Food pub around.very good staff

Absolutely appalled with the service. Table booked for 12. Could not get the drinks order right. Then food was burnt, starters and mains came out at the same time. raised complaints to waitresses no one came to apologise would never recommend. Mould in the area where eating. Also No toilet seats either.

It was the first time we had been in The White Hart. We liked what we had for lunch. The staff were very good.

Dropped in for a coffee as most cafes in town were shut. Possibly the worst coffee I've had in a long time, very bitter! Will nit be going back.

Have visited this pub, and it's sister pub the once legendary Green Dragon many times and, as regular vistors will know, there is very little open on Mondays in this historic town. The staff are exemplary but the management have failed to create any atmosphere comaparable to the days of Justin Harvey and his 'family'. Such a shame.

Fab pub with amazing range of beers. Food looked fantastic. I'll simply need to come back!

Amazing Sunday carvery.Best roast Ive had for a long time and honestly the best desert (from a really good selection) I've had in living memory. Could not get a better pud in a fine dining restaurant. And all cooked on site by resident chef.All serving staff were brilliant too.Fantastic value for money.

Passed by on a Sunday and smelt the carvery which enticed us in. Greeted by friendly staff and an adorable dog, the carvery was brilliant as were the deserts. Have booked a table for a couple weeks time. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely pub. Used to do the amazing 'Baked Camembert' ohhhh it was DELICIOUS 😋 Nevertheless, still does lovely tastey food. Nice beer. Lovely staff

After trying 2 other places to eat - found out they were closed on a monday, we went to the white heart. Nice pub in the centre of Whymondham good food. Had the gammon, which came with two nicely cooked fried eggs and chunky chips. Good value for money. Wasnt busy when we were there- early evening.

Really friendly pub with lovely, attentive staff. The cheesecake with ice-cream was wonderful, and very nice wine. Will definitely come again.

Well done guys for bringing this pub back to life. Great atmosphere, friendly and lovely staff. Fabulous live band on 6th July and we had a blast.

I wanted a coffee and they did good coffee. I like their range of cider and they do good Guinness too.

Lovely and lively establishment had a dinner party there. Live music band were on. Good selection of menu choices on offer. Very good staff. I'd recommend visiting here 😁

Such a lovely centuries old pub, possibly an old coaching Inn. Good selection on the menu including vegetarian and vegan. The carvery looked amazing and, a good price.

Went here for Sunday carvery the guy carving the joints had no protection clothing against him and the food and he wiped his nose several times with the back of his hand whilst cutting the meat. I got the attention of the waitress who informed me that he has hay fever, I then tell her he needs to go wash his hands and put on a mask . She told him and he returned with no mask ,and did he wash his hands ? Needless to say My husband as an ex chef did not eat a carvery !!

Nice family pub. Service is excellent. Food is freshly cooked, however the vegetables could have been hotter. The crumble wasn't for me..bad choice. The chocolate brownie looked lovely...I should have had that.

Great range of ales and beers, plenty of seating. Slight gripe, Some of the led lights are a little too 'fierce' for my liking.

Wow has the White Hart gone down hill recently. Hadn't been for a while so was excited for a nice meal. Unfortunately the food has got a lot worse, the pizza was poorly cooked and the cheese was lower quality than previously. The service is the same as ever, slow, and always forgetting stuff. Not sure if it's a new owner or management but they haven't improved the bad bits and have made the good bits worse. Won't be back in a hurry that's for sure.

Lovely food in a lovely pub. The staff couldn't have been more helpful as they moved a table to accommodate us, really enjoyed it here. I've not had liver and onions for ages and it was great. Would have liked a little veg with it. Loved a nice crumble for dessert which would been perfect with a little more custard. But I'd definitely eat here again 😁

The White Hart was a lucky find for us as we were on a 3 hour journey and decided to get off the main road for a spot of lunch. It was everything you could want from a British pub. Warm, welcoming, good food and a great choice of draft beer (we weren't all driving! ) . Certainly recommend.

I was pleasantly surprised when we walked inside. I hadn't idea how pretty it was in the pub and dining room, loved our hot chocolates, and the staff were attentive. We didn't precooked but they sorted our family out with a table or two for us. Would recommend and will return for food next time as it looked delicious 😋

Had a dinner here with family was excellent service, very good with disabled family members and excellent food good range of drinks as well, service was fast and attentive. Was reasonably priced for 3 courses for 5 people!

Really needs to better on talking to people not this country they talk English people they say how you are when I am in there it they never speak of gave conversation really find discriminated as a Asian woman who this country 32 years jut not very feeling my race is problem they look at me doing sometimes dogying Asian even when drinking a soft drink can't Asian allowed walk around have staff following to the toilets etc checking of me they don't they do to English people we 2023 not 1950s I am sick getting going English pubs getting followed not spoken properly no manners even I can speak English is my 1st languages

The White Hart is the centre of Wymondham. This places offers a wide range of meals. Recently we have been going for the Pizza deal on Thursdays for tow pizzas at £10! Cracking deal that has kept us going back for more. Wide variety of drinks. Friendly staff. Outdoors seating is comfortable.

Friendly staff, food good and resonably priced. Service guite speedy. A well stocked and good range of beers at the bar.

We visited the pub as our son was at his young carers event. We went in to see what they served. We greeted by a lovely young lady who asked us if we wanted to sit inside/outside. We sat inside and looked at the menu. To our shock some of the prices in a good way. Amazing value for money and the food was amazing when we got it. I got the cheese and bacon burger and my wife got whitebait, chips & salt and pepper squid. It was delicious and very filling. Will def be coming back soon with our son. Keep up the great work. Love this pub! We go every week to their pub quiz. The staff are welcoming and the food is great and well worth the price we get desserts and their chocolate orange brownie is amazing Will continue to come back every week for your quiz!

Nice, regular old-ish style pub, courtyard garden, no jukebox, no TVs, great real ale selection. Dogs welcome. Thursday 2 4 £10 pizza night is great value. Also quiz that night

The White Hart in Wymondham is an excellent pub. My partner & I had a lovely Sunday roast carvery - the beef & pork were cooked perfectly (& there was some crackling too). Good choice of vegetables with the cauliflower cheese being extra tasty as was the gravy. The staff were friendly and helpful. There is an outside eating area as well as indoors. They are child friendly (my son popped over whilst we were there with my 6 month old grand twins). The car park, across the road, is free on Sundays, so that is an extra bonus. Will definitely eat there again.

We love it here. Great food,staff and ambience. Our favourite place in Wymondham. It’s a traditional pub/ restaurant and so nice to have it just on our doorstep. My husband tells me the ales are good too and plenty of choice and kept perfectly.

Never had any food. Service was good. But no No TV's to watch any sport.

Beer festival.and live music excellent night out whilst on holiday

To all the real Ale drinkers out there, I have stumbled upon probably one of the finest real ale establishments in Wymondham. They not only have one of the finest Oakhams Inferno I have ever tasted, but they also have some lovely local ales as well. This month they have around 8 different ales from Norfolk only! So, if your like myself and enjoy a pint of Real Ale, don’t hesitate to drop in for a pint or three!!!!!

Very good Sunday carvery and excellent service

Had travelled down from North Wales,to see old friends , my son and I went for a meal Sat night(3-6-23) found it to be a very welcoming and pleasant pub, serving excellent meals and ales, Will be back on our next visit to Wymondham.

Have had several meals here over time and never been disappointed. Meals have always been good and not bad portion sizes. Staff friendly and helpfull. This pub has improved in all areas since the current landlords took over.

First time we've been back since the pub reopened,it was reasonably busy,had a very nice rissoto,and a Eaton mess for afters, Eaton mess would have been perfect apart from squirty Cream instead of the real stuff,wife had a Hunter's chicken which was nice but had far too much cheese on it.however all round a very nice evening.a new menu since we last visited and much improved I must say, fish and chips, chicken curry, Mediterranean tart burgers pizzas and some lovely desserts 👍

Evening out with our daughter and son-in-law and weren’t disappointed. All the food was delicious especially the pizza's. Staff very friendly and polite. Would definitely recommend it.

Even though the food was delicious it was on the cool side. A smile from the waitress would have been nice. The premises was clean, tidy and welcoming.

This is the best pub in Wymondham if you have a dog! There is a very friendly and well behaved pub dog, all the staff are great with our little boxer. They seem to be improving their food at the moment too, as we go here more than anywhere else im really glad they are doing better fish and vegetarian dishes now!

I‘ve been there just for a pint but this pub looked so amazing. I had a look at the menu and it sounds quite delicious. Definitely the best place in town to eat something. Next time I’ll try the pub food

My first visit to The White Hart and enjoyed a great pint or two there. On entering there was a good buzz... apparently it was quiz night with a very good turn out of locals. The barman was welcoming and explained what hand pumped ales were on offer. (Makes such a change when I often encounter staff are in the wrong job and shouldn't be serving people.. you know the type!) Anyhow, the beer was great and I thoroughly enjoyed it and the general atmosphere. May try some food there next time I'm in Wymondham and update this if I remember to... otherwise it's a great venue IMHO if you're just in the mood for a good pint. Recommended.

Food is ok. Table service is non existing. Staff spend more time chatting at the bar than the customers do. After food we went elsewhere. Shame as it's got so much going for it.

My watering hole of choice whenever I'm in Wymondham. This time we had been to the Remembrance Parade and in need of a couple of shwallies to go with the old stories from my RAF days as we pulled up a sandbag in the beer garden. A particularly nice pint of Guinness and they had loads of food cooked up like a Sunday roast which looked very nice. The food menu looks good and I think next time we will make an afternoon of it. We had two very lively Spaniel pups with us which was no bother, the White Hart is dog and kid friendly. Looking forward to my next visit. 🥰

Sunday carvery, good value and good food . Helpful and attentive , but not overly, staff.

Very good food at a reasonable price

Lunch time visit. Abstained from a pint and I still managed to like it! Nice food and clearly popular, had a nice feel to it.

Covid meant restricted menu and basically burgers and pizzas. I have eaten in many pub burgers across the UK and this one was really nice, home made with a lightly toasted roll, decent cheddar and some thick cut bacon. The kids had pizza, again top notch, thin base had a nice crunch to it from being cooked in a pizza oven at high heat. They do a really nice bowl of fries topped with cheese, jalapeno and bacon. I think my highlight was the thick chips that came with the burger. Only downside for me was having to sit outside on a cold evening, but that is not the pub's fault! Never had bad food in there and the real ale is always nice. Edit: Went there last week, food has gone downhill. Pizza was loaded with cheap cheese, the lovely pizza I had in lockdown is no more.

Not quite as busy on Beer Festival day as Green Dragon so service was good, places to sit and the beer was colder.

Tasty pub meal. Dog friendly. Good service, friendly staff.
