The owners have created a friendly wee place with great staff. The food is cooked for you with quality ingredients, taking it a step above some other large company owned premises. It must be difficult producing good quality food at a reasonable price. So worth a visit to give them some support.

I used to love this wee coffee shop and love to try out somewhere new so today after seeing the coffee shop was reopened we took ourselves a walk to try it out. It was quiet for a Saturday afternoon, the staff were friendly. The coffee was really nice - I love an americano but the food was not what I thought I would be and certainly overpriced for what I ate. I opted for the bruschetta served on toasted sourdough bread - only it wasn’t, instead I got 3 small triangles of toasted seeded bread topped with some tomatoes, garlic and basil with a little side salad. My partner ordered the lentil soup again served with sourdough only it wasn’t either it was with 3 small slices of white baguette and to say it was absolutely tasteless was an understatement. I was asked how I found the food and I gave honest feedback. I sent 1/2 of my dish back. It was £7.95 for my tomato bruschetta - steep when I wasn’t given exactly what I ordered, no real apology or explanation for this was given. There is fierce competition surrounding here and unfortunately I won’t be returning x

An excellent restaurant and the food was very tasty and much enjoyed. Seated in the pub area which had a cosy fire and a very nice decor/atmosphere. The menu had lots of options and making a choice was challenging. Will certainly return and try more from the menu.
