Sun Rise in South Norfolk

Went to this take away tonight the food was bad bbq ribs sauce was like water Beef and blackbean sauce again sauce had no taste and again was like water i phone up was told to take it back which I did they accused me of eating it I did dish it up and we did try it they did give me a refund but said to me you not like my food don't come back what an attitude with there customers

Chop suey dish only contained pork and bean sprouts and no further vegetables - very disappointing!

Lovely Chinese food. Would recommend getting pre orders in early as they get very busy quickly! Cash or cheque only so remember this when collecting or ordering.

We recently ordered a take away for collection from Sun Rise. The person on the phone was very polite and helpful and confirmed a collection time. Upon arrival our food was ready on time and the order was correct (also included were some free prawn crackers). Staff were friendly The food was well cooked, hot, and fresh. It was one of the nicest Chinese takeaways that we have had for a long time and we will definitely be back again soon. Highly recommended!

The most tasteless Chinese I have ever tried. Rice especially. Chips were awful, no flavour at all. Dont even accept card payments. Chicken balls was strange. Tasted like gristle? Sweet and sour sauce was super sweet so everything tastes of sugar....noodles just about ok. Wont be using again....🤬 £20 Down the toilet.

Average garden centre,Cafe was excellent, definitely use cafe again.

So polite, so friendly, so helpful, even carried our food to my car as I have crutches and find it difficult to walk. Food is amazing, such great value for money.

Friendly staff and effective service. Used this takeaway quite a few times in the last year. Sweet and Sour chicken and chicken chow mein are both favourites!

Absolutely outstanding Chinese. Having lived in various areas in Norwich, Sun Rise is by far the best Chinese I have come across. Would highly recommend to everyone.

Great food and friendly staff, what else could you ask for.

Good when they get the order right. Been a loyal customer for past 12 years. I'd say 60% of the time they get the order wrong. For example tonight ordered a beef shezwan and got a chicken shezwan. Can't even be bothered to call. Never use again.

Extremely bland & tasteless, noodles tasted off. Meal wasted

The chicken balls must have been cooked in curry powder. Spicy as he'll. Rest of meal was ok.

Without a doubt the worst Chinese I've ever had. The chilli & garlic chicken (salt & pepper chicken) had no freshness or flavour to the dish. I know it's a dry dish but I've never had that dish anywhere near as dry before but that's down to each pirce of so called chicken was mostly the coating.. 98% batter and 2% chicken. The egg fried rice was under cooked and clumped together, the curry sauce was way too sweet and didn't taste anything like Chinese style curry sauce. I went with just these 3 dishes to be safe as I've never used this Chinese takeaway before, I also thought that it's impossible to mess these items up.... but I was wrong. I will never be returning. Was just as bad as Chinese buffet food and that's saying something. This takeaway wasn't on TripAdvisor therefore I've had to leave a review on here.

Pretty average as Chinese takeaway goes. Very brown, not so good heated up the next day.

The food is excellent , as is the service , the only negative point I can think of is they don't accept card payment , cash only , but there is a cashpoint right outside

Not bad at all, very tasty. Meals for one aren't as large as at some Chinese take aways, but would still just about feed two people, or one very hungry person!
