Had a Fantastic afternoon bowling with Friends.. The Staff are second to none.. Friendly, jovial and always smiling.... I can highly recommend a visit Terry

Had some friends come stay here came over to meet them found the staff helpful and a young lad (think his name was dan) went above and beyond recommending things in the area, and on site they could do to keep the kids entertained

Had a great time here grandkids loved the play area atmosphere was great kids loved it adults the same spoke to a young lad called Daniel very helpful told us afew places we should visit chuffed with the service he provided

Every year we go in for a drink and every year the staff are rude. Clearly rather stand chatting and are inconvenienced when someone wants to buy anything. Didn't appreciate having eyes rolled at me because the ignorant barman picked up the wrong drink. Shame as in the quarterdeck and reception the staff have always been very friendly. This section really lets the site down, won't go in again and will stick to where our custom is appreciated on the site.

Lost custom.... We went in to look at food options and our kids were a little restless and went into the softplay. We were aware that we had to pay for it, but a rude waiter came up to ask them to come out. In a restaurant of that size softplay should be of free charge. The softplay area was empty and it was a shame to not see it being used. We would have ate here if they was the case as we would have paid for already over priced food and drinks. We also asked if the fish and chips were fresh as the setup of the counter looked like a chippy but said it was from frozen. We moved swiftly on.

Nice pub good location staff were friendly food was sub par but clean .

Went in for dinner with my wife and grandkids only to find staff not friendly at all menu seriously over priced and to add insult to injury wooden cutlery to eat your dinner with along with no table service you have to wait until your number is called then collect the food yourself I would seriously avoid at all costs and go grab a burger from the burger stand at the oasis amusements

Bar prices overpriced, went back to Seadell bar, better seating and better prices.

Don't know about the food the drink was good but my husband didn't like the service he heard to another customer

Service was miserable and abrupt. Prices are high including very high charges just for sauce and drinks charges extortionate. Fish was, hands down, the worst piece of fish I’ve ever eaten - mushy and dripping in dirty fryer oil. They’re clearly preying on the captive audience and capitalising by providing sun-standard food. Go back down to the seafront and get fish from theirs instead.

A really nice place to chill out and play pool, darts and/or air hockey. There's also small swimming pool. My old 'gripes' are that theres no real selection of food except fish and/or chips. Also this places closes too early, in my opinion. Should be open until 10pm at least but was shut way before that. Not every family wants to go to the entertainment part!

Went in for a drink on a very busy Tuesday night to be told the place was closed at 8:30 pm all good if not odd considering how many people were about looking to spend money.I was told no chance mate we are closed I said alright but your doors open and there’s no sign up saying you are closed only for the security guard to tell me well we’ve bloody told you we are closed! Now I’m not a security guard but I’m pretty sure this isn’t acceptable sadly he is probably one of the reasons the place is dead and has to close early please get yourself some competent and courteous staff and you may find the place will get a bit busier.

Fish and chips had fries not chips fish was small. Nothing to write home about unfortunately.

Coffee and breakfast are very nice, The milkshake is to die for.

The bar for a caravan site, but nice value food and fun in terms and of pool tables and darts.

Food absolutely awful. The scampi looked like and tasted like mashed up fish cake .chips seemed to be basic supermarket frozen chips and the skin of the cod was chewey. Far to expensive for what you got . Avoid eating there.

Bought a beer, satout side then realised the doors were locked about 07.30pm

The whole caravan site is lovely. All the club houses were nicely decorated and perfect for grandchildren to hang out with grandparents

Very very expensive for beer £6:10 a pint it's ridiculous

Was nice and quiet, maybe because of the time of the year. Food ok, I have ordered cheesy cheaps and get ordinary one, not my thing I don't like potatoes. Perhaps more attention to what you saling and what you serving would be nice. Wouldn't visit again, sorry.

It would have been no stars but you have to select atleast one star! Came in with my family who had travelled four hours to get here! They wanted something to eat and drink only to be told at 7.45pm on a Saturday night that the bar closes at 8.00pm. Managed to get substandard food, from the posh Plaice, burger buns were hard and burnt, fish was thrown on top of the chips making it awkward to eat, and chips dry! My family started to eat theirs food as they were hungry from their trip, and to be made to feel the most unwelcome as all tvs and music were turned off!, and the staff were just hanging about waiting to lock up. While we were sitting there we saw them turn down atleast two big families, which was beyond me, on a Saturday night ! I'm glad Richardson's can afford to turn away customers in this cost of living crisis! We will not be returning again, and I'm local !!!!!!!

Calling last orders at 19:45 on a Saturday night, then delivering our food after this, then turning the lights off at the bar to try and get us out, but no actual pressure to get out. Just looking and it closes at 20:00. But they should say this when we ordered our food at 19:40 The worst is not serving any desserts

Worst fish and chips I have ever had. Absolutely disgusting. Definitely re heated frozen chips. And the fish is obviously frozen too. First day of my holiday and this is not a good advert for Richardsons

Staff are rude. Four of them turned back to bar and ignored my Mother collectively. Charged £3.90 for the a "large" diet coke, a large that can only be described as small. My niece asked for a coke and the bartender knowingly swindled her by only showing her the large glass, which looks like a small. No manners and the staff would rather have a chinwag than do their literal jobs!

Swimming pool and changing rooms small but clean and usable.Staff ok approachable and helpful.

Absolutely awful, would never recommend, food served in a cardboard box, not even a knife and fork, no sauces have to pay extra 50p a sachet, it’s not a takeaway meant to be a restaurant, didn’t eat nothing walked out 🤬🤬🤬

The setting is nice and the club has air con and what look like reasonable facilities, however it really just feels like Richardson's are trying to make as much money as possible, and they don't care about your experience. The staff are not friendly or welcoming. All the screens in the club display the mission statement of Richardson's, promising high quality and excellence. But the staff, service and food do not live up to it. We ordered the 'chicken burger' which was a piece of greasy chicken in two pieces of bread. No salad or even a piece of lettuce. I asked for mayonnaise and the waiter said I had to buy it separately. Who charges extra for standard sauce? What surprised me more was that it was 50p per tiny sachet of sauce. It just feels like they are trying to make money wherever they can. My partner ordered an espresso and I had a flat white. The flat white was just a coffee and milk. The espresso cost my partner £2.80 which is the most we have ever paid for an espresso. Most people enjoy their coffee hot, but it was scorching and tasted burnt. Overall I would say the setting is nice and that is probably what encourages people inside. But the staff, food and service have a long way to go. If you want to charge high prices, you need to have quality to match it, and Richardson's just don't at the moment.

Good place to visit, good beer, nice and relaxed

Lovely clean smart place serving great quality and tasty food in a classy location a few minutes walk from the sea. Not the cheapesf however more than happy wuth tjecmeal andcto reccomend and visit again.

Very large, bright bar. Reasonably priced , had sausage roll & chips couldn't eat it all. Girl behind the bar very bright & friendly. If you use thr yacht club & spend over £5 you get free parking at richardsons carpark,

The food wasn't the best here nice place to stop for a drink use the outside play frame if you have kids but wouldn't recommend eating here.

Me and my friend went in to play some pool and we where told to get out ir play with are hands at this point we though it was a joke but its wasn't so we played with we hands then we where finished and we sat down and where told to get out so we went to the soft play as we where being treated like children so I tried to get to the toilet before we were kicked out for no reason but I was not aloud and she is about to call security

Some lady doesn’t give us a cue to play pool with and said play with your hands so we did then said we weren’t aloud to go to the toilet

Such a nice place, lots of activity for the kids, toilets are spotless, bar is great for adults chilling, swimming pool for little ones, food looks and smells lovely,

Discrimination against allergies - both my daughters are Coeliac and have to eat gluten free, there was nothing available here food wise they could have. When I asked whether I could bring in a snack for them as there was nothing available I was told no - I said this seemed a bit unfair when there was nothing they could offer. A very rude lady (apparently the supervisor) Shirley commented that ‘it’s not my fault they are gluten free’. We obviously did not then purchase anything and said we would take our business elsewhere but we’re met with another sly comment from Shirley ‘ good why don’t you find somewhere that does do gluten free’. It’s embarrassing to think an older women can be so nasty about 2 young children. Richardsons as a company are not bothered whatsoever. So would I recommend absolutely not!

The yacht club . Sounds very " posh " for a small seaside town like hemsby , but in fact it's not at all . Don't get me wrong , it's not rough .far from it . The bar prices are are the same as your local not hyped up . There is a fish and chip & pizza shop inside the premises where you can purchase your food and its brought to your table . There is also a soft play area for the young kids to play on , and for the elder kids there is snooker tables + slot machines . Also adjacent to the bar is a swimming pool where you can if you feel that way eat your fish & chips , enjoy your pint & watch people having a swim . All in all a nice place to spend a afternoon . On your own or with the family . Well recommended .

Cheap food, and a good place for children to run free with soft play.

Kids loved the pool table, air hockey, softplay and amusements. Not forgetting of course the swimming pool. We bought fish and chips one night, the curry sauce wasn't right and the chips were like McCann Homefries. OK but not what we expected from a chippy. The staff were lovely and helpful

Great place to eat for family's

Bar staff can’t tell the difference between a lager & lime, and a lager shandy. Burger in a bun literally that, ex frozen burger shoved in a dry bun. Fish is 90% batter, chips awful. Shame you can’t award 0 stars.

Terrible, chips were disgusting, had better from Iceland. The gin wasn't full strength. And staff not very welcoming

First time we visited today and very clean, plenty of seats / tables. Was live music which was very good. Going back later for food

Great complex with a bar and and on site chip shop which serves the best sausage and chips, safety still on the ball and the staff are polite friendly. Amd helpful, if in Hemsby deffo give this place a visit. The swimming pool for richardsons holiday park is also inside as well as activities and soft play for the kiddies

Kids will love this place .pool table .soft play area inside and outside is another play area for bigger kids. Food and drinks well .

Great place to bring the kids on holiday

Food was ok, cost me more to buy the sachets of tomato sauce than any thing else, 6 sachets cost me the same as two bottles from a supermarket

It is a nice place to get a drink if you don't mind going up to the bar to order and pay. They offer table service (which is none existent) but the atmosphere is still nice and a bit pricey beers

Chips are OK. Fish & batter poor. 99% sure it is frozen.. also ordered Pizza which was definitely just a frozen shop bought pizza which was then left in the oven too long. I reccommend popping down the road to a real chippie.

Wouldn't come again. Fish was average. Chips were cold, some still frozen, drinks were very weak, pizza was burnt and frozen pizza Chicago Town from a shop, they charged £8.95 for it in restaurant but pizza is £2.50 to buy from Tesco. Very expensive, can't even cook fresh food, rip off and will not return.

I ordered 3 portions of fish and chips to take away. The fish was OK. However the chips were disgusting, they were cold, been reheated and chewy. Richardsons charge a lot of money, I expect much better.

Beer lovely service great.all corona safe.i cant believe people think staff are rude.ive been here about 4 times never have i found staff rude.in fact this year it was hard for all of them because of virus.they did the best they could to make u feel safe and welcome.shirley and dan did very well.people always cleaning to keep virus away.food as usual was of a high standard.cooked fresh so always nice.i will b back next year to have a nice break with u all.stay safe and thankyou.
