Beer is not cheap and selection of beers I small. Friday is best evening to go there as they do buy one pizza get another freee

Never stayed at the worlds end but did have a meal with friends you had got married that day, food was very good generous portions if you only go for a meal worth a visit

Very good for an evening meal with friends. Make sure you book in advance. It was packed.

Booked a family meal for 6, arrived on time and was sat down at our table quickly. The pub was not busy, however once we had placed our orders we had to wait nearly 45 minutes for the food to arrive, then only 4 meals came, the other 2 meals 10 minutes later. The Sunday roast was very nice all be it a little expensive for the amount you get. (3 roast potatoes, 2 slices of meat, a small amount of diced veg, the smallest piece of broccoli, and 1 Yorkshire pud, cost £20. One of our party had fish and chips again very nice but some of the larger chips were hard inside. We then ordered pudding, this took 30 minutes to arrive. The sticky toffee pud was good and a nice size portion, however we ordered 2 of the vegan puddings which were tiny yet cost the same, nearly £8. Overall the service was very slow, not what we expected when the pub wasn’t busy. Some of the food was very good but a bit pricey for the portion size.

Absolutely amazing! The place itself is lovely and the decor really is gorgeous. The food is our of this world I had the jerk chicken burger and the good lady had lamb shank both of which were cooked to perfection. 10 out of 10 and will definitely be going again . Cannot recommend this place enough, fantastic food at a good price!

I can't believe this is a four-star hotel! Where do I even start? I'm 6'2" with broad shoulders, and the shower curtain was practically hugging my arm as I was having a shower. They might as well have installed it right in the middle of the bath. Secondly, there are no window curtains. You get window blinds that do absolutely nothing to block out the morning light. Speaking of light, there's a bright green light illuminating one side of the bed, which makes the whole room green as you sleep. The food was average at best. Really small portions. My burger was tiny and looked awful. One of the waitresses was really friendly, but the other not so much. I travel a lot for work, and maybe I'm a bit of a snob when it comes to hotels, but this one takes the biscuit!

Lovely set meal 2 course lunch had the garlic mushrooms and fish goujons, bother were great and lovely service too.

Clean rooms with good showers, good beer choices in the pub and a decent fried breakfast in the morning. I liked it.

Went here for a dinner with some work colleague's and the staff there were welcoming. We had the stone-fired pizzas, which are customizable to the topping you want, and they were amazing. Would recommend.

Fantastic stay. Rooms are comfortable staff are very friendly and attentive. Great 👍🏻 Village Close to all amenities. Food is amazing 👏🏻

Lovely clean hotel. Excellent evening meals on both evenings and excellent breakfasts. The staff were all lovely and very accomadating. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay .

Had the gluten free turkey roast....came out looking lovely. Only point I would raise is that the gluten free version has no yorkshire pudding ( no substitute) but costs the same. Service starts off well with the ordering of food and further drinks then desserts. However, once the dessert plates were cleared away servers generally ignored us!

Not staying in hote ,l being a lovely summer evening pop in for a drink seated in garden ( garden furniture could do with an upgrade) quite for a Thursday night.

I was quite surprised how nice this place was. We checked in and received a warm welcome, the grounds, restaurant and bar area looked really nice. It had a modern rustic feel, but the building itself feels very country inn. The room we had was very nice, spacious and clean, the bed seemed very firm and as if it won't be comfy, but we both had a great night's sleep. Only one very little niggle was that in the bathroom there was only one very small shower gel between 2 people and we ended up having to wash in shampoo. I'm sure if I went to reception I could have asked for more, but shouldn't really have to. Breakfast in the morning was great too

We visited The Worlds End today for a Sunday dinner…… 4 adults and 4 children. Everybody thoroughly enjoyed their meal… from the stone baked pizza’s, to the wagyu burger and the roast dinners….. all were excellent. Clean plates all round. Very friendly service and excellent wine. Thank you…. We will be back xxx

Room looks awful and large gentlemen at the front was very rude definitely would not stay again

Staff were amazing even with a issue with my booking due to the company that booked it. Rooms are spacious, clean and comfy. The food is incredible. Fully recommend coming here even if just for the food and atmosphere. Thank you for being so welcoming and helpful!

We went to the restaurant, service was great and the food was ok, seemed expensive for the quality of the food. Quiet restaurant, atmosphere was nice (mirrors are at a strange angle so you can watch everyone else eat)

Used to eat here a lot last year and the food was good I’m not sure if it’s changed ownership or chef or both but the food quality and portion size has dropped dramatically. My girlfriends mushroom starter was a complete joke , about 6 mushrooms on a piece of toast the size of a postage stamp. My mussels were shrivelled to nothing, they were literally the size of garden peas , I’ve had mussels in dozens of restaurants and these were the worse by far , after complaining these were replaced by undercooked calamari. Needless to say I will never be returning and certainly would not recommend. Such a shame this place has gone so downhill

Slow service in two hours we only were served with one course, very expensive for what we got, meals not as described on the menu. A bit pretentious.

Reserved Christmas Dinner for 12 people. 5 were kids. Paid deposit two months in advance clearly stated number of kids and adults. We've been charged for adult dinners despite showing over kids sitting at table after and they noticed before we come. Avoid this place

very disappointed with mushroom starter, i eat here fairly regularly and possibly a quarter of normal portion. mushrooms aren't expensive but at 7.00 this was, i wont order again but also check future portions that are served. i had three meat roast which was good however had really bad tummy later and following day, i havent any other negative reviews re this but had not had anything else to cause it. Never had a problem before but the starter left a bad taste, or would have if it had been big enough. normally my sunday restaurant choice

This really deserves to be better. Caesar salad with stale uncooked croutons and steak pie with raw pastry. Still, at least they didn't embarrass us by offering to do anything about it.

Lovely restaurant and rooms. Stayed for a Birthday party and enjoyed a stay and a great breakfast the following morning. Highly recommended!

Disclaimer: we did not know this was a Four In A Bed hotel before staying. We found out on check in where the envelope crowning them a winner is on the wall. Do not watch their episode of Four In A Bed whilst in your room then walk round your room pretending you're on the show. You'll notice things wrong that REALLY don't matter (the fire alarms really do make weird noises but it really didn't impact on sleep). You'll get stuck in sarcasm mode. This makes things really awkward at breakfast when Chris (who you never think you'll cross paths with irl) serves you in a delightful manner and you're giggling and biting your tongue so you don't ask where the hash browns are on the full English or where the pastries are on the continental. Negatives: The baths are tiny, there was a random office chair in the room where you'd expect an armchair of sorts, and they definitely didn't stock molten brown shampoo as promised on the posters in the restaurant loos. Positives: Comfy bed, clean, plenty of parking, nice amenities when it comes to the pub and restaurant, good uber eats options close after kitchen closes, easy to get in and out if you're a smoker or have loads of luggage. Have done up the restaurant nicely following the show - proper glow up! Overall a great stay (we stayed over before picking up and taking my partners son to London to break up our drive from The Peaks), definitely worth the £70 for a double room and breakfast (the sausages are delightful) and in true Four In A Bed style. Would I stay again? Yes.

We like staying here, room lovely bar food nice breakfast nice but room 14 bathroom needs maintance and a cleaner. However we shall come again

An attractive looking public house that I have passed on many occasions. We stopped for drinks and sat in the nice rear garden.... Service was very helpful and friendly and the food looked very nice. I have heard lots of good reports about this place and was not disappointed.

The food and the service was very good but what let this restaurant down were the ladies toilet. Only one cubicle was open, the other being lo locked, but the other toilet was not working properly. The cistern was a slow fill and when one person used it 2 others could not flush. On Sunday the restaurant was quite full I would say at least 30 people. They need to get the toilet situation sorted out quickly. There was no notices on the door to say there was a problem. I'm sorry but I think the situation was disgusting. If I go again I will ask whether the toilet is working before I book.

Excellent atmosphere The staff was very friendly like always. We had the mushrooms as a starter which were amazing I totally recommend them. My wife had a margarita pizza and I had the wagu burger. For desserts I really recommend the creme brulee. The staff was very attentive. For a random Thursday night it was busy and lively. The prices are not the cheapest but the quality is good.

We spent a night at this B&B in August. We were very pleased with our standard room as it was comfortable and fairly priced. The room was clean and of a standard that I would expect. The breakfast was very nice and overall I rate this place well. I would stay again quite happily.

Absolutely lovely meal out here tonight! Me and 2 friends I grew up with meet every couple of months or so for a catch up dinner. We used to come to The World's End quite a lot for drinks and maybe a an occasional graze board but trying somewhere new turned into us falling out of the habit. Getting bored of the same old places again now we decided to try The World's End again tonight after not being for a good few years. I'm so glad we did. The food was absolutely lovely. I had braised blade of beef that just fell apart, it was gorgeous. All of the food was lovely and there were lots of good options. I can be quite a fussy eater (the chef will have noticed I didn't eat half my starter but that's because it had dressing and I don't do dressings or sauces or mayonnaise but what I did eat was lovely), so sometimes there's only 1 or 2 things I will eat. Here I was spoilt for choice and struggled with deciding on mains and desserts. The service was really good. The staff were friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Everyone we encountered said hello and asked if we needed help even when we were waiting for our friend to arrive. Everyone acknowledged us and at least smiled over of they didn't have reason to talk to us. The location is good because its close enough to be quick and easy to get to but far enough from Northampton Town to have a quieter more civilised atmosphere/ ambience. I don't know why we ever stopped coming here but I know I won't be stopping again. I will definitely be back

Never thought I would like the end of the world that much but I did***

Just had a meal here from the two for twelve pound menu. We were both extremely happy with the food. It was tasty, beautifully presented and arrived quickly. It was also different. I had Mediterranean tart which was full of flavour and unlike anything I’d ever had before. The inside of the restaurant was pleasant and the music was not too loud. Staff were very friendly. We preferred the place much more than another local gastro pub we had just visited where the prices were three times as much and the food not as good. Can definitely recommend and will be using again.

Fire alarm went off twice in the night and we evacuated. So only got about two hours sleep. One guest made way too much fuss about the fire alarm and called the manager all sorts if expletives. The manager did point out that the alarm was triggered from his room. As there are no other similar incidents people have made reviews about I can only assume the guest was trying to avoid paying his bill and I am going to side with the manager and thus not the hotel's fault. My 3 stars are because the room looked as though it had not been used since before lockdown and all the coffee's and Milks were either out of date or about to be out of date. One milk expired in 2019!! On the plus side the restaurant is excellent.

We had a lovely evening, Ellie our waitress for very attentive by keeping us in drinks and three courses of excellent food, My only dissapointment was the topping of my belly pork was not crackled. I can throughly recommend a pint or more of Timothy Taylors Bolt Maker Ale which went down very nicely.

Evening meal booking - Table dirty , sticky & salt granules on the table, had to ask staff for table to be cleaned, we were advised it was the detergent they were using leaving the tables sticky upon which we insisted it be cleaned, no marks or sticky patches left. Staff not wearing face shields or masks considering Northampton is a Covid19 hotspot. They did have sanitiser as you walked in but that was as good as it got, had to ask for a new glass due lipstick marks and food service poor. Much improvement needed to warrant meal prices when chain pubs are offering better service and a clean dinning experience.

Food was good. Service was awful, very rushed which spoilt the experience. Staff were rude and tried to force me to pay for a drink that never arrived even after waiting 30 mins.

Just had my birthday meal here and I was a bit anxious as it’s the first time we’ve eaten out since covid19, from the minute we Walked in I felt at ease, hand sanitizer, tables well apart, The staff were very careful when serving us, had to fill in our name and contact details. Lovely Sunday meal. Service and food was excellent. TWE had ensured that the tables had plenty of space (more than recommended) inside and outside. It was a pleasure to return here, we will definitely be back.

Absolutely disgusted. Tried to cancel Mother's Day meal as 1mum is 87 & disabled & the other 89 & a stroke victim Following government advice.., & told I will lose my £50 deposit as they are still business as usual. Certainly won't ever give them business again. .. .

Great Sunday lunch at a great price

The food wasn't great quality and although friendly the service was poor. We wait an hour for our food to arrive after we ordered it, nobody came to offer us drinks at any point after we first ordered. For the price £110 for 3 adults and 1 child it really wasn't worth it

Was ingored at the bar and had to ask to be served... Also asked for a san migel and was given no alcoholic and not told..... The main menu had 3 meals off the menu at 7pm on a Saturday the duck tasted burnt and my main meal the beans were still raw as o couldnt cut through them correctly.... The pizza was soggy and also the menu wasnt a great choice seemed as of ir was trying to hard and not exicuted well. Also the dessert menu was not a strong pount at all..... I heard great things about this place and was very very let down by poor service and poor food section and how it was cooked. I would recommend this to anyone as it was bland food choice.

Good accommodation and good food

I visited here with family for a birthday celebration. The food choice was good and the food itself was very enjoyable. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had needed to cancel an earlier booking (for which we had paid a deposit) due to the illness of one of our party, and we cannot thank the restaurant enough for the way they handled the situation.
