Booked a table for 9 of us for a pre Christmas get together, the choice was pork, turkey or beef for lunch and it was served to us on piping hot plates. There was a good helping of meat along with plenty of veg. Christmas pudding was served for afters and we were looked after brilliantly by Helen and her team. Great value for money and an amazing welcome in one of Denbigh’s oldest pub. Great job…. We will return. Diolch

Have visited this place a few times for soft drinks when taking residents out on day trips. We decided to go there for Sunday lunch and wow we were amazed of the lovely Sunday lunch that we had and the price was really good too. The service was excellent and the food was all fresh and served hot. We also had a dessert and both were under £10. Will be returning there again soon. Carys the lady behind the bar had recommended the Sunday lunch and so glad she did. A friendly and welcoming pub worth a visit as you wont be disappointed.

Yes its the bargain of a lifetime at the White (the locals dont call it the White Lion ) Sunday Lunch a pint and still change from a £10 note !!! The staff are the friendliest you have ever known, Helen, Merion, Carys, Carol, Pat ... you'll feel part of their family as soon as you walk in the door. The locals too will smile, chat, even come and sit with you for a while. Oh the food? Well that's really good too, especially for the price. Be warned though it can be busy, Food only on Sunday between 12 noon and 2pm. They do food for the local pensioners once a month though. John

Just needed a place to relax and enjoy a beer. A very inviting, cosy pub with a nice mix of friendly locals and out-of-towners. The local brew tastes fantastic.

Our first visit to this pub was on New Years day and we've been popping in occasionally ever since for a few pints. The welcome you receive is second to none, the staff are always friendly and ready to engage in conversation and the locals are simply lovely. We haven't sampled the food offering yet but fully intent to pop in for a Sunday Lunch in the future as the smells coming from the kitchen were incredible

It is the first time I entered this cafe for over 60 years. Walking into my past. A spotlessly clean and sharp evocation of what an ice cream parlour was in the 1950’s - beautiful. The service was fr
