We went to the escape room upstairs, and later went to the arcade. It’s a beautiful place with a wonderful atmosphere, lighting, set up, even a photobooth. The arcade was so fun and old-timey, we had such great fun. The escape room was FANTASTIC, hard but not too hard, just right. Big shout out to Theo who was awesome. He made our escape room experience super memorable and I love the vibes of this place! Highly recommend for everybody.

Best bar in Brighton New drinks all the time back terrace front benches and an amazing retro arcade upstairs what more can you ask for !!!

Moustache guy very rude and super racist. This local didn’t let us order only because we were not english. The guy told us our ID were not valid, only because it was an spanish ID. Wow, this is something that have never experienced before. Feel very upset and frustrated.

Went here as part of a hen do weekend. Food was tasty and there's a good menu choice. Games upstairs were really fun especially the car racing!

Nice that it has movie night, arcade games, quiz night etc - I like a nice themed pub but with the Dice Saloon just around the corner there's no excuse for this pub not to up its board game... er... game!

Bar area is excellent, we was met by the bar staff phoebe and jake who very attentive and friendly. Great place to visit:) Amy in the arcade is amazing and soo friendly made us all feel very comfortable and relaxed. We also did the escape room upstairs which amazing! Amazing place, we visited on a day trip to Brighton. Chloe on the escape room was amazing she was friendly, fun and really made it memorable! Amy in the arcade was amazing!! Really made the atmosphere, was so kind and really attentive! Jake and Phoebe behind the bar were also super kind and friendly! Had a lovely time during our visit, the atmosphere is amazing and the staff are great would definitely come back!

Tl;dr - whole bunch of gamers turned up for an afternoon, tried everything, had a great time, didn't break the bank. 5 stars. Will do it again some time. Recently organised an event here for 20+ people. Really couldn't have been happier with this place as our venue. Over email the staff couldn't have been more pleasant and accomodating. They were perhaps even more lovely on the day. As a barcade it's a touch on the small side, but very well thought out. So while it may not have every single specific game you might want, every type of arcade mainstay is well represented. Great selection, well maintained and laid out, and all with contactless payment. The only arcade staple not represented is a racer. But that's where the race track comes in: A simple figure 8 track with ten RC cars controlled by arcade wheel and pedals. I'll admit I found it a little underwhelming at first sight, but it turned out to be my favourite part of the day by far. Big, stupid, racing fun with 9 mates. Would take this over a Crazy Taxi cab any day. Big shout out to Amy who was running the races. Great fun and a great announcer/ host. She really made the whole thing shine. We also did the escape room upstairs, which needs its own review. It's a goodun tho - especially at £17 a head. Well worth booking in advance. Other than that, solid selection of drinks, with some decent food. As they do not have hotdogs on the menu I am unfortunetely honour bound to dock their food score a single star. That said, the Sriracha chicken burger was an absolute banger. What a killer pub. Can't wait to go to Brighton again, just so I can come back here.

Love this pub, it's fun! Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, cool crowd, prices are okay and best of all: there are board games downstairs and arcade games upstairs.😃👌 PS: didn't eat, so can't judge the food but drinks were good.

Seems friendly when you first walk in but it’s so expensive, 10.90 for a double vodka and mixer. Absolute rip off. We won’t be returning. Really disappointed. Also advertised as a student pub online but apparently only Monday to Thursday. They didn’t make that clear did they. Feeling angry.

There is a video game room upstairs with racing cars and a very responsible host! Crazy fun! Very interesting pub, we had a good time here. Love the lighting set up! upstairs is another game 🎮 room.

I love this pub! My friends and I have come here a few times and always have a great night. The food here is delicious and all vegan, and the bar itself has a great atmosphere. The staff are all lovely and friendly and the arcade upstairs is also a lot a fun :)

Great local pub with lots of character it’s a large space and they have great drink deals-I like this pub a lot - however, my last two visits I’ve been ignored by staff when waiting for a drink when I’m the only customer at the bar - Its OK to chat with a friend or coworker but tonight I was ignored for ages despite being the only person at the bar. I just felt a bit unwelcome.

This place has the best food! We were thrilled to find it was all vegan. The portions are enormous! Everything tasted absolutely incredibly and the team were so attentive and helpful. We could not be more impressed.

Fun place with arcade games upstairs. Was busy when we arrived and the bar seemed a little understaffed but cleared out surprisingly early.

This bar offered a fun, relaxed atmosphere with plenty to do. The top floor featured a variety of arcade games. The bar had a good selection of beers, cocktails to choose from. My friends and I had an nice time catching up over drinks. The bar provides a perfect spot for a casual night out with a group, with activities to keep you entertained along with solid drinks. I'd highly recommend coming here if you're looking for a chill spot with good drinks, and games.

This place has a retro arcade on the first floor. Unlike any other pub I have visited. Well worth a visit. Can get loud

Nice pub but they did try to charge me £32 for 3 shots, however as soon as i noticed they did refund me the incorrect charge

We went on a Saturday and it was very empty so bar service was quick and staff were very friendly. Upstairs is the arcade which was very cool there's a photo booth, dance machine, pinball machines and more and the racing game which was very fun. There's space for 10 drives who compete to complete the most laps the game is manned by the team who offer commentary on the racing throughout great crowd pleaser and very funny.

Cool pub, with some old arcade games upstairs. Good fun and the games I think are fairly priced. You can pay for the games by card which makes it really quick and easy.

Very nice experience about VR and retro games in the past years, now unfortunately dismissed. Upstairs still present a minicars race autodrome, 8 seats for a friends competition. Gaming team staff is very friendly and welcoming, they will help you to understand how does work the game. Beer and other drinks are served. Bathroom... Well... Could be better... Nothing special. Enjoy this pub!

We waited over an hour for average food. We put in an order for two and after waiting 40 minutes we asked the staff what was going on. They checked and let us know that it was stuck in the food elevator and asked us to confirm our orders again. Only then did they let my partner know that their order shouldn’t have been available that day and asked them to pick another item off the menu. Fortunately they didn’t ask us to pay the small pound or so difference. We waited another 20 minutes for our food after then.

Came here for my boyfriend’s birthday, great atmosphere and lots of different games to play! We loved racing eachother on the race track, very reasonable prices :)

Twice the arcade machine took a card payment but didn't give me credits and no way to get it back apparently.

Came here on a Saturday at around 10:30pm for a drink and was sadly quite disappointed: - was charged £10 for a tiny glass with double vodka and juice (which could’ve bought me a worthwhile cocktail anywhere else) - girl behind the bar had a pretty cold attitude towards everyone, despite us being friendly and polite - the smoking area closes at 10pm, every day (yes, even on a Saturday night) - you’re not even allowed to enjoy a cig with your drink out front on the benches, meanwhile the music is deafeningly loud so good luck conversing inside - despite the gamer theme, the games obviously aren’t cheap and the dance machine seems to only ever be out of order TLDR; overpriced and overhyped. It’s a shame as it’s got a lot of potential, but next time we will stick to Hob Goblin, the Druids, Hare and Hounds, Shuffle bar, etc

Went here on a stag weekend started off ok but within 30 mins we were banned from ordering any drinks . One of our party was drunk but instead of just banning him they banned all of us. They just wouldn't listen when we said we would sort him out , but on the other hand they shot themselves in the foot banning 15 of us , they lost a lot of revenue and it wasnt packed . Ended up in the hobgoblin where we were welcomed and the staff were top notch

Really cool pub! The arcade games are £1 a go and they work off a contactless system so you can just use your bank card. I visited on a Sunday afternoon and practically had the place to myself!

I'm a meat and 2 veg sorta guy.. I work in kitchens most of my life including vegan/vegetarian/meat... This place is by far the best vegan food I ever tasted. As a meat eater I happily come here for a meal, and if it continues staying this good I may even convert.

Fantastic pub and great night out with frineds. A racetrack upstairs, bored games and cards down stairs. Serving many types of rum and a huge list of craft beers. A must visit.

Love this place. You can have so much fun in the arcade's upstairs, playing vintage games and car racing, although some of the arcade games are a bit knackered. Try to find the free games too. I play 'hunt the hand soap' in the gents which isn't as easy as it sounds.

Had a work party here. Had a great time. Mini car racing was fun, I think for 4.50? There was an announcer there that was so unenthusiastic it made it 10x funnier. It was hilarious! Photo booth available was cute 😁

YUM! I feel genuine love in my heart for this place. They have buffalo oyster mushroom wings that are better than most chicken wings I’ve tried. The chili cheese friends were really yummy too. I want to go back and try everything on the menu :))

Gone are the days of the VR gaming downstairs, but a reasonable menu and good beer choices downstairs with some old school arcade action upstairs.

Large bar very popular with students, good selection of drinks, interesting fast food (including vegan choices) and arcade games upstairs. Also live music events. Staff very pleasant and hardworking but not enough of them to serve drinks, bring food and clean tables during busy times!

We ate here to celebrate a birthday. The burgers were good but the fries were okay. Too much bbq sauce on them it made it sickly (as shown). condiments cost 50p which was a bit disappointing as there was no salt or pepper on the table either so felt we didn’t have a choice.

The mere three stars (not five) is aimed at management, but we've seen from other not-so-positive reviews that they don't seem to respond to these. We had our table booked for four hours but left after we finished eating (so spent just over an hour here) and went elsewhere. The food was good and the service was okay, albeit slow but that was not the staff's fault. There were only 2/3 members of staff trying to serve drinks, deliver food to the tables, take food orders, change barrels, clear tables, seat people with bookings, plus everything else. They were doing the best they could and kept apologising for being very understaffed. The staff didn't even have time to wash glasses so loads of plastic was wasted as they had to resort to using plastic cups. Not impressed.

Called fir a pi t and a meal ordered food and was told a hour later hadn't been orderd. The manager just stood outside smoking

Could do with a good cleaning the place is absolutely filthy, i called in on Sunday afternoon for a quick drink after work, the table I sat down at obviously hadn't been cleaned in a long time, the windows inside and outside are well over due a bucket of soapy water and a good clean, AVOID

Yep...took my kids there with some of their friends....6 kids in all, age range 9-11 boys and girls. The games are mainly upstairs, they had a great time and so did me and the misus (she enjoyed the old dancing game and I got to play time crisis). Went there at around midday and was there for around 2 hours which was just about right. Didn't cost the earth. I reckon this venue would be great in the evening too when it's just for grown ups. I certainly recommend it.

Needs more staff. 1 girl behind the bar on a Saturday evening. Also the racing upstairs was fun but was obvious that the girl working there did not want to be there. Also, we booked a time for the racing but was kinda pointless as we still had to queue up and wait.

It seems like it would have been great for me any other night but the music was so loud! I wanted to play board games :(
