Really impressed with their knowledge of allergens on their menu when I was ordering. This is very refreshing when you are used to places simply saying 'i don't know' when you ask them if something contains an allergen. Lovely food as always. Very impressed.

The food here is definitely not fresh going by the egg fried rice we were given tonight it smelt and tasted disgusting we will NEVER EAT HERE AGAIN

Great food and cooked very well. Plenty on the menu offering Chinese and viatnamese cuisine. Recomend the salt and pepper chips and garlic battered prawns. Always a good meal what ever I've ordered from there

Much improved since my last visit around a year ago. This evening the food was tasty, looked vibrant and fresh. Only criticism is the beef was a bit chewy (hence 4 stars). However as it was so tasty I will definitely return

It's a takeaway, so atmosphere is irrelevant. Staff friendly. We placed an order for 4 and it was prepared reasonably quickly while we waited. All in all, pretty good.

Ordered NYE, food ready on time didn't take long at all. The food was really yummy no complaints at all. Really enjoyed the crispy chilli beef spicier than I expected which I rather enjoyed thank you!

Ordered by phone , whoever took the order has terrible knowledge of the menu and it took far too long to get the order sorted. Pick up time was ok and food was ready on time but there was absolutely no interaction with me as a customer, obviously too busy on her mobile phone. Food was poor and very expensive, although I think most takeaways have ramped up the price of their products way over the top, this place is no exception, poor service, poor quality food and over priced.

Love their food. Also, very friendly atmosphere. You can select the type of food you want and they make it exactly as per expectation. The quantity is good too. Come back everyday for lunch here :)

Yet again .. order was wrong .. wait an hour and then ring to say i have wrong item ..only to be put on hold .. i only ordered 2 items also that little cracker thing you put in ... stale

Food was 20 mins late despite ordering an hour in advance. My mum is diabetic so it was not good start to the meal. Luckily food was delicious when it eventually arrived !!

Sorry to have to say this but that's twice now that a takeaway from here has not been good. Out of the five items ordered this time, three were frankly inedible, and the other two weren't as good as previously. We've been using the Wok Inn for many years, and have always enjoyed our meals, so what has changed? On a positive note the young person who served us was very pleasant, chatty and helpful. Regrettably we won't now be using the Wok Inn again.

Asked for extra chillies and hot chow mein and was spot on. Best Chinese in Wellington

Great food and friendly service, willing to amend dishes to suit a variety of dietary requirements. Even has a vegetarian alternative to chicken, not just vegetables. Highly recommend this takeaway to anyone

Best Chinese takeaway I've had in the UK.

Just got back with my salt chilli ribs wow...3 out of the size ribs was just bare bones..shocking bbq sauce looks like sweet and sour no taste...if you fancy a Chinese this is your last resort..

So after traveling 10 miles to collect our family meal of 3 chow meins we got home to just repulsive inedible food. I rang and reported and was fobbed off. Drove another 10 miles to return all meals to be greeted with no appoligies for the poor food,but did offer to refund well sort of ,because a few chips had been eaten it was put across that £1.50 would be charged. Yup you heard right,not a full refund and a meal on the house a £1.50 charge ,and despite 25 years of loyal buying and 40 miles of wasted fuel. I just can't believe the skanky tight fistedness of this shop and a total contemp towards customers. Never never again will I open there door again. At least they got to wear the remaining chips. Never have I encountered such meanness ,I mean to charge for a hand full of chip eaten begs belief.

Hands down the best chinese in the whole of somerset. The curry and the egg fried rice are especially good. If you are looking for a Chinese takeaway then grab some here.

Ordered a meal & told it would be 90 mins ... fine no probs ... got the meal 2 hours later & it was cold .....!!! I phoned in & asked to speak to the owner ... told she was busy & would call me back ...!!!! Never got the call so I took the meal back & got my money back .... never will I use this place again .... shocking ...!!!

1 star for actually being the only Chinese takeaway that delivers... that’s where it stops... took 1 hour 20 mins to arrive when we were quoted 45 mins. That’s not the end of the world. food was awful.. all the meat in the chicken chow mein, beef chop suey, Chicken curry and sweet and sour chicken was... well... best way to describe it would be Hubba Bubba bubble gum without the ability to blow bubbles! Our dog wouldn’t even eat it! Will never use them again... far better Chinese chefs in Wellington

We ordered yesterday as it was a birthday treat my daughter phoned it through and stated sweet and sour king prawns I clearly heard she said prawns when we arrived we were told another 20 mins to wait when we got it home which is a 2 -3 min car journey the prawns had turned into chicken tasted rubbery spare ribs were more like lumps of fat sweet and sour sauce tasted awful so thanks for ruining what was a lovely day will not be going there again and certainly would not recommend it !!!!’

We’ve been going to the Wok inn for decades and used to recommend it. We got our food tonight and I can’t understand how it’s fallen so far. My daughter had a couple of forkfuls and then went and heated a can of soup. My dinner wasn’t even a shadow of what it used to be like and my husband has been vomiting half the night. Even basic things like prawn crackers tasted vile. I just don’t know what’s going wrong with them but we won’t waste our money again.

This used to be my favourite Chinese restaurant and my family had been going here since I was a child but it has seriously gone down hill. The food has completely changed and tastes awful. It's overpriced rubbish.

Absolutely shocking behaviour. I made a complaint a week ago to which I was told my order would be replaced when I next ordered. I spoke to the manager of this "so called establishment" and was told that my food was on its way. I then waited 1 hour and a half to be insulted by the delivery driver using foul language. I was then called a lier by the manager saying that my claims were fictitious! I would not give one star on this review I feel completely abused and hurt that a local company would conduct their business in this manner. I will be taking this matter further and I would like to advise anyone thinking of using this establishment think twice!!

Sorry to say but BRING BACK FONG! Look, I know it's new Years Eve but, had a 1hr wait quoted at 545pm. Food arrived at 715pm..ok, its busy. Not all the order was there and when we called was told 2hrs to get it to us..told them to give us a credit next time...but wont be. Food was luke warm and bland, nothing like the old Wok Inn. Also, it was very intimidating when a mini bus type vehicle eventually turned up with our stuff with a pleasant young lady calling at the door...but a few very serious looking young people in the vehicle with the scruffy looking driver staring daggers out of the window of the drivers seat....sorry Wok..was a regular at the previous place..no longer.

Sold gone off Chicken!! . Shocking was given spring rolls that had clearly gone off and told bring them back in for us to check.. They had clearly been reheated and even told they were cooked fresh today, no chance!! .. This put everyone off there food and was told only get a refund for the spring rolls.. Shocking service and food quality..

Chinese, vietnamese and thai dishes feature on a massive menu. Unfortunately it's not clear if chef knows how too cook all these different cuisines. Recommend reducing the menu to dishes they can do well.

VEGETARIAN, NO! - REALLY annoyed tonight to receive our food order, only to find pieces of beef in the vegetarian plain chow mein. Not acceptable I'm afraid. When I called to advise them of this an apology was given and a replacement offered but sadly my daughter who is vegetarian could not eat any of her food. The kitchen should be far more conscious of cross contamination issues.

Got details online but could not order so got number from site. Placed order by phone useing price online. When order arived price was £10 more than caluated useing online price. Called to dispute price and had rude lady screeching down phone at me. Saying it not my site I no have site online. I returned order and will never use again!!!!

Very fast service. Can't see the kitchens from the counter but certificate for 5 star hygiene. Menu is as expected for Chinese takeaway and prices are standard.
