My local nearly 30 years ago... Great to see a pool table still there... Obviously new staff but made to feel very welcome... Great catch up with the lads for a proper nostalgic night out.... Just informed there is no pool table so this really must have been a good night out 😅

This place could be good, it’s refurb has been done well with a lot of money spent on it. The DJ kit, sound equipment is also top rate and if they get the play lists right and do some decent themed nights then I can see this place getting as busy as it was in the early Norties. Beer is good value and tastes fresh. Outside seating area is also decent.

Its very clean and new but prices aren't in line with Ripley prices and was a strange vibe for a Sunday evening but can't say it was bad. Just not for me

Reasonable priced drinks, except for coke which costs more than a pint. Decent music some of the time, depending on which night you go as there is themed nights, barely gets too busy that you can't get served quick enough, friendly enough staff.
