Good local pub, not too sure about cleanliness of glasses and they always have 1 cask ale rather than a range :-D

No food here but the service and beer is amazing. A proper pub and the best in the area. This landlady knows how to run a pub.

First time at this pub, went on fruit machine tried to collect my £20.00 machine said Error went to the bar was told to come back and collect, I said I live 40 mins away so not possible, she advised the landlord said not allowed to do that and would bank transfer me within 24 hours. Well 3 days later phone line off and no money!!! Shows why the landlord doesn’t give the number out! Local licensing made aware and are going to investigate.

Had no money and politely asked to use the toilets and was granted access. Was able to suit and boot myself to no expense. Seems popular and chilled out. Also managed, the scruff I am to appropriate some tobacco unselfishly not made obsolete with tap water. A tragic ploy by some landlords but not these. Thank you for having me I'll surely return another day. Peace.

Disrespecful-turn the music down!!!

Hired the function room for my 30th, it wasn’t a big party (40 people or so) but the space was perfect. We were allowed to play on the pool table and darts plus we were served at our own bar. The staff were so friendly and we wasn’t charged for the hire of the room which was fantastic. They did offer to do us food and provide a DJ if that’s something people wanted. On this night there was a live band in the main room which we also enjoyed. Thank you Laura and her team we will be back for future events! Highly recommend!

Average suburban pub, beer pretty good.

Classic small-town pub. Nice pub, with all the best features, but let down by some mouthy people and needs some tidying up. Could do with a bit more real ale choice.

Didn't have food but the service ,staff and the people that go in there has a great atmosphere, the landlady is brilliant, always got a smile on her face, prices are good ,plenty of parking ,clean and tidy ,,can't fault the place

Very good and Nice and clean.Prices are very good.there is a large car park and All Accessible for Wheel Chair They also have seating out the front of the pub and a very Large Garden, with Seating to the Rear

Hired the lounge out for a 50th Birthday party, staff were great everyone was served quickly and were quick to deal with any requests we had. We all had an amazing time and would definitely recommend hiring out for a function in the future. All communications for the party in the weeks running up to the date was dealt with with quick replies. Thank you to all the staff who worked on the 9th September we had a great time.

Nice big friendly place, I was on soft drinks so can't comment on how well kept the beers are. Good range on offer though

Diabetic and whet to wake and no coffee or tea.. bit cramped in there and dark and dingy. In no to go back

Apart from the same old drunken people that are always let in the pub is brilliant,friday night was spoild by a very drunken person that should have been dealt with before he got even more hammerd,within 20 minutes of being in the pub I had to get my wife behind me to protect her,the doorman seemed very scared to have words with this guy and even walked away,VERY VERY POOR,but on the bright side the dua lipa /amy wighthouse tribute was fantastic,bar staff brilliant,door staff terrible

Maybe I visited on an off day.... A guy known to them tried, and I say tried to give me some bother. Sometimes you can't help the clientele.. The staff, the drinks, the service, entertainment and cleanliness all spot on..

This is definitely not a family pub. Children are not welcome after 18:00. My advice would be changing it to adults only. Really annoyed.

Quiet for a Friday, but extremely friendly staff. They have a pool table, so decided to give it a try. I'll blame the poor performance on not having done it for a while! 🤣
