalling!

My Mother and I have been doing the rounds for the past year trying Sunday lunch carveries at different eateries. This was our first time at Tiffany's coach house and I have to say that it was very good, the food was hot and plentiful, staff were friendly and pleasant. However, not everyone wants to eat a 3 course meal and it would be much better to have a 2 course option with the choice of either a starter or dessert. We would like to go back again but at £12.95 for 2 courses its a lot more than we normally pay for Sunday carvery lunch.

Called for lunch on the off chance and so glad we picked this restaurant. The welcome was warm and although quiet on the day we were there a pleasant atmosphere. You can pick of a set menu or chose from the everyday menu. Excellent choice on both. I think I nearly gave the chef a heart attack when I asked him was the braised lamb the 'pre packed' variety often served. After being assured it wasn't.( the look on his face said it all no need for words !!) That was the choice I opted for. OMG !! it was the nicest lamb I have ever tasted in my life served with seasonal veg. When I go back I won't even be looking at menu I just want that meal again !!My starter of spicy soup was lovely served with crusty bread and real butter was warm and tasty, the main course of braised lamb shoulder was stunning and the desert of cheesecake finished the meal off a treat. In all, nice surroundings, lovely staff you can have a little banter with, so friendly, and food that was as good as any standard I have had in this area.Give it a try, honestly its worth it and you won't be disappointed.

Booked for lunch on our wedding anniversary having been well treated on a previous visit "just passing". All 3 of us were made extremely welcome and were given ample time to choose from the varied menu and specials board. The food was very well presented and of excellent quality. It was a glorious day and we spent some hours there, the atmosphere was lovely helped greatly by Janine's personality. We would recommend it to anyone, especially lunchtime when the lovely grounds could be appreciated. Our next visit will be very soon. Thanks to all for a lovely afternoon.

We have been here many times on special occasions for Sunday lunch and it never fails to impress. The latest visit was for a Golden Wedding, we were a large party and the owner had even out gold coloured roses and napkins on the table for the occasion. We also put balloons and some table decorations, and the owners were fine for us to do this. The carvery was 1st class , as always and the staff are very helpful and friendly. One waiter Cameron is so helpful and cannot do enough, he has served us on previous occasions aswell. Everyone enjoyed, and the bar area was nice to have a drink aswell. We have also called for lunch and evening meals, and there is a lovely selection and also daily specials. We have always had good quality meals and they taste excellent. Also, fantastic desserts! There are no other places in the area with such a nice Sunday lunch, you definitely get what you pay for, and this wins everytime!

Planned on having a meal here yesterday after the funeral of my father, so the family could spend some time together. My brother went ahead of us to, so arrived at the car park and planned on waiting for the rest of the family to get there as we had stayed back at the cemetery laying flowers. My brother had been waiting for 10 minutes when the female owner came to the car and rudely asked what was he doing in her car park, brother explained but the lady was still contunuing to be rude. So the end of the day they lost custom of 10 people, have been here before, but most definitely won't be attending her again and will also ensure I feed this back to family and friends of the rudeness from this establishment.

We visited Tiffanys Sat 1st March 14. There was only one table full in the restaurant with a party of approx 10 but they thankfully seated us away from the party. There were four of us and we were able to order our drinks and meals quickly but without being rushed. We were then given a basket of complimentary bread and oils which was lovely. I had the ducks leg with pancakes for starter which was more like a main as it was huge but stunning. There was no fat at all on the duck which I was very pleasantly surprised at and made sure everyone in my group tried how lovely it was. For my main I had the steak rossini style. I've never had steak and pate together but as a massive fan of both I decided to try it and was super pleased I had. Everyone was very jealous of my choice but still enjoyed their own dishes. I then had the vanilla cheesecake which was wonderfully rich and flavoursome. Nothing worse than mediocre bland cheesecake but this was fab. All of our dishes were beautifully presented and tasted fantastic. This place is definitely a little hidden diamond and I can't wait to return when I get an excuse for my husband to take me out ha. The decor is a little dated but the food just won us over so much it can be excused. The service was great all night and the staff were very friendly and approachable. I think the chef even came out at one point which was great. I would definitely recommend Tiffanys.

We ate here with elderly parents for a sunday carvery in January on a cold, wet day. As soon as we arrived we felt the temperature in the room was very cold, we would have liked to have kept our coats on but they were too wet. We have eaten here many times before as big family parties and always have had a great time. The service and attitude of the staff was as always, warm, friendly and helpful, but the quality of the food seems to have been economised on. A shame, because as it's not that reasonable at £12.95 per person.

We visit here regularly as a couple for evening meals and really enjoy the meals and the excellent service.we visited on a Sunday for their delicious carvery lunch.we were a party of 6 and all ordered different choices Starters are a choice of soup or salad bar. The selection at the salad bar is extensive and very appetising The choice of meats on the carvery, offered excellently cooked meat but the roast potatoes were slightly disappointing on this occasion. The rest of the vegetables and Yorkshire puddings more than made up for this. Choice of desserts excellent A very nice meal enjoyed by all of us.service excellent by their lovely young waitresses and waiters. We will definitely return again.

We live in Aberdulais, it was our anniversary and we wanted a change from the normal selection of restaurants in the area. I had heard the food at the Coach House was good so thought we would give it a go, took a little while to find our way and then find the door! A warm welcome awaited inside with a warm atmosphere, we chose our table, as non meat eaters there was a good choice on the menu, we had very good service and we didn't feel pressured at all.We weren't disappointed, when the starter came we both said it was superb! cooked to perfection and Le Cordon Bleu quality for a reasnable price, the main course was equally as good, I had sea bass my wife had salmon, I have learnt to appreciate fine food and this hit the spot!I can recommend the service, the food and the atmosphere - need I say more!

I've eaten at Tiffany's restaurant in the past and the meals have always been good but last night was exceptional. I had the Cockles, Laverbread and Bacon Stack which was really nice. The starter was just big enough and beautifully presented. For my main course I ordered a 20oz sirloin steak with jacket potato. I asked for the steak to be cooked medium which some restaurants struggle with but when my meal arrived I have to admit it was the best steak I'v had in the UK. It was cooked to perfection and was juicy and succulent. The whole main course was fabulous and I enjoyed every mouthful. The rest of my party had the Sea Bass, Duck with Summer Berries and Fillet Steak all of which were eaten with vigour. We all had desserts which finished the evening off beautifully. I can highly recommend the restaurant and the staff. Definitely going again.

On arrival, I noticed that there wasnt anything on the menu that I liked and also being a vegetarian, the menu was quite limited. I told the waitress, and she got the chef who then told me a list of things that he could make for me. I chose the mediterranean vegetable risotto with soup to start. The soup was lovely, but when the risotto came I was very pleased! All our dishes were presented well. And they all tasted delicious! The chef came down whilst we were eating our food and asked if we were enjoying which of course we were.I also had the chocolate fondue for dessert which I have had before, I also recommend this! This is one of our favorite restaurants and we will definitely going back.

My husband and I dined here on 29th June after we decided on the spur of the moment to have a meal out. Turned out to be a great decision!... We were warmly welcomed and swiftly invited to take our seats in the dining room as the lounge was fully occupied by a family party who were there happily celebrating a golden wedding anniversary. This party were dining from a set carvery menu, which was also offered to us if we wished to. A welcome invitation as it looked great, but we decided to choose from the a la carte menu. Hubby had a cockle, laverbread and bacon stack and I had a prawn and chorizo medley to start. Our mains were braised shin of beef and slow cooked shoulder of lamb, both absolutely melt-in-the-mouth tender and delicious, served with mash/sauted potatoes and fine green beans and carrots. Both the starters and mains were very well presented and the service for both courses was excellent. All of the restaurant/waiting staff were pleasant and attentive and the head chef also came over to us to check that everything was to our satisfaction. We assured him that it certainly was! Worth mentioning too that both mains were excellent value for money. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed a really lovely meal and it was a first class dining experience. We would highly recommend a visit to Tiffany's, do NOT be put off by previous bad reviews.

we went here tody for a big birthday for my Gran. Food was lovely and all agreed was tasty however i found being a vegetarian a bit challenging for this restaurant. I hadn't pre - booked as 'vegetarian' howeer declared this on my arrival. I queued for some time for my meal which is somewhat expected with carvery however my option was not ready when i came and i had to wait 25 mins of course meant all my party had eaten their meals. If the vegetaian option had been outstanding maybe i would have not writtin this but it was just a field musroom covered in cheese. how disappointing. I had been looking forward to going here for some time and to find the veggie options dating back to the 60's is quite disappointing. dessert and environment/setting was stunning so don't let my experience put you off if you have 'normal' tasts however you need to really plan ahead if have even the slightest dietary requests. The man behind serving was extremely friendly which also made the experience better

This review is for the Coach House itself not the Restaurant. I would never book a wedding here, the room is dated and dirty and the staff who I was dealing with (namely the owner) had an awful manner and was not helpful or bothered about what we wanted for our wedding, she was just interested in taking the deposit from us! We've now found a brand new location which ticks all the boxes!

I can cope with dodgy 1970s wallpaper and slow service but never have I tasted such a dismal Sunday lunch. A carvery is not difficult to get right. Serving cheap, overcooked cuts of meat with mashed swede emerging from their clingfilm covered pudding bowls is bad form. And it wasn't even reasonable. The pudding trolley was a blast from the past, but done well, it could have worked. It was full of Cash & Carry desserts which were then thrown onto plates. The restaurant was packed. The bar was even more packed with a valleys wedding. We couldn't even get out of the place! We had to clamber over diners to get out through a patio door.On a positive note, the staff were very welcoming. Shall never even consider going back though.

The view from the restaurant is absolutly beautifull. Me and a few friends called for a meal during the week, we didn't book as it was a random night out. The young waitress who greeted us was friendly and had a wonderful smile, she asked if we would like to seat in the restaurant or the bar, we chose to sit in the restaurant as they were 6 of us. She gave us a copy of the menu, took our drinks order from where we were sat and bought them over to us from the bar. Another young women came down whom we learned was the manager, she introduced herself and we all had a warm and flowing conversation with her. She took our order and asked if we would like to go through into the restaurant now or wait until the food was ready to come down, which was a nice touch. We all throughly enjoyed our time there before we had even had our food and when it was ready we were not disappointed, every single one of us cleared our plates and gave our compliments to the chefs. It surely is under-rated & I would recommend everyone to go there for food or even just a drink. They have the best staff in the area.

What a delight to discover this place by chance! So refreshing to have a good selection of gluten-free options, both sweet and savoury - thank you! Lovely atmosphere and much bigger than it looks from the outside, with more space further back and to the side as well as a delightful little garden. Only downside was having to pay 50p extra fro soya/oat milk - but still couldn't go down to 4 stars as everything else was so good.
