What a cracking boozer two massive rooms one for games the other a lounge both nicely sized the landlord was pleasant has not being local you some times get dodgy looks but the locals were friendly also let to me has I was at the bar got a good cold drink down my neck before heading towards old Trafford with my phone battery flat but this pub drop in if you are in the area forget all the trendy bars this is a working man’s pub a true boozer .

Funny pub , everyone's down to earth , get in there if ur in Salford, Top pint , Real people and ya can have a laff every day all day .

Typical English pub bar. The barwomen were very friendly. I recommend it for everyone who wants to drink a delicious beer and have a pleasant time.

Loveley pub in the heart of Salford, friendly staff and even had a scratch card where you could win a free pint of bitter if you purchased one. Nice atmosphere with good people around you, would return. Ps they have a jukebox and pool table

A traditional pub. With beers that are cheaper than those you can buy in the centre of Manchester. The beers are 'Joseph Holt' brand. Very friendly service. There is a pool table and the TVs always show great music videos. If you are passing through the Salford Precinct area, it is worth stopping by and having a stout or a bitter. On the (rare) sunny days, there is a beer garden for visitors.

Has a bad reputation but beer is great and atmosphere was really good.

Great wee pub. My friend and I were looking for somewhere for a drink in the evening and this wee gem of a place was 10 min walk from our hotel. Staff were very friendly and the regulars made us feel so welcome. Made some great new friends. Will be back for another visit that's for sure !!!

Can't beat the winny good pint.

A friendly pub about 10 minutes walk from Salford Crescent Rail Station. The landlord, bar man and other customers made me feel very welcome and I had an enjoyable evening. Manchester United interior decor. Absolutely excellent draught real ale, kept perfectly.

Caters for the local crowd. Bring cash!
