I don't know what has happened with Premier inns at the moment but Two weeks running terrible food served this time I opted for a "fake and ale pie" the meal took forever to be served and when it was it was the pie was burnt on the outside a d frozen in the middle What the jell is going on!! Two weeks running going to bed hungry after a long days work I will be instructing the company I work for to look for alternatives now as nothing is ever resolved all that happens is some half ar*ed fake apology on here

Staying at the adjoined Premier Inn and (foolishly) didn't book a table when I checked in. Booked later on and there was a slight wait for a table which is just testament to how busy these guys get, and rightly so. Staff lovely and cheerful (Mhairi and Shannon were fantastic, working in the same trade it's so cool to see people who actually care about customer service and aren't just in it for a stopgap job), food arrived quickly and was way beyond what I was expecting. Some places feel a bit awkward if you're travelling solo, but the hospitality made it feel pretty homely. Really great all-round. Glad I'm here for another few days! Thank you!

Stay here a lot for work and get meal deal included , had steak pie and gravy , as there was only about 2 table spoons in the little jug so asked if I could have more , at the end they charged £1.79 for extra gravy what a liberty staff didn't Evan tell me it would be extra when I asked , very poor service

Having had dinner at the Holiday Inn Express several times and it was awful thought we would walk over and try Thyme. Big mistake. Horrible boil in the bag or the usual heat it and eat food. Got a table at the window so it was good to watch the kitchen staff nip out for a quick cig. Wonder if they wash their hands after 🤔. Won't be back anyway.

Ate here at the beginning of October. Was initially ignored by the waitress as she appeared to have other things to do at the bar. I ordered the fish and chips - some of the chips were black and the fish was flaky. No assortment of ice creams as advertised, just vanilla. The food arrived quickly which was good. Asked for salt and pepper at the beginning of my meal which didn’t arrive until I had finished.

Service is good, food is OK, nothing special, but comes quickly and good value, I asked for the stir fry noodles but with a salmon fillet on top instead of chicken, which they were happy to accommodate, but when I asked for the Cod and Prawn 'Paella en Paquet' without the Chorizo they couldn't do this, so I suspect a large element of prepacked/frozen meals on the menu. Staff are great and very good value.

An internal part of the Glasgow Airport Premier Inn, this restaurant offers a great option for dinner or breakfast, especially if you take advantage of one of their deals (like the meal deal or kids eat free brekkie). Always very friendly staff (we have eaten here on several occasions). The food is reliable if not gourmet and the breakfast offering in particular is extensive. They will cook to order for many items. Highly recommended.

It's a pub menu in a budget hotel, but nonetheless it was a perfectly acceptable meal. Staff were friendly and attentive. The house merlot was fruity and rich. Prawn cocktail fresh and substantial. Large portions for main of Gammon and chips. Peas were poor reminding me of 1960s processed peas, egg was overdone and all together too much oil. However not bad and reasonable value.

After nine days, I was too tired to go in search of someplace to eat, so I ate at the hotel's restaurant. The menu was pretty amazing for a "budget" hotel. I had an Indian dish and a couple of beers. Perfect for what I was looking for in a night before flying out!

Visited as staying over before holiday flight. Decor is fine and fresh but fish and chips was terrible. Clearly just a heated up frozen fillet. Pizzas looked better but not sure. Wouldn't recommend. Restaurant prices for frozen food heated up. Avoid the fish!

After watching 3 full series of 'Ramsay's Hotel Hell' I feel that I am as close to an expert as one can be when it comes to hotel restaurants and what to expect. And it's not this. The only positive thing I can say about this restaurant is friendly staff. I've never seen anyone serve rubbish food so enthusiastically, all be it slowly. I ordered cod and skinny fries with mushy peas. It was your standard frozen fish overcooked in the oven. Normally instructions say to cook it for 20-25 minutes, I'm sure this was cooked for over half hour (that's how long we waited in between courses anyway), the batter was very hard and very dry. Oven fries were greasy and cold. Mushy peas were out of a can, microwaved. While you're eating you continuously hear microwave ping. My partner ordered a house burger which came with same "skinny fries". The burger was also very overcooked and burnt, extremely dry and judging from the texture it was a cheap frozen burger. The soup we ordered for starter was nice enough and so was the crumble we shared for dessert.A couple at the table nearby ordered garlic bread to share for starters and after eating a couple of bits left it. They ordered steak as their main meal and we heard the gentleman complain to his wife how much he disliked it.It took us nearly two hours to get through the dinner, we waited 20-30 minutes between courses. My partner ordered a glass of lemonade and was served elderflower water. The gentleman sat at a table nearby ordered a pint of Guiness and we watched the waitress go to the bar, open a pint sized can of Guiness and pour it into the glass.I suppose the restaurant gets away with it being in this location as there is nowhere else to go and eat.

We had both an evening meal and breakfast here when we were travelling from Glasgow Airport. The benefit of being just round road from the terminal is that you can have your breakfast before you set off and pay the regular price rather than the somewhat inflated prices once you get through security. The all you can eat breakfast is buffet service so you can have the items that you want rather than someone else's idea of the ideal breakfast. The items are of a good quality and the items are kept fresh & topped up. The evening meal was good value for money and the quality was also good. There is the possibility of adding a meal deal if you are staying over, which is excellent value for money as it includes your evening meal as well as the breakfast. Service at both meals was great - but then it always is when when we are here. It is a nice relaxing way to start your holiday without breaking the bank.

Don't go here if your not a guest. Went on Tuesday 21/7/15 with my partner and was greeted with a look of contempt at the reseption when asked if non guests could get a table, she informed me that they were busy and probably wouldn't get a table, when I asked her to check she refused and just repeated again that they were busy and probably wouldn't be a table, was thinking of booking there next trip but after that experience " Probably Won't "

I decided to try the Thyme tonight, as I was staying in the area and decided to eat outside the hotel I was staying. Since the Thyme was within walking distance I thought I would give them a try.I ordered the Gammon Steak, but was disappointed in it. It was more salty than tasty. I also upgraded to the triple fried chips, but failed to see what made them 'special'.I don't think I'll be going back...

thyme restaurant warning!Whereas I cannot fault premier inn as a hotel for value, the same cannot, unfortunately, be said for their accompanying restaurant. We dined there tonight as a family for 3, my wife and I and 3 year old daughter. My daughter had a child's meal, I ordered the curry, and my wife ordered the 2 course meal deal. She did so as it worked out that the pudding would cost less than a pound more on top of her chosen main meal, the steak. She also decided to treat herself and upgraded her order to 3 times cooked chips.Meal was bland at best, but worst was to follow. They decided to add my wife's desert to my main meal as the meal deal. This despite the fact that she ordered hers all at once and was more than explicit in the fact it was to be the meal deal. The reason of course is obvious, my meal was a lot cheaper and by combining her desert with my meal and not hers would mean an additional £4 in profit for them! Upon informing staff we were told that their computer system did this all of the time and they had no way of rectifying it other than to perform a manual discount. so the message here? This restaurant uses a computer system that will automatically seek to charge you the maximum bill, irrespective of how you order and what you tell the staff. The only way to rectify is to await the bill and then inform staff of the error. I wonder how many people don't check and get ripped off on top of the already steep prices?I felt sorry for the staff who had to try and explain away their "computer system". Computers only do what they're instructed and have clearly been programmed to behave in this way. If people choose to dine in their restaurant they should be afforded a little honesty in the pricing and calculations. Oh, and their triple cooked chips? Made with frozen chips, so if someone can explain that one to me I'd really appreciate it!premier inn, great. Thyme, deliberately engineered to rip you off!

I have now started working across the road so I thought I'd give this cafe a try and I must say I was not disappointed. The staff are very polite and you don't have to wait too long before someone serves you. The food comes quickly and is always absolutely piping hot. The menu is varied and it is often quite difficult to know what to have. This really is a little gold mine and well worth a visit or two or, like me, nearly every day.

We stayed in the HI before a flight out. We had no car so had to eat in this hotel restaurant. The room was fairly empty so we were seated right away. The menu was pretty extensive. The staff asked about food allergies and the chef actually came to the table to suggest appropriate dishes. Nice touch. The food was hot and fresh but not special. Adequate but not memorable. It was a bit expensive but when you are stuck at the hotel with no transport they can charge what they want. Basic but okay. The service was good though.

Food was tasty however weighing the slices from the carvery made my mum quite uncomfortable and when she started to eat her meal the meat was so sparsely cut that it was see through, I had the carvery salad which states to have 537kcal I would disagree given the same issue as mum the meat was incredibly thin therefore calorific value would have been less. Service, staff and atmosphere lovely but the food portioning …….. Disappointed to say the least

Ordered a tall filter coffee, usually get this as it's super quick. No filter coffee available, would I like an Americano for the same price? Not wanting to wait too long, as I had to be somewhere else, I said yes. Waited a while for the order, collected my order and rushed out as I had to be somewhere. Reason I waited so long was they had brewed the filter and they gave me the wrong size. Didn't realise until I was back at the car. Also bought Halloween pumpkin chocolate brownie, a bit expensive for the quality.
