The looked a lovely spot for a drink before checking into our Airbnb. The staff and locals very friendly. The toilets were horrendous. No toilet roll and felt dirty. Such a shame.

Really Friendly Visited Newcastle Emlyn for the day Three compasees was a fantastic little find. Really friendly, traditional pub. Made us so welcome by the owner & the locals, we will definitely be back on another holiday . Would have stayed the whole evening. Date of visit: April 2022

Fantastic service provided by the Three Compasses. We arrived just before they were expecting a large party from Mencap. Very welcoming and couldn’t do enough for us. Food was excellent value for money and the service was prompt.

Lovely meal and we didn’t have to wait too long for our meal. The staff were very friendly. The Pub had a great Ambience.

We just popped in for lunch by chance as many other pubs/restaurants were shut being the day after Boxing Day but were glad that we did. This is a lovely little local with very friendly customers and all round superstar bar man. Probably not for you if you are in a hurry to get anywhere but luckily we weren't. The food was worth the wait and it was only afterwards that we discovered the bar man was working single handed today, the bar and the kitchen. The food was really delicious and all freshly prepared so well worth the wait.I would recommend but probably not if in a coach party!

Proper rural pub. Features real local craft beers, warm fire and a warm welcome. Locally sourced, prepared on site, reasonably priced and tasty food. Locals are friendly and approachable, guaranteeing a decent conversation and company. Can't go wrong with this pub.

A warm welcome and friendly people. A good choice of beer at the right temperature and reasonably priced.

The Landlord Peter is very friendly and funny in a kind way. He made us feel very welcome and chatted to us. He has a good selection of ales and bitters and I was glad we didn't go to bed early but went for that extra drink to enjoy his company.

Just drop in for a coffee and ended up there for 40 minutes. Very friendly locals and staff. Charge the phone and had a good crack.

Portions of food were huge and quality was good. This is not a posh place but if you are looking for value for money then eat here
