Showing my Southern friend around Beverley, I popped to Thomas’ first for a Chicken and Stuffing Roll- a gorgeous filling 😻

Fantastic food and always tasty plenty of choice and the staff are always helpful and friendly 😃

Recently discovered that their sandwiches are far superior to Cooplands that have sadly become boring and horrible! The Wednesledale cheese and carrot chutney sandwich is amazing ! Fabulous bread and the pastries are delicious. Lovely friendly staff

First time tried Tomas bakery was Scarborough thought wish was one near hull found Beverly had one go there every time go Beverly got my friend going as well love different sausage rolls nice sandwich great fillings today had cheese savory red onion got different sausage rolls beef veg pasty try cheese cake yummy date walnut scorns enjoy everything try different things each time

Having tried one of the other shops in this local chain of bakers myself and family decided to try this one. Once again we weren't let down. Delicious food and friendly service. I asked for a plain ham barmcake for my son which was not too much trouble. Excellent

Useless. I absolutely love the Cumberland wrap. I've never had a problem getting them in York but in Beverley there as rare a unicorn s#it. Everytime I go at dinner they have run out so i go at 9:30 this morning and I'm told they won't be ready for 20 more mins. So basically there's a 2 hour window to get a certain item of food. Ridiculous.

Excellent selection of freshly made sandwiches to stock up on before a picnic on the Westwood. We all enjoyed our cheese savoury sandwiches in ciabatta and cheese straws. Very tasty and filling. Their chocolate orange danishes are also quite delicious. They also do a call and collect service which I’m told is always reliable. Try their donka bread rolls too!

I bought 4 small curd cheese buns, they tasted of cleaning fluid, I complained to their head office on the 2nd April by e-mail. Never received any contact whatsoever. Cooplands across the street sell small curds as well. I shall be buying them tomorrow Friday 14th April and in the future

Staff were very friendly food was nice and the prices was fair only issue for me was no hot tomatoes but its a bakery not a cafe so carnt realy complain

I have shopped here for many years! Great bread,great staff,but has Thomas changed his recipe for his Ciabatta rolls,they are now now just like everyday rolls? I hope they will return to the original light texture.

My favourite bakery, tasty sandwiches with different fillings, soft scones and brilliant sausage rolls. I always make a bee-line for Thomas the Baker if I am in Beverley.

Mini ciabatta rolls are superb.

Ginger biscuits that are soft and delicious. Great range of fresh baked goods.

I have taken my car there for many years for mot and repairs they do a great job and very friendly service.

Just bought 4 chocolate flap jack's. Very disappointed as price gone up and amount of chocolate gone down. Flap jack now tastes gritty and less flavoursome

Very friendly staff and the food is just brilliant. The Yorkshire Rascals are legendary. Also a really good selection of sandwiches.

Turkey and Apricot stuffing roll definately one to try this roll is tasty and one to share with your friends

The shop is well liked it makes a.great number of sandwiches with different fillings , salad's, sausage rolls,pork pies,bread loafs, mince pies along with other different flavours the shop is full of mouth watering goodies come along to Beverley it's well worth a visit , yesterday 20th January we where in Beverley and back in Thomas the baker were we bought 2 ham salad sandwiches 3 sausage rolls and 2 scones the shop as a large selection of different sandwiches and buns all very tasty

As new dog owner still not sure which shops ok about dogs. Husband asked if ok to enter whilst carrying puppy on a very wet day in beverley. Staff really welcoming even gave our puppy a cheese straw treat which he loved. Sandwiches and scones also good, fresh and tasty

Sandwiches are very good and fresh and the hot sausages rolls are to die for

Bought a few items ,nice clean shop staff nice and friendly.

So popped in to buy lunch here today, and bought what looked like a loverly tuna mayonnaise sandwich, only to find all the filling was sat at the front with little or nothing behind it (see pics) So feeling a little cheated I took it back expecting they’d just add some extra filling, so with a packed shop the manager pointed out they carefully measure the fillings and it was correct, and all she could do was give me a refund. So much for customer service a shop that’d rather give you your money back and bin the sandwich than add what would of probably been 50p of extra filling which I felt should of been in there in the first place. I won’t be making that mistake again.

Anywhere which sells fat scamps has to be at the top of their game.

Best Eccles cakes I’ve tasted in years. Picked one up last year in Beverley when passing the shop. It was so good, I returned on the Monday morning on the way home to take a few back home. 12 months on (August 2019) just as good, took 12 back to work, they all love them. Great value.

I popped in to get a fresh loaf and was pleasantly surprised at the choice. the young lady even offered to slice it for me and it has been a great little seeded loaf. Good Staff and pleasant shop.

This lovely Bakers in Beverley, the staff are most helpful and pleasant nothing is to much trouble.The bread is so fresh and can be frozen they have every variety of fillings you can think of very tasty pie etc. Yummy cakes cake to cut biscuits well worth a visit you won’t be disappointed.

The sausage rolls andthe sandwiches are just the tip of the iceberg. The Ciabatta rolls are to die for. As are the cakes and pretty much eveything else.

Love visiting Thomas the Baker for a sandwich or cake and they also have a great selection of pasties. Located right on the main shopping street in Beverely with friendly staff and lots of choice. Fresh everyday and great value just difficult to choice what to have.
