Over 20 minutes late and then the salt and pepper shredded chicken was like granite. I had to throw the whole of it away. Disappointing.

We've never had an issue ordering food from here, we live in Morley and they've always arrived on time and still hot! Food is tasty, particularly enjoy the salt and chilli chicken wings and ribs. Last night placed a really big order for four people, and it arrived so quick we were surprised! Would highly recommend, I know there's some less great reviews but we've never had a problem personally.

Once the order was already 20 mins late, Called to be told order was as 5 mins away. Another 20 mins, call to chase and it isn’t even cooked. Not just late but untruthful

Dishes that shouldn’t contain peanuts are contaminated as they have clearly told me they use the same utensils to prepare all dishes. My partner had an allergic reaction and she has a peanut allergy where she has an epipen. Avoid if you have allergies

Egg fried rice is boiled rice no taste what so ever burnt chowmein could smell the burnt smell when opening packaging noodles were black burnt dry chips all in all do not waste your money plain dry tasteless food and u helpful when called to complain

It was meant to be delivered between 19.10 and 19.30 although it says it was delivered at 19.15 it still hasn't been delivered and I've also been up to the restaurant to collect it and it still wasn't ready and I still haven't had my food

Placed our order at 18.20 for 5 simple dishes. (Chowmein, sweet and sour balls, chips, salt & pepper chicken and chips). Our delivery was scheduled for 19.20. At 19.30 I called and was assured that my food was in its way from Langley mill. 20 minutes later I was called by the same woman I had spoken to and asked if my food was ok… I still had no food delivered. It appeared my order (placed at this point 2 hours prior) had not left the restaurant, in-fact it had not even been prepared and was still in the kitchen being made. Repeated apologies later I was promised my food would be 20 minutes. Then when the order arrived we were missing the chips! Two lots of salt and pepper chicken instead though. Will not order from here again.

The order was 1 hour 10 minutes late, and I had to chase the restaurant to find out where the food was. They gave me a new delivery time and were still late against the new delivery time, and i had to call them. The won tons were overcooked, but everything else was as expected. I would not recommend ordering delivery from here if you want to eat at a specific time.

The food was good, especially the duck chow mien. The delivery was very late, over an hour. The biggest problem was they updated that it’s been delivered an hour before it was so I panicked thinking I wasn’t going to get my food, they didn’t answer the phone for 30 mins, when I did get through it was a further 30 minutes until the food arrived and they advised when I called it’s left 10 minutes prior. Don’t update the app until the delivery has been made. It saves a lot of hassle.

Had the crispy mock duck in the past and it’s been amazing. Had it today in Cantonese and Lemon sauce and they have changed the recipe so it’s no longer crispy. Initially it was sent with nothing on but I called and they remade it in which they put a bit of batter on it but it was still not super crispy like it used to be which is what made it the best place for fake meat Chinese around here. They were quick to remake it and they called me afterwards to see if it was any better, can’t fault the staff. I’m writing this to let anyone else know that they have changed the recipe so be aware when order it. Still good Chinese and have some great food but this has weakened their vegetarian range

Second time we've ordered from here, food was absolutely brilliant (both times). Didn't feel greasy, food was really tasty, and the meat tender. Delivery took around 40 minutes (which was stated when we ordered). Great service all round.

One star because of service and missing food. Ordered direct rather than through just eat . I had to phone up after waiting one hour after arrange time . Then when the food did arrive it was missing the free drink and veg spring rolls that were advertised if you spent over £45 and ordered direct rather than through just eat. I have ordered previously through just eat and got my order on time I WILL ORDER THROUGH JUST EAT IN FUTURE

You don’t get fresh muscles (in satay sauce) like this from anywhere locally. The beef and mushroom curry was beautiful. The meat wasn’t chewy at all, like most Chinese take aways. The delivery time was less than 30 mins! Delivery driver always so polite!

I had a meal delivered last night to my lorry. I ordered the same as I have when I’m home. I couldn’t compare the two meals, this one was magnificent in every way. It’s a pity I don’t live closer.

The worst Chinese I've ever had, the crispy beef had NO BEEF in it, literally it was just batter. Ordered chow mein, house special fried rice and sea weed, all was bland and tasted like the worst chinese you could ever have. Got rid of everything and only ate the seaweed.

Great value for money and has been for ages and it has great choice of vegetarian food for my wife.

We had Chinese food from here for the first time tonight, as our regular is closed on a Monday. The food was amazing, not too greasy and lovely flavours. It arrived after half an hour too! I would definitely recommend them, and their food is as good as our regular. The lady on the phone we ordered from was really kind too, and let us substitute some things in the set meal. Thanks!

Had several meals from golden lantern always been good. However don't know if it's new owners but we always have the same two meals. Spicy and hot, they looked totally different and no real authentic taste. May as well bought a supermarket takeaway. Won't be going back.

I made a special off the menu order ( udon noodles) for delivery tonight. The food was delightful and their customer service was exceptional. The food came in under 20 minutes which is a record. The staff are very kind! I would 100000% recommend. 😊😊
