The Wine Library in Falkirk

We came in here for a wee drink after we had gone for dinner. Excellent table service. Beautiful atmosphere. The music was not too loud so we could have a good chat. Lovely.

Invited 50 people to a surprise birthday party here on Sunday afternoon. The support from the team was great. We had to pre-order food and drinks but especially with the dietary requirements (GF) they were very helpful and the buffet was extremely good. Freshly made, good variety and very generous in the quantity of food. The drinks selection was as good as ever in here plus the discount on the fizz was well received. Room was well laid out and everyone had a great time.

We were visiting Falkirk and stumbled across this bar by accident but what a find! Superb selection of wines, food, great service, lovely ambience and good location.

Brilliant wine at great prices, fantastic food, and the staff are always super friendly and accommodating. We used to come here all the time, then sadly moved out of the area. Visited again recently, and it was as amazing as we remember. I don't know why I've never given a review before. The tasting evenings are extremely fun and educational - with plenty of samples! A must go to for those local or visiting.

We love The Wine Library. The ambiance is superb with lovely staff and service. The music is at the right level for good conversation and the array of wines, spirits and cocktails is superb. Food consists of generous sharing platters and flatbreads which all add to the uniqueness of the place. Well done guys!

We haven't eaten here yet Been several times for drinks. The best wee place in Falkirk for relaxing atmosphere, great music and brilliant, friendly bar staff .

Fantastic selection of gins! We had all 3 boards and all were delicious and excellent value. Service was friendly but unobtrusive. Definitely a five star experience for the money

I love this place. Always relaxed, warm and welcoming. The knowledge of the staff and range of wine are second to none and I especially enjoy the monthly wine tasting. Stopped by for some food yesterday which was delicious. My favourite place in Falkirk

Thoroughly enjoyed my night in teh wine library. Really chilled vibe and the service was excellent. Louise was very chatty and attentive. The cocktails cater to all tastes. I enjoyed the dark n stormy (maybe a bit too much!) The food looked well presented, I would highly recommend if you're looking for a non pretentious bar.

Not just about wine and not just a library. After visiting some more raucous venues on a Saturday night, the wine library was a great place to catch up with friends and hear each other talk. Services was great. I didn’t try the wine but my wife said it was lovely.

This wine bar is well run and has great staff that are very attentive. The wine was excellent. Had a lovely Saturday afternoon sitting with a great bottle of wine. Would definitely recommend this place and will be back.

Excellent service from the staff. Lady that served us (maybe a manager) was very friendly and chatty and made us feel very welcome. But she was too much of a diplomat. I was right the others were wrong 🤣🤣🤣. Definitely go back, homely feel and great atmosphere. Thank you

Great venue! 26 people for pre registry wedding drinks in upstairs private room. Excellent service from professional, friendly staff. Drinks reasonably priced and lovely atmosphere. I’d pre ordered fizz (for which I was given a discount) and rather than opening every bottle and charging me for the lot, as I’d expected, they only opened and charged me for what we drank! Highly recommended!

Myself and three friends went into this venue for drinks. Received an exceptionally warm welcome. Excellent atmosphere. The bar looks amazing. You need to see it to believe just how gorgeous it looks. Staff very friendly, efficient and professional. Would definitely recommend. Will definitely be back.

Disappointed they've taken the 25% off a bottle of wine on a Tuesday. Still as keen taking your bottle from table just as you finish its Also had the large cheese and meat platter, very nice. Enjoyable

Visited the Wine Library for our anniversary last week. We felt that the range of wines offered by the glass could be extended. There aren’t many when you take into account how many are on the full menu. By the bottle can sometimes be either too expensive for some people or risky for fussier guests. Perhaps having a wine flight option would be good to add something different to the menu and allow you to try a few different wines at the same time? The staff are lovely and chatty so would visit again.

We walked in with no booking - Busy with mix of customers downstairs and up - we were taken upstairs to a table for two - we were made aware that our table was booked for later which we understood. Friendly and chatty staff - Water taken to the table. Good choice of drinks - Ordered wines and beers - all came very quickly - nice friendly service with regular checks to see if we needed more or anything else. Nice atmosphere upstairs - would visit again if in the area.

The place os big and well decorated. Staff very friendly and professional. They offer a wide menu with excelent choices. Very pleased with the experience

We been here a couple of times over the past year and have always had the same happy friendly (helpful - ask for their help pick a gin/mixer or wine!) service. We had some food last night and it was really delicious and great value for money. We'll keep going back!!

First visit since lockdown restrictions were relaxed and great to be back in the wine library. Staff very friendly and efficient. The wine they recommended was excellent. All in all a well run establishment. Will be back soon.

The Wine Library have been enterprising during lockdown. The online system was easy to use with great choices. I ordered Wine,Platter and Chocolates for my daughter,husband and kids. Also ordered Wine and Platter for my other daughter. Surprises were delivered and well received . All to a high standard. From their recommendations I also organised the same for a friend’s birthday. Well done to The Wine Library..... looking forward to visiting again.

Came here with friends, staff are welcoming and friendly. Friends had wine with meat/cheese/olive platters which they enjoyed, I had peroni which was very reasonably priced at 2.50.

I really enjoyed spending my Friday night with friends at the Wine Library. Great music, at a decent volume too, awesome selection of some amazing wines (at really good prices too) and impressive nibbles - but most of all wonderful staff who could not do enough for you. Thank you, will definitely be back.

Would thoroughly recommend booking the Gin Lounge (upstairs) as a party venue - we booked it as a private function for a 50th birthday and the feedback from our guests was great. Venue, buffet, staff & price all excellent.

Came here last night with my friend and we had the gin of the month (double measure) including fever tree mixer for £5! Great atmosphere, good crowd, crisps served when ordering drinks. Great selection of wines, gins and your usual alcohol. Nice establishment and when we went back at the end of the night the lady behind the bar had remembered our order from earlier in the night which was a nice touch.Centrally located bar. We will definitely be back!

Very upmarket place for drinks. Upstairs in the gin lounge there is a wide variety of gin based cocktails, including a cocktail of the week. The staff are friendly and the drinks are nice.

2 x 30 something couples visited for a few drinks after visiting a local restaurant. Lovely selection of wines which you can have upstairs in the gin bar too (little trick there as there are comfy seats some people don't know are there). Also, be bold, take a board game upstairs with you, we opted for jenga.. Yes jenga in a wine bar. Who wouldn't love jenga after a few drinks?!?Definitely recommend.

Great selection of wines and Gin, always have a promotion on large G&T £5, great value for money in nice surroundings with a slightly older crowd that know how to enjoy themselves but behave at the same time. Friendly, informative staff, well worth a visit.

Every time I visit my boyfriend we go here for a evening out . Fabulous wine list recommended by such a lovely lady , nice to be looked after my a well informed wine drinker . Another reason to spend some time in Falkirk besides the Kelpies. This gem of a place is full of charm and offers a wide selection of wines and spirits. Very comfy setting featuring Justina as the knowledgeable host. Highly recommend!

Been here many times this past year and never disappointed. Great selection of wines, a bit more expensive than other local bars but you get a great welcome and quality beverage with a nice clientele. The staff are great too, nothing is too much and they have extensive knowledge of their wines. Best bar in town!
