My mum and myself went here today using a cream tea Groupon voucher. We were hungry so started with a sandwich and panini and these were lovely. Then we had our scones with jam and cream, along with our pot of tea. My mum commented that they were the nicest tasting scones she'd eaten! They were large too, which was nice 😊 The cream was Gorgeous too!! The tea rooms are very different, but really relaxing. You must nip to the loo and see the tree in the shower 🤣 Lots of lovely little gifts to buy too. We both really enjoyed it and would definitely visit again, in fact I think my partner has bought a Groupon voucher too.

I visited the week, I had poached eggs on toast, a flat white and a slice of the coffee and walnut cake, all delicious. There is a new bar and cocktail menu, may be next time.

We were given a voucher for a cream tea for two at Through the Looking Glass. The Alice in Wonderland theme inside is different and to borrow from someone else's review 'quirky'. But it works, has a nice atmosphere and there's lots of nice gift products to browse too. The tea was great with fresh scones, cream & jam. I was caught out by the combination tea pot and cup not having seen one before and asked for a cup...it was gently pointed out it was already there. Overall, a pleasant experience with friendly people and good service. When we went into a charity shop in Shepshed afterwards we were pleasantly surprised to see another combination teapot and cup in great condition which we bought for £3. Happy days!

There’s nothing like through the looking glass in Shepshed. It’s quirky. You’ll find cute little gifts for friends in the shop with hot snacks and breakfast dishes when ready to take the weight off

We found out about this place through Groupon, and we're glad we did. We visited with our dog (allowed downstairs) for a cream tea. The place is wonderfully decorated, and the staff are friendly. Our tea and scones were delicious and really well presented. They also sell cakes and other gift items, which we partook of. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area - even if you're not an Alice fan! We'll be coming back again. Thank you very much.

I love quirky and boy is this place quirky. Upside down tea sets on the ceiling and loads of "Alice" stuff about. None of this hides the fact that the coffee is good and the cheese scones are wonderful. It is worth a trip to Shepshed just to pay a visit to this café, let is be honest there is very little else in Shepshed worth visiting.

Groupon voucher for scones and tea for two. We had to book as the cafe only has a few tables. Fresh scones and cream and tea and coffee. Very pleasant time there amongst a large selection of Joules merchandise.

This is a great shop with lots to browse especially for those with small children. They also have the best coffee in Shepshed and the surrounding towns by far (the cakes are lovely too)!

Lovely cup of tea, friendly & relaxed atmosphere. Even better cake - yum, yum! Happy to accommodate a pushchair, which sometimes can be difficult finding somewhere that fits the pushchair & you don't feel in the way. Great to also pick up a few gifts & cards

Some takeaway from this place most recently. Certainly a good selection on their menu. I am more excited to hear about their most recent announcement that they are undergoing management change and is being taken over by Everest Lounge group. EL is best rated Nepalese,Indain and Tibetan food in Market Haroborugh. Hopefully not long to wait. The change will certainly enhance the quality of Himalayan Inn.

I am currently devouring my second generous helping of breakfast. Mushrooms on toast. OMG. My eyes want a third but my belly prevails. I am pleasantly stuffed :). What a relaxed location. A warm feeling inspired by all the friendly staff. I felt very comfortable and at home here. Thank-you, thank-you, thank-you.

Absolutely lovely staff in all parts of the show room and café, can't fault them definitely the best showroom by a long shot for customer service.

This restaurant is up along with the likes of the Waldorff Hotel, It is a college for students starting their careers in hospitality. The service is excellent and the food magnificent. Occassionally there is a guest chef who spends a couple of days with the students and they guide the students to create their Menu for service to customers of a Thursday evening. If like me you want to try amazing food for a fraction of the cost, or you just want to support the next generation of hospitality staff and Chefs, then this is the place to go! Don't in anyway think that because the students are learning there will be any mistakes because the first class Lecturers are there to make sure there are none! You will not regret a visit and I go every week in term time have tried many dishes, and have never had a bad meal. These students are trained so highly they win many National competitions and so have the Lecturers. Well done Loughborough College for the high standards and excellent skills and Lecturers this center/restaurant provides.
