Sadly this was not a great experience. The food was okay other than the avocado dish that had no hint of green on the dish... it was black. I can only presume it was drop kicked from great heights to land on the plate. We were not asked if we wanted drinks so made do with the tap water. The burgers are average at best and given some come minus a bun I don't think they have yet grasped the concept of a good burger. We found the gentleman behind the bar could barely raise a smile and again wasn't offered the chance to order drinks..... i don't think we could of hinted anymore unless one of us began choking. We then requested the bill to 3 people and believe or not we had to ask again as they failed to bring it over. The best part of the meal was the menu... we learnt who shot and butchered the meat which was actually quite factual. This was genuinely the best part of the meal.

Visited on a Tuesday evening and the place was full. Good atmosphere and service was friendly and quick. The steak and venison were cooked to perfection

Great place, no frills and decent food. Although my only problem is that although the portions are fine I'm always left hungry. 2 burgers are easy to manage. Guess that's not a bad thing!

Lovely atmosphere, really friendly staff - and the owner Andy is incredibly proud of his restaurant (and rightly so). Veni moo burger was sensational - best I've ever had. Haggis pops and the venison tartare were also absolutely amazing. Not to mention the volumes of whisky choice! Highly recommend and can't wait to go back.

I never realised how much I would like venison. I went here with a friend as she works near by but had also never been. When we sat down we were a little disapointed to find otu that we wouldn't be having a wine with our dinner but then our mains came up and it was to die for. We both had the venision steaks which was also excellent value for money. I have since gone back as though it would be nice to enjoy the meal with a glass of red the food stands out on its own.

At 7pm on a Saturday night this place was empty, there’s no alcohol licence so it was soft drinks all round. I guess the joy of being new is that these things take time. After asking the waitress which burger was her favourite, I took her advice and ordered the Veni-Moo Burger. A venison burger, topped with a beef burger, topped with double cheese, salad, bresaola, bearnaise and red jon all snugly sandwiched between a brioche bun and a side of beef dripping chips. It has to be said, the food lived up to the hype. Everything was delivered on a metal tray and smelt divine. The burger was delicious and juicy (if not a little on the small side and the hipster brioche would have been better as sourdough) and the chips tasted like they had been coated in an invisible gravy that was made to make my dreams come true. For three of us to have drinks and burgers the bill came to £35 and with a winning atmosphere and friendly staff we felt like we got a real deal.

Friendly bistro style dining, good burgers, served very simply, chips to die for, and although busy, the staff in this small restaurant were never troubled - we'll be back!!

This place is great. Tucked away not far from Oxford street but well worth the visit. The bench style dining and quirky decor adds to the mood of this style of dining. The veni-moo burger was brilliant. Cooked medium-rare and very succulent with a cracking red john sauce. Beef dripping chips were a treat and the stovies (slow cooked venison with potatoes) to share as a table are a must. The service was pleasant and attentive. Would definitely recommend visiting this restaurant.

I've been desperate to eat their food since reading great reviews and articles on their pop up restaurant and was lucky enough to get a last minute booking. The restaurant is on Charlotte street which is a long road of restaurants in Fitzrovia. It's small with a modern/rustic/basic look about it. Not keen on the outside loo guys! The menu is small and the time it took took to arrive from ordering reassured us that our food going to be freshly prepared. Our burger and steak was cooked to perfection. The meat melted in our mouths and was so juicy and the taste was amazing! They don't serve alcohol, but for that didn't matter, we were there to experience the food. We're definitely returning! Can't wait!

The restaurant is the kinda place I love, it does exactly what it says. Meat and cooked beautifully. We had the venison chateaubriand to share and it was seasoned to perfection, we didn't mention how we wanted it cooked but they said medium rare which is perfect that came with lovely crunchy chips and quite possibly the best béarnaise sauce ever. We ordered some stovies on the side which were so warming on a cold rainy day. I would recommend this place as I know I will be going back, great staff lovely rustic restaurant and great food. Go if you have the chance

This tiny place really has no choice other than to shoehorn customers onto wooden benches in order to make the most use of the space but as long as you're happy rubbing shoulders the burgers alone are worth it at £6. Meltingly soft venison oozes from your fingers if you pick it up and the stovies are very good if rather unnecessarily housed in a cardboard box . Staff are friendly but alcohol is not available so this is best for some satisfying food before heading to the pub.

Excellent burgers, served on the rare side (which I love, but if that's not your sort of thing, best to err on the side of well done).A welcome addition to the area.

Went here with a few friends for the evening after a friends recommendation. It's a little place but that just added to the atmosphere of the place. The service was excellent. We had a Scottish guy called Adam look after us and his service was attentive yet relaxed. I went for the steak frites, quite possibly the best steak I've had in London in a long while. I would definitely recommend it to anyone. Well of course not a vegetarian the whole theme of the place is game. My only fault I can point out is that there wasn't any alcohol, but this drawback was soon forgotten once the amazing food arrived.

Oh dear. The rare and medium-rare Classic venison burgers both arrived identically medium, served under-seasoned [or unseasoned?] in a griddled but truly cold bun, with too much over-sweet onion chutney that dominated the flavour. And way-over-salted fries.[The replacements were good though.]There were two cooks and two servers, chatting not concentrating, it felt.No beer or wine ["The Man Upstairs Is A Muslim"] so tap water.

I hadn’t been to this venue before, but had a good night. Good clientele in an intimate venue. The only downside is if you don’t have ice in your drinks, they don’t fill the glass, leaving a inch from the top. What cheapness. Never seen that before. I’d plan on going back, but hopefully this nonsense will stopped being practiced.

I have visited this coffee shop multiple times and it is just great. The coffee served there is the best you can get in the area!

I attended this coffee shop today and bought an oat cappuccino to take away. On past occasions my cappuccino has split all over my hand so I asked the lady who serves the coffee if she could put cling film over the cup to prevent spillage. She become irritated and snapped. I asked her for a cup holder and she again did not listen and put another cup on top. Subsequently when I reached home the coffee was spilled. I shall not be using the coffee shop again. Very rude lady.
